521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: September 01, 2018, 11:47:55 AM
What is the prime motto for your gambling.
Many people here are against considering gambling as a earning source. Without money, you will not be able to gamble.
Just for fun type of gamblers, only a demo account or a video game is more than enough.

Please share your ideas on role of money in gambling.

I think most of people would like to win a bag of money, some people like Lotto, Poker, Sports, Slots, Dices etc.
Personally i play slots, and hope that that 1000 x bet will hit Smiley

But you should never play for more money than you can afford to loose, because in the long run that is exactly what will happen.
Unfortunately, a higher percentage of those that gamble today play simply because of the money they want to acquire overnight. It has gotten to the point where some will say they are investing their time and money, and then expecting profit in the long run.
Yeah, it is that bad. Whoever makes money everything when it comes to gambling, will definitely have them-self to blame for having such mindset in the long run. it is important to always keep that last statement at the back of the mind of every gambler on not to ever invest what they cannot afford to lose as they will end up losing it anyway unless they just get so lucky.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin Crashing? on: August 31, 2018, 01:14:37 PM
It seems that makes the price of bitcoin experience price breakdowns to this extent I think it's because of bad news that ultimately makes traders panic and sell the bitcoin they have at a very cheap price and finally make bitcoin prices fall as badly as this.
I still wonder why everyone keeps relating everything that happens in the market to bad news. What happened to the fact that the market had a huge rapid growth to around $19800 for no reason at all and could not sustain itself which it is trying to find a bottom as we speak ?
Yeah, that is what I am seeing in this market right now and unless we start seeing some real life usage and not just some speculative scenarios, things may actually not change.
523  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banknotes on: August 31, 2018, 12:58:58 PM
Bitcoins price is not tied to other objects in life we purchase with banknotes like we do with our own national currency. Bitcoin price is tied to dollar directly, not even fiat currency of any other nation, its strictly tied to dollar price, even while it was dropping in price for dollar it was going up on my country
because dollar gained value here.
So, basically there is no purpose of having bitcoin banknotes specially when you think we would require to make like "100 satoshi" banknotes or something for it to make sense since you can't make 1 bitcoin as a banknote. I think paper wallets to used as a cold wallet is a great option but banknotes to spend is not a great idea.

524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss banks to open up for Crypto Business on: August 31, 2018, 12:38:40 PM
Swiss policy makers are on the conclusion that restricting crypto startups and business have shifted those business into more crypto friendly places like Singapore, Malta and Gibraltar. Now they don't want to miss it anymore. The Swiss banks are expected to be ruled to accept crypto businesses by the end of the year.

https://news.bitcoin.com/switzerland-considers-granting-crypto-businesses-access-to-banking-services/

It is a very good thing that the level of cryptocurrency adoption and awareness is increasing hugely in the European continent at large and Asia which is about time other parts of the world start seeing the necessity to take advantage of these great opportunities. I am sure this is just a start and we have seen nothing yet.
Eventually, we will get to see more adoption from government and banks after seeing the level of benefit they stand to gain anyway. Some years back Swiss railways announced about selling off bitcoins from their ticket counter and from that I did see bitcoin prices started to soar. Hence, this news also may lead to another big ATH also.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 28, 2018, 11:06:19 AM
That is exactly when I get in and buy let alone holding. Warren Buffet (one of the richest man in the world who made his money from investing smartly) once said be afraid when others are brave and be brave when others are afraid.
Seeing how everyone is very afraid of the market right now and think bitcoin can go even lower, I feel like it is exactly the perfect time to buy bitcoin as much as I can afford or at least hold the ones I have. I make bitcoin by working and I try to cash as little as possible these days because I know that if I keep bitcoin on my wallet it will worth a lot more when bitcoin prices once again goes up.

526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the cryptocurrency 3 years later? on: August 28, 2018, 10:53:46 AM
Three years later, what will be the mainstream cryptocurrency and market conditions?BTCBTCBTC

Since late 2017 altcoin has indeed shown a movement toward the top, or at least challenging bitcoin.
If in 2018 altcoin triumph was not a fortune, but it was thanks to the hard work of everyone and the investors who gave everything here.
The era of shitcoins is actually getting close to extinction and we will start getting to see more of coins and tokens with great potentials only in the market and not just some pump and dump coins with no future, no developer, and no product whatsoever.
In 3 years’ time, and just like someone rightly said, the maturity of this market would have increased and if by then we are able to start hitting the mainstream in terms of usage, it would even be more magnificent.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: August 27, 2018, 12:18:36 PM
I think it's related to the risk vs return. Gold "Investment" is an "investment" with very low risk. I use quotes because gold is more of a hedging tool, not an investment tool. They will be more risk-averse as they get older, this is because they cannot recover from the investment losses like when they were young. While when we were young, we tend to be more risk-taking, because we can work harder to recover our losses.

Yes, The risk of investing in precious metals in general is not as much as the risk in investing in other areas to store value. Older generations are not looking at the future since they have limited time to live anyway, they only need something with less risk they can invest in at this present age which they have been used to as well.
Psychologically, we all know how old people think when they are getting to their peak age. Old people always will go with traditional things as they want to eliminate the basic risks and if we notice they are all right with their investment decisions at most of the times.
528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: August 27, 2018, 11:46:22 AM
Short term: If you like to make money quickly and take the same opportunity the event of coin
Long term: If you believe in the cryptocurrent market and the patience of myself

I would not say short term investment is about luck, but simply about how well you are able to trade based on the knowledge that you have.  When market is positive and more particularly bitcoin is doing good the short term investments with any crypto also will be profitable.
Market is always not about gambling except for people with no strategies anyway, it is more about knowing what to do at every point in time and for those who cannot trade effectively, I do not expect they will ever pick short term over long term anyway, so that makes it dependable on each person.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: August 27, 2018, 10:56:48 AM
Mainly studying. Studying the coins whitepaper. Studying the promises they are making. Studying the team that is behind it.
Basically learning every single bit about the coin itself. It is not purely chart reading it is also community reading. How many followers does that coin have. How much traction in media does it get. Even how many subs does that coin have on reddit matters. Just make sure to read them as well so that you can see if people are bullish or bearish on it.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: August 27, 2018, 10:42:14 AM
I prefer investing in gold and bitcoin. Gold, because it has the highest reliability. A bitcoin, because I believe in its perspective and the growth of its price.

Gold prices are either falling down or being stable in last 3 to 4 years hence investing with it may not give us big returns whereas bitcoin's returns are marvelous except this year's down fall. But, this is the right time to invest more with bitcoins rather than just looking for non-profitable investment oppoertunities.
Diversification is a good thing and every investor must go for it. But at the same time, we must choose highly profitable investment opportunities only. As per this, gold cannot be an investment opportunities for myself in this crypto era.
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not perish on: August 26, 2018, 05:21:07 PM
Bitcoin is too resilient to perish though there are fluctuations in the prices on the market. Market will soon stabilize in no time.Do you believe that?

True, bitcoin can not die for now, this is just a price correction and it will not last forever, an increase in price definitely exists because bitcoin is still the best in crypto.

Bitcoin will only die if the people will stop investing in the market but as of now, cryptocurrency is still growing strong which is a good sign for every investors who are hoping for the price of cryptocurrency to grow even more in the future.

We should also focus on other currencies power on keeping bitcoin higher as well. I know we believe that bitcoin is what is driving this crypto currency market we are in but in reality it is more like the altcoins are keeping the bitcoin higher.
The higher the altcoins go the higher bitcoin goes, it is not going to stay still when all altcoins rise, so that means that if alts go up than bitcoin will need to go up too, however when bitcoin goes down, we see some altcoins pump and dump, meaning bitcoin price going down doesn't affect as much on alts as much as alts going up affecting bitcoin.
532  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: August 26, 2018, 05:11:07 PM
Between USD and Bitcoin there is a relationship of value. Typically, Bitcoin is usually converted into USD. And most investors will use the dollar to buy Bitcoin speculation. So, if the dollar price drops, the value of Bitcoin will also decrease.
However, the rise and fall of the USD price did not significantly affect the growth or decrease of Bitcoin prices in the Cryptocurrency market.

There is no "if" dollar falls. Dollar will always fall slowly because of inflation in the world. I mean 100 years ago 10 dollars worth a lot of money and you could buy a lot of stuff with it. Nowadays 10 dollars is not enough for a decent meal let alone anything else. Dollar always goes down, all currencies goes down. This is the reason why people say that bitcoin is not a "currency" but more like gold and silver which gains value over the inflations of currencies like dollar and euro.
When dollar goes down bitcoin ends up higher no matter what happens because dollar values less. Maybe one day a mcdonalds burger will worth 100 dollars maybe that happens in like 20 years from now, at that point bitcoin will worth a million dollars and it wouldn't be a surprise or a shock because a million dollars won't be enough for a small house because dollar devalued. Bitcoin needs to go higher than inflation for it to be a good investment.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life with a Gambler - Solution! on: August 26, 2018, 05:03:08 PM
I don't think gambling should be called a addiction it's not something bad or horrible as it's always is portrayed. Not all our alike, not even our fingers are the same size, each one finds a different passion which keeps him sane so I would call it a passion, i believe each person is sane enough to decide for himself, and so I feel each one can make his own choice without being subject to humiliation.
Only people who do not have a future will consider gambling as an interesting thing. The fact that gambling is a bad thing and has no benefits. As people who want a much better future, we must try to leave the gambling game in the fastest possible time.
Indeed, for me, gambling is a worse way to earn a profit and to have fun as well because how will you suppose to be entertained if you are frustrated from losing isn't? And how you can say that is one of the ways to have income if you are always loosing? There's a low chance for you to win in this way, and if you won then I can say that you were lucky enough. But don't get used to it because every time you play the more you come to your worst scenario.
Gambling is really not a good way to earn money because no matter how many times you would win you will end up losing. It depends to the person if he/she enjoys gambling because there are still people who don't get frustrated in losing in gambling because they are already rich.
No matter the situation, you should never consider gambling as a good way to earn. Probably people tried gambling because they never know where to start. I'm talking about people who have not yet understand how to earn bitcoin etc. Probably the rich are the ones who really enjoy it but sadly, they are the ones who easily get addicted. Don't you think so too?
This is a delimit that we don’t want to leave this gambling thing. Most of the times when people think they must earn money and need some good earning source, instead of joining bitcoin world, they mostly prefer gambling. Why this is so? Because they are greedy. Their greed took over all their mind capabilities and assign it to go for such easy earning money source.
I have same point of view. Those people who choose gambling for making money are either too greedy in the way that they want to have big amounts in a blink of an eye or do not really want to work. Some gamblers realize the reality of this world after few bets but other spend whole lives in their illusion regarding gambling. Gambling can never be an income source due to its randomness.
Most people here share that they started gambling for no reason or for fun but still continuing it among many losing and frustrating moments. Life of gambler is turning due to improper decision making. If we fix that then we all gamblers may have prosperous life like most other people.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at 4500$-5000$ August-September 2018 !!! on: August 26, 2018, 04:38:11 PM
Hello dears!
Think I am crazy when I say that the cue ball will be 4500-5000$ for August-September! Can be! Do not argue! But my opinion is the place to be and here's why.

1) Institutions do not want to buy a cue ball for a high price.
2) according to the latest CBOE reports , mega whales are sitting in shorts.
3) Ruling the world just don't want the majority of people got rich and why do so people lost faith in the cue and sold on the cheap.
And the last...
4) analysis of the cue ball for 2014. He fell exactly 10 times! Therefore, from the previous highs ($20,000) ,the cue ball should fall to$ 2000 (but this is the Scam). Therefore 4500-5000$ I think it is real!

Your thoughts are interesting. What do you think about this ?

Not all of us are going to benefit from this,  just like what happened last year when lots of people decided to give up and price reduced very low that’s when it got pumped and by the time those that took a quit could return, those who had patience had withdrawn all profits and leaving late comers in a bull trap. I have also seen one analyst claim that the price will drop to $5000. I don’t have any problem with that as long as I’m very sure that price will rise again.
In August bitcoin managed to stay above $6,000 levels then why not in Stempber month also. I believe OP is just spreading some FUD and nothing more than that even he is sounding like warning all of us.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade for money or emotional satisfaction? on: August 15, 2018, 10:51:41 AM
no, we should have vision .

In the pursuit of a vision, you have to pass through these stages and you have to maximize your satisfaction both emotional and financial. This is something that pushes you forward to achieve your goal. Once you have achieved a set financial goal and you have a certain limit of finances, you then stay motivated by stepping into works that satisfy you both mentally and emotionally. Besides, when you earn in trading, it actually gives you emotional satisfaction.
Emotional satisfaction is the reason for gambling and definitely not for trading. But, probably few sort of people already doing that kind of trading  still that must be considered as gambling only.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: August 14, 2018, 03:56:03 PM
The situation in the market is not the best for fees. I think now is the time to hold and invest. There are positive factors affecting the market now. Growth is bound to happen in 4-6 months.

The current market cost of ETH is $309 which is the lowest value so far. And so far, the cost of investing in the ETH is the lowest and this is an incentive to invest in the cryptocurrencies, particularly those that can giveaway great profit when you cash your coins.
Besides, ETH is the second best coin in the market with the second highest market cap and advance technology-probably more advanced than that of Bitcoin in long run-and is worth investing in and this is the time to buy..

537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: August 14, 2018, 03:38:01 PM
I wish the same way too and buy back again today but past is past and its time to move on. Also crypto market will still recover just hold and trust it.

Exactly. That is what it is believed in business. Forget the past but do not forget the mistakes you have made in the past for they can be a part of today’s strategy to model a great plan for future profit. If you still hold the same coins and you had owned them at a price much more than the current market price, all you can do is to hodl till you get your invested money back or may be more than that
Besides, invest in the type of coins right now that can give you instant relief and instant profit. May be towards the end of the year, we might have a bull market again.

538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: August 14, 2018, 03:32:45 PM
Bad emotions, such as haste, hastyness, or fear will affect your trading, thus making you lose money, the market will never bring in income for such people.

In my opinion, business world is the type of place where you have to get rid of these emotions and other stuff and focus entirely on your goals and the way to achieve them. This is no doubt a bad thing to loose money in crypto because of panicking when the price falls. One should rather look at one’s mistakes and not repeat them nest time by learning form the mistakes.
When you invest long term, you actually have the edge over the short term investors that you would not need to worry about the price fluctuation and would not make an emotional decision so long term investment in a way keeps you away form making unwise decisions.
539  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 12, 2018, 06:15:27 AM
When investing in bitcoin you should invest in time so you can grasp and be able to understand the trends and what the market is going so that we have more suitable plans for the market.

Earning money is one inevitable need of the day and being professional, you got to spend time earning money. Bitcoin has made it a bit easier and you can earn easy money by investing in the right coin in Bitcoin for some time.
Since the technology has been great so far and giving away extensive profits, it is considered as a shortcut to making money and that is the only reason why people spend their time in Bitcoin. The pace of growth in the worth of Bitcoin is much more than that in any of the traditional assets.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: August 10, 2018, 02:48:31 PM
It actually does affect your inner self if, and will give you have the winning edge in gambling, How? It simply makes you feel more determined, stress does not come to you, and within your positive optimistic thinking you'll gain the winning edge, in gambling people tend to intimidate their opponents in effect of making the opponents fear you or making them think in a critical way that makes them vulnerable, in this way you can mentally intimidate them and make them easier to interact with, and this is why positive thinking is important.
But some time it make people over confident which result into a big lost, i have seen people who make some money from gambling and after that even after losing money again and again, but still they are involve in gambling hoping that they can make a good money from gambling.

That is the fact! A lot of people out of thinking positively make them to push even above their limit. I know it has worked for a lot of people but it works better only if such a person still understands the fact that it is just gambling and even with the positive thinking, you can still end up not just being lucky and better to accept that pretty fast when it comes than trying to push your luck so much that you throw it off the roof.
