OP fails to mention that wearing their signature is mandatory to participate.

Of course you don't get paid for that.

Stake knows this very well since they have a running signature campaign right here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092506.0

This is borderline acceptable.

When offering to wear the signature for a comparable rate as in the campaign (half the price of Hero as I am a Sr Member) the answer was "thank you for your interest".

I advise you people to stay clear until they have clear and fair guidelines, which doesn't seem to be the case today.

5123  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie 2tf Begging for Merit Via PM on: January 24, 2019, 03:51:33 PM
Do you think that a neutral tag would be more appropriate for this kind of Merit-abuse? You may be right, but certainly there should be some consequence to abusing the merit system.

I'd say it would.

But if he hasn't understood the  system and is begging for merit because he doesn't know better, or even if he DOES know and still begs, that still doesn't make him untrustworthy.

That just makes him a shitposter trying to get merit the easy way.

I won't put him in the same bag as a scammer/thief/extortionist/etc.

Für was wird sowas gebraucht?

kP was du willst. Steht alles im OP.
5125  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie 2tf Begging for Merit Via PM on: January 24, 2019, 03:12:55 PM
This isn't reason enough for Red Tag IMHO.

Theymos himself doesn't like people getting tagged over merit stuff.
5126  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: phantastisch im Urlaub? on: January 24, 2019, 02:53:12 PM

5127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 24, 2019, 01:39:44 PM
Now I understand a bit about France, so you must be talking only the major cities, I doubt villages have NFC payments going on. The US is really vast, and lots of the smaller towns don't follow trend, I figure this is the same with France and their small villages. The exception for the small towns are the large corporations.

Depends on your definition of village.
I come from the mountains, about 5000 inhabitants, and most stores/bars have NFC already.
5128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 24, 2019, 01:30:25 PM
Except how fucking slow would that rollout be? In the US we still have payment terminals requiring you to swipe instead of inserting the chip, which I'm pretty sure has been mandated by law.

Dunno for the USA. In france the deployment of NFC  was blazing fast tho. Few years and like everybody has it.

Be happy Globb0 its the best device Wink especially when their are Some won BTC on it Cheesy

I have a ledger blue as well, but prefer the nano s more Smiley

Love mine too. best Black Friday investment ever.
5129  Other / Meta / Re: [Local boards] Boards not showing trust - German board w/o moderator on: January 24, 2019, 01:15:50 PM
Personally, i don't agree with this, and a guy painted red would not have that affect on my opinions about his points. Especially in politics discussions, which most of people already have their own opinions formed.

This argumentum ad hominem is a fallacy.
If the tagged guy has a point in a discussion, personal attacks about his tag do not prove that his wrong, but only the opponent own inability to argue.

Not showing tags everyone on the forum because there a few incapable users is a non-sense to me.

Tags are used to mark users as scammers, not as fools. They are capable to argue and defend their views by themselves. Hiding tags because "they would not be able to prove their point if tagged" is like babysitting scammers. They are capable of defending themselves in discussions.

In theory you are right, and I hope I would be able too. But in the end subconsciousness is a thing. Wow can't believe I spelled that one right.
5130  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: phantastisch im Urlaub? on: January 24, 2019, 01:01:47 PM

I would be very unhappy if my phone got stolen with all my crypto on it Cheesy

this wallet is not supposed to store large amounts. I think this should only be used like a old school fiat wallet.

Exactly pointed that out as well in the french thread.
Compatibility with some of the newest NFC payment terminals would be awesome. Like if the terminal could handle Visa & crypto.

Presumably they’d be password protected & backed up to some sort of cloud? You could recover your coins then on a new phone?
Be dumb to keep your main stash on your phone any way. Every day spending amounts would be cool though.

Yes but again, it would be just as secured as the place your store you backup is.
Also if you can only restore it in another samsung wallet, you are kinda hooked by samsung and have to buy a new ... samsung phone.

not something i look forward to.

I'd rather buy that crap bluetooth Ledger X.

For the meanwhile I will wait for ledger to allow me to connect my ledger S to my phone via OTG. Just missing their ledger live app for android.
5133  Economy / Services / Re: Chinese, French, Japanese & Korean Required on: January 24, 2019, 12:51:52 PM
Still looking for Chinese, French, Japanese & Korean  Smiley

I'd be happy to take the french part.

not familiar about how you plan to pay tho. Can you be more specific to how the coupon can be redeemed?
Also what would be the rate /update posted?

Thank you.

Sehr hilfreich!

5136  Other / Meta / Re: [Local boards] Boards not showing trust - German board w/o moderator on: January 24, 2019, 11:58:48 AM
all section of the forum can show every users trust level

This would be a bit too much. In some areas it would be counter productive.
For instance in politics or serious discussions. If the guy is painted red it could weaken his point, even if he is right.

5137  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: phantastisch im Urlaub? on: January 24, 2019, 10:23:31 AM

5138  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: The Ledger Nano S firmware 1.5.5 update on: January 24, 2019, 09:16:01 AM
It's because metamask is different from ledger live, and many users want to use the ledger live as all in one wallet software with nano s without any other third party app.

Sorry but either you have no clue, or you are completely missing the point.

The app on the Ledger has nothing to do with ledger live. This app had already the ability to handle ERC20 tokens transaction, Metamask integration is the proof, the compatibility with DDEX is another evidence of that.

To make it work with ledger live they just had to adapt the ledger live app, no need to make any modification to the app on the ledger.
5139  Other / Meta / Re: Banned account. on: January 24, 2019, 08:58:26 AM
Was it not made clear enough this is a scam?
Any reeason why you say its a scam? Who was scammed?

Your incapacity to do your own research is concerning.

Especially given the amount of red flags the project has/had.
