I like that line of thinking. Basically he is buying CDS denominated in Goxdollars, which he'll exchange on Gox for CDS denominated in GoxBTC. Actually all money on any exchange (or either in a bank account) can be thought of as if it were a CDS - in the sense that it is a gamble on whether the exchange will honour their obligation to you. Am I correct here?

These kind of posts are a contrarian indicator and as such give me hope. (or not, depending on my malleable position)

1. Your coins are not hostage of the exchange anymore. Effect: releases selling pressure. Price stops falling sharply.
2. You might want to withdraw your coins. Effect: reduces supply of coins. Increases volatility. Price rises short term.

As for the medium term trend, no one knows whether today's punch up was strong enough to cause a reversal or not. Stay tuned.

After purposely generating the FUD, Gox is using "liquidators" to trade goxcoins for realcoins.
So that they can shit on everyone and yet come out clean later.
