1241  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 25, 2022, 04:22:19 PM
Not scares me any longer in the crypto space. I'm gradually learning how to get prepared in any face of the crypto market condition. if the price could fall from $68k back to $28k then hitting $8k can also be achievable and that will be a good red candle to buy. The goal for now is to recover from the lost opportunity to buy if it ever presents that offer again
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: May 25, 2022, 04:13:33 PM
Hello all,

I have been following Bitcoin prices for some time, and now I'm doubtful if it is a good time to start accepting it as it has changed so much in the past months. Those who accept Bitcoin - is it worth it? And do you accept Bitcoin straight to your wallet, or do you use third-party services?

Thanks in advance!
I am wondering why you doubt this will be a cool time to accept Bitcoin. It's best appreciated i the dip. Although there is no right of wrong timing to transact in crypto but if you must accept crypto directly into wallet you should also be a good market analyst to know when to go stable since it's not an investment tool but a legal tender at the moment. But generally there is no bad time to accept Bitcoin in exchange for goods and services
1243  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to reduce energy consumption and eliminate wasted work on: May 25, 2022, 04:07:11 PM
All miners who compete for a new block actually contribute to the blockchain security because the network operate in a consensus mechanism in that if the rest are completely wait for a new block to be registered by selection or declaration of interest to register it can result in an invalid UXTO. Bitcoin will remain an energy consumption crypto due to it's proof of work the only remedy is alternative source of energy generation preferably through waste
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 24, 2022, 08:41:54 PM
I think the same as you think. Their financial problems at the start of the season obviously made them worse in every way especially losing their star Messi to PSG and Aguero being forced to hang up his boots early making this even worse than expected but luckily there has been a massive change in terms of performance. coaching management and several player changes that made them compete again until the end.

Granada did not play as well as Cadiz and Mallorca which made them have to give up their position and had to move to the Segunda Division
They have to go through a transition period this season because after being left by Messi and a not-so-good start to the season made Barcelona have to take the option of replacing the coach, the arrival of Xavi made Barcelona situation re-ignite where Barcelona was able to record consecutive wins and bounce back from adversity.
Xavi arrival in the middle of this season was indeed a miracle for Barcelona, which at that time was slumped under Koeman coaching, the arrival of Xavi gave a revival to Barcelona game and slowly Barcelona, which was previously at the bottom was able to end the season in second place, I personally can't wait to See what Xavi does next season in Barcelona, but if you look at Xavi extraordinary journey this season, it certainly gives hope for Barcelona fans to see their team back on championship track next season.
Xavi coming to Barcelona as coach was the best thing that has ever happened to Barcelona this season, Barcelona record was very poor but when xavi arrived as coach he transformed Barcelona for good. Even if they couldn't meet up to win the league atleast  their record at the end of season is not poor and they ended their last game well.
It is easier to coach a team that are willing to give their best and play as a club. Xavi had a good result because he was already use to Camp Nou and the boy we're willing to work with him. His new signings also boasted the overall performance. Koeman wasn't that bad he only needed more time but Barcelona didn't have so much to spare because they we're already having streak of losses. Xavi on the hand is a Nou brought which gave him a better tactics saving the team a whole lot

I think Manchester City learnt from Real Madrid comeback at the UEFA Champion's League semifinal, Manchester City were positive they will be able to pull the strings to get the much needed win against Aston Villa.

Thats a pretty bad comparison you got there for real. Madrid was playing against top teams on UCL while City was playing against Villa, a mid table team and although most people were expecting Villa to win but we knew that the comeback was coming so yeah. Pretty much still a great feat to be able to win after losing by 2 goals though
Villa is a mid table team but not a completely weak team. Pep's substitution to bring in İlkay Gündoğan was a big tacktics. Aston Villa were already holding on to their 2 goals lead and i don't think the saw the first goal goal from İlkay Gündoğan coming and the second from İlkay Gündoğan again scoring two goals in less than 5 minutes. If Pep had underrated Villa any further he would have lost it all after holding on to the top of the league for that long
1246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC or DCA other coins? on: May 24, 2022, 07:36:46 PM
Investment is based on research. SOL, ETH, BTC, DOT might have future goals but it is still at your own risk. For ETH the gas fee alone is discouraging except for good capital investors. To be more frank the safest for now is bitcoin. Crypto investment is fun and profitable but when the bear market sets in it can be so frustrating except you have a very slick trading strategy on when to pull out from alt coin investment else Bitcoin is strictly the safest
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 24, 2022, 07:29:26 PM
Spreading portfolio across other investment is best. When it comes to Crypto investment the market is never predictable in as much as we have piles of bitcoin in our wallets having investment in agriculture and real estate can save in times of crypto bears. There are altcoin with good projects but it is still not worth risking so much funds on. It can still turn out a pump and dump project.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 24, 2022, 04:34:04 PM
I think it's only natural that some gambling platforms favor Liverpool and I wouldn't be swayed by their favorite. As long as the match hasn't started, there are always surprises, whether it's predictions about who will win and who will be the scapegoat. Basically the odds of both teams are 50÷50 as long as the game has not started.
Everyone deserves to have a prediction, but I'm sure every fan will support their favourite club. Like me, I will support Madrid because I like Madrid. But I'm aware both teams have an equally great chance. Mentality, match experience and the condition of players when playing will be very influential compared to the match statistics they have passed. So far I guessed the victory based on my feelings of heart because I like Madrid.
Funny enough both teams have equal opportunity. Supporting your club as a fan is pretty nice but when it comes to staking your fund one has to be wiser than the men from the east. This is not one of those matches that will end in a draw and even if it does it can't be a goalless draw. This is one match that is played once without a return leg so both teams will likely given in their all. I was looking at both teams to score in the first half
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 22, 2022, 08:05:48 PM
Milan fans have reasons to be happy today. There will be a fiesta until the morning for sure.
Personally, I did not expect Milan to become the league champion. Halfway through the season I was betting more on Napoli. At the end of the season, Milan showed that is best prepared to fight for the title to the end.
Good job!

Milan fans have been waiting for this moment for many years and today they are celebrating it not only until morning but for 7 days  Cheesy
Milan got a miracle in some matches their journey to this year's title is full of drama and they got what they wanted

Congratulations to Ac Milan after 11 good years . It's been a good league too in the seria a. The drama  became a bit horror at some point but I am glad the found their way through. It was really a though season for Milan, Sassuolo gave them tough time but the managed to secure their title with 3 goals lead. Inter was very much prepared to snatch it If Milan had not won their last game
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 22, 2022, 08:00:30 PM
This season has been one of the most outstanding seasons, the action and suspense followed through till the very last day and this is why i love the premier League. Big congratulations to Manchester city, it was a win for the whole of Manchester. Liverpool kept them on their toes all season long. Tottenham Hotspur totally deserve a place in the UCL next season, i will love to see how far they can go under conte. I will definitely miss the league for the next couple of weeks. Cry

What a game. What a season. At the end, the best side won. Mazel tov Manchester city. They played as a team and the win was well deserved. Gündoğan was absolutely fantastic. One of the best subs of the season. He gave the team a clinical finish when it was needed the most. I must say a big congratulations to Liverpool too. The team also played their hearts out. I do believe that Liverpool next season will be amazing season as well.
Congratulations to Manchester city. Pep finally got a compensation for his effort this season. The energy put up to hold on to the top position for so long wasn't in vain. Aston villa had almost deprived them of their title. İ. Gündoğan was indeed so fantastic and deserved man of the match

Liverpool also made a great turn up. The had an excellent performance as well. With good competitive points at least the made the last game challenging and exiting.
1251  Economy / Economics / Re: Using plants as a savings account on: May 21, 2022, 07:11:50 AM
Plant produce appreciate over time and it's most beneficial for perennial plants. Many still serve as exportable produce where it get even high value due to high demand from neighbouring countries. Agriculture has been the surest investment plan before oil and precious metals drifted the attention of investors
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 21, 2022, 07:02:17 AM
Could it be that your anxiety keeps triggering this hidden syndromes. I have been gambling for 2 years now although not regularly but still I haven't had any of the above syndromes. You could possibly pay close attention to your diets and also take a break to reexamine your health status before you decide if you will quit gambling or not
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 20, 2022, 03:42:17 PM
It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad
This is an unworthy and unjustifiable risk. One thing with uncontrolled gambling quest is that it won't stop giving hopes of recovering losses until the last dime is lost. This is not just about gambling an amount you can afford to lose but more on self control to know when to stop. The debt has to paid which ever way.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: If inflation is rising, why isn't crypto more valuable now? on: May 20, 2022, 02:37:27 PM
Asking a general question on why crypto isn't rising amid the inflation on major fiat currencies hope you know most crypto are shit coin. It will be more better if you narrowed your sampling method on Bitcoin alone at least that way you can evaluate with good statistical proof how much Bitcoin has grown in the past 4 years. Not to mention how  Bitcoin grew from $1 to $68k in a space of 14 years. Gold and other valuables has been since time memorial with steady centralized price manipulation yet Bitcoin still stands above $30k. Diversified portfolio could be the only way to satisfy your quest
1255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best investment for the next halving? on: May 20, 2022, 01:56:07 PM
Hi, I'm new to bitcointalk.
I'm only 15 years old and I'm Brazilian, I want to know which is the best long-term investment.

for the next bitcoin halving Huh
If you are already anticipating for the next halving then why not simply hodl bitcoin as you wait. There are lots of project that might have promissory ROI but to be on the safe side and avoid falling for scam project stick to Bitcoin except you are willing to do your personal research on other projects. The crypto world is full of volatile assets and to stay bullish on the volatile nature is what investors live up to and keeping up to this requires research and research before investing
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is scarcer than gold. on: May 20, 2022, 01:46:53 PM
BTC is scarcer than gold. I think one day 1 BTC will enter the $xxx, xxx zone then the $x,xxx, xxx HODL BTC
This analogy looks somehow accurate judging by the total Bitcoin that will ever come into existence and the amount that has been lost forever already,  we will find out that only 21million-3million=18million (in which more will still be lost) will ever be available for earth usage not including the more coin that will be lost as time keep flying . Hodling might just the only cure to catch up with the future Bitcoin price surprises
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causing victim to scam his family on: May 19, 2022, 04:25:05 PM
Both the bettor and Boyle Sports are at fault but i might not blame Boyle sport that much because the bettor allowed greed eat up his emotions. Going extra mile to scam a family member just to continue gambling is another level of addiction altogether. Gambling companies are profit seeking establishment too and not a charity organization they might want to go any length to keep their bettors regular and this is where discipline comes in on the path of the gambler
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [For newbies] Should you follow signals for trading? Newbies, have a look here! on: May 19, 2022, 04:02:53 PM
Signals generally are data analyzed based on past behaviour of the market trends and there are always likelihood this trends might repeat itself if certain candle stick formation occur at a specific point in every trend. I might not condemn the use of signal if it is not done in total isolation except it is used solely as a key strategy then it becomes a way of gambling. No one is perfect at predicting the market trend so this signals can serve as a confirmation or a reevaluation to an existing strategy anything outside this is tantamount to personal risk.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 19, 2022, 03:26:19 PM
Real Madrid played PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City to the finals I think Liverpool won't have survived if they had faced those teams.
Irrespective of the age and experience of the Madrid team, I think the club itself being a big club has a role in playing how formidable the team have been.  Liverpool team is quite younger, majority of them have been playing together for a while too. The difference between them and Real Madrid will be strong character and mentality.
That's right, Real Madrid have beaten strong teams to be in the final, PSG, Chelsea and also Man City. in terms of quality maybe Real Madrid lost to them it was evident in the game in possession but the mentality of Real Madrid was able to make them turn things around, therefore I think Real Madrid deserve to be champions of the UCL this season, after what they went through. it's very worth it.
The winning mentality is the only reason Real Madrid was able to advance to the final, when viewed from the quality side of the team, Manchester City and PSG are superior to Real Madrid. The consistency of the player's appearance is also an added value for Real Madrid, they are able to make comebacks in important matches. Previously Liverpool and Real Madrid had met in the same final, at that time Real Madrid won the trophy. Liverpool had another chance to avenge their defeat at that time, but Real Madrid would not be easy to beat.
And I would say it's not always a winning mentality to always win and be champions again, and considering Real Madrid can get rid of Manchester City and PSG in the second leg and Real Madrid lose in the first leg.
and I mean in the final there is only one game that I think there is a possibility Liverpool will win this season, unless there is a second game maybe Real Madrid will be champions because they can turn things around in the second game like against Manchester City and PSG, and I want Liverpool to win UCL this season.
If it comes to experience i will say Madrid is more experienced than Liverpool but using this as a criteria to predict who wins the CL finals might not be 100% accurate. Both teams share equal possibilities irrespective of what bookmakers make of their own predictions. For me the safest prediction i will make is Both teams to score but as for picking a winner i think Madrid stands a better chance based on their years of experience how no of trophies won compared to Liverpool
1260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to hold in peace on: May 19, 2022, 03:16:23 PM
Is it true that its wrong to hold coins for many years and never look back? Someone said coins can die in just two years, they can also lose demand and hype under a year, so how do one hold with zero worries?.
Every investment has a plan, no investor throws his asset lavishly on a project and fail to revisit it to check the outcome after a period of time. If you take shitcoin for example after investment it is wiser to have a time frame and expected ROI and once you get the expected you take your profit and wait for a new project to invest in. There are so many pump and dump project so if you can make a good analysis on them and have a period of taking off your profit you might not experience much crash
