481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Yearly Trend on: January 14, 2023, 08:20:19 AM
It is too early to decide how Bitcoin price will end by 2023, we don't know what economic and cyberattack news we might have to face this year. By mid-year the direction of the market will become clearer and if price move high enough such that if eventually we face another attack either through crashing of more exchange or unfavorable regulation it won't push price below a certain threshold. Then we might have a bullish year but if price fails to move fast enough the coincidence might fail to repeat itself in 2023.

I just connected to watch the results of the Serie A matches and I find a surprise, Napoli wins against Juventus and is doing it 4-1. now I can say that Napoli are completely dominating the Italian championship, I sincerely expected a much more balanced game, mister Allegri must review his "cortomuso" tactics
Napoli is undoubtedly the favorite to win the league this season, the goals are still coming in currently it is 5-1. I won't be surprised anymore if more goals come from the home team. I was expecting a good defense from Juventus, but they can't keep up with Napoli's attack. Napoli will now finish the first half of the season with a comfortable point difference over Milan as well as good Goal difference .  Allegri has nothing else to review in this match but to accept defeat and work on improving in future matches.

We live in the province, so online stores are much more expensive because we have to pay for shipping, but local stores are much cheaper, which is why we mostly buy it directly because we can see the actual product, unlike online, but there are some products that are not available, so we have to buy it online. But it is better to support local products as first, it can boost your own economy, and second, you can help locals with their products.
I live in an area that can be called remote but actually has the opposite story from you.
Maybe for food items and daily needs it is slower and shipping costs are also a bit of a hassle but for secondary needs I think online shops are better especially looking at some of the ecomers now that seem to be competing for a better position lots of people always make deliveries with free shipping there.
This variation differs based on location. In my own area retail stores are much cheaper than online stores, but the only disadvantage with retail stores is limited variety of goods. Online stores are more expensive because shipping fee is always included, but they are many alternative options to chose from. In my area online stores are majorly affiliated and so many affiliates sell their product on a particular store at their own price making it more expensive than retail store.

So like I say in a little time cryptocurrency will be the only currency in digital market. So I urge every one of us to key into cryptocurrency as a means of exchange in any businesses we deal with.
That time might never come. The highest Crypto will achieve in years to come is more adoption and preference and by then both Crypto and fiat will co-e-exist with everyone choosing their own preference. Many will prefer to use CryptoCurrency to fiat as fiat value keep depreciating and the more adoption Crypto get the more it value appreciates.

Let see what Chelsea's performance will be in this match all is set and I know Chelsea is all out to reclaim their lost status this season i don't really blame Chelsea's performance this season because of the crisis that faced the club management during the last couple of years.
But as things are right now Chelsea has every chance to win the match even though Fulham is topping them in the league.
Chelsea will win, that was my opinion after the first 15 minutes of the first half. Fulham cannot be underestimated, but Chelsea has a good chance to win it. Felix is now getting his debut, it will only get better for Chelsea. After previously losing to Manchester City, today Chelsea will try to recover it. 3 points will boost the ranking better, and Chelsea must not waste it.

Fulham just converted their first shot on target to goal. The game is gradually getting balance between the two teams. A comeback will be more difficult now and if Chelsea loss to Fulham this night, it will mean they might have to face two more straight losses from Crystal Palace and Liverpool in their next two matches. Potter is at risk of terminating his contract because the Club is not seeing any trophy from their standpoint this season.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: January 12, 2023, 08:21:13 PM
Good or not, every gambler at some point in their journey will definitely lose. But what makes a good gambler from a regular gambler different is how they act upon such losses. For instance, a loss may prompt a regular gambler to bet more to "win his losses back" which can and most often turn to him losing all his money eventually. A good gambler sees through this and realizes that there has to be a point where he should stop, and may take a breather after this loss.
Everything has to do with emotions after a gambler loses or the results of a sports bet do not match expectations so they lose, most gamblers will increase their bets in the hope of recovering those losses until he loses everything, but a good gambler will not force himself because he has the emotional control to play as usual without increases the bet and maybe stops to take a breather, but if he feels it is not his lucky day then he is out of the game and back to gambling for another day.
Emotionally, there will be many causes for him to start wanting to return from defeat and continue to increase the bet, while all this is uncertain, unless he is really lucky.
In essence, good gambling is for those who are able to cope with his control, so he can get out even though he has lost the previous game, but they are now, so he will pair big again by making the biggest mistake the second time but in the end he will also lose.
It still has to be with its own portion, where the deposited funds have run out, then come back at another time.
Emotions are not easy to deal with, even the most disciplined gambler still get tempted to revenge on their bet when the loss, just that the discipline they set help them know when to stop. I prefer betting on budget that way it is much easier to control the urge to bet more. If the budget get exhausted i simply rest and wait for another day or time to try out my luck again.

Napoli - Juventus game is going to be a very lovely start to the new game week.

Juventus can't get a win in Napoli's stadium for four years. And I don't feel like this is the time they are winning as well. Because Juventus still have some injured players who are important for the team. They need players like Vlahovic to be better at finishing. That has been their main problem recently as you know. They find many goal opportunities but waste most of them. They have got many victories by very close scores for weeks. Napoli got a shocking defeat by Inter first but they still seemed good by the Sampdoria game. I think Napoli might win by one goal.
Already placed my bet in the game and fixing a win for the home team. Napoli best form is this season and they're topping the table and Luciano spalleti always doing his best to make his team keep leading on the table. Witnessing Naples hosting the old lady's in the stadio Diego Armando Marandona, this weekend is officially the big game in Seria A. Juventus keyplayers are injured but they can meetup the energy of their rival, so tense to see who will win the scudetto this season, because it's definitely a long run for the both contenders.

A home win is very possible, but a draw is more likely. It will be difficult for Juventus to win Napoli at home and at the same time Juventus getting a draw against Napoli is also possible. This will be the most interesting Seria A fixture for the week. Juventus has been quite impressive despite the number of injured players they have recorded this season they still keep up with their rivals.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 11, 2023, 11:34:10 PM
To achieve this goal, we will encounter endless challenges. Each of us has a unique life situation so what is your biggest obstacle to achieving it ? I know we can make a long list of problems but there must be one or two primary reasons that really hold you back. This is where we should focus and I would like to hear your story. Thanks.
Opportunities and the right set of cycle. Obstacles are not really strange to humans but what differentiate people are how they are able to tackle theirs. I so much believe in partnership, the more network I can gather the more ideas i can explore and the greater miles i cover. Hitting financial freedom has been a burden I need to lessen, but I just feel it is more easily solved with people of the same mindset
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 10, 2023, 09:28:21 PM
The second half of the season starts in 10 days. If Bayern Munich have not signed a new goalkeeper by then, Sven Ulreich will probably be in the goal. If he is very good, it will be very difficult to get a new goalkeeper. Because in any case it would be very difficult to explain that to Sven Ulreich. It is probably not an easy situation for Sven Ulreich right now.
Ulreich should be able to do well in the post for Bayern Munich. He might not be a world class goalkeeper but he knows the ideology of the club more than any other goal keeper that will be bought.
Bayern Munich always have a problem of adapting new players to their team, that is why I think that Ulreich will be able to hold place for Manuel.
Again, Bayern post doesn't receive opponent shots frequently.
Bayern also faces strong opponents in the Bundles Liga maybe not strong enough to contend for the title but good at sharing or stealing points, so they receive shots frequently from their opponents but I hope Ulreich adapts faster than he can. The highest number of matches Ulreich has played in all leagues is 3 for Bayern, and they have PSG to play by Feb. He might be the ideal man for Bayern but in the absence of no other new signings then he will be the man on the post in all Bayern matches this season until Manuel Neuer recovers.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 10, 2023, 08:54:49 PM
There are people I have come in contact with who have made so much fortune from gambling, but it took them so many years to hit their jackpots. Gambling is not like the regular business that has a high level of success guarantee if ventured into. For gambling, it takes patience, commitment and discipline to make a good living out of it, and it is never a guarantee most of the time it takes more than luck to make a living because for toxic gamblers they end up losing even more than they have ever won through gambling.
491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: January 10, 2023, 08:46:08 PM
Collect BTC at Deep Dips. (recently FTX collapsed)
DCA comes in handy here. At every dip lies a potential buying opportunity. Just like the case of FTX where price plunged so dip and that is what has kept the price hovering around $16k-$17k for a while now in which buying each time a new dip forms becomes a strategy of its own.

Quote
Collect potential Alts Bear market
so, let's share your beliefs on strategies.
One has to be extremely careful in collecting potential Alts. Most of the failed Alt coin were potential Alts, just like the case of LUNA. I think cryptocurrency that is centralized has higher chances of getting compromised along the line, either by intention or by unforeseen circumstances. If one must collect Alts it shouldn't be with the hope that they have potentials even if they do. But with so much caution and risking what can be affordable in case things goes sore.

I find the warning for new replies useful, although I never knew it could be turned off in the first place. It is useful to me in the sense that in cases where someone answered a question I have in regard to a thread or replies something similar to what I was about to post, or maybe new posts by OP countering the initial OP post, I will have to make changes to mine before posting.

But the thread is useful for those who might not find those warning of any benefit to them and before now i didn't know such feature exist. Thanks for the thread.

In yesterday's match, Napoli confirmed that the loss of points to Inter was an accident at work and left no illusions to Sampdoria who is the better team. Napoli should also thank Roma for fighting to the end against Milan. Two goals scored by Roma in the very end of the match puts Napoli as much as 7 points ahead of Milan and Juventus. This will certainly give Napoli some extra comfort ahead of the upcoming match against Juventus.
Napoli has done the needful to remedy their loss to Inter by winning Samporia by 2 goals earning 3 point which makes them 7 point ahead of Juventus and Milan. Indeed, Napoli need to be thankful to As Roma who drew with Milan. The upcoming match which is meant to hold on the 13th will be a big determining factor if Napoli will gap Juventus by 10 points or Juventus will narrow it down to 4 points.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 09, 2023, 06:47:43 PM
In the other side, Atletico is so bad when playing at home, by just winning 3 games only so far. I agree that the result was very predictable by the statistic of both teams. Hopefully Simeone can find better defensive players and one center forward in this winter transfer window.
I think Atletico Madrid's defense at the moment is not too bad compared to other teams. Although Atletico Madrid is still better than Real Madrid in the number of goals conceded, Atletico Madrid's current problem is that they don't have a striker who is hungry for goals. So far the average goal scored by Atletico Madrid is 1.4 goals per game, and they are no better than Girona or Atletic Bilbao in terms of goals scored. I agree they need a good forward and I think that should be considered while the transfer window is still open.
Atlético Madrid is never better than Real Madrid. Atlético, who only won 1 game in their last 5 matches and lost 5 games in 16 matches, is no way better than Madrid even in their worst performance. Atlético are playing at their comfort, their games are majorly defensive unlike Madrid who play attacking games and even their defense sometimes overlap in the midfield just to create chances for the forwards they reason they conceded more goals than Atlético.

Simeone will not only need to sign forward players, but to work on the team pattern of play. This was why they finished at the bottom of the table in the group B of the UCL group stage matches. Atlético aren't showing any tendency of competing for anything this season, not even copa de Rey

Fulham - Chelsea is going to be the only game of the day on this Thursday. It is the missing game for these teams also.

After all those problematic games because of poor performances, it is going to be really difficult for me to trust Chelsea to make a bet on them. This is another challenging game for Chelsea right after losing to Manchester City in Stamford Bridge. Fulham have lost to Manchester United and Newcastle in their home games so far. I don't find it surprising because both of these teams have been doing a decent job in the league. But Fulham would like to try their chance to beat Chelsea or at least steal a point. If we don't see Potter preparing his players better for this one I'm afraid this would be another game they lose points in.
Two things will stand has strong motivation for Fulham to attempt winning Chelsea, the first is home advantage and the second is their consistent wins in their last three games. Betting on Chelsea to win is really risky, seeing how they lost to City both in the FA Cup and PL. They should have attempted to draw at least one of out of the two games or better still secured their win in the FA Cup third round, but it is obvious Chelsea will go trophyless this season. Potter was convinced into taking up this role as Chelsea manager. He was better off at Brighton and who knows Brighton would have been in the top 4 if he was still with them.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 09, 2023, 06:01:49 PM
PSG with Messi,  Mbappe and Neymar makes me feel as PSG has more advantage of winning the match, it is unbelievable for PSG to have this three best players and lose the game very easily.  Neuer played important role for Bayern Munich,  if the new goalkeeper is not good enough it will be advantage to PSG to win.
PSG have the squad to conquer Europe, though they had it last season but they were eliminated in the RO16, much to the chagrin of their supporters, but i don't think they would be eliminated at this same stage this season, they have the advantage against Bayern Munich because their three star players (Messi, Neymar and Mbappe) are currently playing at their best, whilst Bayern do not really have any player who is at their best currently, and they also have key players nursing injuries at the moment, and even if some some would be well before the matchday, they might not be fit. Imo, i think PSG are favorites and they are going to win and qualify for the QF.
Bayern might not have a star player like PSG, but they are more committed to team work than PSG who have (Messi, Mbappé and Neymar). Result has to do with more co-operation, even when the team lack the quality. PSG are favorite on paper because of the caliber of players they have, but we all know Football is full of surprise and suspense especially when two teams with their varying strength meet.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 07, 2023, 06:24:31 AM
Man United is quite becoming impressive with their performance this time around with a consistent winning recovery which has put them in the position where they are in the premier league. It is more like the current coach is beginning to understand where their major problem lies and is gradually fixing it and looks like things might begin to work fine once again for them if they should continue this way.
It looks like Erik ten Hag has found the right formula for Manchester United players and so far the Red Devils have managed to secure 7 consecutive wins in all EPL, FA Cup and EFL Cup competitions. Now all the players are much more motivated and in the next EPL match they will face manchester city which we know is the Manchester Derby which will prove who the real king is. The match that both fans have been waiting for and will be an intense match for both teams.
Manchester United last four matches in the EPL were against the pure underdogs except for Fulham where they narrowly escaped defeat. The Manchester City derby will prove if ten Hag actually has a strategy, or he is only capitalizing on gathering points from the bottom teams in the league. After City, they will be facing Arsenal away. If they can keep up with these two straight games, then I will believe Ten Hag has a strategy that can be relied on.

Manchester United defeat against Everton in the EFL was very much expected. The most outstanding EFL games they played was against Aston Villa, where they won 4-2. The fun here is we are getting closer to the Europa heat where both Xavi and Ten hag will have to show the world who has a better strategy
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: January 07, 2023, 06:03:57 AM
The interesting thing is, Bitcoin doesn't need government approval to become the world currency. With the level of popularity and awareness Bitcoin has attained in recent years, It might not necessarily become the world currency, but it can become the most preferred means of payment which the world is gradually coming to. It will come to a point the world will lose hope in government policies because of it failures and irregularities and Bitcoin will become the next channel of concern and this done without government approvals or concern.

What a naive way of thinking, as if anything other than filling all the spots in the campaign is important these days. If most managers looked at quality, most campaigns wouldn't be able to fill even 50% of spots, and that's a truth that everyone knows, but we can pretend that the rule of "5 merits in 120 days" is something that makes a good poster.

I also think it's a little exaggerated to say that 50% of vacancies were not filled in the campaigns.
There are a lot of users who post with quality who don't even have a campaign, because they think the campaigns don't have quality.

Because I think there is a market for all types of users and campaigns.

@ Lucius meant 50% will not be filled if most managers were to consider reviewing post quality before and after accepting new participants. Some good posters become bad posters when they get accepted into campaigns, while some improve on their quality over time. The whole idea is not about personal choice of not joining a campaign because the poster assumes the campaign lacks quality, but the content of posters involved in various campaigns. But truth be told, most campaigns will be scanty if quality was really looked into.
500  Other / Politics & Society / Ukrainians hijacks Russian Bitcoin, Donates it to Kyiv Charity on: January 06, 2023, 10:51:26 PM
Russian dark web where major drug dealers transacts using cryptocurrency got hacked by Ukrainians living in the US and they proceed was donated to Kyiv charity. A total of $25,000 worth of Bitcoin was moved from Solaris drug market’s master wallet and diverted to Ukrainian Humanitarian Charity.

The Ukrainian Cybersecurity expert Alex Holden who chose to play the dark web Robin Hood has refused to disclose how he did this. He only pointed that he was able to take full control of much of the internet infrastructure powering Solaris, an accountable percentage of administrator accounts been run on the illicit bazaar, the source code linked to the website as well as its users' database, including drop off locations for drug dealers. It is reported that for a period of time, his team took control of  Solaris' "master wallet." This happens to be the wallet buyers and dealers used for deposit and withdrawal of funds, which served as the exchange provider for this drug dealers

Holden showed Forbes multiple screenshots of access to Solaris admin accounts and the master wallet, and a Ukrainian cybersecurity expert confirmed the screenshots did indeed appear to show access to backend Solaris accounts.

With money quickly going in and out of the wallet, it rarely contained more than 3 bitcoin, worth $50,000, Holden said. That meant there wasn’t a huge amount for him to siphon off, though he did manage to grab 1.6 bitcoin, worth $25,000, and sent it to Enjoying Life. Hold Security is also making a separate donation of $8,000.
