61  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Making my own miner on: February 04, 2016, 03:10:01 AM
This question has been asked several times on here, do a little searching to find the answer..

Its basically a hard game to play, you need:

The gems themselves, the ASICS, with all required documentation. (you could always start by ripping some older generation ASICs off a dead miner)
electronics engineering skills (got 4 years of university education?)
programming skills (C, C++, what ever is needed to make the microcontroller to talk to both host and ASIC)
PCB Manufacturing tools (you need more then copper clad and etching tank)

so what do you have?

If I was in your shoes, I'd look into reviving dead miners, or get a few U3s, rip the old micro off, and get, say, a Teensy to talk to the chips, try and make it more stable.

Aint it funny that the negative feedback I gave you suddenly is gone from your account.... probably you are the one shilling working with the hacker and moderator. Just a very funny coincedence that all your negative feedbacks just gone.
You are the scammer and bad for the whole community. I feel sorry for Bitcointalk that people like you are around.

I think your paranoia is getting worse, consider seeing a doctor.

Back on topic, have you received your miners last week as you were adamant you would? A tracking number at least?

Exactly! Lets see some real evidence on this hardware

I've been having power issues with the laptop the stick is attached to, I keep forgetting to reset the system.. only 4 days down..

Well the rules allow you to fire it back up and be eligible if we get lucky.

oh I fully accept if i cant get it running and we hit a block in the mean time i don't get my cut, just gotta get my arse into gear to get it back up and running.
at least you still have my donations running, so that increases the chance by 0.5%

it's been covered recently, but remember they're home made with care and they linked to be tinkered with Smiley

Try another port/computer just in case
And make sure USB power saving is disabled

Alright so I got to give it a try at home with my voltmeter.
It was set at 0.7V. I had the same error message on this PC. It looks like it did hash very briefly, but received an error before it could complete.
I tried changing the voltage in a few increments down to 0.55V and then back up to 0.8V, but had the same result regardless. I've set it back to 0.7v for now.
Here is a photo of what i'm getting..
http://imgur.com/agqC9qf

I have tried unplugging and plugging back in multiple times, different ports, also tried uninstalling entirely from the system and then reinstalling with Zadig. No change.

Did you download and add the missing zlib1.dll to the modified cgminer?

Yes I had to do this to get the program running. Also i know what you mean about the R47 chip...it looks worse in that photo I have to say, but perhaps it is defective. Anyone have luck with returning to bit coin ware?

That thing look fine..

I would try adding
Code:
 --suggest-diff 25
.. in the cgminer commands, see if that allows it to start hashing, the 512 may be to much for the stick to work on within the 10 seconds

How did they get my e-mail ?
You do not know what proof I have send and the only thing you do is bullying. I did send a sigend meassage, but he could not use the BTC adress since I have never posted my BTC adress...
But he got all my info re. correspondance with other forum members, forum members know my company e-mail adress and could send it to him as proof.... Stil do not get other people right to hack other peoples accounts just because they dislike what ever is said...

Of course I don't know what you sent, that's why I asked. So you don't have a known address and can't recover the account. That doesn't make everybody else guilty.

Why do you think "they" got your e-mail? Your password was changed, not reset via e-mail. Maybe you got keylogged, or brute forced, or perhaps you're just making up this whole conspiracy.

https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php

It dosent matter what you think as long as I can proof that im the owner of Xircom and has always been Xircom. Why dodnt you just look back and see the posts from other members who knows me privately… they know me and my identity. Why the hell are you not just looking at my posts in ex. Selling mining gear or my talk about breakoutboards or reviews of SP20 or even pics of my SP20 farm. You just so not want to acknowledge that I'm am who I claim to be

So you're Xircom huh? you lost your account on the 23rd yes? and after that you signed up for Xircom2 on the 24th.

So, do you claim all posts on here as Xircom? Therefore you are Shilling for YM? and being the Shitlord who thinks unfavourably to any hobbyists miners and bitcoin enthusiasts because you invested 10s of thousands into hardware?

Or are you going to say "No that was Beliza who did that!"?
68  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 28, 2016, 01:55:45 AM
A:  BTCT seclogs don't record password changes past certain dates(hold 1 month of records), it could of happened over a month back..

I checked archives as far back as September, no password changes for Xircom.

https://archive.is/http://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php

Yep, went though all the snapshots in that list, nothing other then the one presented.
69  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 28, 2016, 12:53:26 AM
So what am I missing here? Is it that Xircom is a hacked account, and what was written here by Xircom is false?
or is the hack after that fact?

"Xircom" account hasn't posted anything since the password change. The shilling in this thread was done by the real "Xircom", not by the "hacker".

https://archive.is/hOiXx#selection-2989.0-2996.0
https://archive.is/G8Uix#selection-501.1-505.34

yep, just double checked this, the logged password was changed on January 23, 2016, 12:05:27 PM, last Post from Xircom was January 22, 2016, 07:19:01 PM

There is no other logs in there with password changes Before the suspected "hack".

So..
A:  BTCT seclogs don't record password changes past certain dates(hold 1 month of records), it could of happened over a month back..
B: Xircom2 be lying about getting hacked.. worst case: could be a hacker themselves trying to pull some "Social Engineering" to hack the real Xircom? unlikely, probably just Xircom trying to cover up some mistakes..

or C: gotta live with the fact that there are asholes on here, that push my buttons
70  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS/WTT) (9x) GAWMiner Fury/ZeusMiner Blizzard on: January 25, 2016, 02:38:03 AM
So, what are you looking for off them?
if you want a price off me, i'd say AU$15 each, or AU$135 the lot, so about 0.24btc.
since you haven't mentioned where you are, cant say on postage, I would like to say none, but hey, pack 'em tight, shouldn't be any more then AU$25-30 to get to me.

so 0.3BTC?

if not, tell me a better price
71  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 25, 2016, 02:11:59 AM
As i can see @beliza hacked his account and sold it to yesminers, fucking great! Check his trust!

Why is it so fucking great that my account got hacked ?
Just because you disagree with the things I say, dosent give you the right to hack my account.

You are right.Every member must be able to announce her/his opinions. If we will begin to hack each other just to bully, this indicated the maturity of our forum members.

Thanks, it just shows how unmature some forum users are. But it still dosent help me to get my account back from this @beliza who hacked me.

sent you some pm's with links on how to (supposedly) i assume you checked your spam email etc ..when an account pswd is changed i 'assume' they send you  a notice of such..perhaps that would help with proof

also set a 'secret password' like a 'childhood friend' etc (hell i just checked i did ..but damn'd if i remember doing it) Smiley

anyway all i have good luck let us know how it works out

(by the by....xircom2 sent me an email not a PM on this ..if that is any help.....so supposedly if it was not hacked they would not know my email..in that it was if i remember right a reply from my email to his email..thus ..he had to shoot me his email first..not vice versa...ie the spammer would know know it hacking his bitcointalk account)

again...assuming is it not the same bloke...but if it is not the same bloke and he had my email .i would 'suspect' some havoc on my toss away email account...so just saying..

lots of work to make up a story (or at least in my world seems to complicated to not be a hack)

but hell I belived BFL at one time..what do I know...but the above is outside of bitcointalk figured it was worth tossing it in the mix here for consideration of xircom's bona fides etc

irregardless of what you think by all means SET YOUR SECRET PASSWORD it has to help I'd think?

for what it is worth

Searing

So what am I missing here? Is it that Xircom is a hacked account, and what was written here by Xircom is false?
or is the hack after that fact?

73  Other / MultiBit / Re: treat me as a newbie for this, idk but, question about HD and the UI on: January 22, 2016, 01:11:24 AM
Its all good, I just wanted a better way to store my BTC, but have it on multiple systems too (for easier access). I'm just used to the old style of 1 address = your wallet = your security..

I'll just have to keep classic going for a "pay to" target, as a seller of items, receiver of coin, aka merchant (when applicable), one cant just "request" payments off every customer.

Yeah, the *.wallet file is a classic thing, just had to play with the HD to see it isn't in there, blockchain.info site has multibit as one of the external manager for their wallet they give you.

I understand the concept better now, thank you, just as long as multibit HD doesn't lose any address information (hence losing coins) over computer issues (crashed on writing data to disk, so data gets corrupted, etc..), just in case of tat happening, multiple instances of the one wallet will be run on different systems, so I should be right..
..Also backups Wink

the hardware wallet idea does intrigue me, I may have to get a Trezor one day..
Also, the automated payments to the devs, I have not one little problem with that, they had that clear at the start of getting the software, if I didn't like it I would of moved on by now. its just like you getting 30 second ads at the start of an online video, they have to pay for their services too.

74  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 21, 2016, 11:01:15 PM

Sorry, cant take you serious, you are just a nob-player in the BTC world. Did I preorder Zeusminers for +20k $ in 2014, yes I did (Delivered). Did I preorder MAT miners for 30k $ yes I did (Delivered), did i preorder Spondoolies SP20e for 20k $, yes I did and funny thing delivered as well.
So you can shout what ever you want piss ant and stop shout until you are able to play with the bigger players....6BTC...come on!
I will still believe in people until its proven its a scam and yes, then i probably lost some money, but hey, this is the game in BTC world.
By the way, it was not a different opinion that wanted me to kick him, but false accusations about my person...... freaking huge difference.

Watch out, Shitlord here dont talk to no plebs

yep, non-player, hence the obtaining and losing 6btc... thing you big big guy with many moneys so little people mean nothing to you? do you own your own business and treat their employees with no respect? listen Shitlord, without people living off tips every day that work to make you that coffee at starbucks every morning, where would you be? making your own coffee, eh?

Want me to be on the same level as you with BTC/Cash? hand some over so we can talk, Shitlord. whats this, don't want to lose like real people?
maybe you're going to now with Yesminer, sucks to be you.

so you bought zeus miners, a company that showed its hardware to people when they requested it, gave samples to the reviewers, and sold previous hardware.

So you bought from Mining ASIC Technologies, that one was sus as hell, buy they got a small number of units, showed their hardware, got some out, still many more that didn't get hardware. (you probably bought up all their stock, left the small people that bought 1 or 2 in the dust)

So you bought Spondoolie Techs SP20e, a company that showed its hardware to people when they requested it, gave samples to the reviewers, and sold previous hardware.

none of that mean Nothing, tell me your investments that you have LOST in. what? cant do that? to much of a Shitlord? don't want to talk to no plebs?

your previous dealings still do hold account for the people you gave money to, still with their refuesal to give reviewers a miner to look at, and no hardware for them to show, it doesn't hold water here.
75  Other / MultiBit / Re: treat me as a newbie for this, idk but, question about HD and the UI on: January 21, 2016, 12:42:32 AM
correct.

Fare enough, if the Devs say upgrade, and you want to still use their software, you do as they ask, best way for security that they can implement.

Click the "request" button under "payment" (the actual words might differ, doing this from memory)

yep, I see it, it also changes address each time..

You cant import keys, so you cant have a vanity address with Multibit HD at all. Address reuse is bad practice, so it is not encouraged with HD either. You can however safe the first address you get and reuse it.
so tip jars are bad practice? mining target addresses are bad practice? here I thought bad security (simple passwords/phrases) was the bad practice.
even if I uses multi addresses that all run off one key, if that key was "Password", its not 1 address compromised, its all of them. Please prove me wrong.

I understand the concept to "spread you BTC over different addresses", but I don't see how using the same key to several addresses makes any difference to security.
Also, cant import keys? how you Blockchain.info to *.wallet then? is that not "importing" a key?

If its such a big deal stay with classic. It still gets crucial updates.

um, did not the author want to drop classic? if not, why HD then? why not continue with classic? what am I missing here?
76  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BM1384 Pod Miner plus trade-in/recycling - an interest and feasibility poll on: January 21, 2016, 12:13:30 AM
That was a paragraph. Or you want me to break everything into single lines like Phil does?

I thought about posting a picture. But then I decided not to because my camera was in one room, the pod was in another, I was in a third and I kinda wanted to go home instead. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

Pod's running pretty good now. I have it at the house. The buck chip is staying cool, I'm seeing 149GH (of 154 expected) and 0.04% errors after 4 hours. I'll crank it up to 400MHz here in a bit and see what it does. 400MHz is just a hair shy of an S1 worth of hash, off about one fourth the power of an S1 and in a lot less space.

A: slightly drunk, made reading 10x harder..
A2: I'm used to 2-5 sentences per chunk of text, aka paragraph (you had 13 odd), it just me, I'll continue to do my trick, Ctrl+C Ctrl+V count the periods and return on the 3rd one...
III: You lazy son of a.. I know, it'll have very little change since the 1 lot of photos, maybe less wires for external control?
Quattro: I can see these be a nice replacement for them N-RM! or even 2 of 'em to replace the Avalon Modual3 I have cooking out 270GH/s, oh yeah!

anyway, I'll keep my eye on Bitfury for any info on when they sell them chips, and continue to hound them..
77  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 20, 2016, 11:51:20 PM

**CUT wall of useless text with nothing to do with dogie or j4bberwock**

Are you fucking real. Dogie and J4bberwock is able to confirm that this is me and has always been like that. Is it possible to have people kicked out of the forum for making false accusations ?
I really would like to have you kicked right now.

Here is a pic of my latest wire transfer:

oooo, look at that, proof you gave people money, still no proof that they are not a scam or have any form of hardware..

so you're in the mentality to remove someone that has a different opinion to you? what are you? a SJW special snowflake? need your "safe space" on the internets? want a tissue for your daddy issue?

just to let you know, i lost 6BTC over a simple scam, i was given dates and times on when my product was delivered, etc. etc.
you dont just throw money down with someone who has "lol, preorder now, get your hardware when we make it, pay more get bonus!!"
if you ever had your eyes in the other "companies" that attempted to sell hardware, you'd know that you have lost out big time. these guys, like BFL can just "sorry, we cant give you hardware, brb, Hawaii!"

ty for your answer i'm growing !

ok . some currency have his cripto algorightm .

BTC and LTC they are not a cryptonight algo ?

if it's Yes
can i use my Gekko for  Bitcoin, Litecoin?
BTC
stratum+tcp://btc.pool.minergate.com:3335
LTC
stratum+tcp://ltc.pool.minergate.com:3336

At MinerGate !

Ty again for your support!

It's look like i learning a new language .

SHA256 only, so basically bitcoin only, there are some other SHA256 coinage out there, but they may or may not be worth it (here is an old list, some may not be active anymore: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482002.0)
79  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: January 20, 2016, 02:41:20 PM
Hi all !

i'm new ( and french so sorry for my bad english ).

I start with cpu and gpu mining program MinerGate. They use cryptonight  .

I bought GekkoScience Compac BM1384.
I download  cgminer-gekko-win32
working very well at pool BitcoinCZ

At minerGate
They said we can use alternative program like ccminer

ex: ccminer -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://mro.pool.minergate.com:45560 -u YOUR_EMAIL -p x

It (cgminer-gekko-win32) dont know -a cryptonight and i think it's important ( lol )

My question is here .

Can i use cgminer-gekko-win32 for cryptonight at MinerGate.

Tank you for your help !  Huh

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/CryptoNight its a different computational cryptography for mining, so it is unsuitable for the SHA256 processing cores in the ASIC. looks like cryptonight is designed for CPUs with 2MB of L2 cache and random number generator.

ccminer is a different program to cgminer, also the "-a" switch is for algorithm change.

So basically, No, you cannot use the BM1384 ASIC for other algorithms.
80  Other / MultiBit / treat me as a newbie for this, idk but, question about HD and the UI on: January 19, 2016, 03:26:39 AM
So, you wanted to drop the "Classic" for HD eh? with not a real easy path to "upgrade".. so following this "upgrade" path requires me to basically create a new wallet with HD and dump all coins from the "Classic" to it..

simple question, where the hell do you see the new wallet address in HD? I've clicked and flipped windows and boxes within this program to find a proper Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V to add in a "send to" address for classic.

since HD rotates addresses, looks like this makes it had to maintain a single public address/vanity address?

..and yes, I'm one of them "why change? whats wrong with Classic?" trying to change over.. I don't want to go down that path in here, there is already enough about it, just be happy that I'm willing to move over..
