Someone please send that Chinese girl for another round of exclusive interview with The Cat and get some leaks!

non-Chinese community still doesn't have an English transcript from 1st interview ...
462  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 03, 2013, 07:13:04 PM

Very easy for you to say after it did happen.
Back then everything was said to be on track and as predicted. Since FC was underpromising and overdelivering such expectations were justified.

As we learned along the way information was not spread evenly among shareholders and we could see that some investors were selling in panic. Like eb3full for example who suddenly and out of nowhere put his 3500 shares on "pay what you want, now" sale auction. Also Vycid commented something like "I know some big whales who will be dumping soon". If I remember correctly.

So in my opinion only those who were privileged to information about incoming gen2 failure could make such a short call. Or those who were betting that after successful streak friedcat will trip on something eventually.

+1 , well said sir, well said ...

I'm not sure, but in the past wasn't it announced all at the same time?
no, I believe the board members and even resellers get information before everyone else, and always have.

Board members, resellers AND China community ... so basically everybody else is before shareholders from official ASICminer thread, seems like we are on the last place in priority list. Sad.  Roll Eyes
464  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 01, 2013, 07:15:59 AM
Its November.

"We made an order of another brand of power chips which are about two weeks late. In October this will provide another 500TH/s (Gen1)."

Failed.

"ASICMINER intends to grow the franshising program at a faster pace in October, so please participate in this process if you are capable of hosting blades and looking to mitigate some of your risks in buying hardware."

Failed.

"Because we are collecting funds to get ready for the exponentially increased devices to be assembled in September and October."

Failed.

"We hope to share a good video or exhibition materials by the end of the month."

Failed.

"The board has committed to meeting even more often than we have been, and intentionally gleaning whatever info can be shared from each meeting, and posting it to public."

Failed.

Underpromise and overdeliver ?  Not anymore. Roll Eyes

BTCGARDEN have also some problems with HW ...

our ASIC miner hardware is suffering a very big BUG,here it is ...

Btw did you figure out , from where were bitcoins on that 2nd div address 14DumMEnKYtebNWJjf1VhPmxCYeBbT2V3n ? It was some old reserve fund or ? Because last transaction before div is 7 months old. Strange
466  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 31, 2013, 05:35:26 AM
But if you take into cosideration that you are getting now only 50% of possible dividends ( collecting investment funds by friedcat ) the real share price should be ~1.1 BTC so those shares at exchanges are heavily devalued right now.

I'm curious to know where you found this 50% figure? I thought nobody could tell exactly the ratio retained. Best guesses are based on following resellers paiements, are your referring to anything in particular or you just made that number up?

Sorry, I forgot to write it, it's a hypothetical figure. It could be 50% or 25% or 70%, my point is the share price which is based on dividends is undervalued right now.

Don't write shit like that. We don't even know if they're taking coins anymore.

It's hugely important and misleading. Belongs in  the speculation thread.

Exactly. Its speculation. Do some math. AM is mining in average ~3blocks per day, its 21 blocks per week, its only 525 btc from mining/week. Plus you have ~181 coins from franchises every 10days. And some 700 btc from sales of outdated gen1 hardware. And its not pure income, you need to withdraw expenses.

So at the end you have ~ 525+181+700 = 1406 , divide 400 000 shares ... and you get 0.003515

Because that I don't think that something was retained this time.

What part of:

"There hasn't been a huge hardware dividend payoff: is it because of reduced margins, or delays?

Because we are collecting funds to get ready for the exponentially increased devices to be assembled in September and October."

Don't people understand?

"Exponentially increased devices in September and October."

Ehm, where are they Huh

PR & Communications
1. The board has committed to meeting even more often than we have been, and intentionally gleaning whatever info can be shared from each meeting, and posting it to public.
2. The board will be assisting with writing these posts to make things easier for Friedcat.

The first & last update "by the Board" is from October 2nd  (almost one month old)

should we expect update soon? board? ...

reminder : also "end of October" deadlines are here.
469  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 28, 2013, 05:12:40 PM
Considering the major price drop in AM...BF should be able to 100% fund the pass-through..it was effectively a successful short sell? It is however news to me that he was running a fractional reserve for a pass through, has this been public knowledge for some time?

No. Ukyo was doing this behind the curtains and he doesn't have a right to do it. So basically he destroyed his trust/reputation in BTC community. Btw when he was investing BTC from AM shareholders shares into mining HW, good luck with that...
470  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 27, 2013, 07:14:27 PM
Thank you FC, So guys is this what we were expecting? information that we already know?

No. I mean ... OK its kinda financial report ... but ... seems like Friedcat doesn't give a shit about what we are writing in this thread anymore. In past days we had a shitload of rumors here, and also its end of October.
471  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: October 27, 2013, 04:41:17 PM
Those that invested really early and I mean extremely early, invested with much more risk.

Even with hindsight I wouldn't do a thing differently if the scenarios were exactly the same as they were at the time when the IPVO was planned and executed.

Glad to hear, that you'll be no offering shares to ANYONE (VC) under the IPO price (0.003 BTC), even when the BTC/EUR rate raise. In this way we (investors) can lock shares with peace of mind, that we're protected against fiat inflation, and it doesn't matter if we're holding directly BTC or NEOBEE shares.

Right?
472  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 25, 2013, 03:46:56 PM
Friendly reminder :

Guys, that discussion about "btc/usd vs share price" is for another thread. I see this discussion here every 10 pages ...  Roll Eyes

Also that endless screaming about movements of share price is annoying, for this we have ASICMINER Speculation Thread

+1 for long positions.
473  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 25, 2013, 01:16:00 PM
on 27th will know for sure, what is going on. so chill and enjoy cheap shares

I really hope that on 27th we'll see some serious update from Friedcat, not just bunch of numbers in financial report.
474  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 24, 2013, 09:09:33 PM
true.. hope FC can clarify this.  One thing I noticed was kind of strange about the video is that she looked like she was going to cry.  She didn't smile at all..

I hope so too, id love to see AM bounce back, also doesn't make sense to me that FC wouldn't let the forum know info like this himself, it could have helped the share price a lot. Why are we hearing this from what to me seems like a random person? Maybe FC will take notice and chime in with a confirm or deny soon, the suspense is killing me lol

the same like with "live hash rate meter" , Friedcat never announced its existence(he only said something, that they have one for internal use) but still the Chinese Community had knowledge about existence of erpao.info long before other shareholders

btw looking forward for transcript... and I should began to learn Chinese
475  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 24, 2013, 08:13:38 PM
Shouldn't Friedcat be the one to release this info first?  It doesn't seem fair that he would tell this girl first, unless they were banging or something

+1, we're also shareholders &  Grin THANK YOU! Grin  Grin  Grin
476  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 24, 2013, 05:26:08 PM
Somebody was invited to visit the AM mining datacenter & assembly factory.

Look at this: http://www.hxtop.com/html/bt03/201310242750.html

It Looks like a real factory
(sorry for stating the obvious but well compared to some other companies lol)

I was expecting something like this ... lol

Cryptocyprus and TAT, what are you working on those days? In pre-IPO stage you were much more active here. You must be very busy.
478  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 23, 2013, 06:33:26 PM

If you bought when the market priced the shares at a high price, that is your own fault (and poor market analysis) and not Bitfountain's.

The hash rate has barely increased for several months. It has been short of 10% of network goal for months. That has NOTHING to do with market analysis.

+1,   10% was minimum goal presented by ASICminer ... they fell too deep and for too long, why? competitors were able to deploy in past months, why not ASICminer?

"The business plan is unchanged. The network hashrate increase was still under our projection." - Friedcat

Really?
479  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 23, 2013, 05:53:21 PM
I leave it here :

Quote from: friedcat
The business plan is unchanged. The network hashrate increase was still under our projection.
The total hash target originally set for the end of this year would probably achieved earlier.

We made an order of another brand of power chips which are about two weeks late. In October this will provide another 500TH/s (Gen1).

ASICMINER intends to grow the franshising program at a faster pace in October, so please participate in this process if you are capable of hosting blades and looking to mitigate some of your risks in buying hardware.

There hasn't been a huge hardware dividend payoff: is it because of reduced margins, or delays?
Because we are collecting funds to get ready for the exponentially increased devices to be assembled in September and October.

Friedcat has last week till promised deadline.
480  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 20, 2013, 06:08:32 PM
What's the status of the 500 TH of product?

+1

Also I don't want to be rude or something, but why is ASICminer doing everything else beside mining? Exchange? Payment system? Cooling? ASICminer didn't mine any block in last 22hours...

Anyway thanks for update, we're happy for each piece of information.
