30K is achieved...again.
I will be more excited at above yearly high of 31.67K, I promise.

31.67K? At what exchange? I thought we used Bitstamp as a reference around here.

It hit $31818 at Stamp on July 12.

Confirmed by math and science?

First Mover Asia: What Will It Take to Get Bitcoin to $30K?

30k soon.

Perhaps a tweet from apple that they are going to invest in Bitcoin or a tweet from Elon something about tesla acquiring more bitcoin as its long-term investment portfolio or may be some unexpected scenario. The crypto market is full of excitement and news so anything positive about bitcoin.

Perhaps would-be influencers will continue to use Twitter (or X or whatever you want to call it now) to try to manipulate the Twittards but I don't think the people who really make the market move care much about that crap. They won't base their decisions on some silly "social media" nonsense.

They'll continue to accumulate bitcoins by carefully manipulating the market with exchange trades while doing their real business OTC.

im loaded on pain meds from a back fusion.. and just as i recall when i was addicted to opioids many many decades ago, that pain relief can come with an unholy cost. glad i (just barely) beat it then. hope to beat it again and be off the opioids in a few more days.

Have you tried cannabis to augment or replace the opioids? If you administer it rectally it bypasses the liver and you don't get high. I take massive doses daily to ease my COPD. I use refined weed oil with equal parts THC and CBD buffered with cacao butter. That would probably work well for pain relief but maybe more THC would be better.

Of course you can always add more moderate doses orally or by inhalation if you want to get blasted. Sometimes dissociative analgesia helps.

Get well soon.

No ketchup ever. Fresh tomatoes avacado oil chopped onions fresh basil far better taste and far less sugar. I grow basil
I buy vidalia onions
I buy avocado oil.

I chop then fry the onions with the basil.

I use the sauce machine to sauce the tomatoes.

I put it all in a very large pot cook for 2 hours.

then I use mason jars.

I also prefer tomato sauce over ketchup. No added sugar, no vinegar.

Also Heinz ketchup is the worst. I know people who worked for Heinz and heard horror stories about rotten moldy tomatoes by the truckload being dumped into the ketchup. Enough sugar and vinegar hide the rot.

My biggest complaint about your recipe is the use of Vidalia onions. Vidalias are wimpy flavorless onions better suited to salads or slicing to put on burgers or sandwiches. For cooking you want a strong yellow onion like a Bradford, preferably longer and narrower rather than shorter and rounder... something that will really bring tears to your eyes. Much more flavor.

I agree that Roma tomatoes are the best for cooking (and most other purposes).

[... nonsensical mutterings ...]

Why are you here, you stupid sod?

The same reason as for all internet trolls: attention seeking.

Getting sick from all those woke, anti-white, transgenders, political correctness bullshit these days.

Jezus.. Disney really wants to go bankrupt even after $900 million mega flops.

What's next; Mel Gibson playing Martin Luther King, Morgan Freeman as Nicola Tesla.

I don't care if they're fake. It still pisses me off.

We're back above $30k.

We've been above $30K for a month now.

It's starting to look like we may actually be above $31k to stay.

Regardless, we got a new AYH today.

Go Bitcoin go.

It's been like Groundhog Day movie for the last 2 weeks. It's just boring.

You think Groundhog Day movie is boring?

Not as boring as any Star Wars movie.

well when i saw the original star wars in the theater back in the 70s it was pretty rockin. the rest of the series, along with that reissue they did of the original with more effects did stink though.

I also saw the original in the theater when it first came out. I thought it was childish.

I appreciate good realistic science fiction but it reminded me more of a fairy tale, all action and drama but not much science.

I find it fitting that Disney has taken over the franchise. What's next? LGBT Han Solo and Princess Leia of color?

I realize I'm in the minority and millions worldwide think it rocks, To each their own. There's no accounting for taste.

I'm contemplating asking making a plea to theymos to turn off merits for the WO thread. Yay or nay?

Nay. I find merit whores amusing.

If anything, figure out a way to ban any linking to Twitter. That's what's really annoying.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 09, 2023, 11:35:02 PM

Fucking merit sluts.
And even more annoying,
It was from Twatter.

Some think re-posting
Crap from social media
Is merit worthy.

Instead of posting
Anything original,
They just cut and paste.

did you watch the blue jays at the game?

Yes, on Saturday... season tickets.

They lied though. They said they would have the Skydome roof closed but when we got to the park it was open. The humidex (discomfort rating) was 38c (100f), uncomfortably hot. What's the point in having a roof if they won't use it when it's most needed? Remember, the first domed stadium, the Astrodome wasn't built to keep the rain out. It was to keep the heat out.

On Sunday we sold our tickets at a nice profit, stayed home and watched the game on TV in air-conditioned comfort. Drank Guinness for a quarter of the cost of the Budweiser at the ballpark.

Lost both games to a crappy last-place team though due to poor bullpen management. Sigh.

I'm still killing my
Canada Day hangover.
Made another marg.

Still suffering from
Too much sun at the ballpark.
Should have stayed at home,

And spent less on beer,
Stubhubbed our tickets and watched
The game on TV.

Made a good profit
Selling our seats on Stubhub
Staying home today.

Dammit!  It seems like something bad is brewing at Twitter as well.  I'm being coerced to sign up in order to view the content but I've only ever wanted to be a passive listener; guess I'm done with Twitter now too (for the second time).  Oh well, it happened before; I guess I should have expected it.

Fuck Twitter.

I learned my lesson about signing up with any antisocial media websites after I got talked into joining "this cool website called Facebook" long before most people had heard of it.

As soon as I signed up and logged in I immediately thought "What is this? A CIA data mining scam?" Of course it was, even when it was mostly Harvard students.

I considered all the others that followed to be the same.
