It's not only 11 points difference, it's also the 11 win in a row, they are king in Serie A. Or another statistic: It was the 13 win in 15 game in the league and with Victor Osimhen they have the best scorer with 9 goals in 11 games. I know in other countries (Spain, England) this is not so good, but in Italy this is currently the best.
Napoli proved itself as an unbeaten team for 15 consecutive matches. 13 wins and only 2 draws have made Napoli really solid at the top of the standings by collecting 41 points. Obviously they are the best team right now in Laliga based on their performance, but because the league is still very long, some changes after the world cup break are still very likely to make their performance drop.
[/quote]

It was a hardfought victory for Napoli, as they head into the worldcup break with atleast 8 ppoint gap at the top of the italian serie a. A good performance away from home today for the team. With other top teams in italy having a poor season; it could be a good time to win the league again

Graham Potter again failed to give Chelsea victory. This time they fell at St James Park. Successive defeats made the Blues free fall to eighth. I saw Potter as if he was under a lot of pressure and it was very difficult to get out of a bad situation. It seems that Potter is not ready to handle a big team like Chelsea, he is still completely poor in experience and lacks creativity on the field, it is evident that his tactics often change every week so it is very difficult for the players to understand. He had to take advantage of the World Cup break to find the right formula to bring Chelsea back to the top flight. If not then he will be remembered as Chelsea's worst manager.

Its now back to back to back losses for Potter at chelsea; and i think they have failed to find the back of the net in atleast 4 games in a row now. Would potter get the sack or be trusted to turn the tide around? Its getting  tighter and scarier for Chelsea team. Their top 4 hopes is fading away too

Looks like ManU got its revenge from Aston Villa days after their defeat against them in EPL. Today they won 4-2 which made it a good one.
The most surprising results these days remain imo Arsenal defeat by Brighton then Spurs failure vs Nottingham and West Ham 10 penalties defeat against Blackburn...

It was a good win for Manchester united as the proceed to the next round of the cup competition; A fightback against Aston villa to win the tie with 24 goals to 2 in what was a thrilling tie at old Trafford. VDB failed to impress again, and i do not think he will get more chances; while the midfield pair of mcfred did their bits. Maguire also had a solid game. In the 4th round of the carabao cup, Man Utd hosts Burnley

French Lequipe is reporting that Benjamin Pavard is interested in leaving FC Bayern and wants to play in a "new country".

"Why not discover a new country?" - Benjamin Pavard told @lequipe when asked about his future. The Frenchman has opened the door to the possibility of leaving Bayern [@Tanziloic]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1590774929880125440

For FC Bayern, a transfer of Pavard would be a bitter loss. The Frenchman has become a central piece in Bayern's defence. However, I really hope the player and the club come to an agreement somehow and he extends his contract for another few years. What do you guys think?

performance wise, it has not been a good time for parvard at Bayern munich, he has struggled most of his time there and it seem like his performances has dipped too while as a defender, there are little signs of development. I think a move away from Germany would help him rejuvenate his stunted growth. It would be a good move for both sides

Newcastle - Chelsea is one of the interesting matches of the week. Newcastle are still shown as the favourite side to be victorious here. There is no problem with that at all because Chelsea are in a really bad condition these days. They are still struggling to win matches and their current streak is 4 weeks now. Potter is so desperate as he can't find a way to make this team stand up and fight. They aren't like this only against big teams in the league. It is the same against smaller ones as well.

In this situation, I just can't deny the fact that Newcastle are quite likely to defeat them in this match. They have defeated not only average but also big teams in the league so far. While Chelsea are in a bad shape this is a nice chance for Newcastle to get another win and make their winning streak five matches.

Right now on paper, it looks like a defeat already for the Chelsea team. hey are unable to get it right under their new gaffer Potter and are struggling with injuries and performances. Meanwhile Newcastle united are flying high at the moment, with low goals conceded and a shout at top four chance's, odds are on Newcastle united to win

I really wonder why many football fans think that bayern munchen will be the favor team in this match, psg is very strong right now and the fact that they qualified in the second spot this really don't mean anything, i expect Bayern munchen to win and qualify for the next round

The truth is that Bayern munich are strong favorites; not just because they are Bayern munich but the fact that they have a complete quality squad. To add context, Bayern got 18 points from a group of Barcelona, Inter and maccabi. psg could not even top their group. The PSG VS Bayern tie will be won in the midfield; whoever dictates the play over the 2 legs win the knockout round

I was wondering about this, why is Liverpool being sold? while Liverpool performed very well in the English league and also in the UEFA Champions League. In my opinion, it's a shame to sell Liverpool because in Liverpool's game it really looks very good, I believe it will backfire for Liverpool owners if it is really sold, because so many investors are interested and waiting to buy Liverpool.

I do not think it will backfire for the owners, they would be getting good value for a club of Liverpool side. If Liverpool can get the right owners; they are able to continue on their trajectory and become even a better team. The Liverpool squad needs new rich owners to compete. Selling the club is a good move

BREAKING:Southampton have decided to sack Ralph Hasenhuttl.

(Source: The Athletic UK)

I know that many English clubs will begin to sack their coaches especially as Emry just arrived Aston Villa and got an immediate result.
EPL is full of competition this season and it is also full of surprises. No one is safe.

This news is one of the most boring one in football lately haha. With the Southampton boss getting sacked literally every match day and nothing going on officially. I think the management believes the coach can turn it around.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 05, 2022, 08:02:31 PM

The PSG squad is now more organized and stronger than at the start of the season. At the start of the season, PSG had a lot of problems internally. But gradually Galtier managed to solve all the problems. And the important thing is that Messi is in great form. If Messi, Neymar and Mabppe play well, PSG will get good results against any team. And so I think PSG are more favorites for the title this season than City. But all have strong squads. So it is not easy for any team to win the title

So far the psg team or squad has done nothing spectacular in the champions league this season. They could not even top their group and scored most of the group game goals against the farmer team in Maccabi. It feels as though they will be knocked out in the  next round

Watching everton game and it's entertaining but they're losing at home to Leicester city. Everton keeping the pressure on but the visitors keep holding them down with good game strategy. Frank Lampard is not happy with the results he's having and Leicester already won the game because 3 minutes extra time is been added but the home side can't get a single goal in the their home. So happy to see Leicester fans cheering in the stadium because they have been so good at away games. Several big chances were missed by the both sides, that's it, the referee blow the final whistle for the game, Everton neil and Leicester two.

At the end, it was a deserved 2 goal victory for Leicester city who built on the Tielesman long range strike at the stroke of half time and left the merseyside with valuable 3 points. It was a good performance from both teams who are struggling to stay clear of relegation battles

This week's Premier League will feature a match between Chelsea and Arsenal. Whether this will be efficient enough for Chelsea or not, Arsenal is currently unstoppable with the acquisition of big points in every game and they are certainly ready to face Chelsea.

One thing about premier league big games/fixtures is that present form does not matter at all. Just as Arsenal could not outrun Manchester United despite their very good form, it could be the same when they face Chelsea this weekend. Chelsea are really struggling today, but the case could be different when they face local rivals. I think a draw would be a fair results for both sides

PosNomeGoal
1  Marko Arnautovic  7
2  Victor Osimhen  7
3  Ciro Immobile  6
4  Khvicha Kvaratskhelia  6
5  Lautaro Martínez  6
6  Dusan Vlahovic  6
7  Nicolò Barella  5
8  Boulaye Dia  5
9  Paulo Dybala  5
10  Beto  5
11  Ademola Lookman  5
12  MBala Nzola  5
13  Mattia Zaccagni  5
14  Rafael Leão  5

the ranking changes a little, now in first position we have a Napoli player with 7 goals
Ciro Immobile, given the injury, is stopped at 6, we hope he will be back to play soon

I think this has been an impressive season for Victor Osinhmen of Napoli, despites missing about 6 weeks of games already this season; he remains with 7 goals. This is a wonderful return for the Nigerian Talisman. Tonight he has another chance to increase his goal tally in the champions league group game against Liverpool.

Also, Rafael Leao continues his fine form. a top right winger!!!

This is a very open group stage in the UEFA Champions League this season and i would love to argue that it is the closest this season haha. As it stands, Any of Tottenham, Sporting, Frankfurt and Marseille could qualify from the group. Who are you supporting ? Reasons ?

Graham Potter's arrival still hasn't changed much about Chelsea.

They are still a struggling team in the Premier League. The 4-1 loss against Brighton was completely unacceptable. Potter should have prepared the right strategies easily for this game as he newly left Brighton. But he just messed up big time. After two weeks of a break I would have expected Chelsea to get a win. It is still early to judge Potter maybe but I started to think that Klopp wasn't the main problem. To change my mind, Chelsea need to make a big improvement. They can start doing this by a winning streak lasting as much as possible. They are 10 points away from the leader already now.

i THINK Chelsea major problem this season is about personnel, the Chelsea squad is not entirely good making it difficult for any manager to implement new tactics and achieve desired result. yet, Potter putting pulisic and sterling as wing back was a tactic that backfired against the very technical side Brighton. With players returning to fitness, Potter can turn this around

I only have a question for you.

When they will sack Klopp?

I know he won everything, and he deserves respect but the situation is a disaster.

To me he is still there only because the decent Champions League he is doing

I think Klopp will get sacked at the end of the season; it been a tough start to the season for Klopp and his Liverpool players; and yes this is due to Liverpool recruitments failure to upgrade their starting 11 and also provide squad depths for the season. I think the worldcup break will give Klopp a chance to turn things around

Valencia 0 - 1 Barcelona

lewandowski saved barcelona from a defeat, at 90 + 3 minutes he scored a goal, without a doubt the best thing that barcelona did was to sign lewandoski

This is a good win for struggling barcelona side; who has now gone level on points with real madrid that plays tomorrow. Xavi ofcourse has a lot to do to get the team to get better results and performances; but so far, lewandoski is bailing out the team and they are getting neccesary points. Real Madrid host girona tomorrow; and i expect a comprehensive victory from the Galaticos

From pure dominance in first leg to pure incompetence in second leg, Arsenal won 1-0 and then lost 2-0 and it could have been even more. What's happening with this team really, they allowed the Southampton game to get to them I think although the signs were coming that they couldn't hold on to their high levels.

Even the goals from Jesus is drying up, damn.

@trendcoin English commentators always hate to see this type of skill thing. I love it though, but as long as it's useful. If it's just 100 stepovers for nothing it's boring and stupid. This particular one kinda looks useless, it's so far away from defender lol

I do not think arsenal troubles in front of goals in the past 3 games is anything related to incompetence; i think otherwise that the young squad is simply exhausted and tired after the long run of games they have played given that there is no depth in squad. The big question now is that will arteta be able to fix this? and keep the squad form excellent ? or is this another arsenal slip during the course of the season ?
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 28, 2022, 09:57:25 AM
The problem is Arsenal FC seems to be doing everything right, I think they were just unlucky to lose to Manchester United the other time. This season appears to be theirs. Their game quality and grits has greatly increased. However, I don't think they will win the league but I expect them to be more competitive than before. Honestly speaking, I don't see them dropping points this weekend.

No derspect to Nottingham but it will be surprisedly if they get a win off Arsenal. I will rather stick with Arteta's Arsenal that appears to be a rejuvenated team this season.

I think it is wrong to say that Arsenal were unlucky against Manchester United, no that is wrong, Arsenal was clearly ousted tactically in that tie. And yes this does not take anything away from the excellent performance Arsenal have had this season. Also; the loss to PSV is the unlucky one, Arsenal dominated the entire match and only lacked sharpness in front of goal. The tie against Nottingham will be a draw or loss for Arsenal.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 06:41:23 PM

Chelsea have dominated it all now,

At the end, the dominance paid off as Chelsea were deserved winners away at Salzsburg. The 2-1 victory for chelsea takes them to 10 points and means Chelsea has confirmed their place in the champions league round of 16 tie. The group meanwhile remains open between salzsburg, ac milan and dinamo zagreb

Half of the team is missing  Grin

Gonna be a Mission impossible in Portugal for Juventus.

Bremer
Paredes
Di Maria
Pogba
Chiesa

Out

It would be a great feat and victory if allegri is able to get a result in portugal with the juventus team. With discipline and good counter attacking tactics, i think juventus does have a chance in their champions league tie. With champions league group qualification at stake for Juventus, i bet they will give it all their fight.
