461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 10:03:16 AM
It depends, my time runs out after I win unexpectedly in a short time or if I lost all what I can afford to lose, assuming $20 is all I plan to risk for today, I always make sure it doesn't surpass this amount, once I lost the whole money I take my leave or once I hit a lucky win I always take my leave even if all I have risk is just $2, and still have $18 left, I will leave.

After you hit a win your mind will play a game on you, thinking this is just the beginning, it's true that you can win the second time also but I plan to stick with what works for me, I would rather leave than to risk playing again, I am securing and defending my mental state is all.

If you don't have a amount you are willing to risk and all you got is time, you won't know when to stop, you won't even know how long you've been gambling for until you have nothing left.
462  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Where to place my miners? on: December 27, 2023, 09:02:50 AM
A dust free and well ventilated area are the best choice for keeping your Asic miner and also don't forget to take good care of the machine, something that works all around the clock will eventually get some durst in them, make sure you clean then after a long period of operation.

Also know that the more Asic miners you have the more noisy they become and also the more heat been generated, I suggest you watch videos online to just have some ideas about how asic miners are placed or set next to each other, some have extra cooling features installed but it depends on your home, and where winds do flows from.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 27, 2023, 08:00:14 AM
It makes sense to vote for no complaints or scam accusations, some new casinos easily misbehave with their customers and that's why I always feel skeptic when it comes to brand new online casinos, new casinos are known to be the most fraudulent ones as they don't always tend to run the business for long, they are most times ready to go down with customers funds.

I honestly get attracted to new online casinos after a long period of months, I will like to see what they can do after some time in operation, but still I can't avoid one fact that almost all casinos are the same, it's only the customers services and presentations that are different, this is why I don't bother looking for new casinos.

When a problem occurs, how sooner the team solve the problem adds a better layer of trust on such casino, this is one of the most effective ways to build reputation, I will go with how fast problems are handled and also how strong the casino rep is.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Innovation in online gambling on: December 26, 2023, 05:28:06 PM
I think online casinos have enough games that anyone will be interested to bet some money on, as a fan of stake casino I am much more satisfied with everything they have to offer, but I am not onto every casino games, I like only Slots and sports bet because they are just my favorite.

Online games attract their audience by gradually updating the games, they apply new changes every few months and I don't expect much from slots games but so far it's good and satisfying enough for me.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no reward on: December 26, 2023, 02:02:24 PM
Everything is risky, sleeping is risky, waking up is risky, walking down the road is risky, visiting the toilet is risky, we coming into this world is risky, growing up is risky, what is not risky in this work? Ehn? Tell me, nothing.

You can't just start taking risks on anything because of no risk no reward, some risks shouldn't have been taken but because you lack knowledge you end up making mistakes, my advice is everyone should seek knowledge first before taking risks on anything, even if it's Bitcoin, which I believe it's why many people have the wrong idea about Bitcoin.

It doesn't end with you able to take risks, if you lack knowledge you will take the wrong risks, there are unnecessary risks that shouldn't be taken, if you want to go into a new project or business you need knowledge first before risking anything.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 26, 2023, 01:09:53 PM
It's not peoples fault to say the truth, many people are suffering so much and the only thing that they can do is to try their luck with gambling, few people are able to escape from poverty with gambling but not all of them will get that lucky.

Have any of you ever feel bad telling those who have less than you to stay away from gambling when you have no other better option for them? This have one time happened when I was having a conversation with a gambler, he has no other way.

The best way I helped this gambler was revealing to him how I go about my own gambling strategy, if you are not a irresponsible gambler you can actually get lucky some day but I advice against relying too much on gambling.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of proper knowledge on casino games increases chance of loss and reduce fun on: December 26, 2023, 12:17:35 PM
Even someone who have never heard about gambling before should know the meaning of gambling already, it's a game of luck, so why would anyone just stumble across a gambling advert and decide to try it out with big money? That's so unwise and only idiots do such thing.

In my country, there are many people that have never tasted what gambling feels like yet when they hear someone talking about gambling they will say that they can never become a gambler, as if they have played and lost a lot of money.

And this isn't how things are with them, they just know that the name gambling is already a red flag, and it's true, knowing what gambling really means is enough for everyone to cautious with gambling, you don't even need someone to lecture you about gambling.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt at Bitcoin ETF..You knew it was coming once BTC raised above ATH on: December 25, 2023, 02:37:49 PM
Bitcoin will still do it's thing either ways, and maybe ETF approval isn't good anyways for Bitcoin who knows? But these ETFs are not the only ones that's ready to be approved, some are already approved but out of the US, which is why I believe that the US is playing a big part in crypto space than other countries.

The deadline is already here and if it eventually get approved be on alert for some huge pump and big retracement, the halving isn't even here yet and I feel after halving should be the best time to get the ETFs approval but it's all good.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to ride and stop! on: December 25, 2023, 02:01:52 PM
Gamble with small amount, even if you lose it won't really affect you in any way, and when you win, using small amount of money always choose to take your leave, you won't know if this luck is meant to play out just once, if you keep playing you will start losing everything back to the casino.

I always believe that every lucky win when gambling is a excuse to keep on gambling, it's nothing but a strategy that can easily trap you and never let go, do not fall for such trick, this is the only way you can always beat the casino.

Still nothing is guaranteed, but if what you are risking doesn't matter ( using small money ) you won't be affected by whatever plays out while having fun gambling.
470  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 25, 2023, 12:19:29 PM
Reviews consist of lies and truth, and the crazy part is that some casinos have their ways of getting rid of those truth reviews if it's really going to affect their reputation.

I would rather not look into a reviews much, and I can only find out if it's a scam casino or not, everything else is left for me to find out by experimenting the casino myself.

Forget reviews, if you have to do it make sure you use this forum, there are good casinos on here, enough to fill your gambling fantasy for you, there is no room for scam casinos on this forum, this is why it's the right place to find them.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 10:58:21 AM
The casino employees aren't licensed psychic doctors, so they can't decide who is mentally sick and who is OK. I'm sure that if a guy starts acting weird, they will kick him out of the casino.
I assume that some physical signs can show that someone is not mentally stable. And I pointed to the fact that can such a person be barred from gambling based on some of these clear physical signs and not a psychiatric check.

Mentally deranged or unstable persons are well known for their violent behaviors of causing harm to others, they don't work for money neither have a sense to gamble for money but this man from the op does the opposite which makes me count him as not mentally unstable but as someone suffering from a depressive condition from life's challenges that had overwhelmed him making him to care less of himself
I don't think it is all mentally unstable people that are violent. I also feel that the ability to work and gamble is not a yardstick to conclude that somebody is sound. Many emotionally unbalanced people still work and are not violent.
Not all mentally unstable people are violent, some are so gentle and they have no sense of their environment, they are trapped in an illusion, and no matter what you say to them they will never get violent, but where I am confused is how such people will need money.

I doubt they will feel the need to take risks, there is one I know here, who knows the importance of money, but he prefers to ask people for money, the sense of hustling is no more in his mind, and even no one will want to hire such people.

I think the chances of mentality unstable people going into gambling is very limited, I have never seen such people in a online casinos, if they have families they are always with them for montiroing, such people can't be left alone most times as they can do something stupid.
472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: December 24, 2023, 03:21:54 PM
So you are literally considering every other alts as shitcoins, that's where you are wrong, many people won't be here today if there is no alts, the hope and dream of making money like those who buy Bitcoin from the beginning is why many people are in crypto space, they knew that getting such ROI as those who bought Bitcoin years ago is now not very possible with Bitcoin anymore so they are looking elsewhere.

If we are to consider that all other coins except bitcoin are shitcoins, what about those that bought Ethereum at $1? I am not going to consider all other alts as shit, yes Bitcoin is the best and the safest, but the most part where I made the best money is from altcoins.

I am not afraid to take risks on alternative coins, and right now I am reaping what I deserved, taking risks makes you stronger, mine thought me how to pick the good apples from the basket of bad apples.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 24, 2023, 02:34:09 PM
Both are gambling, either online or offline it makes no difference, and I won't advice you to get addicted to any, the damage that online casinos can do to you is the same as the damage that offline casinos can do to you.

If you want to make crazy money it will take time, accept this fact of life growth, if you plan to go faster you will crash, making money will take time because it's normal, it's the right path, every fast way to make money also have big disadvantages, like getting you addicted because you believe that you can make life changing money.

If you know yourself too well you should be able to figure out if you can cope with gambling, some people get addicted to everything they came in contact with, either businesses or entertainment, such people won't do well in gambling, they will get addcited easily.

474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: December 24, 2023, 01:45:10 PM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.
Betting restrictions is not available over here and I wish it is available, there are people who don't know how to stop and their families tried to help but they couldn't, if this restriction law is here I bet they would have taken the steps, maybe it will be effective for those addicts that don't know how to stop, they know they are addicted and they want to stop too but they just can't, restriction law will be a perfect solution.

Risk management is also responsible gambling to me, there isn't a lot of difference here, if you know how to manage your money in gambling you are in your right state of mind, you are trying to be responsible and you don't want to get wrecked like other gamblers.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features of the worldview of a gambler on: December 24, 2023, 12:28:37 PM
Risk management is what many people overlooked unfortunately 🤦 and this is what is killing them, if the risks they are taking is the most minimal, they won't be affected, even if you are poor you only need to cut your clothes according to your size.

If you are poor you can still be a gambler, but make sure you are not jobless, they are both not the same, someone who still have a source of income, even if it's very thinly is better than someone who have no source of income, they can be both poor but the difference will be there.

Assuming you have a source of income but it's very little but you have interest in gambling, you need to avoid comparing yourself to friends or people that can afford to risk $50 on gambling, if $50 is your monthly income, I expect you to risk $1 on gambling in a month, yes, some people won't like this but people still place bet with $0.20 in my country and they won in sports bet.

Nothing beats cutting your clothes according to your size, if you lose the $1 it's just a small amount of your whole monthly income of $50, way better than risking when $10, you can food yourself that $10 is what you can afford to lose, but for someone who makes $50 monthly, risking $10 is too much, it's simply something you can't afford to lose, you shouldn't even try it.
476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ‘MS Drainer’ scammers used Google Ads to swipe $59M in crypto: Report on: December 22, 2023, 06:38:41 AM
Try using ads blocker on your PC, also stop using google search, they have many malicious links apart from ads, I believe that Microsoft Bing search engine is far more safer than others, there is no single link to any ads in the Bing search results.

This was why I don't like using my PC for storing crypto and also using the same PC for surfing the internet, many garbage will arise from the dept just for browsing the internet on your PC.

I recommend using uBlock or other ads blocker just in case and also get a hardware wallet instead of running a software wallet on your computer.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 21, 2023, 10:31:21 AM
That's not a good advice, it only encourages gambling addiction, don't take loan for gambling, it's a ridiculous way to become a good gambler, I use the smallest percentage of my income on gambling and I have lost it all, countless of times, if I have used a lot more I would have lost it all, gambling is not that safe and you will find out sooner enough if you think I am wrong.

Taking a loan or borrowing money is even worse, because you will be left in debt to pay up, if the money was all yours it would have been your loss anyway and you will find how to move but debt? It will affect you in folds, to get yourself will be tough because after paying up finally you still need to solve your own issue of not having anything.

I will never encourage anyone to borrow money for gambling, and to be a better gambler its good you have a job or any source of income, then make sure you use a small percentage to gamble, if anyone tells you that you will win on your first games it's very unlikely, don't compare yourself to others.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 21, 2023, 09:28:37 AM
Lesson of the day, always read terms and conditions of any platform you plan to use, either it's online banking or casinos, unless there is no deposit of money involved, if you are going to risk money on any platform its wise to do your own diligent research first.

I have never seen this happen to anyone around me before since I don't use Fiat for gambling, and right now in my country banks are really misbehaving, doing anything the feel like with customers fund and others so many people are getting wiser, moveinh money out of bank accounts into Bitcoin and stable coins, it keeps getting worse and worse.

If your account get blocked you are to reach out to tell and solve the problem out, they should be able to unlock it and accept your apology, it's not as if they will never return the money you have worked your whole life for, they just want to take their rules very serious.
479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 21, 2023, 08:46:19 AM
Newbies and beginners greatest enemy in crypto space is strangers, this is not a field where you get PM from friend of a friend who want to hire you because you have a skill that they need or something else, total strangers online are creepy as hell, don't even try giving them any attention.

From my past experiences with strangers online, they always have a plan to get the best out of use, either by scamming you or using you, some will pretend to be different but their true color will eventually be shown to you, they are literally looking for stupid people to take advantage of, since 2017 I have never seen stranger that DMed me with just pure mind and no evil plan in mind.

It's better to ignore any stranger, chance your app security settings, they won't be able to get to you unless you are the one that PM them first, strangers don't always have the best interest in mind.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Michael Jordan a gambling addict ? on: December 21, 2023, 08:01:03 AM
Anyone that is spending an amount of money that he can afford to lose on gambling, the person is not an addict.

But if someone is spending small amount of money on gambling but seeing himself not leaving gambling but prefer to just gamble and gambling taking his time, the person is an addict.

If gambling is not affecting someone financially and also not spending the time he supposed to spend on other important thing on gambling, then the person is not an addict.
Agreed, it shows how much the person understood the world of gambling, the last time I had a similar discussion with some friend, they believe that spending much time with gambling is what makes you the real gambler, and they believe that been laggy when it comes to gambling, maybe gamble twice in a week until the following week makes you a unserious gambler.

I would rather become an unserious gambler because it's the right way to go with gambling, if you really want to avoid getting addicted you need to spend most of your times with things that really matters for you and your future, because if you focus too much on gambling and you avoid all the necessary things you will end up wasting your time.

To me my time is the ultimate tool I have left in this world, I have to use it to my own advantage, once it gets passed you, there is no turning back the hands of time, it's gone for good, use it wisely.
