With account sales including private keys, email, etc., it's a crap shoot. Set the criteria for recovery and get the ball rolling; something needs to be done so I volunteered. I spend some time here anyway, may as well benefit the forum. It shouldn't take a few hours. Set the burden of proof and go from there, if you can't come to some conclusion in 20-30 minutes then it is probably a lost cause.
Ironically this was his last message here on the forum posted back in August. It appears that his retirement from the forum was not planned. I didn't get to know him, but he seems like the kind person who'll be missed. Best wishes to KWH. Signature verified.

Maybe I'm missing something technical, forgive me if so... But, is this what you're seeing: I've never needed to save the transaction at this point. You can copy it, display the QR code, or export it from here. Any of those three ways are capable of transferring the transaction to your cold wallet. I believe the Save button only activates when you're importing transactions.

I doubt that most people would assume that you two are the same person just because you've both named yourselves after a famous actor. Like others have suggested, you can add an avatar, and even so far as to leave neutral feedback for all accounts with Johnny and Depp in the account name.

1. First off, if i open my electrum wallet now, will it ask me to update to the newest version via a message? No. Or it only will show me this message if i try to send btc? If your transaction happens to be accepted by one of the compromised servers, yes. Or i might not even get this message and i could send the btc? Yes, this is the most likely outcome. The other thing is if you do receive this message, i assume you can close that message as say no or x it out? Is it clicking no or closing the message by x'ing it out? Yes, that also works. Should i just go to www.electrum.org and download the newest up to date electrum on the website? That's what I would do. Only download Electrum from https://electrum.org/#home. If you are concerned about the safety of using electrum, keep in mind; your security is your responsibility. If I were you, I would do as you've described in your second point; update to the latest version before accessing your wallet. But before you install the latest version of electrum learn to verify the signature. Learning to check the signature, and doing so every time you download an updated version should put your mind at ease when using electrum. It really is one of the best desktop wallets to use, and it's worth learning to use it safely. For verifying the download I use Gpg4win.

I always thought gambling was a tax on people who are bad at math. Maybe arithmetic is lost on the younger members?
LOL! Can't disagree with your assessment. What is it that makes people think casino owners must be in the business of giving money away? Maybe it helps in my case because I know I suck at gambling. How can I be so sure? I ALWAYS get invited to poker night. @DireWolfM14 not all threads are real scam accusations. Some threads are questions like "is Cloudbet scam?", I noticed one scam accusation where player didn't want to share their account name even asked several times by Cloudbet, most scam accusations are resolved and in some cases player cheated site (created account and then created another account using referral link of their first account). That's what I've been seeing as well. I'm still waiting for valid and irrefutable evidence of a scam. The number of threads about cloudbet being a scam is really only evidence how many users the platform has. Thrill, excitement, chance to win... Players who beat house and have won life changing amounts exist but they are extremely rare. But yeah, mostly tax on... That's really what it is. Unfortunate for those who participate; the majority tend to be those who can least afford it. It's buying "the dream."

I have my Trezor wallet's master public key in a watch-only Electrum wallet, and I just tried to very the message with that, but it also failed. I imagine the bitcoin development team has bigger fish to fry, but it would be nice to have signatures and verification standardized.

Having to rely on a single app to get from my seed to my keys makes me a bit nervous. So it would be nice to have an alternative. Ian Colemans BIP39 page is very good, however it doesn't work for electrum seeds. https://iancoleman.io/bip39/However it seems this page can be easily modified so it does work with electrum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2373020.0However this doesn't work with Bech32 addresses - the addresses don't match the electrum wallet. So does anybody now how to get the Bech32 addresses working? Thanks. A Trezor hardware wallet will generate segwit seed phrases that can be imported into Electrum. They won't be Bech32, but they will be native seqwit (p2sh) addresses that start with 3. If you're concern is security of the seed phrase, you can use an off-line computer to generate the phrases. Once you've backed them up safely there's really no reason to worry about where they came from.

Isn't it interesting that when adults discuss things civilly, the outcome is both accounts in question burying the hatchet, red trust being removed, and both accounts being left in the green (from a default trust point of view). Compare that to calling people names and spamming multiple threads. You might want to mention the difference in that self-moderated thread for the consideration of your friends. (I've tried, but my posts are always deleted.) Also, general commendations to the users involved here for doing just that - approaching this like adults and being mature enough to sort things out politely. The forum needs more of this. - You should be willing to forgive past mistakes if the person seems unlikely to do it again. I was thinking the same thing as I was reading this thread. Civil discourse could solve many problems on this forum. People just have to remain calm enough to initiate the discussion in a civil manner when they feel they have been wronged. Go into the discussion assuming that given the opportunity, most people will do the right thing.

@Quickseller How do you expect suchmoon to prove OP to be false when these messages are faked/manipulated, never existed in the first place? Let's pretend it was your name there, how exactly would you prove them to be false? Asking theymos if senders IP match with another account which was back in may 2018 selling mining hardware on this forum. If not ban thule IP addresses don't mean squat. I don't log into the forum without VPN, and most times my IP is different than the last time. If it is different, and Thule gets banned, how many sockpuppet accounts do you get to choose from?

I find it interesting that almost all claims of scam against cloudbet come from newbies. Very few from established bitcointalk accounts. Sure I think it's possible all of these accounts are actually new members, but the majority of them? It makes me suspicious that most of these claims are frivolous.
Also it's worth noting that several of these "withdraw scam" claims are commonly addressed when the customer submits KYC. I don't blame folks for not wanting to comply with KYC requirements, but then don't use the service.
Cludbet is one of the biggest online crypto casinos. It's bound to have a few detractors, or those who are unhappy with the service they receive, considering how many customers they have.

Do you accuse me of framing ?
I do. There are so many things wrong with this allegation, and the screen shots offered as "proof." First off; that's not the avatar suchmoon was wearing at the time of the alleged conversation. I recall, because I was new to the forum then, and suchmoon was one of those who I noticed immediately as one of the good guys. Second; the trust rating for suchmoon could only be displayed that way if the person who was allegedly scammed had modified his default trust settings. If that were the case, why would the seller send a $9,000 piece of equipment to someone who is distrusted by those whom he trusts? Third; $9,000 for D9? Forth; why didn't the seller report suchmoon for this transgression himself, and why didn't he do so months ago? Fifth; you are a shit disturber of the highest order, and it seems like something you would do to tarnish the reputation of some whom you dislike. So, yeah. I think you are attempting to frame suchmoon for something he didn't do. If you care to prove me wrong, please do.

Is this a joke? a joke, right?
No. This is a serious project. It's very serious! More serious than I can understand. Serious as a hart attack. No, seriously forget the moon, this project is shooting Sirius. And it's got the status. I'm like, seriously, bro.

Quoted but message failed to verify. Not sure what's wrong, will try to verify it again later.
Same here, tried in Electrum but could't verify it. Looks like it's a SegWit address, phishead has to sign another message again. Hmm.. I'm using trezor, not sure what happened. Let me try again. ---BEGIN MESSAGE--- This is Phishead at Bitcointalk and today is February 6th ---BEGIN ADDRESS--- 32TkSBjSjskT8WcWRavs16LA13XWFsEMsv ---BEGIN SIGNATURE--- IzYqubu5v35iNkE+AzeDONwmC8YwGuGmQxcYZPbg+oOGIq8xMZIzxmlHNQUulQ9Ta4DUcOoKoUy1T8NJboDolEE= ---END MESSAGE---
I had the same issue with my Trezor Model T. You'll need to use Electrum or another Trezor to verify. I'm traveling for work atm, or I would check it for you.

I hate all the hate.
With all the personalities on this forum we're bound to have a lot of disagreements, and even more drama. That's to be expected. The hate and vicious lies are another thing all together.

According to Bitfinex's historic data, the average price of BTC was $8,051.80. $120 would have been 0.015 BTC. And, who in their right mind would pay $8k for a used D9?
Next time you want to attack someone's character at least take the time to refine your lies.

There is no hate on my end. Bob just possesses a lack of tolerance to anyone who won't suck his tiny penis that he wants peeps to believe is bery bery bery BIG. "There is no hate at all on my end. I'm just a homophobe that likes to think he's holier-than-thou, and can't stand it that some humorous random person of color is more successful than I am, and has retired to a life of shitposting. So I'll just passive-aggressively chide the fellow on being a bit of a character, because my own shit smells absolutely like roses." FTFY. Get a room! And who care's if JJG is a homo or a thespian, frolicking along, to the sound of music, tip-towing through the two-lips, smacking anti-Semites with a neon green dildo? Live and let live, bitches!

It looks like Saint-loup is on DT2 by way of Halab, who is DT1. Most of Saint-loup's reviews seem appropriate and contain references. I can't help but agree with all of them, even his review of you is accurate. @OP, PM Saint-loup and ask him to reconsider his review. Point him in the direction of this thread. I think most DT1 member would agree that his review of you seems petty, and is an abuse DT2 powers. If Saint-loup won't reconsider you can ask Halab to remove him from his list. ETA:

I wondered what I was doing wrong. It's all good though. I seem to recall copying some one else's list (a momentary laps of judgement) that could be how you and amishmanish ended up there. Rimming wasn't a factor.
