aberration makes sense - arbitrage make sense - arbitration does not.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Eclipse | XMRsss ❥ on: January 19, 2024, 08:20:50 PM
a side question - above you have "chromatic arbitration"

do you mean "chromatic arbitrage"

if you do in fact mean "arbitration" can you explain.

looking forward to getting those last 3 added to my collection - have mine shipped yet @cygan? you may have already answered that but if so I have forgotten or cannot find it
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Eclipse | XMRsss ❥ on: January 19, 2024, 02:23:32 AM
maybe its the playing with the pictures but they look fuzzy and the resolution looks low when making them larger - the writing is blurry as well.

maybe it has to do with where you hosted them? dunno

I prefer unedited photos to show what is actually being sold/auctioned - that way not confused or disappointed when what is received doesnt match the photos provided.

506  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Need help with Lealana address on: January 18, 2024, 09:09:37 PM
I have a 2017 Lealana 0.5 Monero coin that is nickel plated brass from an auction a while back. She is #130 and came as the “unfunded” version…. Has “unfunded” laser etched onto holo. (Looks like laser etching anyways). I need help finding the public key to fund her. I thought maybe the public key was etched on the coin somewhere very small or lightly like some other lealana releases but it isn’t. Can’t seem to find the original sales post or reference to keys list. Can anybody help me out and point me in right direction? Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys

my best advice is ask the person you bought it from - they should have the address

510  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Want to share my latest collectable painting-The Bitcoin Miner by 1Dq on: January 16, 2024, 10:10:07 PM
being a miner myself, I like this one and thought of buying it but have no room left on my walls - I need a bigger office. as it is, I have over 30 pieces I cannot hang due to lack of wall space Sad

great looking piece @1Dq and good snag @krogoth!

512  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DIY Bitcoin Blockclock on: January 15, 2024, 10:02:40 PM

the one that is the same size as the BTClock is roughly $400
Than how big was nkv's coinkite clock in full size?

I can share some opinions once I have both.
That would be nice.
I think BTClock have big advantage that you can customize and change it however you want.
Developer is constantly updating it and adding new versions.

Not sure how large the original was but its quite large with multiple lines. The one that the btclock is modeled after appears to look almost identical with most of the same visuals. It was 400 so still nearly twice the price as btcclock
513  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Launching a Physical Bitcoin project (KHRUSOS) on: January 15, 2024, 06:05:51 PM
do you accept Bitcoin as a form of payment?
would you use escrow? such as minerjones? or even myself and a few others who have also performed escrow for the collectibles group?

This would help with the establishing of trust.

FYI, I sent you an email. I reached my 2 message limit for the day since I don't have copper.
If you'd like me to post the address here for purchase, let me know.

Also, some issues with LN, so it's just a typical segwit bc address.
Feel free to respond to this or the email when you get this

Cheers

514  Economy / Collectibles / Re: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Cold Kuntz!! on: January 15, 2024, 04:29:13 PM

thank you - I wish there had been a way that the funds got disbursed to the victims but that seems like it was impossible to quantify or distinguish who the victims were or what even qualified them as a victim.
515  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Crypto collectibles "Garage Sale" assorted misc items - cleaning up my office :) on: January 15, 2024, 04:01:47 PM
op updated - added additional items and removed sold items.

added the little hodler - the money printer and added 5 pink bitpiggys
516  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DIY Bitcoin Blockclock on: January 14, 2024, 04:35:34 PM

And that is mini, not full size version.
I could only imagine how much he would charge for regular big version, probably over $1000  Tongue

the one that is the same size as the BTClock is roughly $400

I have the coinkite one and have also ordered the BTClock one from @btc_hardware on twitter.

I should have that one next week - They look similar and have a lot of the same display features from what I have seen in videos/pictures.

I can share some opinions once I have both.

518  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Heads up cool bitcoin stuff auction at Scarce.City on: January 12, 2024, 09:32:09 PM
their no reserve standing has had me not list a few items as well

what is this "start at a set price" thing? if someone wants a reserve they should uses that option at least.

Just that if you won't take less than 0.05BTC for example, you have the option to set that as your starting bid.

that was not an option when I last checked - it was for someone else's items - they decided to have me auction them on the forums instead.
You are correct, it's not an option if you want the item to be part of the "bazaar."

I never understood what the bazaar was - I was simply trying to auction it - they told me no minimum bid, no reserve and only runs for 2 days. The seller whose items I had decided to list them here instead.

my two sats:

the auction was done with no reserve - perhaps it was not done as good as it could have been done by SC but that is no fault of the buyer. I am sure all buyers love it when they win an auction for less than they anticipated and I am sure all would be upset if a seller backed out.  I think it better to be concerned with the reputation one has and the effect it has long term on all their future deals. I would say ship the item - take the pymt. then blast SC for not doing as they promised. Let them be the point of failure - remove the focus from the seller/buyer and put it on them.
