481  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: PREDICTION GAME - ETH PRICE! on: April 21, 2019, 05:14:12 AM
ang speculation ko po ay papalo ang ethereum ng 250$ at the end of may, matagal pa lalabas ang bullrun para sa akin kaya 250$ ang pinili ko.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A city in Canada is letting people pay taxes in Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 04:49:42 AM
i don't think it's a good idea to pay taxes with bitcoin, if your holding bitcoin as an investment i think its best to pay with fiat, unless you don't have enough money, any adoption to bitcoin is good for cryptocurrency, soon it will spread to neighboring countries and probably the world next.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS WORLD - Invoice trading platform - PPT on: April 20, 2019, 02:59:47 PM
I write a post regarding bounty allocation computation. You guys can check it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5100378.msg50470226#msg50470226

I expected the manager to have address this confusing calculation by now but unfortunately there is no response from the bm which is not appropriate, there are 2 different allocation of the bounty pool on bounty thread and on populous.world page,
it is quite confusing because non of the hunters knows the allocation, you just can't leave hunters to keep guessing what the allocation is, a little clarification won't hurt anyone.
Anyways bounty is ending now and we can only hope to see what the real allocation is and participants rewards.

Update
-------------
Just check the spreadsheet and saw the allocation of signature, i guess it's clear what is allocated. In addition i commend BM for his prompt update on spreadsheet even though communication is a bit short, it was a pleasure campaigning for populous.
Hope there will be notification of when to remove sig code. Thanks

As per the spreadsheet, you can remove your signature on April 10, 2019.
The allocation of signature campaign is only 20,000 as written in the spreadsheet, OP did not explain about the percentage and the amount of tokens discrepancy.

But according to total percentages they mentioned in the bounty thread is 70000 and they allocated higher percentage for signature campaign but the allocation will be 30000 not the 20000, from the begining of the bounty he is not answering to the question.

Total PPT allocated – 75,000 for XAUp bounty campaign. Bounty pool allocation Participants:Bitcoin Talk signature campaign, 40% bounty pool Twitter campaign – 30% bounty pool LinkedIn campaign – 30% bounty pool. All details were mentioned in the bounty thread on BTT as well as populous forum
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5100378.0
https://forum.populous.world/index.php/topic,32.0.html

It is very strange that the manager is silent and does not clarify the numbers in this project.
On the official website some numbers here are other numbers. Considering how many people on the forum are involved, this is important.
In general, this company brings gives new people learn about the project. Volumes on exchanges have grown several times.

Until now we didn't get any answer regarding correct bounty allocation. It looks like what's in the spreadsheet will be the correct bounty allocation.

And the distribution will start tomorrow which is indicated in the spreadsheet.

Well the way i see it, the allocated amount on the signature is what the bounty manager already indicated on the bounty spreadsheet, if there were to be any update about the bounty pool that would have been done from the beginning when participants already pointed it out, but BM did not respond to it and participants still went ahead to campaign, i think already made it clear what the allocations are.
we would have our answers tomorrow, whether the allocation is 50k PPT or 75k PPT both would be fine for me as long as they pay us, im already tired of scams.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KRAKEN DELISTING BSV, We are all Satoshi on: April 20, 2019, 02:49:24 PM
Not sure how to feel about this, the delisting is giving more credability to BCH as it continues to rise because investors are leaving SV.  Some say its a free market when exchanges choose what to list but this shows how much power they truly have.  They can work together to destroy a coin which is pretty scary.
Not really, for what I'm holding as a mindset that I got from this forum, BCH is like BSV and it is like a shitcoin. Since, it is a fork it is considered as shitcoin.

I dont get the idea why you call BCH is like BSV as shitcoin. What is your criteria to say a coin is a shitcoin?
BCH is top 4 coin currently, I dont even think a shitcoin can be even in top 100. Generalize a fork coin as a shitcoin is just unreasonable.
both bcash and sv is labeled as bitcoin and they claim to be and people being stupid just believed them and they keep spreading bullshit about their fake bitcoin and more people believed which why both of the shitcoin made into top 100, dont under estimate the stupidity of humans.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC requirements on BitcoinTalk Bounty Campaigns Become Worst! on: April 20, 2019, 02:38:30 PM
dont join those type of campaign, and also dont give out your personal information to them, more and more bouny campaign will encourage to do KYC, if you do give your information, and i want escrowed bounty campaign to be a thing to prevent bounty hunters to being scammed, usually they add KYC at the end of campaign which is equivalent to scam for me atleast.
486  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Win in gambling, lose on investing on: April 20, 2019, 02:21:02 PM
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2019, 02:09:12 PM
there's no such thing as a realistic prediction of the price, unless you came from the future, if there would be the person will keep the prediction for himself/herself, i would do the same too if i know what would be the price in the future.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DESCROW SECURE CROWDFUNDING PLATFORM on: April 20, 2019, 02:03:52 PM
any news about the project, there has been no updates since last year, im sure most of the investors are worried right now because of slow development of the project.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRTL] TurtleCoin - Cowabunga Dudes! on: April 20, 2019, 12:14:57 PM
turtlecoin is doing very well when you look at the volume for a coin that isn't established yet, im sure it will be in the future, coins that are top 200 below is having a terrible volume compare to turtlecoin, when he next bullrun appear im sure turtlecoin volume will skyrocket, same goes for the price.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore! on: April 20, 2019, 12:02:17 PM
I think rebranding and moving away from Bitcoin is a good idea in general too.
i think that is a good idea since most people here in forum are looking down to altcoins that has a brand of bitcoin, since most people see it as a scam which can hurt bitcore, it wouldn't hurt if they rebrand themselves.
491  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q2-[GAME PRIZE] on: April 20, 2019, 11:39:35 AM
We hovered around 65xx and then 35xx for ages, drop to 3x came without any real reason. Now some millionaire bought 100mil worth of BTC and the rise to 5xxx came with no reason. Conclusion? There is no reasoning with BTC, it just acts like it does, TA can rarely follow it. I don't think we'll have any more major pumps this year but who knows.
Thank you for visiting here in our local brother, I also heard this that there some millionaires bought a huge amount worth of bitcoin gladly to know from you. Thank you for such a good explanation as well.

Good luck Wink

ang prediction ko sa price ay : 5800$ usd
Mate sorry you have been chosen already taken predicting the amount. Please resubmit another one.

hyunee $5800 is the same as your entry.
kukunin ko nalang ang 5900$, baka mas tataas yung price dahil within a month yung time frame.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Construction Company Turned Mining Firm Lost Over $23 Millions on: April 20, 2019, 11:32:59 AM
they could have just expand their company to be both construction and mining company, no need to go all in, having more eggs in the basket is better, it backfired them at the end of the day, if there were only patient to expand as both it wouldn't turn out like this.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💥🚀[ANN] ATHERO| IOT |INTERNET OF BLOCKCHAINS| AIRDROP | 🚀💥 on: April 20, 2019, 11:07:09 AM
Project reputation is dead if team not come back before end of this month then accept another loss of $19 million.    Tongue
loss of $19 million? are you sure of that? $19 million is the number written on the website during the ICO, but we have never seen directly at the address of the BTC or ETH, how much the total funds collected, I think it could be that the funds collected are far less than that  Tongue
thay could be true, maybe, most of the ico's right now dont even reveal which address is theirs so we cant investigate how much they actually received, if they dont pay today we need to open a scam accusation against athero.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Track and Trace on: April 20, 2019, 07:41:39 AM
Minimizing legal and financial exposure seems the direction that crypto is moving. Companies like Ciphertrace have discovered that more than $760m in crypto was stolen from exchanges so far this year. Do we allow this to happen or do we allow companies to step in to help stop these criminal acts?
We can't simply do anything about the hackers, we users have no control of the security of the exchange, it simply up to exchange if they secure the funds of the traders, or possibly they stole the money from the traders, which we have no control, we just hope for them to be caught.

Yes we have no power to control the security of exchanges but we can minimize the possibility to lose our assets. That's by not storing our assets in exchanges for long time. Just use exchange whenever we want to exchange our asset or whenever we want to trade. Storing assets always better by using our own wallet where we have a full control of it.

The exchange should also provide private keys for each wallet we created from the exchange, even if the website is down we would be able withdraw our coins out from their wallet, storing coins using our wallet is the safest but there are times the exchange wouldnt allow users to withdraw.
495  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q2-[GAME PRIZE] on: April 20, 2019, 07:30:16 AM

496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best source for learning about bitcoin in hindi/urdu on: April 20, 2019, 07:18:50 AM
With reference to gaining a fundamental understanding of  bitcoin, Language Barrier is one element which is often over-looked.

Bitcoin's Whitepaper published by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 is fundamental to understanding bitcoin and blockchain technology.

If you want to learn about bitcoin in simple terms and understand the bitcoin whitepaper in urdu/eng, This is one of the best sources:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmusvimRKWk

Check it out and let me know what you think!

Definitely language barrier is a problem can be a cause why cryptocurrency has not yet reached other people. That is why it is quite good that people all over the world had started making thwir own reviews an insight about cryptocurrecy/bitcoin in their local language. Also the reason why translators are needed by developers to be able to reach-out investors which cannot be reached due to language barrier.
Accessibility also , not all people have access to internet which mostly people from third world countries, not all people also can't afford to buy a smartphone let alone a computer, and also most of the people that even have access to internet don't even know what bitcoin is let alone cryptocurrency.

498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John "fucking" McAfee: I will reveal Satoshi on: April 20, 2019, 07:10:36 AM
People should stop giving this man attention, he's just spreading bullshit, if he knows who satoshi is he should reveal it right away and not make a sequel to his twitter post, he didn't even re-read his post just misspell a word, showing he is just shitposting in his twitter account like he usually do.
499  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit sig camp? Legit or not? on: April 20, 2019, 07:01:05 AM
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 20, 2019, 06:41:08 AM
Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).
faucets still exist but i think the reward is very low compare before, if you think there's no much fun with bitcoin anymore if you dont count gambling and trading as fun i think you better go to altcoins, you should check out blockchain games if your looking for fun and you can also earn at the same time, you should also explore different altcoins maybe you will find something interesting about the coin.
