481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: July 21, 2018, 07:59:09 PM
Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!
I became interested in cryptocurrency is because of curiosity on how people earning money with it, then i started reading articles about cryptocurrency and in bitcoin and started investing my money and trading. And i also think that most people became interested in cryptocurrency because of its value.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: July 21, 2018, 07:50:35 PM
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?
Bounty campaigns are extending because they do not achieved the softcap and they think they could achieved it if they extend the bounty campaigns. Many investors lost their interest in investing in ICO because of this cases that is why it is risky to participate in bounty campaigns.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: July 21, 2018, 07:45:55 PM
Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc. Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me? Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.
It is true that cryptocurrency is spreading all over the world because a lot of people are interested to earn cryptocurrencies. Even celebraties are investing their money in cryptocurrencies because of curiosity and so they could huge profit.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 15, 2018, 02:28:50 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?
There are a lot of hackers nowadays, so i think there are some cryptocurrency wallets that can be hacked by hackers. For you not to be hacked by hackers better becareful and never give any information to an untrusted person because they may used it to steal all of your cryptos.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are. You leaving crypto? on: July 15, 2018, 02:05:50 PM
I am seriously considering it.
There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!

In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!
No i will not leaving crypto because it helps me in a lot of things since i started using cryptocurrency like it helps me to pay all of my bills and providing the needs of my family. Cryptocurrency is important to me that is why leaving it is a big loss to me.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 15, 2018, 01:52:26 PM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?
Its true that the market is so weak, so i think the best thing to do is to have a patience to wait all of its price to increase because i believe it will all have a better value in the near future especially bitcoin and other great altcoins lile ethereum, litecoin and etc.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain will help Economy. on: July 15, 2018, 12:24:24 PM
A good example of a blockchain helping economy is JAPAN. Now, take note that japan is already a rich country with a good GDP but still manage to boosts its economy a bit more since they adapt the blockchain technology. Hopefully this will be an eye opener to others too to adapt rather than forbid the said technology.
I also believe that blockchain technology will help the economy and a good example for it is japan because if you look the country japan there are less people who don't have any jobs or source of income, so if every country have blockchain technology they have a big chance to have a great economy.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: July 15, 2018, 09:36:56 AM
any body know the reason for current drop?
In my own personal opinion, many coins are dropping because a lot of people start to sell their coins instead buying it and there are a lot of countries who started to banned bitcoin that these coins also starts to lose its investors.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: July 15, 2018, 09:24:27 AM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.
I believe that bounty campaigns are not a waste of times because there are still worth it, even the campaign takes to 2 to 4 months as long it becomes successful. The only problem in bounty campaigns sometimes the campaign is not successful or a scam that usbwh6 a lot of people complains with it.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: July 15, 2018, 08:16:18 AM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
In my own personal opinion, the price of bitcoin is rapidly going down because there are some countries who just started to banned bitcoin and there are false news in social medias that bitcoin is just a scam, which is not really true. People do this such things because they do not believe in bitcoin and in cryptocurrency that bitcoin can help the economy.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: July 15, 2018, 08:09:38 AM
This is a common thing happens in different countries where the government mandatory give assistance to there citizens with disability, and the sad truth is that the assistance from government is not enough.

This is the perfect time to introduce bitcoin to persons with disability by doing this they don't need to rely only on government assistance, because they are now started to earn there own money to support their needs.
I think people who has disabilities can be able to used bitcoin because there are no such certain requirements when you are about to use bitcoin, so they could provide all the things that they need without relying the help of their own government.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 15, 2018, 08:00:32 AM
I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.

I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)

Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?
I think older people like investing in gold and silver because most of them are not interested and do not trust bitcoin and gold and silver has a good value in a long years, that is why older people would to buy these kind of precious metals especially gold.

494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2018, 05:29:19 PM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?
In my own personal opinion, banks and governments are scared of bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized that the government could not control bitcoin and thinks that they could replace banks in the future.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 17, 2018, 05:11:06 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

People study economics to know how money works and the economy works that is why there are a lot great entrepreneurs in every country. Bitcoin is also related in economics that is why it is really important that you have knowledge about economics.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: June 17, 2018, 05:08:01 PM
The rule that only accredited investors, which means people who are already wealthy, are allowed to participate in certain ICOs is senseless imo. It's like saying "YOU'RE NOT WEALTHY YET, SO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WEALTHY." Stupid society, with obsolete rules, we're living in.

Disclaimer: I'm not a US citizen, and I've not read that law
I think it has a point how would you participate or would invest in ICOs if your not that wealthy enough to do that because you don't have enough earning. Poor people need to work enough for them to become rich and to do whatever they want, so they could not be judge by other people.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late? (To buy Bitcoin now) on: June 17, 2018, 04:37:29 PM
No, it's not late yet or let's say it's never too late to buy a bitcoin. In what I read, today is a good time to buy bitcoin because soon it will rise again and many investors will place their money, the market will grow and you'll get a good income.
I believe it is not too late to buy bitcoin today because bitcoin has a cheap price for now. It is a good thing that you will biy bitcoin in a low price and sell it in a higher price for you to earned huge profit. I also hope that bitcoin will increase its price once again and other cryptocurrencies.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 17, 2018, 04:24:25 PM
I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

In my own personal opinion, i think even there are a lot of coutries who banned bitcoin, there are still countries who believes that bitcoin is very beneficial to every individual and helpful to the economy. I think in the future countries who banned bitcoin will changed there mind and start using bitcoin as well.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: June 17, 2018, 04:17:40 PM
Just curious to read some addict or former addict stories and probably some of us like me will be glad to see how things actually did roll in for them during this period and I believe some other persons tending towards that path can also learn from it. Also, if you have a friend or relative you can speak for, it would be appreciated.

Personally, this is what I would like to know though.

1. How did you find yourself ending up to become an addict? What instigated it to the point that you just found yourself not being able to control the impulse any longer? What was the feeling like and during those period of being an addict, did you know and were you willing to pop out of it?

2. What were the steps you took or the steps you are taking to get out from it, and on the scale of 1 to 10, how can you rate how you are doing now?

3. For those who are out of it, do you still gamble or still wish you could? In the case where you are still gambling, how do you want to make sure what happened initially does not end up repeating itself.

4. Any other thing you feel you can add is welcome.
Well. I got addicted in gambling when i start playing with my friends and cousins at the casino everynight we all go to the casino to gain profit and expecting to win a lot of money. Until i end up bankrupt that i have used all of my saving in my bank accounts just to play gambling. Then me and my friends decided to stop playing gambling because it given us a bad habit. We stop playing by jist focusing on working on our jobs and working out at the gym for to keep ourselves busy and get away from gambling.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: June 17, 2018, 03:35:19 PM
In his own reddit AskMeEverything page, https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/80ow6w/im_bill_gates_cochair_of_the_bill_melinda_gates/

He answers about cryptocurrency stating
“The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Government’s ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

I believe bill gates is not the only one who says bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are bad. There are a lot of billionaires and millionaires who says bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are bad because they think it doesn't have any good effects in the economy.
