I think ripple is better option than TRON.
People are aware about ripple and people are investing in ripple too. Because it has more market cap and people have faith on ripple. TRON is not stable in the market. I think tron will take few more years to reach at competitive level. So my choice is Ripple.

Yes, I do agree with you ETH is struggling right now. But it is most promising coin among all alt coins. ETH have maximum market cap. ETH is one of the top 5 alt coins in 2018 according to me price of ETH will go up in coming 2-3 months.
But BTC is king of all coins. Though ETH is giving strong competition to BTC but no other coin can replace BTC's position. BTC is most popular and dominating coin among all coins. And BTC will lead rest coins.

People who have ETH in their portfolio , they must hold ETH for some period of time. As we know price of ETH is quite down. Right now 1 ETH= 222 USD
which is not so good to sell your coins for satisfactory return. I think you should hold ETH for at least 3-4 months. Wait fir the right time.

I disagree with your statement. We all know crpto market have high volatility.
Investing in alt coins can give you massive returns on your investments. It all depends on the nature of investment , at what time you are buying the coins and what time your are trading. Time plays crucial role in cryptocurrency. Yes risk is equally involved in cryptos. Probability is 50:50
So investing in alt coins is not risky if you invest sensibly and wisely.

According to me hold your ETH coins for next 2-3 months for desired returns.
Price of ETH is quite low if i compare with the January month price. In January 1 ETH= 1248 USD and today 1 ETH = 219 USD these figures clearly shows what is the actual position of ETH in today crypto marker. I would suggest you to hold your coins till Jan 2019 at least to get fruitful returns on your investment.

I agree that a thorough understanding of technical and fundamental analysis make trader a good trader. But i think the crypto trading is still a gamble because there are a few who run the market which makes crypto a highly manipulated market. I have seen many good traders getting ruined in cryptos.

There could be two reasons for XRP recent pump.
1. It is a start of a bullish wave like last year where every coin starts pumping one after the other.
2. It was just an organised pump by market manipulators to short off the profit. There might be a dump incoming in XRP.
If the reason is the former one, ETH could be the next coin to get pumped as it is at lucrative price level.
