501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: April 26, 2017, 09:06:14 PM
Dont waste your time with looking for hacker to hack whole btc network for 1000btc. it is pointless to discuss and you know already the reason behind it
That is why i cannot understand why such a questions exists on section about bitcoin discussion.
In my opinion, something like that should be moderated because as you have said, everybody knows the reason why this thread is about a stupid thing.
You cannot hack the network because there is simply no way to.
The blockchain is secure, and the only way possible to hack anything somehow, is to get private keyc through malware
502  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 26, 2017, 03:07:05 PM
yes it is very possible and in my opinion it has biggest chance than fiat money I mean look at bitcoin that has anonymity and small fees it is perfect for corruption attempt
Not necessarily, because if you are in situation (as a criminal) that requires bribing an officer, you would have to approach him before, with this proposition.
If you would get caught, trying to bribe law enforcement officer with bitcoin is a rather bad idea, because you cannot make the transaction in a blink of an eye.
For example, if you have 2,000$ dollars with you, and for some reason police will get you while smuggling the drugs through border, you can just give them the cash you have and drive away (if they will agree for a bribe of course). But in the same case but with bitcoin payment, that would be a really hard to do because the opposite side needs to know that they indeed have their money, the whole thing cannot last too long because someone may find out that you and the officer are doing a crime.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 26, 2017, 02:18:45 PM
Not only fair but harmful extremely for the bitcoin image, one of the promises of bitcoin was low fees, but now we just have to or rather forced to pay high fees and fee per byte is not even adjusted with the market price, what we need to do is to set and agree on the dollar value of fees instead of satoshi/ bitcoin value.
If you don't pay the higher than usual fee then you'd to wait hours and those unlimited guys are spamming the network to justify the need for an unlimited fork so when people complained about high fees they come and say hey we have a solution it's called BU.

It is unfair and a big disadvantage especially for small time bitcoin users since we can hardly use bitcoin for small transactions since the fees are very high. But it is the price of being a decentralized currency wherein nobody is in control or somebody to regulate the fees that are being placed on the shoulders of the consumers. This is the disadvantage brought by decentralization but we must accept the fact since we dont want bitcoin to be placed under regulations and centrality.

Nowadays in the Blockchain.info fees has been increased and some point amount is still sitting in the wallet and transaction time also has bee increased for every transaction. Please who use the coinbase would be more benefiter according to me because its faster than the blockchain and normal fees for the transaction all the wallet providers 0.0003 to 0.0005 btc.
In my opinion, current fees are not so great because we actually have to pay a lot, from  0.00035 up to even 0.0006 satoshi sometimes!
With small bitcoin price, that would not be so annoying because paying only small part of the whole transaction is totally fair. After all, miners needs to get their money too because the transactions won't get confirmed by themselves. But paying 30k satoshi fee is still alright, when BTC costs not so much. And currently, we have totally different thing, the bitcoin is really expensive if we compare it to the history of the first cryptocurrency.

For now, I dont think that fee is a very big problem for our community, it is indeed annyoing when the someone is making many transactions a day, but for a regular user, this is not a big issue.
The thing is, we are facing even bigger increase of the miners commision, if still more people will be attracted to cryptocurrencies world. The trafic will be bigger and bigger, which will result that we need higher fees to see our transaction going through the network at least at the decent amount of time.

We need some kind of solution, I would have chosen SegWit but as we can see, miners have their own insights about this.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 26, 2017, 10:37:29 AM
I usually buy games in exchange for bitcoin, so for me, btc is the nice option because you don't need any investment.
I use bitcoin on each of my game, so it's very important for bitcoin needs a whole day to me and I recommend you to use the bitcoin because the price of the currency value above me, apalaagi if we get a big fortune. is very happy and you make me. .. so the bitcoin choice doesn't need another investment
I really like the opportunities that cryptocurrency may give to its users, there are many ways to invest or just buy it, for purpose of obtaining some goods.

If I would like to play a game on PC, there would be no problem for me to just order it through internet, by using bitcoin as a payment solution.
Digital goods are always the best to buy with cryptocurrency and the reason is very simple: if I have bought a game by BTC, I just use the code that gives me access to content.
In such a scenario,  all I need is to convert fiat which is really easy in most cases, I do it through wire transfers or trusted p2p services.
505  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 24, 2017, 09:09:14 AM
It is unlikely. I think it should be back to around 800 some time this year.

I don't think so that we will be back at $800 for this year. The price floor is good now at $1,000 or should I say that it is good at $1,200 and it's very possible that we can go up to $1,500 very soon. The price now is good at $1,300 and there's 200 more bucks to go and I guess we can go at this rate maybe at the end of June.
Exactly, it is not expected to see bitcoin price dropping even below 1000$, that is a very strong resistance area, so the bears will have extremely hard task to break through that.
Price is kind of stable nowadays, which may actually be a good sign for bulls, because most of the fluctuations on the bitcoin price were really big until now.
On the other hand, that stagnation can simply mean that the bulls are losing momentum to break higher price levels.

I think that seeing 800 usd per bitcoin is not possible this year.
506  Economy / Marketplace / Re: question on money making guides on: April 24, 2017, 06:39:56 AM
The problem with these guides too is that they often tend to be useless because most of them are just either scams, investing in scams (HYIPS) or just plainly over saturated methods that could possibly earn but not really. So, I guess people should just avoid it. I've seen plenty of them and not really anyone of them works. Why would anyone want to share a money making guide anyway, if they are profiting from it?
Yes, people do create these kind of guides not with the intention of helping people but to advertise their referral/affiliate links. Or they are getting paid to post some examples in their guides. Every guide will be having some real time scenarios there they will be using paid contents and most of the time they will be having some ranking system of available services, for maintaining higher rank they are getting paid.

I have personally tried few money making guides, after long analysis I have concluded those authers must be getting paid for maintaining those guides.
That is the one of the biggest issues we sometimes have on the bitcointalk.org, people are not really helpful to others, they just look for yet another opportunity to help their wallet balance and to become more wealthy through exploiting the other users which is an awful habit.
For some reason, many people at bitcoin world prefer to use the naivety of the other users instead of climbing to the top through the hard way, by they own while being fair with others.

I really think that there is nothing that is more harmful to the BTC opinion on the world, that all these scams, ponzis and fake coins or exchanges. Some people want to stay away from it, because every day they hear about some people that had issues while using BTC.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: April 24, 2017, 06:26:27 AM
The altcoin market is a bit like gambling. You can make a living off buying cheap cryptos and then waiting for them to go to the moon, sometimes people get rich like that and its great, but requires luck such as gambling.
That is a quite good comparision I think, altcoin trading has indeed something in common with gambling, if you are doing it on a new, cheap coins that are not trusted nor known.
But still, I think that it doesn't matter if it is "gambling for a living" or "living for gambling" because both of these options are insanely stupid gambling does not give you anything, except losses on a long-term.
I can understand that some people are liviing for gambling, because I have to admit that is exactly what i was doing for some time, but luckily I was able to throw away this bad habit.

Think about future, the gambling will not make it more bright.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what hinders bitcoin to become a mainstream currency? on: April 24, 2017, 05:44:53 AM
Security? Crime? Inflation?
Bitcoin is money and thus serves the same functions that any money does: a medium of exchange, a unit of account, and a store of value. But can it prominently satisfy all these functions?
Indeed, if we would like to see every single country switching its previous currency on bitcoin , that would have been a big problem.
It is not really fast right now, because of the blockchain issues, and the fees are way too high.
Imagine that you have to pay for a every single thing with bitcoin, if you would like to buy matchsticks, the transaction commision would cost evem more that the product bought!

But after all, it is very secure store of value, still more better than a regular fiats: but we need changes to develop it ultimately.
509  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How would buying property play out with crypto? on: April 22, 2017, 10:42:11 PM
I can understand that people are constantly in search of new, different ways to use cryptocurrencies, that nobody have ever dreamed of but in my opiniom, buying a house or a property for bitcoins is something actually stupid.

why would anyone want to get payed in cryptocurrency, which is actually really hard to convert in big quantities, there is a risk that the goverment will try to find you guilty for laundering money.
You can just simply use bank transfer for that, there will be less troubles in withdrawing that from the account instead of converting btc to fiat.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Question that has been a million times here on: April 22, 2017, 10:30:50 PM
If you're promoting your own channel on YouTube is not going to be as easy as you think. Besides to your channel brought in the income we need to see to it that he was always in the top, and it requires a lot of time and money. It may happen that you will spend more than earn.
So why should he even pay for the channel promotion?
Focusing on the content released, on your fanbase and new videos will bring you more profits (not money this time) than promoting it, because you will be thay guy, who is doing a great job, but is also underrated.

When your videos have already good quality, the content you have is actually interesting or useful for others, then promoting should be a next step to achieving success.

What promoting a shitty channel can give you after all, when people dont even want to watch the videos made by you?
Nothing, which gives us a very important rule:

Content first.
511  Economy / Exchanges / Re: poloniex scam? on: April 22, 2017, 10:19:03 PM
It is not a strange thing that such a weak and cheap  altcoins have got dumped so quick on a big volume, because the poloniex has announced that they are going to de-list them, so it has started the panic on the markets.

You even have written on this screenshot, that poloniex exchange is recommending withdrawing/selling these coins as fast as possible, so that was exactly what the traders have done. They sold it to avoid losses on this trades.
512  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Someone know a good Faucet bot or auto collect? on: April 22, 2017, 10:05:55 PM
In fact, as previous interlocutors have already said, we hate such a bots over here, you shouldnt even ask for that.
People are launching faucet sites to make the profit thanks to the advertisements, and they spread the part of every click payment to the user who is completing captchas. Some people are ready to sit in front of their PC for 3 hours or even more, to collect few thousands of satoshis, and you want to get automated programme for doing that!

Make money by some different way than exploting the others.
513  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: April 20, 2017, 09:53:35 PM
Im afraid that there is no way for you to earn BTC thanks to your Youtube channel, because the AdSense which basically pays you for the views under video, is doing a settlements with Youtubers in USD currency.

You may always put up your bitcoin wallet address in your description to give an ability for your best fans to send you money anonymously.

If you wish, you can also exchange that USD for bitcoin, however that process will take way too long because google pays you in actual checks, and not some online transfer service like paypal.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 20, 2017, 09:42:37 PM
Everybody should choose the wallet that fits well, it is most important to have transparent, easy in use wallet.

It mostly depends what exactly do you need in wallet service, because if you are looking for mobile wallet, then some web one should be fine. However don't ever store too many bitcoins in that wallet because it is more likely to get hacked.

But if you need a good way to store your bitcoins safely when you don't need to access it for a long time, the using cold wallet is a great solution.

Now with Appleshop.io you can buy your Apple products with Bitcoins
Is .io also your domain name or you guys forget to change it  Grin

Don't know why price for same product iPhone plus have two different price  Roll Eyes

https://appleshop.me/collections/iphone/products/iphone-7-plus (0.619BTC)

Maybe because they actually do not care about the prices for the same products? That would be only possible if that website is a scam.
At least the website is https://, not just http so it is secured, but it still doesnt mean it is legit.
To say the truth, that doesnt look like a real service, where you can buy apple smartphones for bitcoins, but just yet another scam attempt. I would stay away from it, until things will clarify a little bit.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: April 20, 2017, 02:21:01 PM
It is not an easy question at all, it mostly depends on the experience and education of the gambler that have chosen to bet only on sport games.
I know many people who are actually really successful in doing sport betting, it is all about watching the games and knowing which teams are the best, but it is still not enough.
You need to make good bets, where the rates are good enough to enter, but the odds are also decent. Many sports betting websites offer some stupid payouts for a match that is pretty much not possible to predict at all.

The best advice I have heard from my friend, doing really good sports betting? Dont bet on the teams you don't know, reduce the risk as hard as you can.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Am Still Not Voting for Segwit? on: April 20, 2017, 02:18:01 PM
A lot of people are not behind the SegWit right now, which is kind of understandable for me, because they need 95% of approval for that.
In my opinion, it will never happen in bitcoin, way too many miners are standing behind Bitcoin Unlimited, which basically makes SegWit impossible to implement.
Another important reason, is that im sure there are some miners that do not really care about SegWit or hard-fork either, they just want to stay on current Bitcoin Core without any changes.

So I hope that the BTC community will find altogether some solution, unless we really want to see blockchain being blocked by big amount of transactions every day.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks have bought the Core Team on: April 20, 2017, 02:08:33 PM
Where is the point in saying that Bitcoin Core Dev Team is owned by banks?
That is kind of funny of me, I never believe in such a conspiracy theory, and this one is actually the same!

Indeed, I also doubt that SegWit will be implemented, because 95% is a really big percantage, when Im sure that not every miner cares about the whole conensus, if he prefers Bitcoin unlimited or Segwit.
For now, it looks like that hard-fork has way bigger chance to be done, than seeing SegWit on bitcoin core.

I really hope that LTC will do SegWit, and it will maybe show up the rest of miners, which solution is the best.
519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best BTC Debit Card? on: April 20, 2017, 02:00:32 PM
Is this you mean virtual credit card? In my country now we already had like this where we can funded our own bitcoin to use that debit card to shop online even in us or other country as long as theres a balance that we can use to do online shopping.
No, I was looking for a physical, plastic card.
To be honest, I dont know many websites where you can get the plasitic card with bitcoins, because it is pretty rare for me to trust some page by giving my money to them, for a specified purpose.
Every time I send a transaction I feel like im going to get scammed, probably because that happened to me many times before.

To be fair with you, I know only one company which have such an option, but I think you may trust them without any issue. I have heard many positive opinions about them, and also some of my friends are using this plastic card, and they are happy with it.

520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 19, 2017, 05:32:43 PM
Dumping your coins right now may net you a small temporary profit. But I have a feeling that the exchange rates may hit $5,000 per coin mark sometime later this year. Bitcoin is attracting a lot of press coverage, and the user base is steeply increasing.
This is not like that, selling the bitcoin right now should still bring a decent returns, before we should still remember that lately, the price range is somewhere between 1150$ and 1200$  ( sometimes, slightly more ).
If someone has made a good move few months ago, then it will be still a good price for dumping the coin.

But I would like to ask you, if you can give me some arguments behind the theory, that we will see 5000$ per one bitcoin, in this year?
I hope you may find some, but I assume that you are one of the newbies, that think bitcoin is something eternal, not able to be destroyed, and very precious.
