321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Retracement will finally happen on: March 10, 2023, 08:02:57 AM
That is why i prefer Elliot wave as a strategy when dealing with trending markets. For every impulsive wave there is a correction wave awaiting to oppose the larger trend. Despite the retracement move the market is still keeping up with a higher high uptrend. I guess $19k will form a very strong support for a good buying opportunity.

some ways to avoid fraud
-Never give out your personal information to anyone you meet online.
-Research and conduct a proper background check on every investment opportunity thoroughly before you invest.
-Double checking on website links to be sure its the right ones and  avoid clicking on links from unexpected social media messages or emails.
-only invest in things you understand.
-Ignore people who come out from nowhere asking you to invest and join a platform you don't know about.
-Ask questions before you act.
Another factor is that most investment opportunities tries to mimic genuine projects. Some might even have to deal so patiently with their clients until they fall as preys. I resolved in treating every new project as a potential scam project even after all the research and question asking once my profit is ripe i exit and move on. Most projects are better treated as ponzi if it must be worth risking my funds on.

- However, despite being a new technology, it has very high energy consumption. However, everyone would like it to consume less energy.
Because it requires POW to remain decentralised, energy consumption will not be less. However LN which is done off the blockchain can be a good way to lessen energy consumption but yet it is not user friendly to all.

- Also, it has been known and traded for years but still has very high volatility. With this appearance, it scares new investors. Because everyone expected it to have a more balanced price performance.
It is the same activities of other new investors added to demand and supply including users sentiments and government regulation that keeps the price always in volatile state. A balanced price might never be possible because more people are waiting to take profit from every move Bitcoin makes.

- World history is full of wars. Perhaps we are living through one of the best periods in history. But because of us homosapiens, our world is very prone to chaos. Coins that do not have an armed force behind them, such as Bitcoin, may be a little unlucky in this regard.

I think these three problems may not be solved and these three problems may prevent bitcoin from being a reserve currency.
I think if there is an outbreak of war as long as the internet still exists it will even be more safer to own Bitcoin because it will be more accounted for  as each coin is only spent when the private key is known as compared to when the financial institutions get trusted to preserve the same fund.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 09, 2023, 06:49:19 PM
I wonder if Arsenal can beat Sporting? Not much time has passed so far, but the hosts are playing no worse than the top 1 club in England...
I also wonder how Roma will play, which has already scored a goal... But I think that Sociedad will be able to answer them...

While writing, Arsenal scored! Grin I hope they don't cancel it...
Sporting has already evened the score. A match of equal teams, Sporting plays no worse than Arsenal at least. In general, I thought that Arsenal will dominate, but Sporting was able not only to even the score, but also level the game, because at the beginning Arsenal really played stronger. If nothing changes globally, a draw will be the most logical result.
However, passions got a little hot towards the end of the first half and maybe one of the Arsenal players will earn a yellow card.
Arsenal is still dominating and there is lot of time in the second half to take the lead. The second half should separate the two teams. I don't see a draw out of this game, Arsenal will surely end the first leg in an away victory while they wait for Sporting at Emirate for the second leg to complete what they started.

Of course Manchester United's chances of winning the game are wide open tonight. But how many goals can they get to secure their position when playing away to Real Betis. In my opinion, Spain only has two clubs surviving in the Europa League, Real Betis and Sevilla. But the club against Sevilla is also the best in the French league at the moment, or the Spanish representatives will all fall. This match took place so quickly, as if there was no rest time for the players, and the matches took place simultaneously.

Manchester United must be able to show their best tonight, otherwise they will continue to be blasphemed by their fans. And this is the greatest burden for E. Ten Hag.
The problem is that most of MU's players are currently injured, even Casemero is also injured. Meanwhile, Real Betis seems to be in good condition.
Betis more technical than Manchester United. I just hope to see the best from Manchester United tonight. The two surviving club from the Spanish League are more dangerous than the table toppers of their league. Just like Sevilla who is near relegation they don't mind giving their all to move to the next round of the Europa league and still struggle to stay above relegation in their domestic league.

325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 09, 2023, 06:34:09 PM
We can not over look the good potentials of Real madrid team this club is currently managed by Carlo anceloti and the have shown their superiority to somany teams this season both in their clubs side and in the international football but their last week draw with real Betis in the Spanish laliga in Betis home is not good for a club thats is regarded as the major contenders of the Spanish laliga, more technicality is required from their manager to get the anticipated results.
Real Madrid are sluggish in their pursuit to get closer to the top of the table. Since the start of the season they haven't sat at the top for a full week and it is limiting their chance of claiming back the top. As for Betis they were more determined to defend against Madrid than to win. 1 point was enough for Betis in that game against Madrid. I am thinking Anceloti is more concerned about the CL, maybe he might have seen that Xavi will be a big hinderance to him in all competitions in the Spanish league.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 09, 2023, 06:22:38 PM
I have said this a lot of times before but if you are having players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all in the same team, then it is not really a thing that is totally positive in every respect. If those 3 players are playing at the same time, then this basically means, that your team probably has the strongest offense of all teams in the world, but in the same time this also means, that you have 3 players on the pitch, that are doing absolutely nothing to support the defense. I think this is just to much and can not be compensated anymore in modern football. Also i have to say, that the squad of PSG, bedides those 3 superstars is not really that great.
Bayern are more experienced than PSG in the Champions League that is why they won them in both legs without a reply from PSG. PSG did all they could to get back into the competition but their efforts could not profit anything. Outside the three super stars PSG still has lineups of professional players just that they were not making their assists early enough especially in the second leg. PSG defense wasn't as bad as it seems just that Bayern were high opportunists and they were more conscious of their defense than PSG. PSG had good attempts but all went void
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 09, 2023, 05:39:38 PM
Bayern is a club that should be able to win Augsburg so that they  don't disappoint their fans. Playing Augsburg in Bayern's home is a sure victory since Augsburg is a weak team compared to Bayern and it will be easy for Bayern to win the match. I just hope that winning PSG will bring them back to form. They need to be consistent in their matches,in order for them to win the league, though I know that they are the league favourite.
Bayern is relieved of the Champions League pressure of winning PSG in the second leg so they should find Augsburg interesting to defeat. Bayern is one club that is calculative of their matches and they know how to set their priorities right. Their next three games should be a win as they await their next fixture for the Champions League quarter final. Augsburg should be a continuation of their winning

Wednesday 8th March
Bayern Munich 0 0 Paris Saint-Germain (Agg 1 - 0)
Tottenham Hotspur 20:00 AC Milan

Source: https://www.skysports.com/champions-league-fixtures

Games of the day, prediction, Bayern and Spurs will pass the turn.

Bayern has higher chances of moving to the next round with their aggregate advantage and home stadium. PSG will have to do extra job to turn things around. For Tottenham they can be so difficult to predict but they should they are the most favorite in the leg 2 of 2. Milan might defend their home win and move to the next round if Spurs fails to turn the game around. Spurs vs Milan bet is the most complicated today.

The crypto industry is 14 years old and counting yet the technology still seem new to both old and new investors. There is no wrong or right time to invest in crypto, the major concern for newbies should be how to start. Many heard about Bitcoin in 2009 and ignored it then later picked interest in 2020 down to date and are making big profit from the market. The major concern is how to get the right knowledge so as to stay in profit while the volatility persists.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 07, 2023, 09:31:31 PM
Barcelona caoch Xavi must have a good focus on the Laliga because that is the only trophy for now that he could look unto and smile at and have a great conviction to soldier on.
Altletic bilbao is not a conder for the title and does not win always but they have the capability of making you not to win. But we have nothing to bother about because even Barcelona rivalry is not serious to overtake Barcelona.
True! Barcelona have a firm opportunity to win the LaLiga trophy this season. Barcelona have been showing better performances in the league than in European competitions, Real Madrid have also not been consistent in the La Liga which gives Barcelona an upper hand at the trophy this season.
Standing with 9 point is a big conviction they will lift the trophy. And if they also succeed in defeating Real Madrid in the second leg of Copa del Rey semi-finals they will still increase their chance of winning that as well. With Super Copa de Espania, the league title and Copa del Rey in their bag Xavi won't end the season completely empty.

Barcelona is the most consistent club in the La liga as it stands with the least loss and draws. 24 games with 20 wins, 2 draws and 2 loss is a good stat compared to that of their biggest rival. Xavi has done excellently well in the La Liga just that he could not extend that beyond the spanish league.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 07, 2023, 09:20:12 PM
I think Erik Ten Hag also did that, but is targeting a top 4 finish easy? I don't think so, because it won't reduce their competition with other teams who also want that place. The European League will be their next target, because their chances there are also quite large.
Yes, the defeat to Liverpool yesterday was indeed very embarrassing, but they must quickly forget about it and return to focusing on the other matches they will have.
Regardless of what they got against Liverpool, Ten Hag's performance can still be said to be good and as you said, being in the top 4 is definitely not something easy and this can be used as a real lesson for Ten Hag that his path is actually still quite long. steep so don't be too complacent now.

Erik ten Hag is an absolutely successful manager.  I am sure of that.  Manchester United has a big role in reaching this level.  Of course, although Liverpool's defeat was a great disappointment, I am sure that they will achieve success that will make them forget it.  I think it will be enough for Manchester United to achieve their first four goals this year.
Ten Hag is a successful manager and is full of good tactics. His good tactics has kept the team in the top 3 position with 4 point difference above Tottenham. But with their disappointing result against Liverpool, i doubt they can maintain that possession for so long, the problem is not with Ten Hag and his tactics but the United boys themselves. I am still wondering how a big team will concede 7 goals in their own local league. For me i feel Liverpool are now motivated to climb the top 4 with their last performance.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 05, 2023, 10:05:41 PM
And as for LIV vs. RM, it's like trying to compare apples to oranges. Liverpool may have a strong team this season, but Real Madrid is currently on fire. And as a real Real fan, I believe that LIV can not make any comeback
With Liverpool's current condition it looks like they have confidence at the moment even though the aggregate is quite large.
On the other hand, Madrid's condition is also not too good for the domestic league right now, although indeed I am still quite sure that Madrid can maintain their one step towards the top 8 phase but Liverpool's quick counterattack really deserves attention now and Madrid if they really want to make this comfortable for them I think they will play it more safe later.
For Liverpool to do a comeback it means they will have to score three goals without Madrid scoring a single goal which looks very unrealistic. We shouldn't get mislead by the 7 goals Liverpool scored against Manu in the premier league it is a big trap to losing the bet in a big match like this. Madrid will definitely maintain their lead but for Liverpool scoring goals in the second leg it is possible but a comeback is unrealistic
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 05, 2023, 09:56:42 PM
Real Madrid continued to put pressure on Real Betis' goal, but Real Betis' counterattack was very dangerous. Likewise, Real Betis' defense was so neat that it was able to stop the movements of Karim Benzema and Rodrygo.
Although Real Madrid put pressure on real Betis highly, they only can give pressure, but not a high pressure that leads to the shot on target, it is really less accurate. Well, I am still sure that real Madrid will be much better in this second-half and probably will have victory. But exactly, Real Betis also has a strong defense with high counter-attacks that sometimes will make Real Madrid in a bad position. Real Madrid several times lost their point or chances because of a counter attack by the opponent.
It is a draw game. Good defensive game from Betis. The attack from both sides seems almost equal. But Madrid had the upper hand in ball possession. It was a tough game for Betis but they did a good job defending with the best of their might unlike Madrid who will force their opponents into conceding goals but Betis got the best in their defensive tactics.

Manchester united was humiliated today by Liverpool, most people believed Manchester united will win since they are in form, but Liverpool suprised everyone, I was impressed by Liverpool performance today, the match was a easy win for them, with Liverpool current performance, I don't believe Liverpool will be able to score 7 goals against any club for now. Congrat to then at least they are now in 5th position on the table and Tottenham is ahead of them with just 3 points, am sure Liverpool will try there possible best to take the position from them.
Agree. I'm surprised, I don't think Man United will be defeated with 7 goals and they even can't score a single goal. Everyone knows that Man United performance looks impressively lately, they even almost overtake Man City in 2nd place. But this defeat shows us that Man United still can't maintain its best form. Ten Hag must evaluate what is happening with Man United. There is something wrong with the tactics or the players' motivation.

Yep, Liverpool is in 5th place. But Newcastle possibly overtakes it because they have 1 unplayed match. Sure, Liverpool still has the chance to return to top 4. It is very realistic to achieve if they continue to play impressively.

There is nothing to be surprised about Manu's performance today. Manchester United isn't in form they fact they have been winning games back to back in time past doesn't mean they are in form. If we check their previous games where they won we see that they lack ball possession in most of those games. I was expecting a big humiliation like this although not from Liverpool.

Liverpool exposed the weakness of Manchester United. It is only luck that has pushed Manchester United to the top 3 position in the table and not their form. I think other big teams will get enough motivation to expose united weakness further.

If you convert your entire money to Bitcoin how do you spend them on local commodities. Most of the market women/men don't own a bank account for online transaction not to mention owning a Bitcoin wallet. Crypto generally is not a legal tender in Nigeria so if you are converting your entire money to Bitcoin do it on the grounds of investment and not a banking method because you will need to exchange them back to fiat when ever you need to spend it.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: March 04, 2023, 02:38:01 PM
..
Everything still falls back to man with regards to how they pollute the environment with heavy chemicals exposed to the earth crust. Each passing year the level of food scarcity keeps increasing as result of human inquisitiveness, discoveries and use of harmful raw materials to get an expected finished product which affect the global environment, from farm products to sea foods including domestic and wild animals. Food scarcity or shortages caused by human activities  has no remedy using the crypto inventions. Except a high profiled blockchain technology can be incorporated to monitor and guide human activities such that it doesn't affect our environment. It will only take humans ensuring other humans dispose harmful chemicals and pollutants properly such that it doesn't affect our environment which is where blockchain might come in since its data can be transparent and has high integrity.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 04, 2023, 02:02:45 PM
Dortmund had a great performance against Leipzig and they won 2-1. By winning this match, the Dortmund team managed to occupy the top spot in the table. If Bayern Munich can't win against Stuttgart today, Dortmund will be at the top of the table. And if Bayern Munich gets 3 points, Munich will be able to regain the top spot in the table. On the other hand, Union Berlin will play today against Koln. Berlin is not in good form right now. So Berlin has the possibility of losing points in today's match.
Do you expect Bayern Munich to lose to Stuttgart? That's a difficult thing to happen in tomorrow's game, Dortmund's victory seems to give Bayern encouragement to return to their position in first place, if Dortmund hopes to be able to stay in first position maybe when Bayern will face a team that is stronger than Stuttgart and In the next few weeks, Bayern will face relatively mediocre teams, so Bayern will return to the top.
Bad luck happens most times in football games. Bayern might play their best and the highest the get is good shots on target. Everyone knows Stuggarts are underdogs but yet Bayern might still find it difficult to win them. Although we expect Bayern to win but with the pressure of the second leg in the CL Round of 16 coming in few days Bayern might have to neglect winning Stuggart if the game becomes tougher and focus on their return leg with PSG as the aggregate between both team is just 1 point difference.
338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Or Holdings on: March 03, 2023, 06:07:20 PM
I want to know the opinion of our community that which is the best option. Just do both trading and holding. You need to trade most of the bounty tokens/ coins 🪙 to exchange with the top altcoins bitcoin. And hold the potential altcoins to wait for the raise of their price. I do this way to gain more benefits from the values of the coins/tokens.

It depends on the experience of the individual. Not everyone will be smart enough to know which Altcoin has potential to do well in the future. For an experienced trader who can do both trading and holding at the same time and still stay in profit they can go ahead. But for inexperienced or novices in the crypto business it is better they stick to holding Bitcoin, If they can earn other tokens/coins they simply swap to Bitcoin and hold because it is better to grow sluggishly that have all your sweat thrown in the dungeon.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: March 03, 2023, 05:52:59 PM
I haven't taken Bitcoin serious not until i joined the forum. But yet those who were privileged to own Bitcoin 10 years back not all became rich. So many lost access to their wallets, some spent their Bitcoin in buying Pizza and some common commodities it could afford then only a few became rich. But with the sensitisation i think the goal now is to join the next wave to mark the next ATH. 10 years from now is not a guarantee Bitcoin will make new rich investors but definitely as many that will invest will stay in profit. 10 years is indeed a very long time to speculate and high possibility for price to stay far above it's present support zone.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 03, 2023, 05:41:30 PM
We know Lazio cannot be predictable and especially after the recent games we saw from this teams and how they perform but still, I don't think Lazio can make problems for Napoli because, in the last games, Napoli had they never lost a single point against strong teams in their league and even in Champions league that's why betting on Lazio can be pretty much risky at least in the current time with the current situation of Napoli.
It is true that betting on Napoli can be a risk at a time like this but they also want to continue to maintain their winning record this season and that is indeed not easy especially when their opponent is Lazio. But Lazio was also less productive in the previous game, whereas if we look at the head to head of the two teams, it is clear that Napoli has excelled so far since the previous season against Lazio. So I think the victory will still belong to Napoli in this match, at least Napoli can win by a narrow score.
If Napoli was to lose it shouldn't be in their home stadium, they are not under any pressure in their second leg in the CL so they will still want to play their best squad and continue their streak of been undefeated. As far i know Lazio is still inconsistent with their game. The problem shouldn't be if Napoli will win but how many goals can Napoli score against Lazio. This is a straight win game nothing less.
