dev team, it's very necessary to make "backup" option
I don't want to overcompliment ourselves but I think they're a bit afraid to launch the backup/export option since Delta ( https://getdelta.io) came along. It would make it much easier for lots of BF users to make the switch, so I'm guessing this is why they quietly ditched the plan to do this. Or they're looking for a way that doesn't expose the data to the users. And truth be told, we'd probably would offer a way for users to then import their data to Delta. But we'll also allow for data export (in CSV format) soon, which would mean they can do the same basically. But hey, we're not here to judge their business, I understand their reasoning. Just downloaded Delta and I see no reason at all to keep using it.. just a slightly prettier version of Blockfolio with less focus on numbers. Well, we have support for ICO's, multiple portfolios, deduct from holdings and we're launching CSV import/export + API import + desktop version before the end of the year or by end of January the latest. So wouldn't call that 'no reason at all to keep using it'. IF your app currently had those, then yes it would be very worth looking into. But right now there is no reason to switch.

It has been a month or so since I tried it on a TB250-BTC+ (8 Card) Board and it did not work. Is that fixed now? Did not matter if it was Nvidia or AMD it just did not like board.
There hasn't been an update in over a month so I'm going to go with no...

Any ETA for supporting XMR-Stak's new unified version? That's pretty much all I'm running these days. I so desperately want to use Awesome Miner and XMR-Stak that I'm considering writing an adapter program to emulate Claymore so I can feed XMR-Stak's data back to Awesome Miner. But I don't want to invest that time if support for XMR-Stak will be coming in the next month or two.
I have this written and running well. Please elaborate. I threw together a quick app last night to emulate a Claymore API to serve as a bridge between AM and XMR-Stak. Was quite easy actually and I think will work well enough for now. It's pretty cool to control XMR-Stak and see hash rates and profit show up in AM. I would like to also do the same for Cast XMR but I can't find any way to get hash rates out of it. Same, just what you did there except I used the CCminer API. Have you had any issues with Stak locking up during GPU initialization (usually on device 0)? This seems to happen if you restart Stak too quickly after it was running. I believe it is more of a driver issue than anything - I just reboot and fire it back up.

CAST has no API to use, you're stuck using STAK for the time.

Dev you still alive? Almost a month since the last update. Are we ever going to get an API?

When i disable my new Vega 56 and re-enable in device manager, it cannot recover to OK state. Instead an error is shown, the device is not working properly, sometimes even BSOD. When i restart PC, the GPU is working OK again.
Tried reinstalling blockchain drivers with DDU, switching risers, cables, but did not help. Do you have any idea why this is happening? (i need to do the disable/enable process for monero mining)
You have a bad GPU. Took me days to figure it out. Get it replaced.

An API for pool switching + remote monitoring is sorely needed.

Currently using a Z170A MSI M5 board. Guess it's back to MC to try a Z270 board.
I used the Z170A M5 for my two linux/470/570 rigs. Works flawlessly. But for VEGA was reading it's really finniky with boards. So I broke down and bought the slitghty more expensive (even more so on Amazon) Asrock H110 Pro+ board. I only need 4 of the 13 slots, but people reporting good results for Vega (even though the reviews people complain about it a lot). Yes I have several of the M5's and they work amazing for 8 570s. Thank you for this. It's available same day shipping for me. It'll be here this afternoon. In the meantime I grabbed THREE different boards from MC to try them out as well. How are you getting on with the new boards, dude? Expecting my Onda D1800 any day now, can't wait to start inflicting myself the pain of trying to get 6 Vegas to hash... Each of the 3 have their own problems not allowing them to work correctly. My "same day shipping" order from Amazon never arrived Oh man. That's a major pain in the @ss. If the Vega's work on the Onda mobo I'll definitely let you know. I've got all the parts for the rig except said mobo and an extension lead so I reckon I'll be ready to crack on some time next week. Board finally showed up. Somehow plugging in my SSD into it killed the SSD. Using a slow ass spinning rust drive and now the machine bluescreens whenever I tell it to disable crossfire. Gonna do a clean install tonight..

That case would be nice to have but holy crap I can build frames and buy shelving for far less and management is easier.

Anyone experience issues with manually resetting their Vega cards in device manager?
I cannot re-enable my Vega 56 in device manager after disabling. Toggling HBCC in Wattman causes the driver to crash and the card is missing from Wattman. The only way to fix this is to reboot the rig.
Using the latest Aug23 block chain drivers in Windows 10 x64 with latest creators update 1709 (have tried previous Windows 10 builds with similar results)
The only driver that allows me to reset the cards is the latest 17.11.1 driver but from what I can tell this is not the optimal driver for mining.
Only getting a max hash rate of 1300H/s using cast-xmr from a single Vega 56 when others are getting much higher.
Spent 2 days so far with no luck.
My system specs Motherboard: Biostar TB250-BTC Memory: 1x8GB CPU: Celeron G3950 Video cards: Just a single Vega 56 + integrated GPU Virtual memory: Fixed at 64GB
Any help appreciated.
I am experiencing this exact issue as well with a different board. No resolution so far.

Okay surprise surprise.. with two cards if I toggle HBC on card #1 it works just fine. If I toggle HBC on #2 (previously working) now card #2 disappears from Crimson.. it's always the "last" listed card in Crimson. This is quite interesting.
Dude, have you flashed your bios to the latest version? Otherwise try another mobo. Or play around with the PCI-E settings in bios. It sounds like there could be some inconsistencies there. Yep flashed to the latest version. I've tried PCIe Gens 1, 2, and 3. I'll be grabbing a Z370 mobo from Microcenter this afternoon. Let us know how that works out. Which mobo did you use so far out of interest? Oh fucking hell the Z370's ONLY support 8th gen CPUs even those the socket is the same. Fuck you Intel. Currently using a Z170A MSI M5 board. Guess it's back to MC to try a Z270 board.

So I have an interesting finding..
I have to re-enable HBC after every reboot. I can enable HBC for the first two listed cards in Crimson just fine, but once I get to the third listed card and enable HBC on it.. once Crimson comes back that third card is no longer listed in Crimson. Windows still sees the device but I cannot use card #3 at all, cast and stak both report it does not exist. If I reboot, HBC shows as enabled in Crimson but I get shit hashes. Once I toggle on/off HBC on the cards then I'm hashing again at full speed. However I am unable to ever enable HBC on card #3.. and I'm scared to even plug card #4 back in now..
Gonna go pull the 3rd card and see what happens then..
