You don't have to but its getting a little for something you would do any way.
482  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam on: April 23, 2014, 10:46:09 AM
it's about 400 euros

That's ridiculous. 400 euros just to attend or to actually have a booth or something there?

484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why won't Riot games accept Bitcoin on: April 23, 2014, 10:42:24 AM
Why wont any other store accept bitcoin? The only thing we can do is keep asking and keep promoting it. the benefits will eventually become clear to most.

486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP Lost Btc in my wallet lastnight :(( on: April 23, 2014, 10:33:36 AM
My blockchain address is 1FtAc2GNg6NhaFjgAhgsU7BVTxRYbZrmTP

and the one in which my coins where transfer is this
1EJcTLZNfy9HALtgovGuUJbLi1ERmoo6uZ

hash :
https://blockchain.info/tx/cc588a6c0f3acb7c47c6db943f61f3d0baafc2031ca601d714685591b3c45c5b

Sad

Not the entire balance was transferred, only 0.01417377 BTC. Remaining 0.00160802  BTC was sent back to your wallet as 'change'.
Are you sure you didn't send this yourself? Because if someone was stealing your coins, he would transfer all of it, not partial amount.

Hmm that's weird. Maybe he scammed himself somehow? lol
487  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam on: April 23, 2014, 10:30:18 AM
How much are the tickets or is it free? Any info of what kind of stuff will be there. I'd love to go back to Amsterdam and especially for Bitcoin.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transfer are too damn slow! on: April 23, 2014, 10:26:11 AM
Yesterday I wanted to trade some coins in localbitcoins.com. I was nervous to start with, as I had heard of the robberies happening there. Unfortunately, I had to wait for almost 2 hours, before the coins could be traded. Localbitcoins needs 3 confirmations to make the funds trade-enabled. It was such a frustrating wait.

Hope you're not going to sell them for Paypal haha. Have you sold them yet?
489  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where are you from? on: April 23, 2014, 10:22:18 AM

492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mining information on: April 23, 2014, 10:08:22 AM
Check out the mining section. Of course there is big demmand for mining and the equipment but it's not really profitable for begginers anymore.
493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP Lost Btc in my wallet lastnight :(( on: April 23, 2014, 10:06:02 AM
What wallet are you using?

Also if it's already sent to another address it is definitely gone. No way to reverse it.

But you should find out how it happened so you can prevent it for the future and probably secure your computer more.

Blockchain wallet, I don't really know how it send though..
Since everytime I log-on I also log-uot after the transaction Sad Unfortunately lost everything even its a simple and little amount,
But I did put a lots of effort to it but suddenly got lost it all Sad

You must have a keylogger. Do you have two factor auth and still have access to your account?

But don't waste your time with faucets.
494  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: April 23, 2014, 09:55:20 AM

Angels and Demons and Da Vince Code were two other good Tom Hanks movies.

Agree! I also like his classic films: Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Apollo 13. Heard Saving Private Ryan is good, too, but haven't watched that.

Saving Privare Ryan bored me but so do most war films.

War films tend to bore me too. The worst one I saw was The Thin Read Line.

Is there any examples of a decentralized forum. Do you mean like one without any moderators or rules?
496  Other / Meta / Re: May I know the criteria of being a Moderator ? on: April 22, 2014, 11:13:22 PM
A good relationship with thermos and high trust and forum longevity?

Probably more the latter two although the former obviously helps. I'd imagine some of the staff also have a place to put in their own input and recommendations on who should become a moderator.

I'm sure high activity and a continual forum presence is needed, and I guess positive trust would help too, but there are some mods who don't seem to have any trusted 'green' feedback. Also I think most forums usually have a super secret hidden mod board  Grin.
Yeah that is actually common, a secret board for the staff. Due to that I don't think that trust is something that is being looked at. Of course the member shouldn't have a negative trusted rating.

They mods/admins have mentioned the 'secret' mod board here before.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't find any information on Nick Szabo, is he is who he says he is? on: April 22, 2014, 11:10:16 PM
Satoshi, whoever you are, thank you, you really worked hard for everyone. Otsukaresama

Maybe it would be better to spend less time trying to find satoshi, and simply promote his ideals.

If you try to find satoshi, it will only give him troubles and waste his valuable time.

I feel that is something nobody here would like to do.

I agree, but someone made the argument that if the real satoshi comes forward, especially if he/she/they are spectacular in some way, the news would go nuts about it and tons of people would hear about Bitcoin. Imagine the media frenzy it would cause.
Like .. hey guys, I'm Satoshi!!!!

The only thing they would have in common is their smugness, but Satoshi really does have a reason to be smug though maybe he's to meek and humble for that.
498  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has Harry Potter infiltrated your daily life? on: April 22, 2014, 11:08:10 PM
I've only watched the first two or tree movies, and stopped because of it was becoming more and more ridiculous, Maybe also moving from teenage to adulthood has also something to do with it, But I respect the fact that you like the books and the movie, I might give the movie another shot and try to finish them all a Sunday afternoon

In one evening? There's like 8 of them or something or do you mean the remaining ones you havent seen.. Most films I've ever watched in a day was three and it's exhausting.
499  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have a bitcoin blog and looking for a guest poster? on: April 22, 2014, 11:03:14 PM
I take it you're not wanting to do this for free? lol. Check or advertise in the services section.

I mean I want to do this for promotion of my service (post will not focus completely on my service but will be said that I am from the site at the top), which is pretty much free.

Ah ok. So you want to do it in exchange for some free advertising for your site?
500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: April 22, 2014, 10:56:58 PM
Seriously animals have no rights in this world! They are just like slaves to us, for us to kill and torture as much as we want! Who cares if they are suffering and crying and making squealing noises while bleeding all over the place? That is sooo funny!
Animals should not be tortured. You should be.

Animals should definitely not be tortured, and anyone who thinks so is clearly sick.
However there's nothing wrong with eating meat. Smiley

Define torture and meat. Wouldn't having your throat slit be torture and then having your flesh ate be wrong? I'm not a veggie but its a question of morality for them so just because you think there's nothing wrong doesnt mean its right and vice versa.
