1121  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there any useful place where OP_CODESEPARATOR is used? on: June 27, 2022, 06:21:17 PM
You can still change it, if it will be a part of the input script. And note you have opcodes like OP_MIN, OP_MAX or OP_WITHIN.
Input script that validates the spending signature i guess?. How about in cases of Op_Hash160 where the input is encoded twice how would this change get into the input script will there be room for this time lock to get an OP_MIN, OP_MAX or OP_WITHIN

Edit: Also, there is another thing planned, called SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT. Or rather, it could be a little more complex: "txid:vout" can be used to select the output, and then tweaked accordingly, by changing the previous transaction:

SIGHASH_PREVOUT_ALL (default, no change),
SIGHASH_PREVOUT_SINGLE (sign only one corresponding input, selected by vout),
SIGHASH_PREVOUT_NONE (sign no inputs of the previous transaction),
SIGHASH_PREVOUT_ANYONECANPAY (sign only this "txid:vout", all other outputs cleared, can be combined with other sighashes).

Then, it could be possible to create a chain of transaction, that would allow "flow control", because you could use SIGHASH_PREVOUT_NONE|SIGHASH_PREVOUT_ANYONECANPAY, and make it resistant to any changes of the previous transaction inputs and outputs (but still, fields like version and locktime will still be signed in that case).
I thought this hashes are scrambled using the timelock how then will it be recalculated so as to make changes on the previous transaction
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 27, 2022, 08:59:38 AM
I caught the trend a bit late but wasn't disappointed in Bitcoin but rather on my analysis. My coach will always tell me listen to you chart and do what it says and not what you feel it should do. The Bear market might last a little longer. I wish the noise in the crypto industry gets filtered off completely so the market can get a better structure. As long as assets keeps existing supply and demand must always play out. Getting knowledgable on how to handle both limits future disappointments
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: June 27, 2022, 08:48:53 AM
4-   CLEAN the trading boys, and for me this its one of the most important things.
And when i said this im not saying you cant trade, but i refered to the boys who want to make money in short times and takes with they the childish way of thinking and also all the tricks of the traders. One of the worst its the “stop loss”. Because that tool produces a cascade in the Price, clearly affecting us when we are holding.

This tool make a ton of auto-sells if the Price go below and with that a cascade keep producing and the big player can make a huge profit and destroying the price.
I will like to understand better how stop loss affects price. Stop loss is only a tool in trading that limits the losses of traders and has no effect on prices. If a trader places a stop loss it doesn't change the direction of the trend and the effect of such action only affects the trader and not the market.

After we pass this storm we can have a much better financial ecosystem in crypto.
A more healthy one, i thin the NFTs made a lot of damage to the ecosystem carrying with him more and more childish thinking boys. And this was a short Little of time after the another wave of damage received by the so called “play to earn”.

Again dont missundestand me, im not opposing against this things but yes against the wave of idiots they carry.

I will agree with you that NFTs are bunch of distractions full so much noise with it's trendy nature with no value attached to it which make it uncategorically belonging to no asset class

After this negative i show you some positives.

Every time we hit a bear market here in crypto always was a step ahead.

In the first nobody talks a lot of Bitcoin and was marginal.

In the second , small investors and some snoobs invest, and some press take an eye.

In 2018 we have more serious investors and more press coverage.

And now we have a lot more serious investor, companies, investment funds.

As you can see we are ever growning and now we are maturing, we keep growing but like a human now we reach some height and we are cleaning the body of all the shit we do in our adolescence.
In human terms, crypto market maybe has 25 years old.

Disclaimer: Sorry if my semantic its not good, im not a native speaker.
Disclaimer 2 : Im not a maximalist.

Do we say we are stripping the market of all redundancy and noise at the moment, shitting away  shitcoins so the market could get a new structure and looks during the next bull run.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 26, 2022, 05:15:41 PM
There are tendencies that a gambler could belong to two category of the listed gambling types lets say a professional gambler who is also a casual social gambler depending on the necessity of events. For instance a Professional gambler who takes gambling as a source of living but still have recreational events, distractions, sociability and entertainment. Or a Casual social gambler who has threats of personality gambler although those cases are rare but in a gambling hub you could get single people with multiple threats
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 25, 2022, 09:37:21 AM
Gambler will always be a gambler, if there’s a greed and other opportunity then most probably they will grab it. Gambler can still be trusted as long as you make them liable and trusting your friend is a big thing, its not easy but its possible.

Gambler should be more responsible especially on handling others money, if you don’t trust them then why give money to them in the first place? You should know the possible risk of this.
In one sence, gambling is a form of addiction. Many gamblers I see can't control themselves. Especially they can't handle greed. They became desperate to manage gambling money. So it is not at all safe to keep them in a place directly related to money.
We still have gamblers that are trust worthy when it comes to handling other people finances but it is still risky because no matter how disciplined they might be this temptation of taking small fraction from what was given to them to keep for gambling will always arise and it takes extra discipline to kill those urges. Most times they might have suggestions like take a little if you win you replace it and when the lose they will want to play on to see if they can cover up for the loss until everything is lost.
1126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading system understand on: June 25, 2022, 09:14:15 AM
5. Dont follow what other traders do. must be learned by them. not to copy.
With what I see today, newbies tend to follow the experienced ones. But what's sad is that these mentors aren't for real and many of them are fake ones that don't really trade.

They teach the basics but they don't do it in real life for their own trades.

They sell the courses and that's how they make profit with. But if there's something good and effective that you can follow or copy as an example to your own trading style, why not apply it on your own and if it results good? Why stop?
Copy trading is the most riskiest form of trading. I know of a crypto mentor who always make his student feel no matter how good they get in analyzing trends they will always need his signals and confirmation to make any trade and most times those predictions moves in opposite direction.

Gaining good knowledge about the crypto trading system is the way out of been mislead through copy trading. Just as boyptc stated copying a trade should be a confirmation and not the sole base of making decisions on trades because in the crypto market no one always get their analysis 100%
1127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Less FOMO more Buying on: June 25, 2022, 08:54:49 AM
This is rather a best time for newbies to marry their research other than jumping into the current Bitcoin price because they were told prices are cheap. Bitcoin price could still fall below this and who will be held when FUD sets in. Following the current market trend i rather advice, encourage and educate newbies on the need to see research as a necessity because this will guide them on when to buy, sell off and buy again
1128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is bitcoin special? on: June 24, 2022, 08:28:42 PM
I see all of those other coins that have a lot of utility and practical use when compared to bitcoin, but they don't have the market cap. According to what I've learned, it has extremely slow transaction speeds and higher transaction fees than other coins. It's doesn't appear to stand out from the crowd, yet bitcoin remains number one, is there something I'm missing here? I looked online but couldn't find anything that answered my question. Thanks
First of all Bitcoin is the first crypto currency project to provide privacy through a decentralized method. It has provided an alternative source of spending and doing transaction and this time without a third party interference. Transaction fees can be lowered if you are not in a hurry which means the transaction will get confirmed in a later block. Higher transaction fee result in transaction been confirmed quickly this is just a way of rewarding miners who carry out this confirmations. Bitcoin remains number one because it doesn't only stand as an alternative to fiat it is also a store of value. What i think you are missing is the fact that Bitcoin remains the safest crypto currency to invest in
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 24, 2022, 06:21:18 AM
The biggest advantage of gambling with Bitcoin is that it is private and tax free. The government cannot benefit from your money. However, the biggest disadvantage is; its value is constantly changing. You must calculate the amount you use according to at least 3% variability. Otherwise, you may lose a little while trying to make a profit.
If the government can't benefit through taxes then how do we intend generating revenues for development. This is the reason the government keeps fighting hard to either ban or regulate this crypto currencies so they don't get completely sidelined in our transactions.

The volatility could work either ways it could be bullish or bearish meaning it could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on  the price as at when the deposit was made and when the withdrawn winning is made.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: June 24, 2022, 06:14:02 AM
Investing in crypto has created opportunities that is subject to financial instability due to high volatility. Now i have come to understand that crypto investment isn't meant for everyone. If as an investor reading is not part of the investment plan then such has no business around crypto investment except they are using gambling approach. In the last few months crypto has taken from investors more than it has given not because there are no more avenue to boast finances but because researches are been neglected somehow.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 24, 2022, 05:59:56 AM
I'm a real madrid fan but in my opinion what happened last season that made us win the la liga was that we were very lucky.

To be much stronger than all opponents you call luck?  Shocked Grin
Real Madrid had a great season and the fact that other teams was in crisis cannot detract from Real excellent performance and results.
I wonder how can he called himself as a fan of Real Madrid but he thought that the victory by Real Madrid is lucky  Grin Grin
Real Madrid won the victory and championships not only once, it has been many times. Why? because the team really deserves for the trophy. The team has stronger and more solid squad, management, coaches, and also strategy than others. Moreover if we see the statistics. real Madrid performance is always great.  Cheesy
The points and goal difference is enough to state that Madrid won their league with quality games and good performances there is nothing like luck surrounding their success last season. If Barcelona had started strong maybe they would have competed with Madrid for the title but while they suffered their crisis Madrid were gathering their points. Madrid deserve the both trophies the won
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 23, 2022, 08:27:41 PM
It depends on how far the accusations spreads since they have had good feedback all along and a single bad feedback springs up if it is well spread it will definitely tarnish the reputation of the casino except they deal with it fast enough before  it escalates else it will spoil all their good reputation. No matter how many good feedback a casino might have there are some bettors who don't just like them and just a single bad feedback is enough to spoil their minds the more
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 23, 2022, 08:09:47 PM
Gambling is a fun spirit as greed is a misery. Losing is part of gambling, it is like a calm peel but winning is an instigator of lack of contentment. But what ever the case the result turns out contentment and budget should be the leading factor during gambling. Addictions are real and can be very disastrous, if infects worst than viruses. It is better to be contented with loses than seek help over gambling addiction
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A police officer (ASP) in Bangladesh was detected as crypto investor on: June 23, 2022, 07:52:02 PM
Many top government official are holding crypto so this is not surprising but my worries are just as yours why he choose shit coin over Bitcoin. He didn't see the dump coming soon and it is becoming glaring that  the government aren't really against crypto from all indications they are only scared of their inability to regulate it completely so they enforce ban on them.
1135  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mechanical hashing on: June 23, 2022, 01:59:42 PM
Looking at a device like a chaotic fluid where Hashing is simply done through hydrodynamics. We could liken it to stirring a muddy fluid a sort of mechanical device just like in a microfluidic device  which can be can be used in a digital information system.

This chaotic maps can encode information about the underlying flow dynamics into the relative arrangements of advected particle which in our case study is SHA-256 hash function with arbitrary message of 512-bit

1136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference Between Bitcoin and Crypto currency on: June 23, 2022, 12:13:46 PM
Cryptocurrency is a collective name for all digital or virtual currency that are decentralized it involves verifying of transactions and recording them on a public ledger using a decentralized process called cryptography. Bitcoin is an example of a decentralized cryptocurrency although centralized tokens and coins fall within the category of cryptocurrencies But Bitcoin is the first digital coin to be well acknowledged and used.

Trading are done within exchange be it centralized or decentralized.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 22, 2022, 12:36:17 PM
They should resolve in creating new source of revenue other than crippling their citizens with revenues gotten from this casinos. Because this could lead to high gambling addiction and misplaced priority since they are government owned they will want to legalize gambling not for the sake of their citizens interest but for the sake of generating more revenues and making their citizens depend on betting for survival
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 22, 2022, 12:02:35 PM
I think it will just be a matter of time before other sports organization will follow after them. Will there be a good market for this? I don't know but bookies will probably open a different line for the events exclusive for them. Would you bet if they do?
There could be a good market for transgenders if given their own event not inconveniencing the women sports. Bookies are out for their money if transgender sports gets fans and interest then bookies will be left with no choice but do delve into creating bets for them. For me i bet on what seem feasible and predictable if that become their case then a big yes
1139  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation hits new high of 9.1% as food and energy price surge persists on: June 22, 2022, 11:12:20 AM
Historical records from the Office for National Statistics show May's inflation was the highest since March 1982 — and worse is likely to come which means a fear for a dangling economy. The rise in consumer price index is becoming a big threat to the economic growth of food and energy production in Britain as high risk of meeting higher inflation rate and recession is staring fiercely at the UK Consumer price index.
1140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: June 22, 2022, 10:34:09 AM
Headlines like "Bitcoin is dead" comes from government regulated newsletters and non-investors who don't understand the mechanism and use of Bitcoin so they propagate this news and blind their minds from seeing the buy opportunity ahead in which every dip. CZ understands the price chart and how prices moves so all he sees on his chart is a buy opportunity. Bitcoin is one asset that can't return valueless. There must always be a new bull run and a higher ATH
