461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 08, 2021, 09:02:54 PM
For now the price increase of BNB is very good, until now the price has approached the price of 700 $ of course this is very extraordinary, so to invest in BNB is very good if you want to get extraordinary profits, and for the current BSC network more and more users then this will also affect the price of BNB, and the price of gas on the BSC network is very cheap when compared to the ERC-20 network then many investors are already comfortable using the BSC network now.
There is no debate that the valuation right now is extraordinary, but i do not think this is the right moment to invest in the coin, i still remember the coin trading below $20 a few months back and now everyone is talking about $1000 which is an extraordinary feat in itself, but i do believe that this is not the time to invest in them, if you already did you made a hell of a profit and plan to book your profit accordingly .
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 08, 2021, 08:44:54 PM
Just because token ABC has no statistics and XYZ has, does not mean one is better than the other. I can show you plenty of shitcoins with all kinds of high demand and "great tech" and zero utility yet they are doing well in price. Whereas some great coins OLD ones with utility like Gridcoin for years is helping actually scientific research and is not even easy to buy.
I do accept what you are talking about, there are some legit projects in the market that does not have the same hype as shitcoins in the market and hence they wont be getting the necessary eyeballs from investors and i know a few projects that have legit use case and yet the investors are neglecting them because they lack in marketing.

But i still hope that these coins will prevail the test of time and eventually their true value will be showed in the future while the pump and dump coins will eventually die off.
463  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] If this happens, is it time to sell your Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2021, 07:02:29 PM
With other bubbles in 2013 & 2017 being in December, do you sell next month no matter what happens?

Is it different this time? Will there be no bear market?
I would like to hear about your opinion regarding the market and do you usually book your profit during the rally and then get back again and do you really think that things will be different this time around because of institutional investors and other factors in play.

I am not expecting the market to rally all the time, like every time i am expecting a major rally in the next couple of months and then the correction would be inevitable. I will be booking my profit like every time i used to in the past and then wait for the correction to get back again.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the money in the world entered the cryptocurrency market? on: November 08, 2021, 04:09:46 PM
I don't think that authorities will let crypto replace traditional financial system. They may start banning withdrawing crypto, centralised exchanges, everything that they can close as they don't want to lose control over finances. Anyway, I am sure that crypto will become more and more expensive within time so earlier we start invest, the more will get in the long-term.
It is a thought process that majority of the cryptocurrency investors would like to see, more investors in the market so that they could make millions of dollars and that is where this idea stems when there will be major adoption. The fact is you cannot expect everyone to invest in the market, there are many that will burn their balance once the bear market starts looming over us and it is a natural progression  Cheesy.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 08, 2021, 03:15:41 PM
i was searching for nft games prior to stumbling here... funny thing though... you can see NFT's traces years ago and nothing major recently in bitcointalk?
They do not even have a thread here.... is there any other resource to read about the up and coming games?
The reason there is no dedicated thread for all the different aspect is because it is basically a Bitcoin forum and everything else will come under alternative boards. If you want to see the differentiation of things, check out coinmarketcap and coingecko.

I tried to connect my wallet to some of the blockchain games but then the problem was the high fees and so is the reason i did not try them. When the network fees is sorted i might try the games.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Eth flip BTC and why this is good? on: November 07, 2021, 10:56:45 PM
until now ETH is still in its choreograph and snagging BiTCOIN is impossible.... because in terms of blockchain and the amount in circulation is very different. bitcoin will probably remain number 1 in terms of value, transactions and holders in this digital world... . which may happen in the future eth will be taken by bnb's position as one of its rivals in the current network
The question everyone should be having is that whether any other project will flip Ethereum in the long run simply because everyone using the project are tired of the high transaction fees. BNB and other chains are getting popular and  i wont be surprised if users starts avoiding ETH if they do not sort out the network issues.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 07, 2021, 09:30:05 PM
There was an opening with the Chandler and Gaethje match. What was Gaethjen's uppercut in the 2nd round, Chandler did a one-shot on the leg despite the knockdown and just tried to hold on. Although Chandler proved his stamina in this match, Gaethje was the winner, it was a match I enjoyed.
Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler lived up to the reputation like everyone expected and these are the fights we want to see as main events for 5 rounds rather than 3 rounds and all the fights in the main card were great.

Rose was my favorite, this girl may be my favorite athlete in UFC. Zhang analyzed she's opponent well, we could see this easily in the match, she tried to disrupt Rose's footwork with low kicks. Rose finished off Zhang with a take down in the last round. She became the winner by the referee's decision and retained the belt.
Rose Namajunas and Weili Zhang was another great fight and Rose Namajunas is the best in the division and there is no challenger that could topple her unless there is someone that is great on the ground.

Covington held up well despite a 2nd round knockdown. Even though he made a comeback towards the middle of the 3rd round, from Usman could not take the belt. I saw that Covington shook Usman with his shot during the match, these two are a good match.
I was expecting much more activity from Colby Covington but he was careful with the way he approached the fight and it is because of the heavy hands of Kamaru Usman and he is entering the legends status with his reign in the division. I hope Khamzat Chimaev will be a good challenger for Kamaru Usman.
468  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 07, 2021, 08:27:15 PM
I saw this news yesterday and I think it's just for entertainment but as Deron Williams has some experience in wrestling when he was young, so he has some skills when it comes to fighting sports. he won't be ended like Nate Robinson who sleeps tight in the ring after taking one punch from Jake Paul.
Wrestling is a combat sports but you do not get punches, if you are getting punched for the first time you will sleep and Jake Paul is a decent boxer who could do that to anyone who is literally new to the sport. If two novice boxers are in the ring then we can say that Deron Williams will have a chance but if he is against anyone who is training for a long time then he will get hit.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 07, 2021, 02:15:49 PM
Well afganistan lost the match but it breaked heart of millions of Indians fans. It is surely one of the worst world cup for India. Being such a cricket rich country, Home of the Biggest t20 league in the world and the team has not even qualified in the semi finals. Big disappointment for India and we will see how things happen now as we will see new captain and a new coach and i hope it will bring positive changes in the side.
Loose two matches and you are out of the tournament, now i consider Pakistan as the favorites to win the tournament if they continue to perform the way they did. England lost to South Africa and New Zealand already lost and Pakistan is the only undefeated team in the tournament and the only competitive matches they have is in the semi final and in the final and England and New Zealand is also having realistic chance to win the tournament.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: November 07, 2021, 12:00:36 AM
The 10 year plan ended in February 2020 and Bitcoin was $10k at that time. The prediction was off by wide margin but still good. I never imagined in 2011 that Bitcoin would to that high, and now we're at $62,000 and still going.

I currently have some crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, etc) but nothing compares to what I'd have got from the Investment plan, or even remotely close. I lost an opportunity to become a Bitcoin billionaire!
This can be a story for everyone who started early, if i were to hold the coins i had which will be over thousand Bitcoin, i will be setting my life for good, but i sold my profit and had a great time in the mean time traveled the world and had a great time and even though i do hold majority of the coins as savings, i too lost the opportunity to make a much bigger profit like you claim .
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: November 06, 2021, 11:52:40 PM
There is no competition for Cris Cyborg in any weight division other than Amanda Nunes and i wonder what the odds would be, i really wanted to see that rematch but that is not going to happen Undecided.
Cris Cyborg moved away from the UFC, if she wanted the rematch she would have demanded against Amanda Nunes, but we never head about that, but instead she did not resign and moved to Bellator. There is a lack of talent in higher weight division and Cris Cyborg is the best of all time and the only challenge in her career was Amanda Nunes and she was clipped during a wild trade and she will not find any opponent that could trouble her ever again  Grin.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: November 06, 2021, 11:00:14 PM
I think a business with Bitcoin payments is more profitable than traditional payments, besides we benefit from our business, we also benefit from the increase in the price of Bitcoin so the profits are also many times. There may be very few companies paying with Bitcoin right now, but as time goes on, I think Bitcoin will become a paper money-like business payment in the future. Bitcoin fluctuations also cause losses if we cannot manage them, so we must be able to manage the Bitcoins that have been obtained.
If i am in a physical stores why would i use any payment method that has a fees attached to it when traditional payment system does not have any transaction charges attached. Have some logic, if i am making an online transaction i am more than happy to use cryptocurrency to safeguard my privacy and moreover i am not comfortable using my credit card when making online transaction due to security reasons.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 06, 2021, 10:39:12 PM
I love Weili's style. She walks everybody down, is not afraid to stay in the pocket, and has a fantastic killer instinct. What's interesting about Weili, is that I have never seen fear or doubt in her at any time, during any of her fights. She seems to have supreme confidence.
Rose Namajunas is a technical good fighter and she finished Weili Zhang when they first meet and i am not expecting a different result even though there is a lot of hype behind Weili Zhang because she is training under some well known coaches and may be we might see a new champion but i am expecting Rose Namajunas to be on point and avoids the take down.

Placed small bets mainly going with Rose Namajunas, Colby Covington, Alex Pereira. I want to enjoy this card as there are really good fights, so no huge bets this time.

England won't collapse intentionally just to keep their rivals Australians out of the game. They are groomed well and know the respect and laws of the nature.
You can expect these and all kind of tactics from the BCCI board only, no other board can be that shameless.
This is a fucking sport and i have seen you talking about these shit earlier, just cool down and avoid politics here.

A great game between England and South Africa. I thought about placing a bet but then let go as you never know what England would do as they have a deep batting line up. Liam Livingstone is hitting the ball a long way and Eoin Morgan is in the crease, the score is still chasable.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: November 05, 2021, 11:58:38 PM
Gaming token, play to earn and nft is presently over saturated. It is increasingly difficult to find gem in these categories! Those successful play to earn game token like axie infinity, Vulcan forge etc have done many percentage to the extent that you may not profit as much. I play axie infinity, hero's and mobox on bsc!
I missed these coins during the initial stages but now i invested in some of the promising NFT projects which are not pumped in the market even though they come up with solid art and they are planning to come up with games in the near future and lets see how it will go because i did not invest in everything and anything this time but since some of the projects rallied due to hype, i thought of investing in some projects which i think has the potential to rally irrespective of the market situation in the future.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 05, 2021, 11:03:18 PM
Barcelona new era begins.
Xavi has officially become the new coach of barcelona after the Catalan Club paid Xavi release clause of 5 million euro. Xavi also brought 7 trusted people to be his staff at Barcelona. Barcelona move is quite right to appoint Xavi as Ronald Koeman successor, it is hoped that Xavi can restore the glory of Barcelona with his tiki taka style of play.
All credits to Al Sadd management team for coming to terms with Barcelona but it is not going to be an easy task for Xavi to changes things all of a sudden, he has the experience of playing with them for most of his playing career and the management will be giving him full support to built the team from ground but i am expecting it to take a long time and we will see what he has in stores.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: November 05, 2021, 08:28:41 PM
~
I hope OP hasn't sold everything, but I'd love to verify it's true as well.
In the case of cryptocurrencies, only practice is not enough, but it is true, that with experience is coming intuition.
In my opinion, this is not the end of the bull run and we can wait for at least few more weeks with the sale.
Even if the OP sold all of his assets , it is his choice to do so. You need to be lucky as well to get into a project and expect that the team would perform well like they promised initially before collecting your money, so that you will get the desired profit like you are expecting while investing. Suppose the bull run will be here for another couple of months, if the project you invested is not performing well even with hyping them, then you wont be reaping the benefit even during a bull run.

The Pakistani fans went up in arms after India defeated Afghanistan with such a huge margin. A lot of people were accusing in Twitter that the match was fixed so that India could get a good advantage in NRR. Now these cries will get louder if Afghanistan manages to defeat New Zealand by a good margin. Given the NRR calculations, a win with small margin for Afghanistan may not be enough for India to qualify for the knockout stage. The victory margin needs to be somewhere around the 50-60 run level.
I am seeing more conspiracy theories when the T20 World Cup started which looks funny, now every other team will try and help India to qualify which is funny. The possibility of India getting qualified is really slim.

The way New Zealand is playing against Namibia is worrying as i included them in a big parlay which is should have avoided as New Zealand is struggling to score big and if it is a modest total i fear Namibia could chase them.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2021, 11:07:07 AM

Both Namibia and Afghanisthan teams are no match for the NZ team. They will easily win today's match with Namibia and the same is applicable for India too as they are playing against Scotland. I think if India needs to enter the semifinals then they need to win by a big margin in all the matches. That should give them some chance.
There is nothing to think that we will see an upset in any of the matches, the top two teams qualify and it is hard for India to get qualified unless they win by huge margin and the next two games for both New Zealand and India are not big challenges and considering Pakistan already confirmed their qualification, it is a battle between New Zealand and India to get the next spot and i believe New Zealand will be the other team and in the other group England and Australia will be teams to get qualification.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 04, 2021, 10:03:23 PM
In a country where majority of folks obsessed with a fair skin and struggling with ridiculous amount of challenges. Some Brown coolies thought that bending the knee would be a excellent idea so that they can earn some brownie points but when its comes to their own country countless societal fuckups or neighboring countries genocidal acts, they start behaving like ostrich and become some sort of spineless professionals.
I am not sure what you are referring here or implying, anyone looking at this post would say it is a racist comment. I am not with the showcase of propaganda someone thought would be nice to make a difference as these kind of gestures will not make any difference. This started in the US with their Football and Baseball players taking a knee against police brutality against black community and now we have in cricket against racism.
