ehmmm.. I been using them on my website but got this letter a few weeks ago :
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the closure of CoinPayments.net. FinCEN has ruled that Bitcoin is in their purview which would make us a money transmitter. We simply do not have the resources to register with FinCEN and most of the 50 states as a MSB and comply with all of the AML/KYC laws (and no realistic way to raise the funds to do so.)
The shutdown will happen in 3 stages:
1. We will stop accepting new user registrations effective immediately.
2. We will stop processing new transactions at 11:59:59 PM EST on March 24, 2014 (transactions already in progress at that time will be completed).
3. The website will otherwise remain operational until 11:59:59 PM EST on March 31st, 2014 when it will be shut down.
Check their site -- they sold the business to someone in the community who has all of the required paperwork and so they are no longer shutting down. Not sure why they haven't emailed with this update -- I'm signed up for them as well. |

Something we can do to help the value of DIEM is to get merchants to accept it. Request it be added to Coinpayments.net -- a merchant services provider who accepts a growing range of altcoins: https://www.coinpayments.net/coinreqAlready have Paysha coming soon Nothing wrong with both. Except coinpayments sold their site due to not having proper licensing so I would be cautious using coinpayments for now It seems to me that two merchant service providers accepting DIEM is better than one. Just trying to help out and am not looking for a bounty or anything if that's what the dev was thinking. Coinpayments was put into a position where they didn't have licensing because the rules were changed so they suddenly needed a license they hadn't needed before, not because they refused to follow the rules. The issue has been resolved by the sale and they're now properly licensed, so I'm not sure what the issue would be. Anyway, I was just trying to make a suggestion that might benefit the adoption of the coin... |

I've gotten emails from eminer.pl and he seems to be working on fixing it right now.

Is this just my account?? Anyone else on this pool being blocked withdrawals? I still see traffic going there so miners are still using it? Anyone know the mineoncloud admin, very frustrating I can't pull my 2 million coins off that pool.

What is going on with mineoncloud? I have coins stuck on that pool and they are not allowing any withdrawals. There are no blocks being found on that pool. When will they start allowing withdrawals? Has been in this state for 10+ hours.
If anyone else is on this pool and wants to confirm any issues, please let me now and I'll cross it off until it's fixed I jumped off Mineoncloud a day or so ago because of the "We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP" message which is still there. I still have over 400,000 stuck there as confirmed but payouts are disabled. I switched to eminer.pl and that was fine when I went to bed. But when I got up I found that, despite them accepting work, and despite my hashes showing in the dashboard, I was never getting any confirmed or unconfirmed balances. According to the DIEM wallet app, the last payment I got from them was at 7:45am my time (it's around 9pm now). Looking at the transactions page on their site, that payment is the newest item. Never credited for any of the work, yet I showed up in the pool stats and the usual data was show on the dashboard, etc. -- except for the balance never updating. I am missing many millions. It's still pretty early in Poland, which is where I guess the server is located, so I'm hoping he's about to wake up, see the problem and fix it with nothing lost... |

Same here Worth....I'm hoping more pools get added...getting tired of the issues w/ the pools we have  Seriously. One downside of the coin (not sure if it's something about the way it's designed or a coincidence) but I've seen more flakey pool behavior with this coin than almost any other. I'm hoping the coins are piling up somewhere without displaying them to me and will suddenly pay out in full... |

Is anyone else having problems with eminer.pl? It shows my hash speed and stats on the dashboard, but no un/confirmed balances at all and no transactions for hours. I don't want to be wasting my hashes here...

Chiznitz, a suggestion: you wisely use 2FA for login, etc. -- on the login page you might want to add a line saying "check your email for the code" or "check your phone for the text with the authentication code" or something similar just to clarify things since all it says now is "enter code" without saying what code you're talking about.
I thought it was looking for a captcha for a second and started to check and see if NoScript was hiding the captcha image before I realized it was asking for a 2FA code. Not a big issue for most people, but some might not realize what you're asking for.
haha sometimes we overlook the simple things, Yes I agree we'll try and get something up soon to let users know. We hope to add authy and google authenticator for login and also for withdrawals so we can remove the email spam for authenticating withdraw Just one sentence to clarify what code you're looking for is all you need on the login page. But please don't drop the email option! I tend to avoid using services that force me to share info with third parties like Google. I don't use Google for anything because they're just a big data mining operation. It's not actually difficult to click a link in an email. |
