Almost all of the trading volume goes trought Poloniex and Kraken. On poloniex there's almost ONLY eth/btc volume, no eth/usd volume at all. Kraken actually has eth/usd volume but much smaller than eth/btc.
For me it means than NO FIAT MONEY is flowing in ethereum market cap, it's only that a few btc whales are shorting bitcoin to make money on ethereum pump and then to buy more btc with the profit.
AAAnd, one more time noobs will be fooled.

Arent you worried about BTC mining being centralised by 4 chinese people? Yes, but seperate topic. For me I remember the whole explosion of Bitcoin price at MtGox was driven by an internal exploit where they could buy bitcoin without spending any cash. For me I feel like half the volume is at poloniex, and a quarter is at Kraken. But other exchanges see like no volume. Just makes me leery thats all. Poloniex is quite trustworthy. And why would they pump ETH why not another coin? There are many other coins on the market at poloniex, much higher profits to be made pumping those ones. I believe you are just sour graping. You need to do some research on Ethereum instead of listening to the worthless opinions of bitcoinmaximalist trolls |

I have been seeing like this news a lot of time when ever a coin goes up, but i also believe that i have seen some coin which have been in upward for long time but after some time when the big players finished the game and left the coin in others hand. Last year in november i have seen same like this coin name DROP coin value going above 0.02 bitcoins but now you can see that coin valuse is only 0.00000893 and their is no trading also which ever coin comes you should profit and come out, dont keep for long like BTC because Btc is only coin which will survive for long time. You must be living under a rock. Maybe you're not reading the right information. ethereum blockchain is FAR MORE DECENTRALISED THAN BITCOINS and is about 65% of its hash power. It is growing fast and Ethereum is fully programmable allowing it to be adopted and used far more widely than BTC ever could. |

no. etherium can be a challenger but they will fail because without bitcoin there will no cryptocurrencies or altcoins. bitcoin keeps altcoins alive and bitcoin is accepted in some countries and in the world wide web as a currency. nothing will ever surpass bitcoin.
