cloud mining in general is the most lucrative way to get paid up front, all you do is buy hardware  take peoples money upfront and put the burden on them for mining luck, price of btc, etc. Because you already got paids.

Plus to cover ones ass,  all you have to do is add a line in your TOS price of btc hits x amount we stop mining and you lose all your btc.

Its kinda like back in the 1900's selling snake oil to cure old age, a 100% 99.9999999% racket.

edited for the 1 or 2 honest cloud miners out there..

I think what they are referring to, is that your btc can't be stolen/hacked/lost in the form of hacker stealing it, like most other places claim when they lose their btc.

Reason is your btc is converted to some alt coin, and according to OP all data is kept offline he literal sits there every day and manually does all the transactions by hand on each and every account, 1 man show Smiley

Well the only problem i can see, if they return your btc, you might not get what you invested back, reason is the price of that coin could have gone down in the market.

My understanding is he/she sells your btc for the coins being staked, the staked % is then converted back from alt coin to btc and sent to your wallet once a week.

Investing here is just like any other stocks/mining cloud you could lose some/all btc.

Boom! Upgraded...any real miners out there or am I all alone?

Nice.  When will you ROI?

Probably this decade. Man, this guy must be really rich or really, really dumb. Well, most likely both. Talk about dead money.

Dumb question? But is this GAW Miners 's Account?

I do not invest in something that doesn't have at least professionally designed web site. I know that this is not an indicator but it shows the seriousness of the project ..
When I see a page with such a bunch of randomly selected fonts, deficient graphic elements and so many HTML markup errors (149 Errors, 8 warnings total), I can not be objective about what is in the content.

I don't know, maybe it's just my occupational hazard Wink

Also when trying to log in (after already logged in and session times out)on the main page i see alot of MSQL scripting errors, now i am not a programer just a security nerd, but that could lead to an SQL injection attack. Basically they access your Dbase through quarrying it in the browser.

A lot of people get hacked that way and lose passwords/account info..

PS

Not meant as a criticism, but to improve its security & longevity...

Just some information for anyone planning to deal with Chinese Officials:
They're annoying as fuck. If you have any contacts within China, you can try, but you probably won't get anything out of it. This is because 2 things are needed for anything to be done in china:
Relations and Money.

Relations imply that you know some well-connected people, and you can ask for favours.
Money implies that you bribe officials to get things done quickly and properly.

If you have neither of those, you will have a hard time.

So basically like  America?

You mean SSL? Also 2fa would be nice but if the email is locked and cant be changed. all that is needed is email checks to do anything.. Which i believe there is for withdraws.. not sure about password resets..

532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Running a full bitcoin Node.. Sorta on: March 15, 2015, 01:13:29 AM
So today's question after reading..

http://www.coindesk.com/chainalysis-ceo-denies-launching-sybil-attack-on-bitcoin-network/

If someone like me whose running the latest Bitcoin Qt 24/7 with only 8 connections and not port forwarding, is it contributing to the network in anyway?
IE: Does it help to deciding who is on the orphan block or who's not, or is it just a leach without help securing the bitcoin network at all?

Thanks

We currently process withdraws in batches.

We have implemented this as a security precaution as many of our users complained after they have clicked on phishing sites and having their accounts compromised as a result.

Sorry for the delay.

Havelock

Well in that case why charge such a high withdraw fee then, seeing we paid it in the past for fast deposits, now we have to wait and still pay a high withdraw fee?

Why not make it .0005 for the miners seeing its not costing you anything to do batch withdraws now..

Yep, everything squared there in my account.

Same.. but going to have to wait 2 days to do withdraws Sad

Think we'll get our missing ~ 10 days of dividends between now and then?

We do apologize for this.

You really need to fire your entire (1) man IT staff and get your server off XP. This on and off again is getting old...
