Good Morning Bitcoinland. Sideways 'r' us... currently $47580USD/$60209CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Ho hum. More coffee or back to bed? Thats not a FIAT, it's an ABARTH. (at least the logo)
Ugh. Right you are. Search lied to me and I picked it cause it was the most photogenic. since abarth was bought by fiat in 1971, you were not really wrong. dirty fiat is dirty fiat. I see what you did there. "Dirty Fiat" was the reason I merited Richy in the first place. Fiat 500. You add the adjective.

Good afternoon Bitcoinland. Still bouncing sideways $48431USD/$61331CAD (Bitcoinaverage). The battle for $50k wont be over until we pass $60k. Go Bitcoin go. Same old inaccurate BS by a uninformed FUDster with a vested interest in the status quo: “Bitcoin mining mostly takes place in Asian economies (65% in China) where the electricity supply is from coal and other fossil fuels,” he said. “We can therefore calculate that bitcoin mining produces around 55 million metric tons of CO2 [carbon dioxide] a year, equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of Finland and more than the emissions of countries such as Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
“Bitcoin has therefore added CO2 emissions equivalent to the annual output of a medium-sized advanced economy. And as the bitcoin price rallies, so the mining activity will intensify, producing even higher levels of CO2 emissions.
“It is difficult to think of any other human activity that is simultaneously quite so pointless and quite so damaging to the planet.” I thought that China's Bitcoin miners' reliance on cheap hydroelectric power was the reason most are located in western China (with many building their own dams) and the reason for a seasonal hashing dip with the dry season. Oh noes. It's all those nasty hydroelectric emissions! That one's complete crap. Now can we move on to drugs, money laundering, kiddie porn and terrorism please?

It's about time. Flirting with falling out of the top 20 was getting annoying.

I'm sure your new private lake will give you years of enjoyment (is the pic from there?).
Yep. Here are the only man-made things on the whole property: It'll be our own private nature preserve. Someone else can save the tropical rain forests. We'll save the eastern forest–boreal transition forest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_forest%E2%80%93boreal_transitionEdit: Actually we're already saving the rain forest. We have a hectare of pristine old-growth rain forest in the Maya jungle. No plans to build on it.

I'm selling almost every day (DCA) to pay for our lake.
We started with regular cars, then lambos, now ranches and lakes...soon whole building blocks and/or villages, then islands, maybe asteroids, planets, stars, etc For me, Bitcoin has "bought" me the most important thing in the universe: time, and the peace of mind that I can survive and do anything I ever wanted to do, without having to work for it. My life is already full, no need for Lambos or lakes. I own two wonderful houses, one in the city, another in the countryside, right next to a beautiful beach. My car is 6 years old and in pristine condition. Frankly, sometimes I'm trying to think of what to buy, but I'm out of ideas... tl;dr: The most important thing that Bitcoin can buy, is TIME! The time one needs to do the things that really matter (and these are almost never material, although most people have been conditioned/brainwashed to think they are). Thank you, Bitcoin! Indeed. Time and peace of mind are almost as important as health and family (including friends). Luckily my life is also full and has been for many years. I haven't had a "real job" in 45 years. I have lots of family/friends and my health is pretty good for my age. I haven't really worried for years even when I was poor. Now I have enough Bitcoin to not have to worry about money ever again. As for the lake, it's just the means to even more peace of mind and a place to enjoy my time in a peaceful healthy environment.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Nice little rise and >$1k mini-correction and we're still over $50k... currently $51545USD$65104CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Go Bitcoin go. Are these the promised 37k?
Promised by whom? By a retarded troll? Yes. Totally retarded. I'm not aware of anyone here on WO who has actually sold recently.
I'm selling almost every day (DCA) to pay for our lake. Missed the weekend dip and yesterday's little dip. Been averaging about $50kUSD.

Bitcoiner for two years: “BTFD”
Bitcoiner for five years: “Can’t BTFD, I’m already all in”

Good morn Bitcoinland. Four three four three four dollars (Bitcoinaverage). Bouncing up and down, Coiling consolidation, Primed for next leg up. My birthday today, I'm now 60, got celebrated by the family earlier. I didn't really care that much when I turned 50, but 60 does make me feel a bit old. O well, nothing I can do about it, back to the internet and my model rocket rabbithole.
Happy B-day Arrie. Remember how much Life seemed to improve after You reached your 40s? I think that you'll find 60 is even better Onward and upward.

If plants have no feelings, why do they respond and grow better with soothing jazz and classical music than with jarring rock, hiphop or EDM?
* Makes note to self: Install speaker systems in greenhouses for ranch build out. Install DJ booth / club lighting / dancefloor in the "green green house"Is this the point where you'll hire a Jazz/Classical Music DJ to help your plants grow? No DJs. Just actual live musicians. Bitcoiners should be able to afford the real thing, not some crappy recorded substitutes. Leave the DJs to the shitcoiners.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Slowly bouncing back after this morning's dip... currently $48052USD/$60834CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Coiling. Go Bitcoin go. As someone once said, veganism is a mental disorder. I did not say it, just quoting someone else. (shots fired!)
I think of it more as a neurosis-based eating disorder, kinda like anorexia nervosa... "oh no, I weight over 95 pounds, I'd better starve myself"... "oh poor little Bambi, I'd better subject myself to vitamin B12 deficiency." Notice how they never seem to worry about the poor little soybeans and other seeds that are murdered before they even have a chance to germinate? If plants have no feelings, why do they respond and grow better with soothing jazz and classical music than with jarring rock, hiphop or EDM? Hypocrites. (more shots fired!)

Calling him dangerously insane because he argues for synthetic beef isn't a great starter. Producing beef is incredibly wasteful, not to mention you have to butcher an animal.
I'm a proud carnivore, yet I would gladly switch to synthetic meat when it is similar in taste and cost. There's simply no reason not to. After what I have read on the subject so far, it seams that synthetic meat lacks a lot of the nutrients that natural meat has. Cows and what not, eat natural food and get all the nutrients in that food, synthetic food is just cells grown in a dish (or similar) with only the basics for cell survival. I wish it would be as good as real meat, it would help stop the maltreatment of animals that takes place in many countries. Until then I will just have to try to chose meat from good farms. Sure, you may be able to replace most of the vitamins, minerals, proteins and fatty acids of real meat with vegetables or synthetics, but you'll never be able to replace the spiritual benefit of eating real meat... the life force of the animal itself. I don't say grace. I thank the animal itself. ___ BTW I'm an animal lover. I love to eat them, wear them, play fetch with them, and let them sit in my lap.

Sell your coins while you can, price is almost certain to correct downwards by at least 50% over next few months.
Lawl. Are you joking or trolling? Selling your coins unnecessarily (e.g. because of the price) is one of the most foolish things you can do. This is even more true if the price has just dipped. This is a time to buy if possible. This isn't the stock market. Correct downwards? We just had our correction downwards. I think the bottom is in. The price is almost certain to rise to new ATHs within weeks (or days) as the bull run continues. The real action should start some time around October, as it usually does. Maybe after that we'll see a massive correction, possibly back down as low as under 6 digits. I doubt we'll see as deep a correction as in previous major bull runs. This time much of the price rise has been driven by institutional investment rather than retail gambling. Do you think the institutional investors have weak hands? Do you think they'll panic sell? It took them years of research before they made the decision to make long-term investments. It will take them years to decide to divest. They didn't buy for a short-term profit. They're investing in the long-tern future of a world-changing technology. Did you already sell some of your coins? It sounds to me like you're suffering from wishful thinking, hoping to buy back at a lower price. Fat chance.

Jesus, what kind of horrible math and science are you using? Correction of 50%? Do you even know how to multiply? Perfect math and science has proven the coming correction for this year alone will be 70%+. The price will eventually go to zero as I've confirmed many, many times using proven, confirmed sources, unlike you. Where is the science? Where?!1 Science is a method, like proven math. If you know science, and how to do it with proven math, then you'll know that bitcoin is going to collapse soon (already started as you can see). Jeezuz murphy Proudhon. What are you doing wandering around outside of the WO? Don't you know that people out here are totally clueless about math and science?

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're bouncing up and down around $50k... currently $49622USD/$62406CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Up a little since yesterday. ___
Dollar cost averaging isn't just for buying. Sometimes it's good for selling.
For the last few years my philosophy has been to buy whenever possible and sell only when absolutely necessary. Now it's absolutely necessary or me to sell $2m worth of coins by May to finish paying for our lake.
My OTC contact has assured me there's no problem as long as it's spread out. They're only open Monday-Friday. I figured the best approach is to sell a coin a day until it's done. Today will be the 3rd day in a row.
DCA at its finest.
