Guys, today I was visiting some sports/news sites and I read a news article about Chet Holmgren's injury (to be more specific an update on his injury) and it said that he could return to the NBA maybe at the end of the season regular or early playoffs.
As incredible as it may seem, I tried to access this site again to view it more calmly, but it seems that the content was taken down... To be more specific, this news I had read was on the ESPN website.
Has anyone seen any news similar to this about Holmgren's injury!!?
Looking at the news before, Chet's injury is a season-ending injury. He might be able to play, as you mentioned in NBA's last few games or early playoffs but I'm sure OKC will not risk it. They will fully unleash Chet next season to make sure everything is smooth. For now, OKC will now rely on their current roster or maybe they have also other plans to sign other players before the trade deadline. |

Josh Reyes is the lead deputy of TNT in PBA that is why he is the one that subbed him during Chot's absence in Game 7. It is just unfortunate that their headcoach went under health protocols in the most important game of the season. In game 4 and 5, Josh is also out of the country to coach Gilas U-18 so assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga took the helm during that time. I think he did a good job considering TNT is riddled with injuries and undermanned.
Chot Reyes appearance really does matter on that Game 7. But the hell there's no reason or any detailed information why Chot put on health and safety protocols. TNT is not really complete in that game starting from their coaching staff to problems with their players because of injuries. Even though some are playing, we can't hide the fact that they are suffering pain in their body. TNT doesn't have a reliable big man and Erram got ejected early on in the game. That also gives SMB an advantage. |

GGG does not have to mind the trash-talk, he needs to focus on this fight and prove to the world that he can beat Canelo. Imagine if GGG will win here, that would give Canelo 2 losses in a row and will result in reducing his popularity. People will also remember that GGG is the better fighter between the two, so I understand why GGG is silent, it only says he will do the talking in the ring.
GGG is always silent and never we saw him badmouthing his opponent. Him being humble just want to prove his strength in the actual fight and not by words. GGG is also not the type of boxer that will return dirty talk. He will rather be silent about it and just wait for the result on the day of the fight. 5 lead by TNT at the end of the 3rd quarter, I can't believe how TNT return on their momentum and was even able to get the lead.

as this type of boxing match is still selling tickets, the promoters behind this activity will continue to take advantage of this situation. but would be nice if they are setting-up good exhibition matches and not just because of clear intentions of pocketing the money from the boxing community. from time to time, we need entertainment. but should at least worth our pennies. and not just pulled out from somewhere, where the "boxers" themselves are not ready to rumble inside the ring.
There's a risk too on the side of promoters as they should organize an exhibition match that is really living the hype. They can't just form a match randomly just because they want it. I do agree that there will be more people that will still support exhibition matches as long as those fighters involved are worthy to watch. A fight between a famous one against a non-popular one can also do the trick. I don't know but money is really flowing at exhibition matches. |

He needs to win here, but if he losses, there's no other way but to move up in weight, though it will not hype him but IMO, that's the right thing to do for him to be comfortable in maintaining his weight. He will have to start his journey in a new division and hopefully we will continue to support him.
What we are talking are just the possibilities, but it might change if he wins the rematch.
If he moved up after being defeated by Martinez, is there any fighter at the good rank that is willing to pick him up as an opponent? In most cases, a top-rank fighter will just choose an opponent within the top ranks too. But I have to agree with anyone here that no room to discuss the moving up for now. |

Celtics lost some firepower for next season as Gallinari has been diagnosed a torn ACL on his left knee. That's a nasty injury and he's likely to miss the entire season. He's not on superstar level but decent role player that can fill up the rotation which the Celtics badly needs.
What an unfortunate thing happened to him. It will now be the start of his playing performance going down on level.
