461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: January 25, 2021, 12:42:48 AM
Two years since op posted this quoted message, Eth has already hit it's new ath. I am very much optimistic that two years down the lane, eth will again set new ath and will not go below it's atl level ever.
Lucky are those who bought at that price.

That teaches people a lot about crypto,,, to sit through one ATH and wait for the next one. I envy those who were in the ATH periods for Bitcoin before 2017, they definitely would have known even better this current one was coming. It is all a patient progressive development, with crashes littering the charts;)
Yes it also teaches it is never a good idea to sell your crypto during dump. Instead one should try and accumulate as much as one can during that period.

BTW seems like ETH is on it way to touch new ATH. I predict it will reach to $2200 to $2500 range this time.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: January 25, 2021, 12:38:44 AM
We have no expectation of any significant investments coming in from the IEOs currently managed by the exchanges we have selected.   Tokpie, indoex, vindax and chainx were selected as an opportunity for our project to simply advertise  to their community at a reasonable marketing cost.

Most investments will likely be coming in directly from our ICO on our website.   Once the ICO  and IEOs conclude on February 25th,  there will be a one month break to allow our NEW TOP exchanges to promote our project to their communities to excite demand upon opening trading day. We are also launching our guerilla global marketing campaign beginning in early February to further increase public awareness/ demand of MYID Coins.

We will begin announcing the top exchanges we will be listing on for public trade starting February 20th and the planned date for the opening day of trade on the exchanges is March 25th 2021.
Sounds Good. From your post, may I infer that you have already decided on your TOP exchange? Do you have any contract with them already about listing or still in negotiations stage?
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: January 24, 2021, 08:19:02 AM
by the way, is MYID officially registered on tokpie?
No, it's not officially listing. If it was officially, I think MYID team will make announcement about it, in this thread and in the project social media.
Tokpie looks doing free listing without a formal request from the team, like they doing in Pyche thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283530.msg55975463#msg55975463
If it is not official, how did they get tokens? Their IEO is going on and I don't think any exchange will buy tokens to list it on their exchange.
Maybe some team member has sold it to them

We will look into what is going on at Tokpie.  Our coins should not yet be available for public trade anywhere except for Uniswap.  We have not authorized public release/trade of MYID Coins on Tokpie.  They have only been authorized to manage an IEO for  MYID Coins, NOT open public listing for trade.  Thank you for the information.
You should not have chosen these B grade exchanges for your IEO. I know it is not economically possible for every project to launch their IEO on big top exchanges but instead of going for these B grade exchages, you should have done ICO on your own website.
464  Economy / Speculation / Re: $27000 or $35000? Which will Bitcoin head to at the end of Jan.? on: January 23, 2021, 09:21:12 PM
Is the dip this time filling the gaps or bearish reversion?
Although it is never easy to predict and most predictions fail badly but I have resons to believe that BTC will soon again surpass $35k mark.
Some future options are going to expire on 29 January plus once things settle down in US, BTC price will start going up.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let`s say bitcoin replaces fiat. What happens? on: January 23, 2021, 09:17:43 PM
It won't ever replace FIAT.

Fiat can scale infinitely because it is centralized. There are zero bottlenecks with FIAT.

If some magic happens and Bitcoin replaces FIAT however, it would be same as FIAT without any physical bank notes...

Bitcoin supply is limited and it is cornered by a few people. It would be total chaos and the governments would fall and the next world war would begin.

Agreed. Bitcoin is store of value. It will replace gold not fiat in future. Soon we will see digital version of all national currencies. China has already developed it didgiat yuan.
People will no longer use BTC for buying or selling, they will use as storage of value just like people do with gold.

467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The domain name Altcoin.net is for sale on: January 22, 2021, 09:47:12 PM
Domain name: Altcoin.net. ALTCOIN.NET
Asking price: BTC1.5

There are many domains related forum where you can sell or auction your domain. You can also sell them on godaddy or on sedo.
You domain name looks good but I don't think you will find real evaluator here for this.
The sites I mentioned have many domain buyers and who know you may sell it for more than 1.5 BTC in usd.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: January 22, 2021, 09:39:46 PM
Hello,

Here is a partial list top exchanges that we are considering to launch the opening day listing of MY IDENTITY Coin, MYID.

Binance, Bithumb, Kraken, Kucoin, Upbit, Bitfinex, Okex, Lbank, Coinone, Bittrex.

You are aiming for listing on major exchanges, but you are currently running IEOs on several junk exchanges such as ChainX Vindax and Indoex. Your goal is just wishful thinking.
Also need to be remembered, those exchanges has expensive listing fee because their name is so famous. If MYID team targeting them especially binance and kraken, then they have to prepare a large enough fund. I hope the current sales will become a foothold to achieve that.
Some exchanges like houbi offer listing on community voting too. You need to built stong community of supporters and holders who can vote for you if need arises.
I don't think you can afford to pay fee of ant top exchange.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses $25 million of electric a day on: January 21, 2021, 08:56:13 PM
That's an awful lot of money/carbon going into the atmosphere.

The article says bitcoin wastes $76 per transaction confirmed.

https://www.fudzilla.com/news/52242-bitcoin-costs-the-world-25-million-daily

We have to accept the fact that a centralized system will always be more efficient than a decentralized system. Just think why democratic governments are so slow at implementing anything. BUT some things are too important to be centralized which obviously comes at a drawback.
What does it has to do with centralized and decentralized system?
It's about power consumption due to Bitcoin mining and transacting.
Crypto can not be centralised.
470  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need an Investor & a Co-Founder For My Project on: January 21, 2021, 08:35:36 PM
Offer still very much open. Ready to show work in progress to anyone who is interested in seeing.

Regards
$80k is a big amount of money to invest particularly when nobody here knows you personally.
I suggest you create a pool and rope in around 20-30 people who can invest in that pool.
This will lower the risk for everyone.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: January 21, 2021, 08:26:53 PM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.
I have been away for past few months and didn't get chance to join any signature campaign so my crypto earnings are almost zero.
But now that I have some free time, I hope to make few bucks in crypto.
I also hope new signature campaign that I have joined succeed and I get paid for my work.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: January 21, 2021, 08:21:00 PM
Currently, ETH price is at 127$. ETH has not done that well this year. And the altcoin market is very much dependent on the ETH price. So what value are you expecting during the upcoming year? Is there any possibility of recovery or it will keep continuing to go down?
Two years since op posted this quoted message, Eth has already hit it's new ath. I am very much optimistic that two years down the lane, eth will again set new ath and will not go below it's atl level ever.

And all these years I have been thinking asking for merit is not allowed in this forum  Grin If it is okay, I would also request some generous source to give me some merits too.
I am not much active though but I had job where I have to spend almost half of my day.
Can not give much time here Sad

Yes that's one of the disadvantages of Bitcoin but more better mining devices can be developed in future to solve this issue.
You know how many trees are cut every year to produce paper money?
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's why I'm leaving Bitcoin on: January 21, 2021, 09:00:06 AM
Op made a very heart touching post but you can not control how others will treat something. The fact is that BTC has now become store of value and means to move money instantly across the borders.
It will continue to progress in this direction.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 20, 2021, 10:29:14 PM
I believe Polkadot is a good project for investment, because Polkadot's price increase was beyond my expectation. Even 4 days ago the price hit
an all time high of $ 19.32. Even Polkadot's market cap finally made it past XRP, so for now Polkadot is in the top 4 based on the ranking on
the CMC sites.

This has proven that in 2021 Polkadot is increasingly attractive to investors, but to be able to beat Ethereum I'm not sure. Because Ethereum's
popularity is still very high compared to Polkadot, it will take a long time if Polkadot wants to beat Ethereum.
Well Polkadot is certainly better than Ethereum in many ways but Ethereum has early starter advantage.
It will not be possible for polkadot to beat Ethereum once eth 2 is completely rolled out.
Just like there are better cryptos than BTC but BTC still the king because of its early start advantage.

Man this certainly is not the right section to post this. There is a sub forum for selling digital goods. Please move this thread to that sub forum.
PS : it's not sensible to post your mobile number on public forums.

Why is it that your telegram group is so silent and only one member from your team is available to answer questions from community. This delayed the communication.
I suggest you should hire some more moderators to manage your group.
