481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: June 24, 2017, 08:59:31 AM

Almost 70% of the 30,000,000 OAX are sold as shown in the website and I think it will be sold out in this weekend, if so, the signature campaign will be over just on this Sunday?

I think if the tokens are not sold out this sunday and for example; all the tokens are sold in monday the campaign will continue till sunday I think the campaign will end at the week end where the tokens been sold out.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: June 23, 2017, 07:01:59 PM
How many casinos are there in your country, state or city? Any nearby ones that you frequent?

We have lots of casinos in our country in the city in the mainland. Because these countries are in the improvement process there are a lot of casinos that is being built there. last time when i've visited the city, there is a large ship shape building there and my uncle said to me that it is a casino, in the meantime I'm still a student and when i have some decent work plus being a bitcoiner, I will visit the casino in the cities.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 23, 2017, 01:35:38 PM
Satoshi's true identity may have been David Kleiman.

Unfortunately Kleiman died in 2013 and we may never know the truth or facts regarding whether he was Satoshi.

Here is an article on it.

https://seebitcoin.com/2016/05/everything-makes-sense-if-david-kleiman-was-satoshi-nakamoto-heres-why/

i dont know if the article is true or not but I think it would be hard to create a cryptocurrency and discover the blockchain technology if you have such complications. He shut himself down in this community and then faded though tin air. We are lacking so much evidence and this will be remain a mystery to me. If satoshi wont reveal himself before he leaves on earth this will become a myth in the future generations. Good article but I don't think that he is Satoshi.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: June 23, 2017, 09:07:30 AM
No, unless society is used with cashless/electronic payment method and most people have smart device with internet connection. Also, cryptocurrency is practically useless in poor country.

Not mentioning those countries with very very slow connections. Third world country is not ready with this prodect yet and smartphones are considered to be expensive in the third world. Because of slow internet connections and low quality of education people in poor countries barely know about how cryptocurrencies worl and what cryptocurrencies is. Maybe it can be used in countries like UK and Japan but some people are not ready for this yet.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the final number of bitcoins become a serious limitation? on: June 23, 2017, 08:30:31 AM
Even when all the coins will be mined many years distance from now it will not be a serious limitation. People will continue to trade and exchange this number of bitcoins and transaction will go on normally. I don't believe that all people then will hold bitcoins and not do transactions. At that far away time it is supposed that bitcoin to have become mainstream currency.

You're right. Even if we mined all of the BTC only the prices will grow because of its scarcity and when we are thinking about when all of us hold BTC and the number of transaction of it will fall because everyone used it as an investment then I think the price will go down forcing some of us to go on panic selling. In a few more years I think government will try to buy a large value of BTC and use it as a reserved.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: June 23, 2017, 04:57:04 AM
Hmm, I've heard that in some countries gambling is illegal so this will be hard for the people there to gamble, even online if they have that law then you're risking your life because you might go to jail. In some casinos they say that some strategies like card counting is prohibited but in some casinos it is not. Ive heard that Ben Affleck, a Hollywood actor is banned in some casinos because of card counting so I think location is one of the factors.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 23, 2017, 04:03:25 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Well last month when I was checking some computer parts in the hottest computer store in the city, a Korean billionaire invest and bought about 300 PCs of gtx 8gb for Cryptocurrency mining. The news in cryptocurrencies is spreading like wild fire. The billionaires are aware of these.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Years of Bitcoin, short version on: June 23, 2017, 03:43:08 AM
2018 - First official BankCoin are launched
2019 - Governments start to regulate Open/Public Blockchains and favor PRIVATE centralized BankCoins.
2020 - Open/Public Blockchains are banned in most countries.
2021 - Open/Public Blockchains goes underground and flourish on black markets.
2022 - Ban on Open/Public Blockchains are lifted, because governments are losing tax income and votes.
2023 - Bitcoin becomes the global reserve currency.

This is how I see it playing out in the near future, because governments think they can do what they want and will only realize what they have done, once they start losing votes.

I wonder what will be the first Bank coin that will be released. I'm excited to see it for myself. It will go down to lots of hearing ang trials in the court befire this can happen because as we all know mixing cryptocurrencies ang fiat though traditional banks are tough ( tho they are open in regulating it ). There is a storm coming when the government banned cryptocurrencies and 2023 the Bitcoin will be the global reserve? Oww I think it will be ten years or more but I'm sure BTC price won't just hit the moon, all if the stars too.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2017, 12:50:28 AM
I am trying to hold as much as I can. It ain't easy, I spend a bit when it is absolutely necessary to. I also think the bitcoin ecosystem needs people to spend, trade, exchange. Imagine if all the early adopters held their bitcoin.

True it's not easy. Sometimes you wish that you tried your money in alts that has skyrocketed, but still it's good to have BTC in a long time just don't try to get drag by the varying prices. Whatever the reason on why sometimes it's really down low won't change anything even if you know the reason. As a sideline worker here, I just have no choice but to watch the ecosystem far afar and going with the flow. This is a big club and I think I'm still not in the big club.

490  Economy / Speculation / Re: drop of the value... any reasons? on: June 15, 2017, 06:33:34 AM
Hi,
i'm trying to understand why all crypto and especially BTC is falling dow since 48h? It's because the fear of the segwit to come in several weeks? Is the chinese market trading low?...
I think this is currently the same big falling as the one of the previous 25 may.. it dropped of 33% in 4 days, now we see almost the same loss.. But i can't really know why.
Pierre
The reason is the Core/Blockstream are about to force a contentious fork on the blockchain.  This is about the same as a ship hitting an iceberg.  Maybe it will survive; maybe not.  But in either case, it is very fucking bad.

Blockstream thinks they own the blockchain and that they should be able to monetize all small transactions. They fucking ruined it.  Go buy Ethereum now.  Ethereum is the de facto world currency and monetary platform.  Even Microsoft (and many, many other important companies) is investing large teams of people to work on Ethereum integrations.  Ethereum is very well organized and moving forward with development.  Bitcoin has been infighting for 2 years now - making no progress at all.  How long are you going to wait around for a solution while the other platform flies like a rocket to the moon?  Bitcoin holders are fucked.  Especially once the fork hits.

Do you really think a two year Bitcoin war and those 'leaders' at Core are what you want to bet on? lol.  That is otherwise known as a 'pig fuck'.
Yeah bitcoin is basically fucked. I have invested most of my bitcoin in ethereum because it seems to be constantly rising in price.

If people are not careful, the Ethereum blockchain will be the primary vehicle for their economic enslavement. Im still sticking to BTC, and go to monero when things got tough. Just an opinion.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: June 14, 2017, 07:23:45 AM
It's not like that we don't like banks, some banks have terms and conditions when they are going bankrupt and government offers insurance to what's lost. But some thoughts are popping out our head because banks in the first place can't be trusted because government itself is being poisoned by curruption. Of course they are controlling our money because they can change the rate of dollars to Canadian money or vice versa to other Fiats. The thing here is we have no choice but to have a bank account especially when we are in the professional field because it is being used in all sorts of transactions. We gave block chain technology a try because we are given a path to a much better ways of payment unless block chain no the one who will run the block chain won't be poisoned by curruption.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: June 14, 2017, 06:47:30 AM
COLD STORAGE! COLD STORAGE! COLD STORAGE! An offline wallet cannot be accessed and consequently hacked.

Well said. The only problem here is how will you keep your cold storage safe. Well of course we all know that we can use flashdrives or hdd well we can best use ssd to have a longer life (approximately 80 years when stored in the perfect place). Paper money too is risky because it's easier to rot through time (ants, insects might ruin it). Well if you have the money then engrave it on gold but use it when you have a multi-million amount of BTC and you decided to really make it as a trasure of life that you can pass to new generations. Because we have not much transparency in the security and assurance of online wallets. BTC stored online is at risk.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are transaction delays crashing Bitcoin prices? on: June 13, 2017, 02:01:13 AM
I think it does not largely affect the BTC price, for example some of us are just using btc as an investment and its rare for us to transact large amounts, that's why we are not really affected by these slow transactions but this is a sign that this must be fix, especially when bitcoin is gonna be a world currency. A currency that must be used worldwide must be efficient and worry free in the speed of transactions.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 10, 2017, 02:49:32 AM
Im not using low fees, wallets that use low fees I think are low on security and I only send and transact BCT in larger amounts. Sometimes Im converting BTC to fiat and then send it as a fiat to avoid such fees. I hope that we will fixed these "FEES" problem because it is highway robbery just like the internet, if it will work these way then what is our difference in fiats in the real word?
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 10, 2017, 02:12:50 AM
Well this is a good idea, my mother is always doing that to avoid  extra expenses. Im not really a gambler because i only gamble when I want but and I will give this a try. The problem here is its not always up, there's some losses too, and i think its hard to deposit something when I have nothing to deposit at all.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for ideas to invest on: June 10, 2017, 01:28:54 AM
Well you can do altcoins here and trading but if you're thinking about something new then I can recommend mining. Its one of the oldest method to earn BTC yet there's still a lott of room to develop there. One of the complex ways because you need to learn programming ( hardware and software based ) and discover more things that are yet to be found there. Mining requires some big cash and knowledge but its worth it.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian's own Bitcoin - What will be the impact to the original Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2017, 11:27:48 PM
I think it will have a big impact on bitcoin. Russia as we all know is a very large country so when country with that scale create an altcoin the world will notice and be on watch in the world of cryptocurrencies because the russian government has its own way of resolving things. I think people will buy their coin if it the history repeats itself, in the end they will just go all to bitcoin resulting to a boost of its usage and a massive price hike.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i think bitcoin will not be common for small transcitions on: June 08, 2017, 01:10:42 PM
Fees are high today in microtransactions and waiting time is so slow but I think that's because only few companies are just creating wallets and if Bitcoin will be used worldwide many companies will offer a new wallet with no fees when in terms of microtransactions or I think government will take part of this and will issue some law regarding in the big and small transactions in cryptocurrencies.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SURVEY on the popularity of these ways to gamble. on: June 08, 2017, 12:48:52 PM
I like dice even before I was a kid, these type of game is being type in our town when there is a festival. Sports betting of course is on eof my favorites, I like Cristiano ronaldos team and Kawhi Leonard of Spurs ( too bad Spurs lost to GSW these 3017 playoffs ). Sometimes I check out chess games and because some of my friends are a fan of chess, we gamble on who will be the world champion
500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: June 08, 2017, 03:16:12 AM
By managing our emotions, this is the most things  happened to those people who don't have enough knowledge about trading, gambling
and etc. So for us to control our emotions it needs self discipline and self control.

I think having a enough knowledge aint enough, we all human have that animal instincts that make us crave to want more and to bet more. We cant completely control emotions especially when we are in the desperate need for money. Thats why sometimes we need someone to help us and tell us when is enough enough.

Emotions only have negative affect on trading. If you cant control your emotions you will get trapped in the charts. Traders need to accept proper decisions based on current market conditions and emotions dont let trader to act with fresh mind.
True, because it can result to panic selling and sometimes you can have mental blocks on what to do next resulting to a lot of mistakes ang huge loss of money. Negative emotions not only a burden in trading but in lot of work too and can ruin your whole day.
