I just hate scam accusations. If someone sent funds to this site, you were stupid. It was clear from the start that they wouldn't last long. And if people would quit being stupid and financing these sites, they would stop popping up. This greed running rampant across cryptos is what is destroying the community. This "holy crap, I can get rich in just 2 weeks by handing someone money!" idea is asinine.

Which is not a small task. Releasing a Whitepaper is my first priority. Making sure all the mathematical equations are correct for the whitepaper. After that the Viacoin roadmap. However without the anon whitepaper, the roadmap wouldn't be good. So whitepaper first. ClearingHouse: I didn't see any interest from people in the clearinghouse except some old holders who demanded to login again on the server (which is now possible). So the clearinghouse isn't my first priority on the list. I made it possible for people to export their keys etc and kept the server alive. It got delisted from Poloniex before I became the new dev. Does the community/you have an idea how to make CH attractive again? Trades can be made on clearwallet.co but not on Poloniex or Bittrex. Which makes it very hard to attract new people. At least, we can return to this issue after the successful development of VIA under your leadership. Is not it? Why look to romanornr for leadership, regarding XCH? I am a trader mainly and have least knowledge about this project. The above update, is it good for maid ? as a trader I do care about the price. Will there any positive effct on price of Maid after the updated news ? As a trader, you should be taking notice of phrases like...."...discussing improvements...", "We are also thinking about....", "There are multiple approaches we are looking at, and were planning to have a detailed discussion...". Doesnt seem like the time to be trading development news, IMO. |

To sum it up, BitBay's peg must be classified as a trust based peg, and has chosen the safer version -a soft peg. The rest is micro economics -supply and demand. The revolutionary concept is that it is decentralized! Every other peg is centralized, i.e., controlled and/or dependent on one person or group of persons. If he/they fail, the peg fails!
For me, a peg becomes the all encompassing reason a given instrument exists, meaning, it becomes so important, if the given peg fails, all confidence in the underlying instrument drains away fast. And then whatever news/updates/current development going on at that time becomes very secondary, to re-instating the peg. And even if its achieved, that confidence takes a while to return, if ever. Interested to see how this pans out. |

So the Coinomat asset on the NXT platform was apparently abandoned by Sasha. In June the last thing he said is that the asset needs to regroup, no dividends since. By switching to Ardor in 1.5 weeks most of the assets will be burned. Including both Coinomats. I have a hefty percentage of those, back then I was thinking this was the most solid asset on NXT. And hey what do I see now, no payouts in 4 months, price is close to nothing and virtually no support till 1 NXT. ONE. If this is how Sasha handles his projects, I'll just dump whatever I have in Waves for as much as I can get. Regrouping ha? I call it scam big time.
He said he would be selling Coinomat (the company) in his AMA. I dont know if he sold or not, but if theres no company left, there will be no divs to pay. Seems he hasnt sold it....
