501  Economy / Economics / Re: Is legalized marijuana good for the economy?? US Citizens might talk here.. on: October 11, 2018, 05:38:08 AM
Its very good for the economy, if we are being specific. Medicinal Marijuana can bring in millions if not billions of dollars annually if properly managed and properly produced as a finished product. The medical advantages of this plant are plenty but let just throw in some statistics on the financial aspects and job creation:
Legalizing marijuana on the federal level could result in an additional $105.6 billion between 2017 and 2025, according to a new report from the cannabis analytics firm New Frontier. That figure includes projections for business tax revenues, payroll withholdings, and a 15% sales tax. Meanwhile, fully legalizing cannabis today would add 654,000 jobs and up to 1 million jobs by 2025.
Why wouldn't it be? For years in history americans and whole world has been fighting against weed and yet people are still using it everywhere in the whole world. Now governments have two options ahead of them, one option is to keep it illegal and spend tons of money to "protect" people from weed users and sellers and try to capture and prison everyone who distribute it which costs insane amount of money and people still smoke weed and even die because they get some bad stuff.

The second option however is let it be and just legalize it and make sure health and safety checks the products on the legal places, this way you both make money and eliminate the bad products that kill people.
502  Economy / Economics / Re: The significance of bitcoin decentralization on: October 10, 2018, 07:19:29 PM
Banks have their own rules and we cannot understand sometimes how they operate just like what you tried to express. Bitcoin is just another system that could serve more like a bank. The only problem you will have with bitcoin is the volatility and the adaption of bitcoins for use in all stores or shops world wide. If these problems will be solved, bitcoin will greatly be more like a replacement of banks and will be used more as a payment system or a currency.
Sometimes, even the rules and policies that comes from banks affects a whole lot of thing which is why today we keep seeing inflation, the fact that everyone will have to be suffering it as the economy gets driven down and the government and banks doing nothing about it but actually even being the ones who are so much driving it a whole lot down. Cryptocurrency is giving that freedom we have always wished we had.

I imagined myself few days ago how I would have queued in the bank for Western Union transfer just to be able to make transaction with my merchant, and with bitcoin which was what brought me into this space a long time ago, a lot of things have changed when it comes to having my time to do other better things and easily sending money anywhere in the world without a third party.
503  Economy / Economics / Re: Can be done? on: October 10, 2018, 10:46:58 AM
Hello,

In the past year I was really interested in making a new cryptocurrency. Unfortunately since the market is growing and almost 95% of cryptocurreny are bullshit to me because everyone is writing some fine ass shit just to sell their coins I developed the complete idea of what and how to do.

I am an innovator. I’m not a engineer or a developer. Just someone that think of an idea that is not possible and then I make it. I’m quite young (24) and developed 2 startups ideas which with the first one I was cheated from others which at the end I remained with nothing (Both related to “sun” energy). The second was really low income that I left it where it is (Too much high costs of production).

Now I’m in the field of transport, because I had to survive and because is a stable business.

But, since I’m calling me an innovator I just to want to develop new stuff.

About the idea of cryptocurrency which is a only way to pay, but the complete figure of the idea is more and more and more.

> Create a safer BLOCKCHAIN - it can be done, the way the Blockchain is based sincerely can be hacked and forced down.
> A offline way to pay - Imagine to develop a tecnology that can provide offline payment with no need to any Internet connection or verification.
> If you receive you give -  a new way of distributing money and essential needs that a human need.

And a lot and lot more.

This all ideas and more it arrived in the past 3 years but I was skeptical so start them.

When I started to think about crypto it arrived to me that I can connect all ideas in one.

If you want to develop the most FAIR company for people let me know in inbox and we can discuss more.

I don’t guarantee any payment, if you want to work you receive a fair share.

Thank you Smiley
Nice one, but I think you should sit down for a moment and think if this thing you wrote here cause it’s not making any sense to me. As smart as you are, how do you think that it is possible for people to send and receive Bitcoin worldwide offline? That’s really dumb, cause I thought you had a better idea and it ended up something else.

Let’s take for example I’m in England and you’re in South Africa, how will you be able to send Bitcoin to me offline? That can’t happen, there will have to be a connection for you to be able to send and receive.
504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, the very beginning on: October 10, 2018, 09:21:16 AM
i think im the only 1 with only 1 account the guy wo start the tread was a newbie but he says he has earn a lot of money with icos that make me think that account is a new one because he has less that 6 participations . well getting back to the initial topic. whatever you do you have to start doing everything with a simul;ation without real money i dont know u guys but i use metatrader and with simulation i lost a lot but a lot of money jeje thx god it wasnt real money
Someone having a newbie account on this platform does not necessarily make the person a novice to investment in the space when it comes to ICOs. There are so many other platforms with which you can have access to ICOs as well.

That is by the way though, but those who are smart are not always looking into investing in ICOs and concentrating on the short term, and personally for me, I have been investing in ICOs for over a year now and with my trading knowledge I have been able to do very well when it comes to even increasing my stash for the long run so at the end, it still depends on your level of knowledge in some certain areas.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market rebounding? on: October 10, 2018, 08:23:11 AM

I don’t know whether it bounced off or not for me so everything stands still, but I still need to hope for positive changes in the future.
The whole market pretty much to some extent has been moving sideways for a while actually but looking at the altcoins market, some of them with a huge bullish divergence and seeing some already breaking out hugely, we can tell that there is actually a good chance we might get to see the market make some pretty good upward movement before the year ends.

However, it is still too early to start imagining what the future holds, and like I said, we have been moving sideways and for most of the market in a triangle just like bitcoin and how the market will break out are only going to be known with time and patience.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect yourself and others from scammers? on: October 10, 2018, 07:38:18 AM
All participants of the bounty companies fell for fraudsters, or soon they will fall, I try to first consult with experienced people and only after that I join the company.
There is actually nothing hard in being able to do things yourself when it comes to being able to identify scam but the thing with a whole bunch of people is that the laziness to do research is the main reason why they always try to look for a shortcut or just take some unnecessary risks at the end of the day.

So far so good, I would say the best thing to always do is to on your own be able to take into account, the team as well as the product when it comes to investing into anything or even joining bounty campaigns. As a campaign participant, you frustrate the scammers from even getting any recognition from you, let alone getting that from an investor.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Malta is playing strong game on: October 10, 2018, 06:59:11 AM
Open innovation country like Malta will have a chance to be on top of this Blockchain race in the future. Like Switzerland, Japan, South Korea they understand how valuable this technology is, that's why they are making sure that they're doing the right thing. I hope some other strict countries will loosen their ties to open mind and understand the benefit of Blockchain in their economy.

I think they really see the benefits of not just using blockchain, but the what it can bring to a small nation just like them. As @figmentofmyass, superpower countries are very timid and less enthusiastic because, they're financially stable as compare to 2nd or 3rd world countries. But what we do like about them is that they really spearheaded it for some time now that's why crypto related projects, exchanges are now moving to them.
That is actually just the thing. They are so fast to see the benefits, they know what the country will derive from it if they take that bold step and we can all see how that has been paving out for them.

We have all seen for a while now, how some of the exchanges alone have been making a huge amount of revenue daily and imagining some other blockchain businesses that will always tend to move to a more cryptocurrency or blockchain friendly zone in the long run will bring to their economy. I guess they are so smart to take the bold step than being a laggard in the long run, which is what most other countries will end up as.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: October 10, 2018, 06:12:38 AM
Mistake of many investors or crypto newbies: investing their life savings and taking loans to invest in cryptocurrencies thinking it would double over night —having no clue that the long winter is bound to come, that long bearish market are part of experience. Whereas one can earn in this space without investing anything except time and energy.
The reason why a lot of newbies usually make such mistake is because they were so much focused on all the things they keep hearing in the news during the bullish era and then the chances of FOMOing or expecting something out of the ordinary when it comes to getting hugely rich will always be there and since human nature generally is greed centered.

The chances of seeing someone not understanding the risks of where they are investing when they do not even have a single clue of what they are investing in and then investing because they are just after the money they want to make will always be a major issue.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTG Speculation on: October 09, 2018, 03:46:38 PM
everyone has their own predictions, but for now it's still too early to conclude what people say, BTG has almost no meaningful movement, but everything can happen in just an instant, but for BTG there is still no year good predictions, may still be bearish until 2020, and BTG predictions to 1k usd, maybe but not now
It is not even about being early, I do not see anything that would make bitcoin gold to hit such a huge amount in the long run and I really do not care even if it does. If you want to invest in something, invest in the real thing. Bitcoin gold is just not the coin I would really want to bother myself about when it comes to its future.

It is not a convincing one, it is a forked coin, and it is only where it is now because it managed to be in the shadow of bitcoin and the same fate that applies to every other bitcoin forks applies to it, and that would be so much glaring when we start seeing bitcoin increase hugely upward based on real life usage and real adoption, and then we will all get to know how shitty some of these forks are.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Expert: Banks are Enthusiastic Towards Crypto, Waiting for Regulators to Invest on: October 09, 2018, 10:41:05 AM
I guess they dislike the fact that they are missing out and probably loading their valued customers cause a lot of investors are now perfering long investments in Bitcoin than in banks. And moreover, a lot of big organizations are waiting for the same moment to also invest in Bitcoin, this is why we need bitcoin regulation so bad.
I think the problem with huge companies get into bitcoin has always been the accounting problem. Depending on which country you are working in it is not that easy to put some of your investments into bitcoin and hoping it would increase in value and than suddenly even if you make profit taking out huge amounts and explaining that to the authorities that you have invested into crypto.

If there are no laws and regulations it would cause a huge paper work problem and even if there is regulations and laws than you will have to find accountants that would know how to file for tax and your profits will be eaten by the taxes that was put.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: October 09, 2018, 09:59:09 AM
After a losing trade I take a nice big deep breath, accept it, analyse and try to learn from it, so I will not do the same thing again and again
When you lose most of your money, you should keep a track of your actions and should focus on what you so and how you do. Actually you lose money when you make wrong decisions and that occurs when you do not focus on the market and the latest information.

Anyhow, focus again and have patience for the panic selling always results in loss. Another way is to hold your coins and wait for the market to recover.

512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find good bounty ? I need you . Help me ! on: October 09, 2018, 09:11:01 AM
you can use icobench etc. But last six months showed me it is about the luck . Points doesn't actually matter .
Using ICOBench can only just serve as a guideline, but in the real sense, you really need to take your time to do due diligence on the project yourself so you can be sure of where you are putting your time in. Just like an investor, that is how I expect smart bounty hunters to consider taking a look at projects as well.

You are investing your time and space here and you really do not want to be investing it in a project that sucks at the end of the day. The most important thing is to always consider all the options that make the team a very good bet, when it comes to team, product and vision.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About new BullRun. on: October 09, 2018, 08:12:22 AM
IMHO we will see bull run after wales will buy all our BTC and ETH) They need to make a great depo in crypto before pumping anything)
They obviously will not be able to buy everything as their target is usually the weak hands, and trust me, so many whales have accumulated already and once that is fully done, you would be surprise the level at which the market would start pumping pretty fast and then the same people who have been complaining about the market being crazily down and in the hope of trying to make quick bucks, they start being a part of FOMO and that is where they just usually get it all wrong.

Recovery is always bound to happen after a dip, and only those who are smart enough will always know that as long as they buy the dips, they are somewhat covered from the shenanigans of the whales.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: October 09, 2018, 07:38:23 AM
I would say that legal recognization would definitely change the situation and it will boost the pace of growth in the coming years. There is no option for the government other than legalizing cryptocurrencies because the users can use it with or without the permission of the government or any third party for that matter. When it comes to the volatility, it's the matter of mass awareness (among the users and investors) in my opinion so it's not the big deal on a larger timescale.
The only secret that led china to achieve this great international market and world leading economy is just the progress in their production of goods and services.

A huge portion of what china produces is exported to other countries and they have minimized their imports and use their own product which is the reason of such a great surplus in their balance of payment and overall wealth. They also have a big contribution in the crypto market but they have been a bit strict about it lately banning some as well.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 09, 2018, 06:39:45 AM
I was making money during 2017 and also until February this year by investing in ICO but since then trying to make money from ICO has been a fruitless task. Most of them have dropped in value by 30% or greater straight after launching.
Well, ICOs should not be looked at in a short term investment kind of way but instead should be seen as a long term investment. The fact that they are down now due to the bear market does not mean you still will not make your profit in the long run when things start getting rosy with the market.

There is always a different phase for a market and right now we are in a bulls phase and even the ICOs that has risen in the past as well are still finding it hard to cope with the bear trend as well, but in the long run, we will sure get to see a whole lot of things change.
516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What amount did you start to trade? on: October 09, 2018, 05:48:22 AM
The first time i started it was with 0,1 BTC (20e back in the days). But everyone has its own math about it, never invest more than you're ready to lose is the rule number 1. But if you want a price tag suggestion i would say 100$
$100 is actually a very good start. For me, I started with $500 but before then I was already trading with nothing using the demo platform of MT4 and bitmex to perfect my trading skills and all that I have learned and after few months of doing that and gaining some confidence in both markets, learning from the mistakes I have made, making amendments to my strategy.

I was then able to go into the real market with such funds. I usually do not suggest anyone to go straight trading the market with real life funds without practicing and getting good first.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH- WILL IT REPLACE BITCOIN TO BE A KING OF CRYPTO on: October 08, 2018, 12:37:27 PM
Do you think it'll happen in near future? Please suggest and comment here.

Nope I think it will not happened in future also

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and the best one.Bitcoin is the future.

Bitcoin cash is copied of the real bitcoin even logo, name and other also.it will be goes out of market I think.

Better invest in king of cryptocurrency bitcoin BTC

But if you think want to invest it's your wish.
I still wonder why some people keep letting Roger Ver fool them. Bitcoin Cash was not necessary, he only wanted to make himself richer and he keeps pumping and dumping his own coin just to be able to get richer at the expense of the gullible ones. That is how I see bitcoin cash and that is how I will always see bitcoin cash.

As far as I am concerned, it is just another shitty useless fork of a coin that has only been able to gain its position because it ended up forking from bitcoin and nothing else. Nothing different from bitcoin cash and every other forks of bitcoin out there as they all belong to the pit as far as I am concerned.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading tips based on years of experience --- by Raja on: October 08, 2018, 11:50:09 AM
The main thing is to understand the market situation and set the mind to buy the coins in more deep price you can say the full depth and lowest price of such coins that is only happen when you have maximum pending walls in different minimum prices, that will helps you more and more to get the coins in very best price and after stable of the market situation or if market go to the moon then you have a very good profit in the account.
Yeah, understanding the situation of the market will always help you to make better decisions and to always cross check the condition of each market to be able to take advantage of the fluctuations.

The OP has really shared some pretty good tips and for someone like me, I am always looking to increase my BTC stash anyway and anywhere I see an opportunity in alts, I always take it immediately without even a second thought.

It has really helped over the years to increase my position, but one thing is a lot of people are willing to want to trade, but they are not willing to learn, and somehow, this would always pose a great challenge.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: After Budget Cuts, the IRS’ Work Against Tax Cheats Is Facing “Collapse” on: October 08, 2018, 11:05:26 AM
If you keep getting tax cuts than you make the rich people richer, if you keep cutting the budget for the IRS you are making them weaponless against people who do not pay their taxes as well. We are talking about IRS, the governmental tax people who were so scary that they even put Al Capone into jail for not paying his taxes.

Al Capone, the mafia boss who did countless crimes was jailed for not paying his taxes properly. Now that IRS is no longer that scary companies and people all try to find a way to not pay their taxes and they are not scared of IRS doing anything about it. Without IRS, USA can't force taxes on anyone.
520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hodl or sell right now ? on: October 08, 2018, 10:47:10 AM
I still believe that crypto will be able to survive in the long run, I am not worried about the current market turmoil. And because crypto will survive in the long run, of course I prefer to hold rather than sell low.
Nothing is ever going to stop the cryptocurrency market from increasing in size, adoption, technology development and so many more in the long run. We are still in the early phase and we can see how things have evolved over the years and the lots of changes that we have seen happened.

Crypto is here to stay, blockchain technology is the future and in the face of real demand, I am sure by then, only laggards will be finding a high price to want to get in and asking themselves where they were when everyone was believing in the future.
