Stop doing my idea! throwing a few heatsinks attached to a box and putting a micro controller in displaying false information on a little screen!

show us what is in them little boxes, where the coolant and power lines go in, lets see the chipsets!

now going at the speeds the fans are going:
Fan speed rpm: 350-1000 (+-10%)
22db is about right at about 1 meter away, and they have to be over the 140mm mark too..

Blows my mind that people still run Blizzards & Furys....you guys are truly old skool.
I will never forget the days of tweaking cgminer and learning how all this stuff works...defo fun times

mine popped when a usb psu went bang, it wasn't even plugged into the hub, it was in another port on the pc, which also took a punch too (usb3 chip and half of the usb2 ports, sound and network copped it too)

but yes, it was fun setting them up, just as fun as setting up the usb block eruptors for the 1st time.

it would be fun to get a hold of one of them to play with again, i wanted to oc the bajebuz out of it

Hello there, my name is jerry and im a proffesional trader and gambler for 10 years. I mostly play dice and i manage to win 73.31 % of the times even if the odds are only 50% using my super inverse martingale strategy.

There is no min or max invest, you can invest whatever you want, you might say this is a scam but think about it, there are 2 possible outcomes: either you get your money back or you dont, that my friends is a 50/50% chance of winning or loosing, better than most casinos

Yes jerry and if your win rate 73.31% = mean your strategy works and you will be rich by now.
But now you here and ask investment in this forum, do i miss something here ?
im just trying to help people with my knowledge experience and honesty

First, we dont know who are you and you use newbie acc to ask investment here => bad decision.
Second, 99.9% reply post here will say this is scam.
Third, Nobody will believe this.
And last ... its time to close this shop, nobody will invest dont waste your time.

No hard feeling but i told this before some big boy come and give you -rep because of this.

i like the smell of this: " either you get your money back or you dont " so i put 1btc in, and under your rules and dice throws of 73.31% i get that 1btc back on a "50/50" chance, none of this 1337% over 13,37(lolwut, that 13 or 37 days, or 1,337 days?) days, cant fault you for being L33T on this aye?

You either understand it or not man 50/50 choose your destiny

well i think i won! my 1btc never left my wallet!

hi,

i wonder if anybody can help me

is the power-supply-socket of the blizzard capable for a notebook-psu with 5,5*2,5mm Plug?

Thank you

its 12vdc that it requires, if you plug a 19v powerpack from a laptop in, things will go pop.
if you are brave enough to do some wiring and use a computers psu, splice the old powerpacks jack into the 12v rail on a psu, centre pin should be +ive
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: February 17, 2015, 12:22:49 PM
Tryed but not working, one usb port seems to be broken
3.10v between black-yellow
3.25v between black-red

black and red is fine at +/-5%

if yellow is data, that i'd say is fine at that voltage if it is moving data, but you cant see anything on uart?

i am assuming you are on linux and you have "cat /dev/ttyUSB0"  for an output

i got 2 zues blizzards i wanna get rid of  they have been modified with gridseed fans so the run quiter and cooler

asking .15  btc shipped to usa

like 10 dollars each and shipping

good deal

pics? also cost for shipping to Australia?

i also think this is in the wrong section, Alternate cryptocurrencies marketplace

I sell Scrypt gear in this section all the time.  That section is usually spam and people selling altcoins to each other.

after reading that, i just realised i half arsed up that sentence, add: ".. would maybe the better place for it." at the end of that.

yeah, i agree its like wading though sewers, it does need a little more effort in the section there, like bitcoins marketplace, separate them items to relevant sections

Well I think just to wire with serial to OUT:
https://i.imgur.com/XOlcIDT.jpg
I have some external usb-rs232 converter for test

i would of guessed that was for a fan, but looking closely at it im assuming red is power, black is ground and yellow is TX for the out side?
as for the "IN" side the same applies, but yellow is TX?

get a multimeter on the black and red, it should be 3.3v, check ground to the yellow, should see 0 to 1.3v?

so one should be able to go:       -> TX -> In/RX ->
                                         USB -> RX -> out/TX -> Board
                                                -> Earth -> black ->

Hello. My zeus miner thunder x3 (4 plates 128 chips) has stopped working time ago. I need some advice how to repair it. I think that there is some problem with usb microcontroller mounted on main plate, other doesn't have this cp2102. Miner works and show speed but don't accept shares and controller is not recognized in windows device manager. Is there is some standalone usb uart controller which I can test to work on this plate?
Thank you.

hmm, i cant say for sure if you could just slap a uart usb controller to the boards, but if you look at the pin outs of the cp2102, there is tx and rx pins to the chipsets, that would be where you wire up the external controller.. if you're good at soldering 1mm or less targets, you should be right.

come to think of it, looking at some google images, i think i can see a 4/5 by 2 pin header on the other side of the board, maybe you can use that? could be a test header.

lemme look into it a little more...
