481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: July 05, 2018, 12:52:43 PM
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?

Since Bitcoin is going down and down everyday then I would think that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin as the number one coin and also there is EOS that is also capable of that for replacing ethereum.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fake binance pump? on: July 05, 2018, 12:17:43 PM
Every other time we see a coin get pumped badly on binance, recently being the case of sys coin. My question is, Should we take part in such pumps ? How much risks it involves? How long should we hold that coin?

We should not try to get in with that kind of involvement since we are not sure that it will continue and we can be stuck inside it after it dumps. It's hard for us to lose all of our investments.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Security issues relating to Private Keys storage on: July 05, 2018, 11:41:05 AM
To my hypothesis, there are a lot of crypto enthusiasts who are fond of keeping their private keys, Keystore / JSON File, seed words, mnemonic phrases etc to their wallet on cloud storage platforms like google drive and the several others. From my little research and experience, I personally think to keep these sensitive data isn't the best due to its nature of proneness to unauthorized accesses.

I'm positive there are individuals in this forum with profound knowledge regarding this topic. We would be grateful if you share with us your experience, tips, advice and most importantly, secured ways and means we can manage our private keys.

Thank You!

For me, you just have to secure your computer if you really put all of your KEYS or anything important to any of those software. But I really like keeping those in a piece of paper.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Bitcoin changed your life for the better? (Those who bought <2017) on: July 05, 2018, 11:29:25 AM
In BTC around 2016. For me, it has given me a big step toward financial freedom. Frankly, if I could make do with a lower quality of life, I would already have enough for a few lifetimes. This is the biggest wealth transfer of our generation.

Bought everything I ever wanted  and can support my family very well. Grateful for all of this. This is not a show off thread but rather to share the positivity in a real way as there is too much negativity. 🙏🏻

Yep, it really changed my life and I have also made myself quit my job for this to focus more on crypto and trading. I got all my thanks for crypto it really helped me for everything financially in life.
485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite exchange? on: July 04, 2018, 11:40:51 AM
There are many exchanges out there. Which one do you use and why?
Thanks!

If you want to find out what is the best exchange there is then you should try to pick for the one who is the number one of them all, but their would be a problem since it is the number one then hackers will try to hack that exchange.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Someone help us understand the economics of Margin trading, lending and .. on: July 04, 2018, 11:30:45 AM
Hello guys,

I would like to learn about the economics of Margin trading, need for the lending platform ( like Bitfinex & Poloniex ) and liquidation.
First the working of all this plus I have some specific questions.

  • 1. Is lending platform really important for Margin trading? How are they related?
  • 2. In crypto world, if a margin is given for say BTC example 3x of your BTC. How do exchanges handle liquidation?
  • 3. Is there a time restriction anywhere? to give back the BTC?
  • 4. Difference between Margin and leverage trading?

Even if you can point me to some good articles that summarize the working that would be great.

Firstly, you would not try to go into margin trading if you still don't know anything about trading and its basics. It is still best just to trade a normal trading style.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC payment only? on: July 04, 2018, 11:19:16 AM
As of now I know that BTC is more on Payment. In the future will we utilize a Smart Contract-like?

I think Bitcoin will lack on the thing about a payment system since the prices moves a lot everyday. But we can always find a good and different coin for that kind of role.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: July 03, 2018, 11:12:03 AM
As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?

Of course people want their money that they invested in. And I think it is the right thing to do since majority of the coins dumps after it hits any exchanges.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: the rise in world crude oil does affect the virtual currency on: July 03, 2018, 10:55:36 AM
world crude oil prices fell about 2 percent as US crude oil prices touched the lowest level in nearly two months. It broke below the technical level as investors continued to sell amid growing US production, due to possible global supply growth and trade tensions.

Brent crude futures fell $ 1.50 a barrel, or 2 percent, to settle at $ 75.29 a barrel. US crude prices ended down $ 1.06, or 1.6 percent, at $ 64.75 a barrel, after earlier touching $ 64.57, the lowest since April 10.
whether the consequences will impact to mature virtual money?

Maybe people tend to buy more crypto because they have a lot of savings from oils for their cars. But I'm not so sure about that. As long as crypto is going well, then I support it.
490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When the price drops Do not panic, It will only make things worse on: July 03, 2018, 10:35:35 AM
If you panic and sell your bitcoin, it will only make the market worse and the bitcoin price will go down. So when bitcoin prices are down don't panic and don't go sell your bitcoin. Although it does not have much impact on bitcoin, at least if you do not panic and do not sell Bitcoin, the price will not continue to drop. What do you think ?

If the price drops then I would try to cut my losses and not wait for something to go back. I just have to buy in again if things went okay and bullish. That is the proper way of trading it.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin to HODL for 3x this year ? on: July 02, 2018, 10:15:17 AM
Which coin has the huge potential to give 3x return at the end of this year ?

Most of the coins are good to hold for longterm. You can just pick one of them thatt have a good background and project behind it. It would likely to go up anyway.
492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading style on: July 02, 2018, 09:57:30 AM
I intend to reform my trading method.
Firstly, I would choose 25 coins with real development background and value fell deep. I will buy 5 coins in 25 coins and sell them to the target that I put. I do not care if the market changes like that. When one of the five types of coins touches the target, I choose one of the 19 coins and consider it to be low to buy.
Repeat until 25 coins have been selected for profit
What do you think about this method?
Discuss and share with others your method

I'm glad that you have your own strategy in trading. I really hope that it works with you well. We have to work on our own strategies for us to have a good trading style.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Good business is a business that begins, not questioned continuously on: July 02, 2018, 09:31:28 AM
Many people in this world are always questioning this, what is a good business? Well, good business is a business that begins, rather than being questioned because the hard thing in doing business is to walk to the first ladder. If we do not start a single step, we will never get to the top. Just as with trading, or investing in cryptocurrency, without trying and starting investing in it, you will not know how much profit you get, and how much experience you will receive if the market is down. Remember that experience is the best teacher.

For me, a good business is the business that I have worked hard for it and my passion for doing it. People nowadays tries many businesses that doesn't quite work out for them.
494  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 dollar before the end of the year? on: July 02, 2018, 09:17:26 AM
Many participants of Cryptocurrency market who could read chart predict that the price of bitcoin will reach 100,000 dollar before the end of the year. What is your opinion? Are u positive or negative to this opinion?

You are just making an absurd prediction there my friend. It is obviously that you got in the crypto community just to make a ton of money and not in for the technology.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no demand but the Alts Do! on: July 01, 2018, 10:53:14 AM
Since the 2 pumps the price of Bitcoin has gone sideways: NO DEMAND
Alts have increased in price!
Logic says Bitcoin is going down unless another whale pumps!

Even though people want to buy those altcoins. They will still go in for Bitcoin to have them. It is simply that Bitcoin is the number one coin that everyone needs in order to have another altcoin.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is so positive (100% HODL) on: July 01, 2018, 09:59:56 AM

Do you see it? I won't predict price action in this topic, but the one thing I'm pretty sure because of it: at least I will HOLD. A lot of positive things is happening right now and we are not so far from the deep. 5k? 4k? Doesn't matter. Market reversal is a question of few weeks. And we'll see a new global multi-year uptrend, guys. Still bullish on crypto.  Cool

If you like my post, press +merit. Thanks

Would still be early for conclusions. We may see the prices to go down and still needs a lot of news to make the prices of Bitcoin come up again. I really hope so that this is the start of a new trend.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange got bigger on: July 01, 2018, 09:19:59 AM
I've read an article in the internet that cryptocurrency exchange is growing in number. As of now the number of exchange is already about 500 and counting. Other countries are now creating their very own exchange, does this means that cryptocurrencies is being acknowledged better now than ever before? And if it does, does having more exchange could greatly affect the prices of cryptocurrencies?

No, some of the exchange are used just to hacked other people or just a way to make money. We should always try to acknowledge those exchanges that are commonly used by everyone.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: June 30, 2018, 08:22:58 AM
Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect

HODLING is for the coin the you have bought at the tip and not for what you bought at the top. It is more wiser to cut your losses before it can go lower than that.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: ROI biggest opportunity - BTC / ALT? on: June 30, 2018, 08:15:37 AM
At this time when Bitcoin and crypto tethers on the bring of bull run or a
Recovery from its languishing around $6k should we be concentrating
more on BTC rather than ALT's?

If most people are here for the medium to long term outlook isnt is BTC
which will provide the biggest ROI?

I would try to invest on both Bitcoin and altcoin. That is what can make yourself more safer to invest in those cryptos. Of course you have to have a good entry point in every way.
500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop dreaming about the perfect trade on: June 28, 2018, 04:20:28 PM
Many traders are obsessed with the perfect trade, perfect technical indicators. Trading is the field of non-existent "perfect" words. You can have a very detailed plan, but finally be surprised by a crazy market situation, like a cold water droplets in the face.

Instead of trying to reach the perfect trade, change yourself to the market. Average predicted of you about market, average with another trader ( why not? ). You should accept fewer profit but you will lose less. You should sell sooner and buy later than your prediction. follow the market, because the market will not follow you.

Yep, most people have to stop that kind of mindset and just try to find a good trade often and their trade is going down then they should let go of that trade and start over again.
