521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 08, 2023, 09:30:23 AM
I was listening to a news that one of the relatives of a person kidnapped him and asked him for bitcoin in ransom. This happened because that person showed his bitcoin holdings to many of his relatives and news spread among them that he has lot of money invested in crypto. Though, finally funds were recovered from that guy but he could have even lost his life in the whole scenario. Thus, you should be careful with disclosing about your bitcoin holdings to everyone.
At one point you could feel like sharing your Bitcoin investment plan is part of the reason to keep going, like some kind of encouragement for you, this was how I used to feel too until I don't need to anymore, but now it's very hard to pretend like I don't have anything.

Some time ago I had to lie that I was broke because too many family members start asking me for help and I can't afford it, I was like why me until I found out that someone in the family spread the rumour, I thought he was someone quite and who doesn't talk much but I was wrong.

Now I had to leave my old city for another one, just to stay away from any possible threat, so OP you are on point with your warning, many around you don't want the best for you, they are just pretend to care, and when you manage to take the upper hand they can still hurt you, no harm comes to you if it was not plan from the inside. Stay safe everyone.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 11:07:25 AM
If money is what dictates your happiness man you are fucked up, it means you are doing something based on anxiety and that's not good for your health, this is why I rely more on something that's a certain, like jobs or businesses, if I am working, my monthly salary is $400 and I know that every month is when I get paid, all my live spendings is shaped around this $400, brother you will be fine this way rather than, it may happen or it may not.

I don't want to be spending my life with mixed reactions, when I win some money I feel fine and happy and when I lose some money I lose myself, get mad and angry with people around me, you don't even have to say a lot, I have seen this happening before, some people are very good at controlling their emotions and feelings but if you have problem doing this you should not get involved with things that can mess your feelings up.

Like I've said already, you are messed up if money is what's dictating your feeling, it's a very wrong way to live, gambling is gambling and you should get involved with only what you can afford to lose, your mood won't change if you lose your small money, you are a irresponsible gambler that's why your feelings get ruined when you lose money.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: December 07, 2023, 10:22:46 AM
As if Bitcoin is the only option for gamblers on every casinos, is there any online casinos that only accepts Bitcoin as their digital currency permitted to use for gambling in 2023? Today we have too many alternatives, like LTC and other, it's been a while since I use BTC for gambling, I use small amount of money like $10 $20 and imagine me using Bitcoin for gambling, I can't afford the four dollars to ten dollars on transactions only.

Tron is a very good option too, for small time gamblers like myself it's better to avoid Bitcoin, leave it for the big boys as they won't see anything wrong with the amount they are wasting on Bitcoin transaction only.

With the hope of winning is why majority of gamblers do gamble, just imagine having to stress yourself with the transaction fee too, some people use less that $0.5 to bet, how are they going to get over it if Bitcoin is the only option? They will have to quit isn't it? Choose what's best for you, it's easy.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT TAKING THEIR PRIVACY SERIOUSLY. on: December 07, 2023, 09:00:30 AM
Imagine people calling you a criminal for not keeping your money in the bank, instead you choose to keep it in Bitcoin, the next question they will throw at your face is what do you have to hide?

This is part of my own very story, it is easier for people to think that you have something you are hiding when you choose a different part, but I am very glad that Bitcoin transactions are very transparent.

This is why I don't talk ill about those who use mixers, not all of them are criminals and they have their tangible reasons for choosing to hide their transactions, I choose to get away from my government, I don't want the bank to know my real worth, I don't want them to monitor my life and finance, this was why I choose Bitcoin, but in the eye of the government, why wouldn't they believe that I have something to hide?
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with entropy (Chaos) on: December 07, 2023, 08:22:23 AM
This might says a lot why I always lose with my small bets, few people have proven that using large money makes you win, but doesn't it neutralize you losing? Because it seems the chances of winning is what only increases, I don't still like the idea.

It's like saying I should start using big amount of money to win, that's an expected strategy from casinos anyway, I have no choice or any change of heart to start using a large amount so that I can win, it sounds like a bigger trap.

I never like using Bots for anything, gambling or trading, I believe its not great, I would rather do the thing myself, and I am quit satisfied with what I am getting using small amount of money that I can afford to lose.

Do not risk more than you can afford to lose, all because of increasing your chances of winning, you can still lose the money no matter how big it is, people have lost 400k in a swipe gambling, be responsible.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling FOMO like I am? on: December 06, 2023, 11:02:02 AM
I don't feel FOMO at all, I started buying bitcoin once it crashed at 17k, I believe that those who missed out buying the bottom are definitely going to feel the FOMO, I am going to keep enjoying my DCA, having a certain amount of SAT is my goal and I care less about it's dollar value right now.

I think the ETF approval is going to get approved soon, maybe by January, because I am hearing stuffs that ETF sales is already live, so the approval must happen by ease or by force, still my advice is to take your eyes off the value of Bitcoin right now and focus on your DCA strategy.

It's too early to start thinking that a massive correction can't take place anymore because of the strong ETF approval, always make sure that you don't run out of stable coins at hand, so that you can take advantage of sudden opportunities.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 06, 2023, 10:08:42 AM
If you are a gambling addict you can work towards stopping that in the coming new year but I don't have this problem, some will even pray for luck in this coming new year, who knows what will await them? Nothing beats getting lucky in a new year, but I don't want such though, gambling is just the last thing I do to waste away some time.

My expectations from gambling doesn't exceed turning two figures in dollars into three figures and if the best happens I don't mind it, I am going to remain a good gambler who don't have too high expectations for gambling.

My new year resolution is going to be about having good health and a more blessed home, and lastly a wonderful result from my Bitcoin and crypto portfolio combined, I want the next bull market to be the best one yet, it may happen since the ETFs is already for sale now and only awaiting approval, gambling isn't one of them, it's something I have lower expectations from.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: December 06, 2023, 09:07:18 AM
This is not a fair comparison, because crack heads do spend money on drugs too, the funny thing is they don't feel right in their system unless they take the drugs, and running out of drugs is something they can't live with, they would rather go broke than not have the drug in their system.

Maybe the crackheads you see, but crack heads can be much worse than addicted gamblers, been a drug addict is way scary, because it involves their health life style, they only way drugs running in their gains and nothing else, that's why you will see some of the turning into a stick and have massive loss of weight.

Drugs feels good for them than eating, so to me there is no different in addiction, it's something that's generally bad, what can you advice a crack head that he will listen to you? If he gets better the next them he will tell you that you never advice him, they easily lose their head due to the drugs but gamblers isn't this cruel to themselves, they only waste money on casino games.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Keeping Numbers Or You Allow The Machine To Pick Your Numbers To Bet on: December 06, 2023, 08:04:52 AM
Will one win even more if he or she picks the numbers themselves? It's gambling anyway, either you do the picking or you let the machine do it for you that doesn't protect you from losing your money, believing that lottery and gambling is complete luck makes me abstain from dreams, it's not bad to try your luck but I don't want to waste my strength on anything that have to do with luck.

I choose numbers, but having confidence in them as if an angel have revealed the outcome to me is something I can never do, losses waits for gamblers more than wins, you will likely lose that's the most popular results that everyone gets from gambling and it's easy to understand, if you are willing to accept the truth that gambling is beyond anyone's power and control.

530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: December 05, 2023, 02:00:38 PM
It's very possible, but from my past trials I don't always have the same experience that streamer had, that's when I started believing that they aren't loyal with their games, it's like the casino increase their chances of winning for the streamers only to attract many new gamblers, and I really can say that I was one of those victims.

I am happy for you, and that streamer must be a genuine one who don't do everything for money, but believe me, majority of them are not been truthful, and that's why few social media platform don't like anything related to casinos.

I will like to tell you that you should accept it as a luck, it doesn't mean you will win again if you try again, cherish every wins and take out your profits, do not retry with every money you just won, stick to your affordable amount that you like using already.

By the way, congrats on your big win.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 05, 2023, 01:05:36 PM
I have this love and hate story with Novomatic I have been so luck and so unlucky with them most times, but there is something that never wrong with them though, I can't help but keep playing them even though I hardly win at times.

For me, it depends on my feelings on the experience I get from the providers, it's all about the fun for me and that's what keep me coming back.

NetEnt has also been some hit and miss relations but they are pretty substantial, their classes have always been the best but not that good with their new releases, sometimes I just feel like I can trust them even more.

I strongly believe that Pragmatic is possibly the worst of them all, it's like an impossible land to all dreamers, there is always something completely off with their calculations and their games don't always keep me wanting to comeback, the looks are most times a turn off, although not all, sorry if anyone on here is a Pragmatic fan.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $40k Price Target Achieved on: December 05, 2023, 12:22:15 PM
One thing I have come to understand with Technical analysis is that it works with time ,But the problem I have some time with my analysis is that I do expect them to happen too fast which at the end it takes longer time to be achieved.
My confidence became stronger about the future price of Bitcoin when we didn't break below $25k support level during the last retracement we had before we started heading up, and after some weeks of consolidation.

And from my own analysis, I'm anticipating a $45k, that my price target which is a few thousand dollars from your own price prediction and we already hit $41k right now, my target is still on the right track though.
If it happened too fast a free fall will follow, meaning there is no strong side ways building up with time before surging, I don't always like such moves unless we are in a full hard blown bull run, this is also why I am not a big fan of trading, because even if you are sure that a move is coming you won't know the exact timing.

I think the second bull run is just getting started, the first phase started months back while people are expecting a massive pump, it's over, even if there will be some retracement next year it won't be as deep like people are hoping for, unless a very scary event takes place.

Just because of Covid, something that haven't happened before in the history of people Hit very hard in 2020 I believe that's why we saw new lows in that year and sadly people have now use that to become a sitting duck, by not taking any action, waiting that something like that Covid period will happen again.

It was a pleasant surprise in 2020, and now it's the fools game of not buying Bitcoin and waiting, many will watch the bull market return without taking any actions, they will ape in when nothing happen this time around.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 05, 2023, 11:53:27 AM
Casinos are friendly to the government and that's why they will never have any problem with the law unless they don't register the casino, also I think you should know that the governments are also benefiting out of casinos, there are some countries that casinos are play a big role in development of the countries, you might not have hear this a lot but it is happening even in my country.

Some of the casinos can be doing something illegally, even the those regulators can know about it and refuse to keep shut since the casinos are paying them some huge amount of money, but the same can't be with mixers, because mixers are not transparent to the government and they will never like the idea, the government always want to know what happening, they always want to be in control of everything, that's why mixers will always have problem with the law.

Many said that Mixer users are not all criminal, but honestly there is no way to know if they are or they are not, because nothing is opened to the public when it comes to mixers, it's why the government are pissed with mixers and believe that it's a good place for moving illegal funds for illegal activities, mixer isn't made for someone like me, as I don't see why I will want to hide my transaction, when the money isn't dirty money.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 04:52:52 PM
What makes you think that you would have won bigger? Assuming you lose this game and the $10 is gone, you will be thanking your friend right now for not returning the $10 to you because if he did that you would have use it to place bet and lost $20, when it comes to gambling my friend you can never know what will happen, even if you are betting on the best champions.

Be happy with what you make, and think more about if you have lost the money too, gambling isn't a business which would have been better if he never return the money on time when you needed it the most, you need to change the way you think when it comes to gambling, this risky way of making money have no respect for anyone, so be glad you win this time and always risk what you can afford to lose.

535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 04, 2023, 01:02:58 PM
You are free to do any illegal activities if you are the owner of the casinos and it's not registered, but I doubt it will last long, because any unregulated casino can't be trusted, only foolish users who don't know how important a regulation is for a new online casino will be the customers of these unregistered casinos.

You can't hide for long if your casino is regulated and you are still using it for illegal funding, there is always a foot print left behind when you do something illegal online, believe me, even criminals that use Tor and strong tools to hide their human trafficking crimes online still got caught.

Crime never pays and strongly advice people to abstain from such crimes, one thing will always lead to another that will expose you, you can run it for years but one thing will surely lead to another and you will be exposed, stay away from crime.
536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are bitcoin investors violators? on: December 04, 2023, 12:42:35 PM
Well Bitcoin isn't not banned in my own country, there was a time when it was banned but really, why should I feel bad investing my hard earned money on Bitcoin? It's not even the government that's paying me the money that I use to buy Bitcoin, it's none of their business.

The best thing they can do is block people from accepting Bitcoin as a medium of exchange or making payment in the country, I like Bitcoin because it's a good store of value, not just for making payments only, you are free as a bird mate, do what you feel is right..

But do know that no government want the best for it's people, it will be hard to get you under control if you have your own money and power, you can afford abandoning the country for another, but if you are poor you are simply under the control of your government and trust me, this is what they want.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 11:51:17 AM
My gambling losses is not even close to something I will start feeling regretful about, I don't create a room for this, not in my head or mind, I am always cautious with gambling and whatever comes my way is already prepared for, so I will never risk a lot of money on gambling, you will easily end up with empty bankroll.

You need to know how much you are making per week or per month and stick to a certain amount only for gambling, but don't forget that you will probably lose the money, that's the most guaranteed outcome when you are gambling, so you will be a stupid person if you risk more than you are ready to lose, because you should know better.

I have gotten past having sympathy for gamblers that lose money, I might sound like a wicked person but it's foolish of you to want to make money doing nothing and you believe it will be that easy, that's why choosing gambling as source of income is a wrong thing to do.
538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: December 03, 2023, 04:23:51 PM
This advice is really not needed, someone who have one thing won't find it easy to sell them to take risks on Bitcoin, if I have a house living with my family, I won't dare sell it to invest in Bitcoin, where are we going to live after? So those who are selling off their properties have more than one, those who sold their cars to invest in Bitcoin have more than one, they can afford to take the risk.

It's not always good to have just one thing, this is part of the reason why, when opportunity arise you will be able to take part in the opportunity before it's too late, all those that sold their properties to buy Bitcoin are already in big profit right now, if I have something that I can sell I would have already.

Taking risks with Bitcoin always pay off, like seriously it's very hard to lose money with Bitcoin, unless you lack the knowledge of when you should be buying and when you should be selling.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for sites with good sports predictions on: December 03, 2023, 02:38:37 PM
OP are you new to sports betting? Most prediction sources I followed are not always accurate and the reason I choose to go this road was because I don't have time to watch sports myself, so my best advice for you is to start watching sports yourself, and also know that with prediction sources you can still lose your money.

Predictions or no predictions you need to focus only on what you are willing to risk, do not ever rely on anyone's prediction because you can still lose your money so make sure you risk money you are willing to lose.

There are many people that have followed predictions just like me and still they lose most of the time, gambling is something you shouldn't completely rely on to make some income like a real life job, it's all about trying your luck over again until you make it right, so ask yourself how much you will be losing in the trying again and again strategy?
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 03, 2023, 01:08:17 PM
If someone take a loan to gamble and they win a lot more money, they will believe that it's them getting luck, I knew a guy who did this and it ruined him for years before he finally recovered.

He took loan for gambling, and he won some money, he was able to pay back the loan but after few months he lost all his money to gambling and still went back to take another loan, using a cousin of his as guarantor, he came to me at the time and I told him I can't stand for him.

He lost the money in gambling and he was arrested for not paying back the money in time, he dragged his cousin into this too, and they have to both pay for the loan, it was a narrow escape for me and me saying no was why we aren't that close anymore, but he learnt that I was right all along.

He was lucky for having some things he can sell to pay back, yet he was disgraced for not paying back in time and evading the loan shark workers, I personally don't like taking loan for anything, my mind will not be at rest until I pay the money back, not to talk of using the money for gambling.
