someone gains access ypool.net?
Apparently they are migrating servers and will be a few hours.

They are migrating server.
Will be up in hours.
Why, too much traffic or for DDOS protection?

How long will this be in closed beta? Even with only 2x more efficiency, when all those gpu miners on litecoin and others hash coins switch to XPM, it will make a huge difference in the total hashrate.

Well, I've had a primecoin client running on my personally-owned rackserver that I have in a datacenter(In washington), and it's been a proper 24 hours now. The client hasn't synchronized. It's Win Server 08R2, as well as a precompiled build.
Do I need to manually add some peers, or something? Although I also noticed that it was giving that error that everyone else here reports. So I restarted it and it seems to be doing better now. (few hours to sync)
Also, I port forwarded the port 9911 for PrimeCoin. Is there anything else I can do to make my client be of more use to the network? I heard something about super nodes but I'm not sure how that works.
Cheers.
The Linux versions seem to be more stable.

It really dropping a lot now, though that is largely due to BTC surging. Still, even against the USD it has dropped from 0.70 to 0.50 XPM/USD.

If you read an article regarding Primecoin post it here. I'll keep the OP updated.
Lots of good articles and news on our reddit feed: http://www.reddit.com/r/primecoin

Why have their been no updates here? We must have found sooo many more records by now.

Does primecoin still produce a block per minute? Seems like less, though maybe that just because the computing power soo slanted towards those with huge server farms, botnets and 100s of VPS droplets

Anyone bought one of these? Please let us know! I'm willing to get wet with this project.
I paid for one, and I'm on the preorder list. I'm looking forward to play with it!! I am very curious to see how it works - would seem like an ideal match on a price/xpm mining basis.

Only a few votes above XPM.
Irinocally, Litecoin is one of the least innovative all coins out there. It only popular since it was one of the earliest altcoins to have a fair launch.

Plus it is very inexpensive. probably cheaper than leasing a dedicated server.

Wonder how long LTC will remain # 2

With a current profit of 0.58% and almost 100,000,000 bets and nearly 1 million BTC wagered, you could say the historical house edge is effectively 0.6%

It very variable but I think 2 days you'll get a block with hp10, but it soooo variable.

It probably has been added after this list compiled. Will be doing a new poll soon and will add it;)

|

Some minor additions to the sites and formattings

It seems that most bulls here feel 5BTC is fair value - that this would support a stable dividend. The question is what % of the total network hash would AM need to maintain to deserve such a pricing again? Currently it at 4% only, well below its traditional 15%.
