Reddit does not have any better quality discussions and there is no incentive to post there except for collecting karma but collecting karma is enough for people to post things that they know will get them karma instead of real discussions so I think it is a problem of culture and not a problem limited to the forum.
Signature campaigns keep this forum alive as much as we might not like to admit to it doing that but it creates activity and we are very low on activity atm if people were not getting paid and not earning btc then btc would probably be less used to because a lot of signature campaign participants cannot offer their services for payment in btc but can offer advertising services by posting good posts.
Yeah, all that echo chambering and karma farming is rampant. Classic Reddit. Wait until you come across r/cryptocurrency, the amount of shills for shitcoin X only to sing a different tune about it days later just for the MOON becomes the norm. But let's say if it's just r/bitcoin then the posts are hardly incentivized. Let's forgo the karma thingy because that helps keep popular/ top comments where they belong. Tipping is a thing but not everyone does that so posting more doesn't guarantee one gets paid. Back to the signature campaigns, I'm not against them. Knowing that everyone needs money, this place will be almost as dry as a Sahara desert if it does away with bounties as well. Let's be real. Shitposters are the byproducts but that's the small price to pay to remain relevant in this kind of business model. |

But in the end signatures / tag lines / ads have been on forums forever. Some are more like here where people can pick and choose and apply, others places they are sold through the forum itself.

Just to clarify, Theymos implied in his PM to me that I didn't need to wait nearly as long as I did before he granted my name change (which was over 2 years I think). He told me I should have been more persistent in reminding him, which I basically just did none of.

78 satoshis is a pretty decent amount to claim every hour with just one click.
Here I've seen a drop from 45 satoshis base reward to 32 satoshis right now, after the recent pump in btc price. I believe once bitcoin hit higher price levels futurely, it will be like we are claiming 0,10$ for free every hour as base reward (that is, if bitcoin grows x10 yet). I'd say it's average. I can imagine those that wagered a shitton receiving several hundred Sats. Even with the high prices, this is the only faucet worth claiming from. Better if you have referrals that are motivated enough as well. |

I would have to agree with this. If they would post fewer but more qualitative posts, it would be easier to read through and gather the information you need without shuffling through many many pages of unimportant posts.
But I am guessing they care more about bumping the thread so everyone can see it on the first page more than they care about providing quality marketing material which is actually of use to the community.
Most casinos do not do this but I do not see anyone getting reprimanded for this, so I guess its ok?

If you (ever) bother to go through the previous pages, I adhere to the once-a-day bump rather than bumping multiple times (save for a few responses). Then, the contents are definitely promotional. Well, in this case, I think before you say the company is not fair to you, you should reconsider yourself. I do not claim that you do not do well or do not complete the assigned work, but evaluate fairly and objectively to find out the cause. I believe the company does that for a reason, maybe new people have better knowledge, do better work, or they know how to please their superiors more than you...Or the company is looking to replace you with more enthusiastic young people, and they don't want to fire you, they want you to resign yourself.
The thing is that, the company itself has a very high turnover rate. I was informed that even the seniors that joined before me left within after 1- 2 years. Also faced the same thing. Empty promises. |

Not that they are not content but most because they are aiming or looking for better compensation, and if they can do it by extending
their limits finding the right side job or part times.
They can add more to thier monthly salary, money that they can use to address their finances
a very big help for them to have a much lighter and easier in terms of daily needs.
Using an example of myself at the physical office I work at, I along with my other coworkers haven't gotten a raise since I joined, while only a selected few got theirs as soon as 1 year after joining. Similar workload too. Why work at a company that doesn't know how to appreciate their staffs? On another note, part-time is definitely one thing and I'm thankful of having some but as age catches up, your expenses increasingly shift towards the basic necessities such as housing/ family and groceries. |
