501  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC-e withdrawal issues? on: February 16, 2014, 08:40:14 PM
Did a test withdrawal and it hit my wallet instantly, delay was not measurable.

Stop spreading FUD.

BTW I would expect withdrawals to be have been flakey due to the malleability bug, in the past days? The larger a withdraw the more likely this would be; and require manual intervention. Just a theory...

if you got large withdrawals split them.

ANYONE who transfers btc from one exchange to another exchange DIRECTLY, during times like these, needs brainsurgery IMHO
First off, most of us are withdrawing BTC to our local wallets, and did so BEFORE the tx malleability issue was even talked about on the 10th. We were the first victims. It's been a week, withdrawals work fine now, but we are still missing our coins from the withdrawals on the 10th and 11th. We have also all received the same 'Hello. Fixed'" automated message to our support tickets, when nothing was fixed (coins never posted on blockchain or returned to btce account). It is subpar support at best. This is not FUD, it's what's actually happening.

I was going to dive into this, but it seems Phinn has it all covered. Please let me know if you need any help, Bruno.

Not for LTC, but a bunch of us are missing BTC since the 10th.

Here's hoping we see our coins this week, holyprofit! Amazing that an already horrible and lacking support desk takes the entire weekend off.

Maybe you should ?
Obvious scams should be deleted.
They are on every other forum on the internet.

I warned the moderators about this muppet and he was allowed to just carry on
Guys, simple put we cannot hold your hands through everything, you need to use your own brain now-and-again.
We have a trust system that is used for exactly this, so please, start using the trust system more (no-one can delete trust ratings apart from the person who sent it).

Edit*: I just saw he deleted every single page on his thread so I have put in a request to hopefully restore the posts. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424621.0)
An unpaid moderator on an online forums should be responsible for how irresponsibly you spend your money? Do you guys even read what you write?
506  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AvalonShenzhen SCAMMER on: February 16, 2014, 06:48:39 AM
The negative trust rating was after he robbed everyone...not terribly useful.
He def. did not have that when I dove in.

There were actually 3 or 4 on there for a few days prior to mine. I posted it as soon as i found out about it though. The problem was that only those with default trust or green trust ratings can leave an automatic red negative feedback. If you're looking at someone's profile and don't see any feedback, click their trust link, and then click untrusted feedback to double check in the future. It's a way of keeping the trust system in some sort of order.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424621.0

It shows nothing about "trust" at all, perfect for the bitscam.
You are mistaken. That's after the user moved it to the archival section (where it is now). Trust only shows in the marketplace, if i remember correctly. However, you can always access it from the user's profile.

OK but when I last saw it (the 1st post) trust was at 0/0, I was in group 3. Then I get PM all my posts deleted.
Click into the user's profile and then click untrusted feedback to confirm in the future.

I didn't lose anything to them, but I guess i could next time I am down there if we could verify an address. I have a gopro i've been dying to test out.

I'd like to beta test as well. I actively trade on btce and bitfinex.

How is it possible to dubble the coins. So If I deposite 1BTC I get 2BTC

Also I wanted to know I see now Total Deposited: 0.0216135 btc
If I deposite 1 btc Are you able to pay me 2 BTC after 48 hours with the Total Deposited: 0.0216135 btc? OR need I to wait until Total Deposited X is enough to pay me?
Why are you even contemplating this.

Anyone who does this deserves to have their money taken.

New account with a group buy? Sure, why not!
85 btc in a few hours - power of the Dumb Side.

go fuck yourself asshole.
Done. What now?

Now nothing douchebag.  You are a senior member of this forum and to post something as smug and arrogant as that makes you a fucking asshole. And as for whatever else this bullshit is that you aren't coming out and saying allow me to just point out a few things...

I'm not some skell trolling the forum for a way to burn people...I'm 40+ yrs old with a family and a job in real life.
I met someone who is on this forum in person and handed them a nice chunk of change for a piece of hardware.  There was no bullshit...no story...no drama & no problems.  He handed me the hardware and I handed him an envelope full of money.

I came to this forum because it seemed to be the best place to learn and get involved in this grand experiment but the more time I spend here the more I see what the true purpose of this place is.  TO RIP PEOPLE OFF.

The forum is complicate in every one of these scams.  They do nothing about it and then those of us who lose our hard earned cash get told as a bonus that we fucking deserved it.

I don't beat around the bush. If i have something to say, I say it. So I'm not sure what you're trying to imply, however I am glad that simple comment got you so heated. Perhaps you will learn the third time. Either way, getting this irate at people that actually tried to help those who were scammed out is just plain ridiculous. you're clearly not in a proper state of mind. I hope you take some time to cool off.

EDIT: perhaps you missed my negative trust rating of him?
"Member operating a group buy on a moderated thread, deleting any questions or comments about the legitimacy of it. No units received thus far. Every move screams scammer so far. Will remove my rating when a reputable member provides proof of delivery. Forums members should exercise EXTREME caution when purchasing from this group buy."
515  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I am having problems trying to get refund from AvalonShenzhen on: February 16, 2014, 01:48:16 AM
The plot thickens!

There's no plot...I was unlucky enough to get taken twice.  In the first one I got back a tiny amount of what I lost and I still have no idea why if the guy got away with it he would refund anything.  I was trying to remain civil with the guy in an attempt to recover my lost money.  There's nothing more to it than that.
I am glad you have calmed down. I sincerely hope your money gets returned. I also urge you and anyone else conducting business on these forums to please review TC's guide - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137288.0. Lots of time went into developing that for no other motive than to help out.

Best of luck in the future, iglasses.

I got taken in this one too...same reason....I see previous buys that look like they went well...see senior members involved....NO threads saying hey this guy is a thief...
Fuck my fucking life.

another 1.1 btc gone forever.

and I'm getting tired of hearing 'use your own brain'...its quite obvious that this entire website is little more than a front for these thieves.  This place is a haven for crooks who get protection FROM the site.

What is the IP Address(s) of this POS?   bitcointalk won't tell us!
The very idea of these 'self moderated' threads are conducive to these scams.

The fucking site is AT BEST allowing these people to rip us off...at worst they are involved and profiting from it.

I'm fucking sick of this shit.

And then the site MOVES the topic into scam accusations because as we all know what's REALLY IMPORTANT is to not have off topic shit in the Groupbuy section

How about NOT moving ANOTHER fucking thread about ANOTHER fucking thief that YOU are protecting assholes....

I wonder how long it will take before this gets deleted???
There were no senior members involved. You may have thought there were, but you didn't do your due diligence (read above- they were made up names). I appreciate the fact you are upset, every normal person would be, but this is not the way to react. You're yelling at the people who tried to help out by painting his trust red and getting the mods involved.

I'm fucking sick of hearing people say use your brian, etc.

This forum has to answer for being part of people getting ripped off on a daily basis.  You have created an environment where the thieves get protection...plain and simple.

Something is going to be done about this.

WTF good does it do to flag them?  They just create new accounts and go on as if nothing ever happened.  Flagging them is a fucking waste of time.
Why would this forum be responsible for your carelessness? How is this, in any way, anyone's fault but your own?
520  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC-e withdrawal issues? on: February 15, 2014, 11:58:23 PM
Thats not btc-e support for sure. That is 100% scammer material right there.

I'm glad you say that. That would be scary wouldn't it?!
Dude, my blood was boiling reading it. Was that via skype?
