4681  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LuxBets.io Promoting by luxel on: May 04, 2019, 01:30:22 PM
Do not buy from me, my account is hacked and used by someone else. I will sort out what happend and do not contact this email/skype: Jwh.0155@gmail.Com

That isn't me and will probably scam you!!!!!!

@hugeblack, nice find.  But isn't that the weirdest thing?  How did that post even get made?  Both the hacker and the original owner had access to the account at the same time?  What kind of hacker doesn't change the password on the account that he just hacked?

4682  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: local bitcoins for bitcoins job on: May 03, 2019, 08:37:45 PM
Awe, that's so cute.  I love it when two scammers newbies offer to scam help each other.
4683  Other / Meta / Re: Someone please clear these things... on: May 03, 2019, 07:38:51 PM
Case #1:
Yesterday I made a reply to a post, the post which I replied was 3 sentences long and today when I checked that thread again that post is now very big.
But the thing I noticed that the poster hasn't edited the post, no edit info there. So I would like to know how is it possible or it's a bug or I'm missing out something?

A new post that is edited within the first 10 minutes after it's posted will not show anything in the edit history.

Case #2:
A few days ago 2 of my posts got decreased from my total post count. I thought that 2 of the topics where I posted got deleted by a mod.
But the next day I noticed my total posts is back to what it was. So what actually may have happened with my post count? Is it a bug or something else?

I don't know what happened there.  Maybe a thread got deleted, then reinstated?  I don't know.
4684  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corruption in The White House. on: May 03, 2019, 05:10:41 PM
I guess it is political degradation of the system. Unfortunately when in election if you get two bad choices then you have only two option i) choose any one of the bad choice ii) Do not take part in election

I think a option like "none of these" is needed so that politician get the correct feedback.

There's always the option to write-in the name of your own choice.  I wrote Ron Paul's name on many ballots.  Not that it would have made a difference, but it's not capitulating to the pressure of choosing the lessor of the two evils.

4685  Other / Meta / Re: What is the meaning of this Warning? Has it been applied recently? on: May 03, 2019, 04:54:27 PM
That warning is also displayed on the Long Term Lending sub-board.

Not to derail the thread, but did you get a PM from luxel?  I ask because he spammed me in my PM box also.
4686  Other / Meta / Re: account lock again part 2. Theymos see pls here!!!! Need help on: May 03, 2019, 03:53:06 PM
Topic may close, account unlock

Welcome back, I'm glad things worked out for you.

A mod can lock this topic, but so can you.  Log in with your alt, the link to lock the topic can be found on the lower left hand side of the page.
4687  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT members can now to be hold liable for their negative feedback on: May 03, 2019, 03:28:41 PM
leaving a negative rating in itself is calling the person a scammer. Read the description of a negative rating on a trust page.

Quote from: Trust Page
Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer.

The negative trust setting leaves it open for users to express their belief.

Thule's behavior has been libelous, which is a form of scam.  His attempt to defame suchmoon is clear as day.  He presented no evidence suchmoon scammed the mystery newbie, yet continued to treat the accusation as if it was a slam dunk, open and shut case.  I believe he did it out of retribution.

None of the reviews suggest that Thule attempted an out-right scam, but are expressing the opinion that Thule is untrustworthy, with which I totally agree.

You're wrong.  In a defamation suit the burden of proof is on the plaintiff to prove the statements made are provably false and resulted in damages by the defendant.  Forum members giving their opinion about another member are protected under the First Amendment, because they are just expressing their opinion.

Thats is wrong. It depends on the jurisdiction where the DT member lives. In Canada as example you don't need to proof anything.
Also proofing that you didn't scammed anyone or even tried to scam anyone wouldn't be difficult where even these DT members confirmed they made the negative feedbacks not for scamming.

Giving an opinon is protected by law and free speach correct. But marking a member as scammer is no free speach anymore expecially not when its being displayed on every of his thread.
Marking has nothing to do with free speach

None of your reviews claim that you scammed, or tried to scam.  They express the opinion of the reviewer, that you are an unhinged internet troll, which (in their opinion) makes you untrustworthy.  None of that is defamatory because it cannot be proven false.

But claiming suchmoon scammed another member is defamatory; because it was an obvious lie intended to damage the reputation of suchmoon.  Do you see the difference?
4689  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT members can now to be hold liable for their negative feedback on: May 03, 2019, 02:36:01 PM
Defamation calling someone a scammer with no full proof can soon break some DT members their neck even they gave the negative feedback based on their opinion for some other bs.DT members won't be treated as regular members by law.

You're wrong.  In a defamation suit the burden of proof is on the plaintiff to prove the statements made are provably false and resulted in damages by the defendant.  Forum members giving their opinion about another member are protected under the First Amendment, because they are just expressing their opinion.

Now if you want to talk about defamation; here's a prime example.

3. A defamatory statement must be false -- otherwise it's not considered damaging. Even terribly mean or disparaging things are not defamatory if the shoe fits. Most opinions don't count as defamation because they can't be proved to be objectively false. For instance, when a reviewer says, "That was the worst book I've read all year," she's not defaming the author, because the statement can't be proven to be false.
4690  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CNN trying to manufacture consent backfires hilariously! on: May 03, 2019, 02:15:00 PM
People on the Internet aren't fooled. The video has a 30% approval rating (that is to say 70% dislikes) and most of the comments are people who understand what's happening.

How can a media outlet think they can get away with such blatant lies in this day and age?  CNN is nothing but Jeff Zucker's propaganda stream.  Any one who takes their "news" stories as factually accurate is a fool, and I think that pool of fools is not-so-slowly getting drained.
4691  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: local bitcoins for bitcoins job on: May 03, 2019, 03:44:17 AM

i have a very big reputable account so we will get loads of offers

https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/rosewood/ this is the link to my account

if interested please contact me

 telegram @blackpanther255
 jabber  @cashoutpp.@jabber.ccc.de

Your account indicates you've traded 100-250 BTC, so it seems odd you don't have money to supply more trades.  Did you purchase this account?

Regardless; it look like you're asking for a loan, not offering to exchange currency.  Maybe this should be in the lending board.

Localbitcoins.com will not send to a segwit address that starts with bc1 (bech32.)

You can create a legacy wallet in Electrum (not segwit,) and you'll be able to send to that address.  From there you can send the funds again to your segwit wallet.  I've never used Wasabi wallet, but I imagine it has an option to do the same.
4694  Economy / Reputation / Re: End of drama "The-One-Above-All" is the alt of "cryptohunter" on: May 02, 2019, 08:40:32 PM
Perhaps one-above-all/CH should have a seastead built for him off the coast of Thailand. He can have it fitted with an iron throne and have a custom made diadem. Then when the Thailand Navy comes to visit, he can then proclaim, "We are not amused."

He can write text-wall emails to theymos The King of Thailand ranting about how the DT Thai Housing Oligarchy and Merit Seasteading Mafia are abusing their Power.
4695  Economy / Reputation / Re: End of drama "The-One-Above-All" is the alt of "cryptohunter" on: May 02, 2019, 05:56:47 PM
These are alt accounts, make no mistake about it--and there are probably more

There's no question in my mind that Troll Uber Alles is cryptohunter, but I doubt Thule and cryptohunter are the same person.

I'm anxious to see which one of them starts trolling with this account.
4696  Economy / Reputation / Re: End of drama "The-One-Above-All" is the alt of "cryptohunter" on: May 02, 2019, 05:23:04 PM
BRING 1 SPECIFIC EXAMPLE and demonstrate it in public is TROLLING.

You are too dumb for words.  Here's your one specific example, posted right there in the same post where you ask for one specific example.  For numerous specific examples, go through your post history; 99.99% of all your posts are public demonstrations of trolling, in public.
4697  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is staying out of debt, legitimacy? on: May 02, 2019, 05:00:09 PM
For a group of people who claim to be experts in finding scammers (based on how many tags they hand out), you are all very bad at articulating why someone looks untrustworthy. My opinion is that Marco looked somewhat suspicious and a bunch of people decided to tag him, and some more decided to pile on.

Taking out many loans is not necessarily suspicious. Being late (even 2 times) isn’t a big deal so long as the lender is duly compensated. If someone has 2 late payments on their credit report, both showing the payment 30 days late, they will probably not be ineligible for a “prime” loans — that is a loan on the most favorable terms a bank would offer.

My review of marco is pretty clear.  The two late payments (and at least one more since) aren't why I left him a negative review, it was because of the way he handled himself afterwords.  His lack of accountability, concern, and humility is what made me feel obligated to label him as untrustworthy.  The fact that he later started asking for much bigger loans didn't help his situation.  Being late on two payments isn't a big deal, in my opinion.  Everyone runs into hard times.  But there are other factors to marco's story which contributed to my skepticism.

I'm not counting marco out, I don't think he's beyond the point of having all of his red trust removed.  I'm hopeful the gift from jackg will help him get his financial situation turned around, and he'll be able to honor his pledge to pass on Jack's generosity.

I will not forget to pass on your generosity. Thank you Jack, enormously.

Could you present some of this trolling you tire of? We wish to examine it in public.

Lol, it's been plastered on the walls of the Meta and Reputation sections for months, but here's a link:

4699  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda using red trust as a weapon to silence those differ from her politically on: May 02, 2019, 02:49:36 PM
Lauda is a leftist?  I don't believe I know what her political views are.  But if she's indeed a leftist and inclined to red-tag folks with opposing points of view, she missed me and quite a few other conservatives around here.  I've never hidden my political beliefs, and they clearly lay right of center.

The comment left in review is unambiguous, and doesn't seem to support your claim that it's political retaliation.  The reference link points to a thread that shows her review is accurate.

You can argue that the review is undeserved, or tagging folks for bumping ANN threads is frivolous, or your bumping posts aren't spam, or any other rational argument.  But suggesting she's retaliating against you for your political beliefs, then presenting no evidence to support your claim only serves to undermine your credibility.

4700  Economy / Reputation / Re: olcaytu2005 is scammer? Let's talk. on: May 01, 2019, 09:01:37 PM
You are talking about just shit.

You're the one plastered all that shit on the trust walls of reputable forum members.  Now defend it, if you can.

Oh..
Just got an email from butcointalk saying my post is deleted from scammers thread. It clearly prove that you are a scammer or trying to hide.
