SC - my stats haven't updated at all since this morning. I can't tell if all my miners are still hashing, etc.
edit: nvm, I see it. fixing.

update: fixed. hashrates look lower than they should due to running out of order to force update.

Which stats on which page? I see you hashing at 1.5 gh currently.

Button "Lost Password" is there just for anturage? I haven't found any code serves this event...

It's just a relic from mining pool v1.... Looks like it was a stub. I'll get to it in the next version.

Which reminds me....

v3 features not yet in repo:
Memcached support
No more shares_history (what a nightmare that was)
Improved block handling.
Dynamic stats/setting caching (more responsive/less overhead)
Process locking
Drastically improved cronjobs.
Live round stats.
Just to name a few improvements....

Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/includes/requiredFunctions.php on line 243 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/stats.php on line 133

In pool stats.

Thanks, I just saw that too.

The new .24 bitcoin client just crashed and was unrecoverable, I reverted to the stable one we've had up for weeks.
Even the failsafes managed to fail....

Sorry for the brief downtime, should be back to smooth now.

Also, stats caching is changing to dynamic as opposed to just timed. Which means you'll be more likely to get updated site stats than ones previously cached.

The site is showing current difficulty where the current block should be displayed.

Oops. Nice catch.
486  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - Live Stats/JSON/SSL/LP/GPL on: July 20, 2011, 10:56:27 PM
About to break the site for a few minutes. If you get issues all over the place, I'm still working on it.

UPDATE: Site speed update done. Live stats are up, but to protect the server there is a 5 second wait required between them being refreshed.
487  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - Live Stats/JSON/SSL/LP/GPL on: July 20, 2011, 09:31:28 PM
Added new caching methods to speed up shared data. The site should be a bit more responsive now.

Just updated to the latest bitcoin client with the latest multi-thread updates. Should have been up and down before your miner could disconnect.

Let me know when you update pushpool and I will poke my head in again!

will do.

I use WOW, and I get a fair share of stales! Seems to have gotten better since the first block, but still higher than *some* other pools. I'm in SE Michigan, so maybe that would work for me too!

I should have another 600Mh/s+ coming in today, or tomorrow, so hopefully we can get some more hashes back over here!

SC, Check your donation wallet! I sent a little somethin' for a great pool, with great people, and great new features!

Thanks! Trying to get us listed in more stats/lists currently. I need to find a way to drive more traffic to the site.
491  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - Live Stats/JSON/SSL/LP/GPL on: July 20, 2011, 03:45:59 PM
Oh boy I won the Onion! xD

Although it looks like my stale count has magically gone down (seriously, I have no clue why). GuiMiner shows 50 stale and over 2050 accepted.

I am still going to poke my head in everyone once in a while to see if my stale situation improves too. I am well under .5% stale at other pools, and was over 4% here (as you can see from the onion). But I do prefer mining at smaller pools for a variety of reasons, so I will be back to check frequently Smiley

I'll be updating pushpool/bitcoin soon, as well as working with the colo/isps to fix routing issues.

I'd like everyone to see the low stales I get (~.0001% off wifi)

Update for routing issues: talked to a friend in IT at our local Comcast. He said the easiest way to solve the dropped connections is for you to call in to comcast support and talk to a T2 customer support agent. This will get it on the comcast network radar to be fixed. Be sure to mention that long/open http requests for push data are being dropped early for connections to simplecoin.us and that it seems to be a routing issue specific to your area.

I know it's a hassle, but apparently I can't affect comcast on the west coast from here in Nashville (not yet at least).

Is there a unified patch ready that is stable, or better yet working repo? I've been running the last stable 3diff against .23 I saw weeks ago.
493  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 20, 2011, 07:26:33 AM
Updating Site. Warning: Stats may look crazy as the new code settles.

Update: Site update complete, please PM me if anything seems off or gives you an error.

Live round stats/estimates, better/faster block handling and better server load on cronjobs. (where's the cheering emoticon when you need it?)
494  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 20, 2011, 04:59:45 AM
question man about payment amount jump on chat when you get a chance...

Yeah, I said that last round should make up for the past 2 Wink Nothing like spitting 49.5btc between 10 or so active users at the time  Grin
495  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 20, 2011, 03:28:03 AM
Awesome SC this pool is developing nicely i'm definitively keep 60- 75% of my mining resources here till we grow a little more then i will increase. but i think every weekend i will put 100 percent here.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll have another ~1.2 up soon as well.
496  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds ~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 20, 2011, 12:17:01 AM
Big site update happening after this latest round is rewarded.

Live Round stats, live round estimates, better worker stats, better block identification and hopefully less server load.

This update will not require me to bring the pool or site down. The only thing noticeable should be stat miscalculations during the upgrade (You'll know it's fixed once your stats are live.
497  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~14GHs] SIMPLECOIN.US - 1 BTC Bonus next 2 rounds - JSON/SSL/LP/Opensource on: July 19, 2011, 08:05:56 PM
Wait...wait...wait! We got another block?
Sweet! Right before diff. change. 1,690,906 isn't so bad!
Good job CB! Smiley
Once the site has enough liquid balance, I'm thinking about adding unconfirmed payouts in a manner similar to btcguild. Any interest?

Additionally, transaction fees will be reduced to 0BTC as soon as I can get all of the code in place.

UPDATE: No more tx fees!
I like the idea of an unconfirmed balance box!
and no tx fees is always good!

What about the 24hr hashrate chart. Mine hasn't worked...ever! I only ask because, when I'm at work, and if something crashes, I can tell how long my miners have *not* been working.

I didn't know the chart was having issues. I'll put it on my list of issues. If you see an error can you PM me the details. Also on the todo list is a way to make the stats update faster along with miner failure email notification.

Update: Working on not just faster stats, but live stats.
498  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Pushpool Web Frontend] Simplecoin v2.0 Opensource PHP/MySQL on: July 19, 2011, 05:44:42 PM

Yes, past is relative to shares before current round. This avoids a nasty amount of sql overhead.
I'll have Admin Panel working again shortly.

I've change default value "NULL" in table 'webUsers' col's 'share_count' and 'stale_share_count' to 0 - now table shows current shares
[/quote]

Good to know. I had solved shares before this was implemented, so it never came up.
499  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: do you want to know "Who find the bitcoin blocks"? on: July 19, 2011, 05:06:11 PM
looks like we just found 137019. mind adding simplecoin.us?
500  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Pushpool Web Frontend] Simplecoin v2.0 Opensource PHP/MySQL on: July 19, 2011, 03:36:57 PM
"Past shares" and "Past invalid" takes values after finding block only? In table "Top 30 Lifetime Shares" column "Shares" is 0. It is correct, in case of Round shares already much more then 0?

Update Main Page Settings does not work in Admin Panel Sad
