Check out that Monthly chart, there's nothing quite like it so far.

Very different to what came before....very different!

And what’s your conclusion

It's different to previous run ups.

I agree. It looks like an order of magnitude less stable, which is part of my calculation that proves this is the final unwinding. Possibly some resistance punching through $1,000, but after that we'll swiftly be closer to the fair market value of about $100/btc.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to sell BTC: $80K, $100K or $150K? on: February 27, 2021, 07:35:20 PM
If you follow scientific science and math, then the clear selling point is now. Right now. Short. High margin. Close your position when bitcoin goes to $0 in the next couple of years. This is one of the easiest get rich quick opportunities in the history of the human planet.

Ehi wo gang, I have been a little bit out of WO flow recently, but I read this big news from JPM:

JPMorgan Says Investors Could Make Bitcoin 1% of Portfolios

Quote

“In a multi-asset portfolio, investors can likely add up to 1% of their allocation to cryptocurrencies in order to achieve any efficiency gain in the overall risk-adjusted returns of the portfolio,” strategists including Joyce Chang and Amy Ho wrote in a note Wednesday.

JPM says a lot of things about bitcoin, but you can bet that bow they are ready to sell some shitty bitcoin related product to their clients bow, so they are trying to convince everyone it is a legit product.

In addition to that a very bullish thing to me.

When I decided to buy bitcoin I made a few back of the envelope calculation. The first one was about gold parity, pointing to 350k dollar at the time (now more in the 500k region).

A second one was about the answer of the following question: what if everyone put 1% of their financial wealth on bitcoin.

So a few computation (getting updated figures for gold parity consistency):

World financial wealth (Credit Suisse 2020) : 360 Trln
1% : 3.60 Trillion
This has to becdivided over
21 million bitcoins (I want a conservative number)

Target price: 170,000 USD

Not bad.
Bullish.
My body is ready.

if $3.6 trillion get invested in btc, it would send the price beyond the oort cloud, which again would result in a way higher market cap. a dollar invested means more than a dollar added to market cap.

1% of global wealth will never make it's way into bitcoin. I don't even need to do my calculations to have confirmation of that.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 26, 2021, 09:18:23 PM
I did another round of rigorous confirmed calculations this morning based on the best math and science and I can confirm that the irrational exuberance is over and we are entering the final and most dismal correction.

OK, so what would you advise us to do?

Sell now?
Everything?

Or maybe sell some percentage (say 50-80%) and keep the rest of the BTC just in case?

And also, what should we buy? USD? EUR? JPY? (I've always wanted to visit Japan BTW.)

Your advice on this is highly appreciated, thanks.

Sell now. Everything. Short on high margin is best. Ultimately you want to be heavy in USD. Preferably in a low yield savings account, which is proven to be the safest. If you want a little risk in your profile, then perhaps 1% in ripple.

proudhon, why not just admit you’re a massive whale who comes on here to troll. We all know you’ve got thousands of bitcoin. Just admit it!

Money is going to leave the bitcoin ecosystem over the next 12 months (and forever after on average). Bitcoin will never reach that price. If it does, I'll buy $10k worth and give it to you.

Can I also have $10 grand Mr. Proudhon?  Grin

No

509  Economy / Speculation / Re: $80k within 6 weeks, new ATH October 2021 on: February 26, 2021, 02:17:33 PM

Credibility?  Not much but I bought my first Bitcoin in 2013 and I've been watching the market for a long time.  Just putting it out there.
.

Same for me hodling since 2013. Should have bought and mined more  Tongue
So meaning both of you are still Holding since 2013 ?

Common man seriously ? have not tempted to sell off recently ? when the price rose up to 58,000?

or even when the price went up in 2017 ATH of 20,000?

Yup I held through through those dips. So went through the emotional “I’m fucked, will it ever recover” cycle quite some times.
My funds all safely offline to prevent hacks and exchanges going bust.

Recently I bought for $2500 and sold a bit of the $25k it became. In effect making all my Bitcoin endeavors forever profitable. For me it’s money I never missed and I’m only getting out partially when set for life.

Even without Bitcoin I’m in peak financial position.

I’ve always viewed it as a lottery ticket, not as spendable money...
But yes it’s accumulated nicely ... have plans to actively gain more this cycle...

That's very inspirational, I hope someday my I have a good source of income that I will be able to hold my bitcoin earning for longer term. It's good to invest but it's bad to just risk everything in bitcoin without having savings in life, that's what I learn so I'm working hard to be able to invest easily.

Buy at the bottom... in about 15 months. E.g. 1 BTC @ 35k
Forget about it for 10 years and it should have gone up and down like
35k -> 1M -> 200k -> 5M is within those 10 years... 5M is a low estimate

58k -> 46k -> 35k -> 20k -> 10k -> 11k -> 5k -> 3k -> 4k -> 1k -> irrelevantcoin (2023)
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2021, 11:42:49 PM
I hope we're not in for years of slow downward slide again. That was demoralizing.

This is going to be THE downward slide. If you don't want to be demoralized, then sell everything, or aggressively short at maximum leverage. There will not be another bull run.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2021, 08:52:05 PM
proudhon was right. time to pack it in before the government deletes the coins

The only way to save the coins is to devalue the coins below $100 which is closer to the mathematically proven true market value and not the fake news "value" of today. At that point the government won't bother deleting because bitcoin will be in its proper, irrelevant place. If you love bitcoin, aggressively short it with maximum leverage. You'll finally earn real money, and you'll save the coin (if you care about that).
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2021, 05:01:12 PM

Motherfuckers are trying to link bitcoin to domestic terrorism in the USA.  Live hearing:
https://youtu.be/srCtXCY9GNg

Definitely the fault of BTC. There was never been any terrorism in or attacks on the USA before Jan 6.

This a perfect moment to short BTC (aka terrorism money) before the government deletes it. If you can, use maximum leverage.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to $100K is inevitable on: February 25, 2021, 04:37:58 PM
Here's a good place to begin. Once you understand this you have a foundation for the next steps that prove 100% that bitcoin should be aggressively shorted and cannot sustain these prices and will never reach $100k.

515  Economy / Speculation / Re: QEW on: February 25, 2021, 04:26:47 PM
I can confirm this, and have reliable sources in China that can also confirm it too.

China has become both the largest producer and purchaser of gold, they dont especially export afaik.   Its very much the policy to accumulate gold rather then dollar reserves in the traditional global reserve system.   Its quite a straight forward conclusion they intend to move away from purely FIAT trade towards some like gold related standard.    The problem being at century start China had no gold and being such a large country they spike the price of any commodity they engage with, hence the low key accumulation but because its continual the trend is fairly obvious for gold vs dollar imo.
QE policy is going to end up being viewed as nonsense in retrospect, that is a reason for panic imo but its without sound or warning like tsunami maybe the hints are there we will see a vast landscape change.

I can confirm sgbett's Chinese sources, and did many late night math calculations with scientific proofs to 100%.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 25, 2021, 04:25:04 PM

Not at all! I'm simply using proof, logic, facts, words, math, and science word facts to help people understand how to be safe financial investors by shorting bitcoin on maximum leverage to take advantage of the greatest short opportunity on this planet so far.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: US Tether in the courts on: February 25, 2021, 04:20:28 PM
Tether is a safer investment than bitcoin. Scientists, like myself, have confirmed this.

The true news that isn't fake news is that the only reason the fake bitcoin money is above $10k right now is because of deep state terrorists. I've confirmed this with proven sources and proven calculations. The safest thing to do right now is maximum leverage bitcoin shorting, which is beginning to happen and which is why bitcoin is falling back into its natural extreme downtrend. Some proven confirmation can be seen here:

Bitcoin will never reach $100k. Guaranteed. Proven. Confirmed.

not sure it will hit 100k this year even though i think it will

but would like to ask

Guranteed from who?
Proven How??
confirmed when???

maybe it will maybe it wont but is all speculations and nothing solid

This is not speculation. It's guaranteed by proven math and science calculations and confirmed by true news sources from sources that are not fake news.

out of genuine interest can you share some of the calculations and sources
many thanks

I don't have time to explain all of the complicated proven science and math right now. You can figure it out for yourself with a little bit of research if you know how to do math and science. Basically, if math and science is true, then bitcoin will fail 100% and can never sustain these fake news prices.

I want to call your attention so something else I proved with math and science and tried to warn the world about many years ago:
