481  Other / Archival / Re: Just another question. on: March 09, 2024, 08:58:39 AM
Do you have an Alt that tends to get a better chance of getting unbanned?? Lol

This is the first thing that came to mind. OP, I can tell you for sure that, since you can find my nickname through your link, nothing happens with merits or smerits. If an account gets unbanned, it returns to the same rank and amount of merit it previously had.
But if you are concerned about the sheer number of merits lying in vain and not distributed from banned accounts, then you can read a similar topic, the question of which also once bothered one user.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5461970.0
482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the point of registering on a CEX if you don't trade? on: March 09, 2024, 08:18:44 AM
I recently asked my friends, and they think that wherever they are asked to undergo identity verification, there will be a guarantee that their funds will be safe. People know little about decentralized exchanges because the search first tells them to use what is fastest to find. Learning something deeper is usually very lazy for beginners. For some, Bitcoin is still associated with banks and the government being held accountable if they are hacked or funds are lost.
483  Economy / Reputation / Re: What conclusions can be drawn about the related accounts. on: March 09, 2024, 07:50:42 AM
Perhaps the same awakening at the same time would also be an additional point so that we could combine both accounts in a connection, although of course in other cases this would not be relevant. But also, joining a subscription company seven minutes later creates the impression of synchronicity in their behavior.

484  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 08, 2024, 03:14:35 PM
There are dozens of good and productive laptops that are many times more convenient than a Macbook. Luxury is a beautiful watch from Rolex or a cool Rolls-Royce car, but can this be compared to a gadget?
I also agree with those who prefer quality, but you can get it by spending reasonable money. In your case, OP, buying a Macbook was just a waste of money, the difference from which, if you bought a different brand of laptop, could be spent on another necessary thing.
485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do the needful this period and save yourself stress and heartbreak on: March 08, 2024, 02:08:33 PM
A bull market is a time when scammers catch greedy investors. The rule or bait “Buy now, otherwise you will be late” works for scammers. The deadline is set very short so that the person does not have the opportunity to soberly evaluate either the project or the proposed deal that promises large interest rates. Therefore, now is precisely the time when decisions to do something with your finances should, on the contrary, be checked very slowly and carefully. Don't chase high percentages; ask yourself why anyone would give away something that brings good profit to the owner. And would you do the same?
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 08, 2024, 01:58:53 PM
Don't you know the simple truth? Today you lend money to a friend, and tomorrow you will take it from an enemy. There is a rule: if you want to lose a friend, give him a loan. So feel free to tell him that all your money is in business. This is how most millionaires make excuses when they are asked for a loan, thinking that a few thousand for people with large wallets will not be a problem. But you are unlikely to extract an extra penny from them.
Instead, show your friend a way to grow his investment so that he can evaluate the correctness of your position.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 07, 2024, 03:16:04 PM
The OP comes to the forum once every three months to tell us how stupid everyone is here. OP, everything may seem simple in theory, but is it true that you know the exact dates of fall and rise for buying and selling?
Your theory would be good, but until you try it, you won't know that you can't predict the market. In addition, you need to be calm when observing price movements; impulsive actions that indicate that you know better what will happen next often lead to mistakes.
488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need honest advise concerning this. on: March 07, 2024, 12:00:53 PM
I can’t say that your posts are bad; you are on the right track. I see that you are ready for discussions and try to answer as fully as possible. You can also show a list of your posts to the source of merit; somewhere here in the newbie's topic, there is this topic. Or in the Nigerian section, as far as I have heard, your compatriots are successfully published there.
The only thing I can advise is not to lose heart. You are waiting for your first merit. This happens to probably every newbie. But after that, you just need to forget about merit. Just by communicating and reading, you will certainly be read by others, which will bring you a lot of merit.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA: the power of little beginning on: March 07, 2024, 11:42:52 AM
DCA can actually be used anywhere. The principle is so simple, and some people use it without even knowing the definition of the entire abbreviation. Leave 10 percent of your regular earnings. The American dream of becoming a millionaire and having a million also meant saving a few percent of any profits. Knowing about Bitcoin today, anyone who can earn their income and limit themselves to some part for holding can become an investor. There were many surveys on the topic: if your salary is enough for you, then can you live without one of its ten parts? Many of the responses were positive. All that remains is to make the right and necessary decisions.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 24 march 2024 : final verdict for SBF. Did you lose funds ? on: March 07, 2024, 11:05:31 AM
It doesn't take a visionary to say that SBF will not survive in prison with such a sentence. Isn't it obvious, or does he have options? But I think that the book exaggerates SBF's personality too much by saying that he always wanted to benefit people, while he did the opposite, and the benefit he received is only his benefit and profit. Whether he is autistic or not does not matter, many autistic people cope well with their situation, and by the way, it is autistic people love solitude, and in prison, no one can stop them from enjoying communication with themselves.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 07, 2024, 10:07:25 AM
If we talk about luck, then there are certainly people, and we may know some who were lucky enough to meet Bitcoin and believe in it, becoming holders of some amount at the beginning of Bitcoin. These people today can call themselves lucky. Someone remembered that he had bitcoins and did not lose access to them, while someone purposefully went for a good price and is skimming the cream today.
But if we talk about myself, I’m not a lucky person from the early days; however, I consider myself such since I met Bitcoin on this forum and became its owner with a serious decision.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 07, 2024, 09:48:02 AM
It's always difficult to predict Bitcoin's next move. OP, you want guarantees, but there are none. If the price rises, there will always be those who are satisfied with it; on the contrary, those who have been waiting for a purchase for a long time can expect some correction. Each person has their own goals for the price to be achieved, but most likely, with a large increase in price, we will often see those who decide to withdraw rather than waiting for the next big value.
493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Prepare Your Children For Bitcoin Investment and Not for Government Jobs. on: March 07, 2024, 07:19:28 AM
I agree with the OP that children can be introduced to Bitcoin and slowly taught to be frugal. Being a parent myself, I explain to children the smallest basics from which they can begin to understand the meaning of future investments. Lessons like: don't spend your pocket money on what you want right now; leave some money; and be patient if you want to get something. Examples for children should be very primitive; they should not be frightened by the future; on the contrary, interest in acquiring knowledge can create the right thinking.
Only patience and love will create the correct understanding in children of what needs to be learned. But if a child reaches the age of graduation and knows nothing, where can he get money to save? After all, many admit that finishing school is one thing, but being ready for adult life and being in demand is another.
494  Other / Meta / Re: Use of AI on Bitcoin talk on: March 05, 2024, 01:26:13 PM
If anyone used the news portal copy and paste, In this stages will account banned ?
If account holder realized it's violation of forum rule and remove the related post still be banned the account?

The fact that you have removed evidence of your plagiarism does not mean that the forum will forget it. Don’t forget that archives exist, and if necessary, interested people will always be able to check whether your story was plagiarized or not since you will have a tag as a reminder.
But yes, the moderators gave you a chance to improve your posting, and you were not banned this time. But you should not be vindictive when your mistakes are pointed out to you. Look what you did today!

You accused the participant of using an AI tool without reading the rules at all and without delving into the correctness of the assessment you made. And the only reason is that examplens made you a good and fair comment.

My countdown to junior member. Anyone review my post and give only 1 Merit(s) please...
Number of Merit(s) left: only 1

Don't beg for merit. It's hard for you to get merit from pity, and it's against the forum's rules.
I looked at your posts and didn't see a single one worth one merit. Also, the feedback you have on the profile, refers to plagiarism, and that is certainly not helpful.
You can do it much better.

Your desire to gain merit in any way seems very obsessive and funny. Grin
495  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New. Member [jokarr45] wanted to trade Merit! on: March 05, 2024, 10:58:11 AM
This user is not new. And he needs merit to participate in the bounty.

Perhaps he saw your accusation, so he deleted the post from the Bengali section.
In addition, his reports for bounty companies are often not his own; he copies the reports of other users. This ultimately deserves a negative tag.
496  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 04, 2024, 05:54:57 AM
Being a guarantor on the Internet for a person with whom you communicate only online, without knowing his whole life outside the Internet, is very risky for me. We know thousands of stories where people have gained trust for quite a long time, creating the impression of a very decent person, but one day there is an explosion and you see his real personality.
For me, there is a big difference in the definitions of the words “trust” and "vouch." I can trust a person; I can trust something personal that is not related to others; but I will be careful to be responsible for the actions of another person
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 03, 2024, 11:41:09 AM
I would recommend a book for the OP topic called “The Richest Man in Babylon.” I gave this book to my little son to read, and it is even more recommended for adults. The first thing that is important in your savings is that you always need to pay yourself from your very first salary. Leave some. Regularly, this might be called DCA now, but it has been recommended for many years. And only after that should you make this money bring you passive income, which will essentially work for your business again and again.
Any money should not just lie there; only then will your savings make sense.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Reckless financial decision ? on: March 03, 2024, 11:24:45 AM
You don't have to be a celebrity to make such stupid decisions. The main thing in the whole story is vanity and pride. A person who decides that he has the opportunity to dictate rules to others clearly puts himself above the rest. The funniest thing is when we see similar actions from those who have not achieved anything but are full of pride.
Wise people always have a cool mind so as not to commit rash, hot actions because they understand that time can change their future so much that one day they simply will not have a choice.
I like the saying that, when you go up, remember those below. Because when you start going down, you will meet their faces.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sensitivities of Bitcoin secret hunters. on: March 03, 2024, 11:03:26 AM
Why did you even give it to him in the first place? I would understand if your cousin is a kid because most kids ask for adults’ phones and try to find games.

I would also not trust the phone even to a child, since children these days are smart enough to go to the app store and download from there what appears to be a game but is, in fact, an application that can harm the entire phone. I very often observe this behavior with my small children, who, when they get to my smartphone, download everything in a row, and after them, I have to clean the device. The difference is that I don't store anything serious on my phone, and my phone saves me when I have to drive in the car or wait for something with my kids.
500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeds Bitcoin on: March 03, 2024, 10:23:35 AM
By the time I came to the forum and learned about Bitcoin, I was quite prepared in terms of the security of storing anything online. I had experience working on the Internet with other sites that required accuracy, and we can say that the information that the seed phrase must be stored very carefully was not a big science for me.

Another point is that the very creation of the wallet, and all the steps with its actions, I received in a personal message from a very good person here on the forum, who, one might say, literally persuaded me to open a wallet and start participating in signature companies. I'm still grateful to him, and I think he remembers that.
Therefore, the fact that I did not lose anything, but on the contrary, I only gained, is the positive influence of this forum and the people who gather here.
