Powered Hub 10+ Ports?
Overclocking?
Raspberry Pi?
SD Card with preflashed miner?

Our group is looking at fabricating a larger volume for sale just K1s.

$2 from every one we sell goes to BKKCoins.

Maybe August for some and larger numbers becoming available as chips arrive for September.

Potential volume 11000 K1s.

We will start a new thread as soon as we get closer to our fabrication date suffice to say we are just waiting on BKKCoins to finalize everything.
Fabrication will be with a large international smt company on the island of Batam in Indonesia. Close to Singapore.
We are also keen to bundle Raspberry Pi's, USB Hubs and pre-flashed SD cards for those who want a more complete solution.

All great ideas, especially donating to BKKcoins.
You are a class act!!

I'm giving BKK at least 10 times that considering he's making my units himself...

That is generous of you agreed he deserves millions.

I asked him he said $2 good enough for me and if everyone chipped in that for every board that was made he'd do fine. I am more worried about people who don't pay ... not really a class act thing just the right thing we all should do. It is called being normal.

All I'm saying is he's literally making my stuff so he gets everything I pay him. Given him almost a grand already to stuff.

There is no site deployed at this address.

:/ I'll have to fix that...

As for 0.01, that'd be prohibitively expensive...
530  Economy / Marketplace / [Post if interested] Should we restart Bitbills? on: June 27, 2013, 01:48:59 AM
Hey guys, after around 2 years, me and llama have been wondering if we should restart Bitbills. We relaunched the site yesterday and haven't seen all too many people visit it. So I wanted to post here to see if anyone would want to buy a few if it were to restart. If we get enough interest, we should be able to get the supplies to restart it as soon as next week. It would be a lot cheaper than the alternatives we know of and we think having a cheap way to give people bitcoins in real life is an important step into mass introduction. We wanted to make denominations of 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 etc. but we could possible do lower amounts. Please post here with feedback or whether or not you are interested at all. Additionally, please sign up for emails at www.bitbills.com. Thanks so much!

Just a cross post for those not following the K16 thread.

K1 test boards are here and I'll be working on assembling a few for testing next. The firmware is mostly done and I'm expecting by the time the ASIC samples arrive the kinks will be worked out and I can focus on just the ASIC data signal issues.

536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SATIRE] How to design a CoinChoose-constantly-profitable coin? on: June 10, 2013, 10:27:20 PM
I feel like if demand goes down, the difficulty would spiral to something like 0, now that would be awesome.

lol, that's what happens with coins now anyway Tongue it's just a seesaw, diff goes really low, miners jump on. Diff goes really high, miners jump off. if the coin isn't profitable, it is MADE profitable temporarily by having the diff drop to extreme levels.

Yeah but sadly, it can only go so low Sad

I've been out of the loop for a little bit the past few weeks due to my new house. What is BKKCoins? Is it/ he part of the group buy?

Ok we  can do it that way. x / 10000 chips = x / sample chips

Who's going to pay for shipping?

I'll pay for it. He leads an open-source project to make avalon miners

on a side note, PLEASE answer my pms/ texts/ emails... I bought all of rallyes chips almost a month ago and I still have no confirmation Sad
539  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy#1] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as escrow! FINISHED! on: June 10, 2013, 07:24:57 AM
Send mine to BKKcoins please
540  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: June 10, 2013, 01:15:50 AM
That's reasonable...We should work on finding someone who is willing to organize the group buy then. Cheers for the great explanation. I just think that the prices scared me a bit.

No worries. In a few months, I'm sure someone will be able to. I think I can work a deal out with canary for him to do a group sell.
