481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just going to $100,000 now? on: August 08, 2017, 04:48:56 AM
1btc = $ 100k, impossible. Will wait 5years for a decade, to reach $ 100k worth of money

That is really impossible, we are not even reaching the price half of 10K this year, and don't assume that we will be reaching the ten times more. I think we just need to enjoy the price this month, who knows, it may pump more in the other month.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying Jack & Jill in same tx - do they see the other payee & change balance? on: August 07, 2017, 09:20:47 PM
Say Julie pays Jack and Jill 0.10 BTC each in the same transaction, from an address with 2 BTC in it. Can Jack and Jill both see that the another address got paid, and that Julie has ~1.8 BTC left over? Am I understanding that right?

I think if Julie paid .10 each of Jack and Jill, 1.8 will be the estimating balance of Julie because there will always be a fee. Also, if you want to check someone's address, you can check the site of Blockchain.info. You can put their address and see it yourself, though there are timesthat it can't be seen in blockchain like my wallet where I have 0 balance but the truth is I have a balance in my wallet.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck BitcoinCash on: August 06, 2017, 12:52:50 PM
Fuck BitcoinCash, but, uhm, thanks also. That was free money that you gave us.  Wink

If you think of it, having a bitcoin cash is not free. You bought or maybe save your bitcoins in a wallet (exchanger or not). I don't but maybe you have earned them through bounties or sig camps or gambling or maybe bought it. So you can't say that you earned it for free.
484  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: August 04, 2017, 11:12:05 PM
He identifies as male but gave birth to all life according to the bible. So he is probably a transgender male like the pregnant man, Thomas Bettie in Oregon!!!

He is a male, and give birth to all life but not literally as you've said. Gave birth means gave life or created our life here in the Planet. Also, if He is a not a male, then He will be called a Godess, if He is a transgender then He is a Hen.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: August 04, 2017, 03:53:08 PM
There is no opportunity available in the very near future possibly for Bitcoins to be seen lower than $1000 unless a game change takes place through BCH acceptance by everyone which will not happen anyways. Bitcoin will never be less than $1500 if it ever gets dumped down for any unwise reasons. I see Bitcoins making $5000 possible after SegWit2x gets activated.
Even when people panicked and nobody knew what will happen on 1 August, the bitcoin price has not declined below $ 1,900. I think that this is the minimum below which the price will never come down. I'm not sure what the price will be $ 5,000, but $ 3,500 will be this year.

It dumped below $1900 but it didn't go lower than $1800. That time was really surprising because it really dump so low in 3 consecutive days, and I don't know what to do but just to wait for it to pump again, and just after some days, the price become stable again and it go back to it's common price at $2000. For now, the price might hit an ATH at $2900 but I doubt it will be having a price at $3000.
486  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Technology on: August 04, 2017, 09:31:53 AM
Technology as a Knowledge
Technology as knowledge, think on how fast technology/internet gives us knowledge.

Technology as artifacts

Artifacts on technology? you might need to use google for this.

Technology as a Process

This makes our lives easier.

I think you are misunderstanding when the OP said Technology as Artifact, he said it the way it is and not Artifacts on technology, you change the question. I think Technology as Artifact is because technology is been used even in the Ancient times and still used until now the reason it is calle Artifact.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 02, 2017, 02:06:35 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

Bitcoin Cash would just remain an alt and in no way,it could become a substitute for bitcoin. But the thing we are seeing today is that bitcoin cash price is rapidly increasing because it is being pumped and BCC holders have no platforms to dump it.
It is just another stunt created by few developers who want to earn money ,we have seen it before as bitcoin unlimited, currently hype is created for it ,people who are investing bcc/bch  will soon going to cry as bch/bcc miner sell their coin .

That is right, Bitcoin cash will be another way for big whales to earn another big profit like what happened in BTU or the Bitcoin Unlimited. I think for now bitcoin is being their way to fool other users because they are known to these industry and obviously many will believe them because they know their thing. I will be just getting my Bitcoin Cash and sell it afterwards.
488  Local / Pilipinas / Re: August 1's Panic Done. November's Debate is next. on: August 02, 2017, 06:50:12 AM

Sabi kase ginawa nila ang BCC for following the dream of Satoshi Nakamoto sa Bitcoin. Sinasabi kase na hindi gusto ni Satoshi ang SegWit for Bitcoin kaya gumawa sila ng another altcoin which is the Bitcoin Cash.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCC an altcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 03:27:33 PM
Why we need this BCC if we have normal old bitcoin Huh

Because the people behind this "alternative coin" think that bitcoin is not really the digital currency they've looked up in the past and they want it to make a turn. If you can read the other posts, it has the same features as bitcoin but with a few modifications. So I think you can say an altcoin with their dream feature to bitcoin.
490  Local / Pilipinas / August 1's Panic Done. November's Debate is next. on: August 01, 2017, 02:46:59 PM
Nag announce na si Theymos na safe na ang pagtransact ng bitcoin, that means na clear out na ang panic sa day ng split, or popularly called August 1's panic. Ngayong tapos na siya, ang sumusunod na topic naman is the Debate of November 1. Wala namang deal saken yung Debate pero may nagsasabi na makakaapekto ito sa price ng bitcoin, any predictions or comment about this?
491  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bitcoin to surge on: August 01, 2017, 01:45:40 PM
Papunta na tayo lahat dun antay-antay lang. Maybe after the implementation and after November this year sana tuloy-tuloy na "to the moon". Pero wag muna tayo magpakasaya since may upcoming debate pa this November expected na magalaw nanaman ang price ng bitcoin during that time as usual marami nanaman ang mananamantalang investors.

Syempre ganyan talaga ang mga investors, mapagsamantala, way of earning yun ehh. Pero tulad nga n sinabi mo, kelangan lang tlaga nateng maghintay, marami pang pwedeng mangyari lalo na ngayong November sa debate.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 30, 2017, 11:04:35 AM
I don't think that's a good idea. First of all not all people has access  the internet, secondly cryptocurrency takes some skills to know how to handle it and do your transfers online so it's gonna be hard for old people and those who are not into technology to learn about. "Cashless Society" is a great idea, but unfortunately it's really hard to have it  in the real world.

What skills? You will just own it, use it to pay, sent it by getting their addresses? What's hard? We even know how to use it in short time so I think these will not be a problem to older people who has a lot of experience. Maybe the people who will be having a hard time here is the people who do not even know what is technology, computers, or the internet.

495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people were into bitcoin in 2009? on: July 28, 2017, 11:12:46 PM
Was it in the 100s or 1000s? I tried googling without any luck.

Also, a quote I saw a lot after the recent talk by everyone's favourite: “Fuck Raspberry Pis, if you can't afford a $20,000 node to help the network, piss off.”

Watched the whole thing and what was actually said: “Quite frankly, I don't care about Raspberry Pis. If you have been in Bitcoin since 2009 and you can't afford a $20,000 node to help this network, piss off.”

So, what would that mean? How much would that help in terms of decentralization and the network in general if everybody that was into bitcoin in 2009 had a $20,000 node?

Bitcoin was invented in 2009 by Satoshi and founder of this forum back in the days with few software engineers and cryptographers, which means there were few people involved in the bitcoin community because it was under development stage.

During that period not everybody was interest in bitcoin because people think it's the project that has no future, but nevertheless Satoshi and his team keep on updating bitcoin core and the blockchain network.

Back then very few people can afford to pay for bitcoin mining hardware (like Raspberry Pi) and dedicate their time to learn about bitcoin mining and bitcoin in-general. So, there were actually few hundreds people involved in bitcoin 2009.

People are interested on these digital currency because it is the first one. We all now how people want something when you say it is new and first of its kind. They advertise bitcoin in many ways, they even bought a pizza for a thousand bitcoin. Then the users and investors piqued their interest in these digital currency. The reason why it get so high price in just some years that it almost out run gold. If I am not mistaken that is MtGox 5 years ago that bitcoin dumped the highest.

497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in the future on: July 27, 2017, 01:05:28 AM
Will be worth a lot.  I was thinking that even the ones labeled "scam coins" or ones that died off will be worth a very lot in the far or not so far future.
So my point is to hold everything if you're thinking of dumping.. what I'm saying probably applies more to miners.

I think even in the future, those "scam coins" will still be of no value. We all know that the users determine the price of an digital currency, if no one is using it, that means, there will be no value of that currency. So even if you wait for a hundred years, there will be still no value for it because you are the only one using it.

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin eventually kill Altcoin? on: July 25, 2017, 01:53:07 PM
Every time bitcoin price goes up,Altcoin price take a dip.No doubt bitcoin rule the crypto world and sooner or later it will become mainstream.
Once it happens, btc will be worth million dollar. Will then all Altcoin be died?Seems Altcoin price are inversely proportional to btc price, if btc keep rising, will Altcoin keep falling? .

Most of the altcoins value depends on bitcoin, that really means, when bitcoin pumps, obviously the price of altcoins will not follow the dump of the price of bitcoin because the bitcoin is the only one pumping not the altcoin. Bitcoin's pump don't include the pump of altcoins.
500  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] HIGH PAYING BTC SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: July 22, 2017, 09:55:16 PM
I've seen that you've change the note at the bottom part of the post. Previously you've said that the ICO needs to be in success, so what will happen to the member of these Signature Campaign if it is a unsuccessful. Also, get an escrow so members here will not have a doubt about your campaign.
