We shouldn't talk about it at all because big whales may see it as they are still many small fry traders that are in the market and they don't want them that everyone will win.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Update on: December 10, 2018, 03:07:58 PM
How do you like the news about the imminent update of the air? Will it help Eth to strengthen its position?

It is very nice since I have invested a lot on Ethereum because I see it as so cheap right now and I couldn't imagine if it would come back to it's peak and $1,000 levels.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earnings on exchanges on: December 10, 2018, 03:02:23 PM
Hello everyone how do you think it is possible to make money on the exchangers local bitcoin because all have different percentages and rates?
 Lips sealed

That would really depend on how you make time to do it there. You could also try arbitraging, but it would take a lot of time.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I stop thinking about Cryptocurrency so much on: December 10, 2018, 02:57:50 PM
I didn't think about Cryptocurrency as much last year, but now that the prices have dropped so much I think about it more often to the point that it has become the most frequent subject on my mind and I'd rather stop thinking about it so much.

That is the problem of most investors right now. Especially for those people who are in here and doesn't have a job. They don't have anything to think to but this and it will drive them crazy.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is the leader of the blockchain? on: December 09, 2018, 02:21:24 PM
The Chinese authorities have invested about $6 billion in the development of the blockchain this year. Does this mean that China will become a leader in this area? Will the projects of Chinese companies increase in price or remain at the same level?

Even though China has a lot of money to put inside crypto it is still not enough for them to control and take it since the blockchain technology is worldwide.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holiday Crisis on: December 09, 2018, 01:57:59 PM
I've been seeing bitcoin suffered from holidays a lot and there is a proper explanation on this, since yearly it always happen.

First of all since December - January are the most anticipated holiday of all months the moment we hit BER months crypto are more likely to suffer since most of the traders are converting their assets into fiat which only leads to a massive fall of crypto, no matter whats upcoming event is or any news regarding cryptocurrencies it always seems to fall in the 4th Quarter of the year specially on December, it cannot be prevented so as a holder it is better to let go of your assets before the fall happens September and October are the best month to start analyzing the price.

If you convert or sold your crypto into fiat you're contributing in the massive fall but if you don't you'll lose the price you currently have so what else can you do.

It has nothing to do with the Holidays for this crisis for crypto. This is all about the things that happened inside the market.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: December 09, 2018, 12:44:14 PM
This dump was triggered by the battle of the hashes. If we remove bch and bsv from having any value it would discourage more pointless bitcoin dilution, and prevent further hash wars.

Failure to act will cause more similar situations in the future

If there is a coin that would surpass Bitcoin then why should we try to not to? There would always be some other ways to collaborate with those two and in fact they are both digital.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "What will ACTIVATE the next BULL RUN?" - CZ Binance on: December 08, 2018, 11:30:10 AM
Our CEO at www.elrond.com once said: "Ignore the noise, think bigger, plan long term" - so regardless of current market sentiments good projects ought to focus on the tech we must deliver - focusing on the BULL RUN too much just distracts teams from achieving their goal.

In regards to the tech I'm talking about - Check out this thread and see what I mean: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4430681

Thoughts?

Bull run would come if people will stop expecting it to happen and when people will start to give up. There is a good time for whales to start it.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recognize correct trading signals? on: December 08, 2018, 10:45:48 AM
Hi all,

Do you have any strategy how to recognize signals when market changes from bear to bull? I earned now some extra btc coins by selling on higher price and  buying at lower. But i am weak to see when market is changing to grow. Usually i buy in not correct time and after while positive grow is turned back to fall. But how to know when the signal for grow is the correct one? I tried to use indicators but there is huge number of false signals and this did not help me anyway.

Well, it is not that bad to find a good signals for your trades, but I guess it is more convenient to find a good strategy for your trading.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 08, 2018, 10:30:06 AM
All times are good to enter the cryptocurrency market. - Tim Draper
Do you agree with this guy? All I know is Mr. Draper is a billionaire, huge bitcoin bull and a venture capitalist.
I kinda agree with him when I look at the bitcoin inform of investment vehicle for long-term, not just hit and run kind of investment.
What y'all got to say about this?

No, I don't agree with him. Even at the other financial institute there would be always a good entry and good exit. Obviously, maybe he does not know what he was saying.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some "whales" preparing for selling operations? on: December 08, 2018, 10:24:16 AM
As we may know, aside some few huge wallets, there is no more real activity around bitcoin (around 10 million$ / day, to be compared with total capitalization)

I've read here that some of these huge accounts that have been silent during monthes/years have split their assets into several smaller accounts

What lead me to conclude that Bitcoin won't recover, main reason being that I know noone still believing in it. Nobody to "invest" in apart from those almost religious about it (there is obviously a bias reading a bitcoin forum compared to real life : 10 millions$/day shifts says that too)

Imagine what will happen when of of this sells, only 1 account may represent the amount of 1 month usual activity in bitcoin market!!

My opinion : Bitcoin is just out of date, too old to compete for beeing a currency, what it was desigend for (remember, this was not meant to be a speculative asset)
But it showed the way. Blockchain has lots of good ideas

They have obviously started that "selling operation" awhile back ago when everything was at the top, and now they are preparing for a buying one.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top-10 situation on: December 05, 2018, 09:34:46 PM
Friends, how do you like the situation in the Altcoin top? What do you think about Ripple, which coins will be top 10 and what changes in the top 100 are waiting for us in 2019 in your opinion?

There will be some other altcoin also that would lead if there is going to be another bull run, but everyone really hopes that Bitcoin will lead it first.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 05, 2018, 09:12:18 PM
Which is more crucial HODL or Short Trading ?

Both of them can be risky. It is how to do them that can make a good out of. It is all about the strategy and proper feelings to use for it.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in Saudi Arabia? on: December 04, 2018, 01:12:38 PM
Hi,

does anybody know an easy way to get some bitcoins in saudi arabia?

I offer hosting services to arabic speaking people and the only way to pay for them are phonecalls with extreme fees.
Bitcoins would be perfect if they could get some...

Thanks.

Isn't is banned there? If it isn't then it's good since I would know some people actually buy some Bitcoin from all over the world.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/USD update 12/3/2018 on: December 03, 2018, 01:56:15 PM

so overall , i am still bearish on btc. but i am trying to look for every possible chance to trade this market , be it short or long.!

looking at the 4hr chart, btc is creating lower-highs and higher-lows. and right now setting between a support trend (green), and a resistance trend ( red dotted).
the down trend is just a minor one, breaking it will take us to test 4467 area, breaking the green support trend line is a free ticket to rekt city for the bulls.

anyhow a long story short.  the green lines/trend lines are support area. the reds are Resistance. and you know the drill.

for me I am looking for these 2 options to trade.

1 > breaking the green support line to go short and target the lower support lines
2 > breaking 4700$ up to go long because that could be an easy trip to 5.4k to 5.5k.

this is just a zoom in the overall bearish prospective that can be found here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5071613.msg48030883#msg48030883

Nice. But I am kinda neutral for Bitcoin's move right now since it may start to go up someday because it really had a rough down through.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets see the good sides when bitcoin continues to crash on: December 03, 2018, 01:33:15 PM
currently there is no space for development and reform, all cryptoindexes and exchanges are corrupt as shit and there is no way to put them into a good direction,

when the crashes continue the markets will develop ears and attention to sustainable reform and position itself better like they currently completely arent,

then we will have ressources available we currently simple dont have.

this is why i feel great whenever i read again that the price has crushed down again.

i knew it will happen month ago and i said that with very good reasons and i started building an alternative, and we will continue going into that direction and everything will continue to get better

regards

The good side now is we can buy at the really cheapest level of Bitcoin. I just know that it will go up anytime soon now.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: December 03, 2018, 12:30:14 PM
There seems to be a new wave of ICOs coming up again. The crypto market also appears to be getting ready for a bull run.
I am wondering if buying some decent ICOs will be wise at this point.
Will be glad if those who are knowledgeable of past market cycles can advice me on this.

I appreciate all reasoned contributions

Depends on you. Just know where you should invest and makes sure that it won't turn into a scam project in the future.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who remembers these coins? on: December 02, 2018, 02:18:44 PM
Anyone remeber AndroidTokens and Netcoin? So much promise but nothing ever evn came out of it.🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't remember any of these coins at all. Maybe they were hyped and forgotten after they got pumped. And people will always forget about it when they already took their money from it.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom is in !! on: December 02, 2018, 01:37:11 PM
It has been a hell of a drop in last 14 days... The question we are all wondering is where will be the bottom, and whether this has already been a bottom...
I want to show you my top 3 scenarios, which I believe are most probable.

Atm I still believe we are on scenario A. ... yes price went lower, but unless we break 3600, and drop down to 200 weekly moving avg, which is atm at around 3150, i still believe we are in A...

I really hope so. After that I would make a long position and wait until Bitcoin retraces again to go down. But I hope that it will have nothing to do with it now.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A change for our financial systems on: December 02, 2018, 01:26:28 PM
In the last fifty years we have seen the following changes in our financial systems:
The removal of the Gold Standard - Gold Standard was monetary system that directly links a currency’s value to that of gold. In 1971 the U.S. completely severed the link between gold and the dollar. The U.S. now has a fiat money system, meaning the dollar’s value is not linked to any specific asset. Fractional Lending – this is a banking system in which only a fraction of bank deposits are backed by actual cash on hand and are available for withdrawal. Eg: if you deposit $1000 into your bank account the bank will hold $100 and loan out $900 which goes out into circulation and back into a different bank, this time $90 is held by the new bank and $810 is lent out and the cycle continues, making money out of thin air. Smiley

This is why cryptocurrency is so popular, your money is truly your money. Millennials! They don’t think like us - Millennials are the most tech savvy generation and are already thinking about a cashless future according to Forbes magazine –they are putting their money where their thumbs are. The millennials are a part of a different 1%, who’ve not only heard of bitcoin, but are buying, selling, and trading it on their smart phones and laptops. What’s more, some millennials are using bitcoin as the basis for their long-term savings. They refuse to be stuck in our world. Smiley

Changing it in an instant way isn't that possible, there will be some kind of practices before they could start implementing a new technology for our financial system.
