I did help a friend buy some in 2014 at $600, who sold at just over $200 because he couldn't stomach the drop. Never again.
I considered recommending it in the $200s, but thought better of it. Most people will hold a hidden resentment against you if it drops, and their loss will become your burden. ... and it can be even weirder than that. Many people will also resent you if you recommend a winner and they don't buy and it goes up ... basically any time you put yourself in the situation of "i'm right, you're wrong" or "i'm wrong, you're right" and there's financial advantage involved, they will resent you ... it's lose-lose. Strangely, if you charge them exorbitant fees and call yourself a "financial adviser" all that burden goes away and you can gamble with their funds like a drunken sailor. Yeah, Friends&Family and financial advice is a VERY difficult subject. True fact. Just today my father said me that i should sell a portion, and thinking in it better i passed to explain him my expectatives lol. Yeah, and they never listen. I have some friend and gave him early last year the advice to buy some ETH with around 20% of his overall crypto investment. He did. The next day i wake up and look at my whatsapp. 5 messages from him. "Hey dude you know Ripple!? Its da shit! And do you know Lisk!? Its da shit!" Turns out he went to Polo, listened to the silly trollbox and invested all of that remaining 80% in Ripple, Lisk and some other shit. Seriously if they don't respect your advice... |

To show that your own little project is inferior, posting such a flyer wouldnt make any sense at all. You dont post stuff like that to show that you are inferior, you obv post it to argue that you are better. And you, as someone who was here one year ago, know that obv. It was part of the concerted pre ICO PR-hype. My question of getting payment wasn't meant as offense. I have seen other projects who had kind of community managers which job it is to answer questions and keep a good overall mood. Nothing wrong with that! I just got curious as you are barking away 24/7 anyone who dares to say just the slightest negative thing against Lisk or Max. Nevermind, i am not invested nor short in Lisk so, nice afternoon! Of course you will deny that, but as someone who was around one year ago i remember very lively the vibe that surrounded our little flyer here. It was posted like 100x a day with the overall attitude that Ethereum better go and hide cause now Lisk is coming. Edit: Otherwise, just to show that your own little project is inferior, posting such a flyer wouldnt make any sense at all. You dont post stuff like that to show that you are inferior, you obv post it to argue that you are better. Most of these statements to ETH last year came from users and not from the Lisk team. Some translated ARK threads have the same comparison, only added with ARK You are aware of that this little flyer was made by Max? But i am sure he never intended to be compared to Ethereum. Seriously, there comes a point where you have to accept failures. You are writing here day in day out to bark away even the slightest critic or doubt. If you need your time, no problem, but then better be an innovator that brings something completely new to the market and not something that others have done years ago. You see, when Ethereum needed years to accomplish their goal, there was no other version of this idea around. And for sure no version that dominated the market in a way that Ethereum is just now. |

Das Interessante ist ja auch die Eigendynamik die das Ganze bekommt. Man hat den Eindruck das beide Seiten (angefeuert durch Emotionen) erst Recht radikale Standpunkte einnehmen. Nur um die andere Seite noch mehr zu provozieren. Das Core dabei mit Maxwell und Luke zwei Leute an Bord hat die eine Vorgeschichte haben was Provokationen und Eskalationen angeht (Stichwort:Wikipedia zb) macht die Sache nicht besser. I just watched the most ridiculous Bitcoin COIN ETF hit piece on Bloomberg video: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2016-12-19/winklevoss-twins-prepare-first-ever-bitcoin-fundConstant pictures/ video spliced in of 'physical bitcoins' in the background (which everyone knows are collectable and not the real bitcoin, makes it look like a toy), the interviewee pointing out negative after negative, etc. Both the interviewer and the interviewee were literally laughing and scoffing at the idea of an ETF the whole time, like it was one big joke. It's like the Media has an agenda to keep Average Joe investors skeptical of Bitcoin and scared away from touching it, and especially investing in the ETF. Seemed like they were laughing more at the idea of a bitcoin ETF than at bitcoin itself. Sorry.. Ich hab jetzt wirklich einiges über die Technologie und dem geplanten Zusammenschluss von Ethereum und XY gelesen, aber ich versteh nicht wirklich warum der Preis deshalb steigt.
Im Moment geht es doch nur um die Technologie Ethereum und nicht die Cryptowährung Ethereum , oder?
Sorry.. steh gerade brutal auf dem Schlauch..
Hoffe es kann mir jemand erklären.
