822  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 02:21:28 PM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry

Just remember that the current price of Bitcoin today is way higher than the price of it last year. So what do you want us to explain? IT IS STILL GOOD!
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 52 Million BTC shorts since the open of the US marked today on: March 13, 2018, 04:14:00 PM
Crazy already:
52 Million dollars opened in BTC shorts since the open of the US market today.

Well, people are really bearish nowadays, but bad time for them if Bitcoin is going to rally.
824  Economy / Economics / Re: Know your limits! on: March 13, 2018, 03:44:49 PM
I hope you are doing alright.

So I'm writing this thread especially for me to get it all out but I hope it will reach to some other people who will find it valued.
For the last few years, I got serious about economics and crypto itself, I guess it's my passion. I find everything about money, economics, technologies, companies, crypto and many more very interesting. So I decided to try my luck, to go for this. I acquired a ton of knowledge, I followed the leading personalities in the economics (not necessarily crypto) and learned as much as I can. I spent months of reading because I really enjoyed it. Eventually, no regrets. So what I am trying to say is that I told my self to get into crypto as part of investments and then move to the stocks exchange but crypto as a start. My mistake? I convinced my father to hand my few thousands to invest into cryptocurrencies, and honestly, I wasn't wrong; my actions were.
The problem is the huge need for immediate satisfaction so I couldn't really HODL I guess and lost almost all of this.

What I am trying to say over here. That, those investments are based on a lot of speculation and knowledge but not only.
Sometimes no matter how a product is good, the team is doing great and everything is perfect. Sometimes the market itself isn't perfect.
So I'm trying to tell you KNOW YOUR LIMITS. Why so? Due to the high volatility (10% up, 10% down), I got addicted to this and all I wanted is to make 2x. I felt it was so close to me (to be honest if I wouldn't touch my money and just HODL almost no matter at what coin I would at least 3x). So I changed from a coin to a coin was looking for the closest pump, for instant profit I wanted it so hard without noticing I am losing very slowly.

The economy is a very complicated thing, I kept watching multiple long videos about the economy to look what I missed.
I am just a small letter in the whole bible, so I guess it doesn't matter. People believe they are different, but usually, they are not.
Plan a strategy and more than all, be patient and do not let emotions or urges get into your actions. Investments could be very nice but sometimes risky and harmful. Cryptocurrency, for example, brought the good thing, made every single person from his bathroom to invest and become a millionaire; that's a huge great thing but if you don't follow the basic rules it can be fatal.

In conclusion, don't put yourself above other traders or investors. Don't fall into the deep water. Actions should be taken very carefully and after a long smart thinking. I wish you the best! Wink

Yes my friend, that is true. Sometimes we need to follow the rules and guidelines in order for us not to cry at the end. It is always important to have discipline in every aspects.
825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: March 13, 2018, 01:39:25 PM
If I did a kind of investing like this, it will be a big problem for me in the future. So I will surely take the measures first before investing.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little terminology advice on "regulation" FUD on: March 13, 2018, 01:00:12 PM
Good day to you all good people,

I noticed that each time when a word "regulation" & stem "crypto" appear in the media together, a FUD starts to spread all over the crypto community.
While that sometimes purely amuses me, as I like behavioral sciences and I like to observe the behavior of the masses, this is actually very harmful to the crypto society and I simply cannot believe that the majority of the people still haven't gotten on top of this.

I can agree that the word "regulation" seems threatening as we all know what was the purpose of invention of Blockchain and Bitcoin - to fight against the current way the money is being created and distributed, and this basically means fighting the banking system, so each time a "regulation" comes up most of the people assume the worst - the Governments and bankers have finally found a way to stop it for (their) good.

However, there is quite a difference between:
a) regulation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation;
b) prohibition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prohibition_(disambiguation).

Please notice how in the title of this news article you have a word "regulate" and then "legalize" deliberately put in the parenthesizes to explain that the regulation means quite the opposite from prohibition in this case (and most of the cases):
https://www.ccn.com/thailand-law-regulate-legalize-cryptocurrency-ico-markets-coming-april/

Finally, it doesn't make any sense to cry over:
a) poor security of crypto trading and
b) regulation
at the same time.

Best regards

People does not know that our crypto community needs regulation in order to prevent some of the money laundering and also for protecting the investors. Many people will start to invest because it is now secured.
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralization of banking through cryptocurrency? on: March 13, 2018, 11:25:29 AM
Base on the speculation of other members here in the forum that in the near future banks all over the world will adapt the system of cryptocurrency and it will eventually centralized all banking transaction in one with the cryptocurrency or the digital currency. In that period of time digital currency is not like an asset or investment anymore. Its price will be stabilized and it could be use all over the world where comfort of traveling just to use the digital currency as a form of payment. However, it is the news nowadays has the opposite of their speculation since there are countries banning already the use of cryptocurrency. In your point of view, Will it happen to centralized money all over the world through the use of cryptocurrency? Or it will just pass and nothing will ever change in our system of banking. Or do you have any speculation with cryptocurrency? I need to justify the speculation's probability.

I believe that everybody shall adapt crypto currencies in the future. Those of the country's that have ban them will eventually feel that they are being left out and then will join the community.
828  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 12, 2018, 09:06:13 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!

For me, the reason for that is being not patient with the market. Sometimes to need to wait for the market to go down before entering, all of that because of being FOMOd or something, wait for it to go down and see if it is a good time to buy.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Richest profession or hobby in the future of bitcoin? on: March 12, 2018, 07:15:01 PM
Rumors that Binance has been hacked spread that morning after social media users reported seeing their balances at the exchange drained, sold at market rates and converted to viacoin. However, the exchange said its platform was not breached.
 https://www.coindesk.com/funds-safe-binance-denies-crypto-hack-rumors/

Mt. Gox Incident
https://blockonomi.com/mt-gox-hack/
and many more list of bitcoin heists in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0

With these data that I have posted in here. I think the richest profession or hobby in the future of crypto is hacking. What do you think?

No doubt that the hackers are the richest people in the globe. Even crypto or blockchain wasn't been here, they were all rich.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price recovered quickly even after Coincheck was hacked on: March 12, 2018, 04:15:37 PM
Coincheck, one of the biggest names in Japan's cryptoindustry got hacked a few months ago because of carelessness. This event could have sent bitcoin to it's lowest value this year. Coincheck did not announce what happened right away. Before the press release of what happened, the value of bitcoin dropped to around $10,400. However, after the press release of the incident, bitcoin made a quick recovery back to around $11,000. What factors made it possible for the bitcoin value's rebound? Because I really can't say it's the media. The news should have scared other bitcoin owners and could have sold them. But the unexpected happened. Can you enlighten me on this one? Was it because there were people who still invested in bitcoin despite the incident, ignoring the risk? Thanks!

Maybe people are just tired of having all of those FUDs. And by just not caring at all. They know that the price will still go up anyway.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [RUMORS] MANNY PACQUIAO WILL SUPPORT BITCOIN AND WILL HAVE HIS OWN TOKEN on: March 12, 2018, 03:40:58 PM
I just read it today but I dont know if it is true, but what can you say about it ? Is it a good idea?

832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can individuals make arbitrage? on: March 12, 2018, 03:15:03 PM
Hello,

As far as I know, an arbitrage is a two-dimensional transaction that increases the number of coins on each exchange without having to transfer money.

For example,

Assuming that both A and B exchanges have BTC and ETH of 1 BTC and 12 ETH, respectively, with a total of 2 BTC + 24 ETH,

At any moment

A exchange 1BTC = 12ETH

B Exchange 1BTC = 13 ETH

We sell 12 ETHs on A exchange and buy 1BTC to become 2BTC total.
I buy 1 BTC at B exchange and purchase 13 ETH to become 25 ETH total.

The result is 2BTC + 24ETH and 2BTC + 25ETH.

There are blind spots here,

1. Because the bots will soon disappear, premiums must be traded quickly and individuals can not trade on their own. (4 ~ 5% of transactions, even within a few seconds, actually 3% profit due to time difference)

2. A few foreign exchange accounts (Korea, Japan, etc.) must be opened in advance, and coins must be deposited in a number of cases.

3. Mental problems, volume problems, troubles of using OTP, etc.

as you know
I already use this arbitrage to bite the difference.

The only way people can eat is to use things like reminders.

There are several alerting services in telegrams such as @cryptomarketalert_bot and @panicwatch.
It's also on Twitter and the website.

However, I am wondering how much I can really profit from the blind spots I wrote above.
I guess that there are a lot of bots for arbitrages so I'm not sure if individuals can make it.

If you have a good idea, I want to share it.

Wow! I never thought that it was possible and indeed it is a useful technique to earn in quick profits! I will try that sometimes and will hope to have a better results on my tradings.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Elevator down and stairs up for BTC? on: March 12, 2018, 02:56:47 PM
I loved Dec. but now the bear cycle came down on us so fast like an elevator. So what does that mean for the near future are we taking the slower stairs back up for BTC?

I'm glad we had double-digit growth couple days ago, but now it's like so slow and not just busting through $9-$10k.. what the heck BTC.

What are your thoughts, elevator down and stairs up or not?

It is just a healthy correction for a young year, we need to be patient. All things are planned and it will go to the moon.
834  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ximply trading -learn how to trade on: March 11, 2018, 05:59:19 AM

835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 09, 2018, 04:26:12 PM
Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. That is why Bitcoin among all Habetahale to spread the knowledge of the second day will increase the demand for Bitcoin.

People really needs to find a job as a source of income and to help the economy of the country as well.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: Working smart vs working hard on: March 09, 2018, 02:25:02 PM
Many people say that you should work hard if you want to succeed in life and rise to riches. I'd rather say that working hard will only make your boss richer, not yourself. On the other hand, there is an age-old adage which says that you should be working smarter, not harder. But working smarter is a vague idea, and I'm interested to hear what people have to say on this topic. As far as I'm concerned, I think that working smart comes down to creating environment where you will have more chances to meet Lady Luck smiling at you, where you will be able to hit a lucky strike because luck plays an ever-important role in our lives. For example, if you want to find a date to have a romantic relationship with or you are looking for a one-night stand only, you will go to a beach or a bar since your chances are higher there, right? The same approach seems to be applicable to work as well. In other words, stick around the places where your chances of success are the highest.

So share your opinions here, guys. What is your practical take on working smart?

I always tried to combine both aspects in order to have a good outcome. Working hard so as working smart is a better combination.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / If you want to be successful in trading.. on: March 08, 2018, 04:57:26 PM
I have seen a tip from somewhere that in order for you to be become successful always in your trading, you have to to a sniper rather than a machine gunner.. If you trade always see all opportunity, every indicator, every momentum, etc. before starting to trade. Don't be hasty to trade every signal day. You just have to find that one trade that can bring you good profits and not painful losses.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: March 08, 2018, 03:51:45 PM
Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

(EDIT: These are NOT my beliefs, at least not necessarily, is just a list to think. Is not the list by Robert K. either.)

Well, as we can see, that is his beliefs. Just see your own beliefs, and if it works for you then continue on doing it. Don't let anyone question yourself for your own beliefs and success.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: March 08, 2018, 03:15:34 PM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

I don't mind by hacking, I am most afraid of is that if our country will ban Bitcoin for good. I hope not.
840  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for freelance, part- or full-time Crypto Researcher on: March 08, 2018, 02:26:43 PM
Hello!

We are looking for freelance, part-time or full-time researchers who would research blogs and newspages, ICO Listing sites, ad networks etc. and contact them about the rates for advertisement, sponsorship etc and fill our clients databases with those details. Other tasks would be submitting our clients ICOs to those pages and following up with their contact team.

We are looking also for native researchers to build databases of native blogs, news pages etc. in the crypto space. For example native Japanese freelancers to contact Japanese Crypto-related pages etc.

Since we do not have any credibility in this forum we would of course agree to use escrow services or do prepayments with reputable members.

We are looking forward to your messages!

Thank You

Please PM me if there is any other information and the salary. And I hope there's a tutorial about all the things I would do. I will do it without any rest days and full time. Thanks.
