Definitely a significant moment in astrophysics. The theories of black holes have been with us for most of my lifetime, but that's all they were; theories. From a physical science perspective the theories are pretty robust, and widely accepted by astrophysicists. The photo may not teach us any more than we already know about the existence of black holes, but it goes a long way to vindicate the theories. The first photographic evidence is a huge milestone.

I want to sign a message using my blockchain account, wallets there keep changing so whats shown now doesn't matter. all I need is info on how to sign a message.
You won't be able to sign a message with the keys generated by your blockchain.com wallet. They do have a feature where you can sign a message using an imported private key (such as a paper wallet.)

@cryptohunter, your first local rule is quite indicative; you don't really want to debate you only want a platform to rant. Read SaltySpitoon's last post. If you have to take a step back and pretend it was in response to some other than you. There's a lot of good advice there. I've said it to you before; you take things way too seriously here. It's just an online forum for the discussion of something that's bound to attract all types of personalities, some you'll appreciate and some you'll detest.
Such is life (no pun intended.)

Actually, I usually say "he/him" when I think "indeterminate gender" since the gender-neutral masculine form is well-established in English
I too refuse to give up my grammar Nazi ways in favor of the FemiNazi craze. If one doesn't know the opposite party gender in a public discussion forum, mentioning them as 'they, them, their's' would be appropriate.
It's becoming a more common phenomenon to use these terms when the gender isn't specified, and that's fine with me. Languages evolve, and this is one case where it seems to be happening more quickly than usual. I usually will use the he/she type pronouns, but if someone indicates to me he finds that offensive I make a concerted effort to respect his wishes.

@marcothemier, what happened to not asking for loans? On April 1st you sent me this PM: Hey, Are you willing to reconsider your trust? I am not asking for loans nor have I scammed anyone/plan to. Thanks
After I had already asked you not to PM me about the subject of my trust rating. Please do not PM me about this subject again.
If I am ever to change my review it would be because I see a reason to do so, not because you continue to ask. The fact that you are here asking for a loan only days after telling me you aren't is proof that my review is accurate. Maybe you're not telling flat out lies, but you are certainly bending the truth and continue to be deceptive. I hope you pay off this loan on time, and everything goes well for you and the lender. But my cautionary tale on your trust wall will remain and stand as a valid warning to all who deal with you.

at least 90% of the players at online casinos lose money.
Is that any different from brick and mortar casinos? I really don't know, just asking the question, but I would venture to guess the rates are about the same.

Interesting. Here I'll copy the exact code Xal0lex posted. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3 ETA: works just fine. @coinlocket$ In this code you're pointing to two URLs which will create a conflict: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

Also the account linked has the same amount of negative DT
OP has -16 Account Linked has -19 I think with custom trust lists the two accounts are going to show different quantities of negative DT reviews. With my trust list I see the OP with -17, and master-P with -16. Bpip.org, which reflects the forum's default trust setting shows the OP with only -9, and master-P with -16. So @OP, your account is worthless. You'll still need 7 more negative reviews for before your account is... still worthless.

Wow, that is a gorgeous coin. The NORFED mint's coins are among my favorite. Best of luck with the sale.

How determine which photo is real? If matching with social media it doesn't really mean that that's their own photo. That's the bigger problem in my opinion. Some people are posting pictures of attractive women wearing nice shoes, which are probably lifted from pinterchat, or some such social media platform. If I logged in and found someone had posted a photo of my daughter that was lifted from one those sites, just to post in an April Fool's thread I'd be pretty fucking pissed. Now, my daughters know better than posting their photos for the public to ogle, but that's largely because they have a paranoid cynic for a father. Some girls aren't as fortunate. They aren't bounty hunter scum, and don't deserve to have their photos associated with such vermin. And, maybe I should confess this as my 1 KYC crime; I have a soft spot for some of those third world bounty hunters. Not all, but a few are just naive and have few opportunities to earn a living. They deserve a little privacy too, but might be to ignorant to realize the whole thing was a joke.

What are you all talking about? I thought this was real KYC And you're the 4th real Satoshi I'm seeing today... exciting times. The tags are great. I hope we get to keep them for the whole month.

The KYC thread started by theymos this morning is a real hoot. But, I'm concerned about the security of those who are actually posting real selfies in that thread. Some of these photos can be reverse image searched on google and lead to real social media profiles. People are either posting their real selfies, or posting photos of other people which is even more concerning. Sure, the advent of the internet has made April Fools Day more widely known around the world, but it's still mostly a phenomenon in the Western World. It's not as ubiquitous as we westerners might think. It seems no matter how many obvious joke photos are posted, some think it's acceptable to post their real photos. Spelling it out in that thread seems to have no affect, either. @theymos, I hope you have a plan to address the security risk without canning the entire thread. That would be a shame, but it's my opinion the bigger shame would be to allow those photos to remain.

Not certain why the OP is still at it. He already has the maximum negative score achievable, which was his goal, apparently. More negative DT trust will do nothing to make his score lower. Now I have the account with the most negative trust on BTCtalk, thank you all !!!! His retaliatory feedback is quite amusing. @ok-aurus, I see you left feedback on my trust wall claiming that my account was hacked. Not once, but twice. How can you be sure that the second time my account was hacked it wasn't the original owner that did the hacking? Quite the conundrum.

Hi,need 500$ loan will repay 600$
I think you'd be better served asking for a USD loan from a bank. This is Bitcointalk.org, where we deal in... Wait, what's the new fangled digital currency stuff called again? Dagnabit, it's right on the tip of tongue. Don't tell me, it'll come to me.

I get paid by my temp agency on Friday so I can pay then. I will hit up my local Bitcoin ATM. I am offering BTC0.00588
I'd like to help you but I'm sorry, there are too many red flags. Also, the domain you're offering as collateral is prohibited from transfer.

I have registered the domain name basicssoft.com. I am looking for a BTC0.0049 loan. I require an escrow to hold the collateral. Newbies don't even bother making any offers. Thanks
You're collateral isn't great, and securing a domain for such a small loan seems like more trouble than it's worth. How long do you need until you can repay, and what are you offering as the repayment amount?
