521  Economy / Services / Re: DISCOUNT PAID TX ACCELERATION SERVICES on: January 09, 2024, 09:22:31 PM
Why didn't you copy your entire post from Reddit, especially the part about the price? At a time when the high priority fee is just over $2, you are asking for a minimum of $40 for your service...Even if it is half less than that, it seems to me that you are looking for naive victims who still think that the fees are the same as they were a week ago.

Quote
Pricing starts at $40 USD with all proceeds going to the miners, and for this you get your transaction sent to a large pool of mining companies who will add the transaction to a successfully mined block and have it confirmed usually within hours.. if not quicker.

I'm also surprised about OP's service, after reading his post I had to check mempool.space to see if there's another congestion and this is what I saw
High Priority 31 sat/vB $2.08

Why now why did you not do this last month or why hurry to post this and wait for another traffic congestion if there is one coming, you posted your Reddit offer 17 days ago you could have helped a lot here if you had posted this simultaneously with your offer on Reddit, now your offer and intention are questionable.

Magingat dahil tuwing ganetong panahon sila nanamantala, sana ay maging masaya ang ating 2024 more to learn and earn good luck.

523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 09, 2024, 03:23:04 PM
There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

It looks like he believes in the popular saying that winners don't quit, this is not a fact, you could play for many days, weeks, and months and you could not get a single win, in my experience my longest losing streak of was 20 days, winning has nothing to do with how long you should play.
I even had a thread about a guy who won the lottery the first time he bet.
You can gamble every day as long as you can keep up and as long as you enjoy doing it but don't believe that you have to do that so you get closer to winning, I will not recommend following that kind of advice but casinos will be happy if you believe and follow this method.

525  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cantsay needs to change on: January 09, 2024, 10:32:37 AM
@_act_ In the first post I made you can see that I added “or use” which signifies that I wanted to add something more to it.

After my last case I have always made sure to use “edit” to notify users that I edited my post but I didnt find it necessary in this case since it took me less than 30 seconds to include the post that I wanted to do.
'Insert the link directly' is not the answer to that question. What I am saying is that Mia Chloe answered the question and not you. But if people are reading it, they will think that Mia Chloe was late to give the answer before you but which is not. If you like, do not listen to what I have said but see this will not help you as more people will notice and come up with what I have just come up with about you. Make yourself a good post before you click on 'post' at all than posting what is not helpful at all but later post what the person that later answered the question post before you finish editing your post. It might even be seen as plagiarism.
That's true if you did not post this, it would appear that Mia is copying Cantsay's post because it will appear that Mia just posted what Cantsay posted and Mia could be reported for plagiarism without intention to doing that, this is a bad practice if someone posted the answer correctly just support the answer.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 08, 2024, 08:43:10 AM

Now imagine that this gambling expert is you. What arguments will you give? What will you tell the patient about?
Please note that the patient will resist to the last. He will give counterarguments. For example, that he will get rich in the future, he’s just not lucky yet.
What other arguments do you think the patient will give? How do you respond to these arguments of his?

It's questionable if the form of treatment is through argument and counterargument, if you're treating a gambling addict they do it through behavioral therapy, medications, and group help but I doubt if an argument can help gambling addicts, they will defend their addiction through reasoning and argument and because of their pride, they will beat you through their argument.
Gamblers are good when it comes to defending their passion so I doubt if gambling experts can even help cure or improve the condition of gambling addicts.
Instead of arguments, the professionals employ diagnosis and there are many parts of diagnosis when it comes to treating gamblers.

Check this article how professionals treat addiction to gambling.

527  Local / Pilipinas / Makakaapekto kaya Sa Bitcoin Adoption Sa Mga Nangyayaring Rigodon Sa Ating Bansa on: January 07, 2024, 11:35:04 PM

528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 07, 2024, 12:51:57 PM
This thread is inspired by the thread created by sportsbet.io about a lucky bettor who won $42 million on a $50 spin.

So let's discuss. This kind of win can be compelete considered based on luck, and the winner is so lucky that he hit the Jackpot. However, since the goal here is $42 million and you can only win that if you would bet $50 for one spin. So, do you have the courage to do that?

First congratulations to the winner of that $42 million from Sportsbet, I will bet why not if I have an excess amount,  the chance to hit that jackpot is very slim, for me $50 for one spin is just too high when I'm only betting 10% of that amount I don't think I will have the courage to bet that amount, I am the kind of gambler that only bet small amount so I can extend my betting session so I can finish the hours I allocate in my gambling session, if you always play with the amount of money you can try to hit that jackpot but, but for average gamblers, they will second think betting $50 for a spin.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 06, 2024, 01:03:32 PM
I just discovered a friend's personality, who in real life is very thrift and very conservative but once he played online in casinos he became very reckless and loved to play the risks because for him when it comes to gambling if you cannot take a risk you don't have a chance to win big, that's a big contrast from his real personality for him he has alter ego when it comes to gambling, so his outlook and decision is very much different when playing.

How about you Are you gambling in a way that is very different from your true personality,

530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 06, 2024, 11:51:49 AM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?

There is no amount of winning that you will be compelled to retire there are records of gamblers who won a big amount of money then eventually lost it from gambling, in fact, it's the other way around it will motivate gamblers more because of the greed of winning more, gamblers stopped when they do not have funds or they have cured their urge to gamble.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gamblers do retired betting gambles on: January 06, 2024, 11:22:41 AM

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

There is an age before you can start to gamble, but there is no age when you should stop, as long as your mind is clear and you are capable of betting, you can retire as young as you want and as old as you can.

Gambling is a good recreation for old people they keep the mind clear and motivated the excitement they derive from gambling can help boost your neurons, as long as you can walk you know what you're betting you can play on physical casinos, and as long as you can see and you can type you can play online.
When you can still overcome obstacles of old age you are free to bet and it's your right to bet.
532  Economy / Reputation / Re: Anyone got banned yet because of changed Mixer rules? on: January 06, 2024, 06:26:51 AM
Is the object of your question aimed at high ranking members who usually use campaign attributes? I'm sure so far they've accepted the new rules, and nothing has been banned so far
Any actions like ban related to new Mixer rules. Not sure because I did not hear about any known incident.

Members are fully aware of the rules and the warnings they have a full month to understand and adopt if someone gets banned then it's their fault the word filter is now in place so there's no one can promote mixers here maybe after a month or two, people will get used to not discuss mixers here in Bitcointalk, we don't know if in the future the admins will allow mixers to advertise here, only time can tell.
533  Economy / Reputation / Re: @Lucius accusations: is there hope for all newbies? on: January 06, 2024, 05:43:12 AM
Once you prove you're here to contribute meaningfully, attitudes will thaw.  Till then keep your posts short and sweet.

I don't agree with that. He has done nothing wrong, therefore he can write the posts as he pleases, long or short. Earning trust has nothing to do with how he writes the posts.

I agree with you Bro if he is doing great on other platforms and he wants to take his skill and his work here, there is no need to change the style of his writing as long as he is aware of all the rules and he is not violating any there is no need to change his style just to please some members of the community, if OP is good and clean he should keep up and do not be discouraged.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: January 06, 2024, 02:44:59 AM
This is a big surprise and a big turn of events just a week before the Saudi big events all talks were all Wilder and Joshua and after Wilder lost to Parker this happen, Joshua faced a big obstacle on his journey back to regaining the titles he loses, Ngannou is a dangerous fight, and he can get knock out here if he goes to the ring without a good plan, we have seen how Ngannou almost beat Fury.
He should be very prepared here, I bet on Ngannou here I don't think he can take Ngannou's punch, and besides Joshua does not have a good lateral movement he is an easy target, if Ngannou wins this fight there's a possibility he can get a crack on the title and it's his third fight only.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble on Bitcoin ETF approval results? on: January 05, 2024, 12:19:27 PM
This is a time-based bet

Quote
According to Polymarket, the market will resolve to “Yes” if any spot Bitcoin ETF receives approval from the SEC by Jan.15, 2024, at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” This means holders of either bets will see their earnings or losses by the deadline set.
And there's a possibility that the no will win the bet if there is no decision comes out on that specific date Jan.15, 2024, at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time, and to back it up there's one article here, and it quoted Markus Thielen, head of research at crypto financial services firm Matrixport

Quote
“While we have seen frequent meetings between the ETF applicants and staff from the SEC, which resulted in the applicants refiling their applications, we believe all applications fall short of a critical requirement that must be met before the SEC approves,” Thielen writes. “This might be fulfilled by Q2 2024, but we expect the SEC to reject all proposals in January.”

BTC ETF watch: Crypto firm Grayscale just gave a major sign that SEC approval is imminent

So if the opinion is accurate it will not be approved this January but it may be eventually approved later but not this January, ETF decision is so important that the casinos have come up with the betting for community awareness.
536  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Philippine traders need help! We want an exchange with p2p feature like Binance. on: January 05, 2024, 07:02:19 AM
Isn't this a great opportunity for some local exchanges to take over the market?

People wouldn't be seeking another options if the local exchanges could satisfy its users. The problem with the local exchanges is that they are very strict with implementing the laws. For traders from the Philippines here, they knew that there's a lot of feedback of accounts being frozen due to whatever reasons, in short, it's not safe if you are trading huge money and you have transactions from unverified platforms, especially if your account is link with the gambling site, that's a big no no as it will trigger closure of account.

My brother's account is still frozen with that local exchange even if you did not mention the name of that local exchange it's easy to figure out, we have a local thread about local exchange approved by our central bank, you can check it out here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476735.20
I checked if you drop a post here and don't see your name so I figured out you may not know about it, and you can use their service while there is no P2P platform yet for us Philippine users.

So far no exchange's serving our local users who utilize a P2P feature but since there is a vacuum on this service let's see if there's one platform that will come out that will fill Binance's absence.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [A POLL] Without Chances of Making Money, Will you still be gambling? on: January 05, 2024, 06:29:45 AM

So, one question I want to ask is, if games were built to be played with money on casinos like we do now, with absolutely no chances of making money even when you win a game, would you still be spending money playing this games or betting on sports games?

If there's one casino that will promote itself as a platform where you will have fun playing but have no chance of winning, I don't think it will be supported and only a few players will play on this kind of casino, casinos are being promoted as an entertainment platform with a chance to make money these two elements are what makes people play on casinos and there are players who seek to make money from gambling and there are so many of these gamblers, so the casino will lose these clients, although they can still make money but not as huge as when you promote the platform for fun and making money.

So far the poll reflects this

Oh yes, I will be happy spending my money, gambling for nothing but fun.   - 3 (20%)
Hell no, why would I waste my money doing something that has no chance of bringing me money back in return?   - 12 (80%)
Total Voters: 15
538  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Metamask Airdrop is spreading in the twitter(X). Be aware. on: January 04, 2024, 11:18:26 PM

Scammer Twitter profile:
Code:
https://twitter.com/AlianPerdomo

It seems the Twitter profile is suspended due to violating the terms. That's nice.

During the upcoming bull run, there are a lot of such scam airdrops/giveaways will come. Let's be careful , avoid them and keep secure yourself.

How I wish Facebook and Telegram were also that fast in suspending accounts there are more fake airdrops on Facebook and Telegram and they are hiding on groups and pages/channels.
Airdrops and giveaways are things of the past, they offer zero value, and they just want to scam newbies into handling them there private keys for airdrops that have no use case, it will take a long time before these airdrops vanish because there are always newbies who will believe in these airdrops and shills who will give fake testimonies about these airdrops.

At least tell us first what the platform is all about how it works what are the benefits and what is the price of the plans before redirecting us to your website so we'll know what to expect.
Checking your website there's nothing there but a login page there's no FAQ, and no terms, you should create a page for your terms of service for visibility instead of placing the link on the signup page, your site is not properly configured as information is not easily accessible.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 04, 2024, 09:53:34 PM
I am asking this question because, for me, there could be a possible conflict of interest here.
There is a conflict of interest, the reviewer cannot look at the other casinos without comparing his casinos and since a casino reviewer is a marketing platform he will likely favor his casino and will use all the other casinos just to advance his casino's interest

Quote
While I'm not certain if this is happening in the real world, it raises the question of whether you would trust a review website in such a case.
There's a possibility that there are review sites that own their casino but they do not attach their review site to the casino as it will have bad feedback on the review site, and about trusting a review site as long as he is not favoring and he retains his transparency and balance on his reviews I can trust the review site, but as always the casino partakes the reputation of the review site and vice versa.
