Thanks for the graph, merited.
My interpretation is slightly different.
It's not the altseason, it's a repricing of POS (including upcoming POS (eth) and NRC, not real crypto (ripple)) vs POW crypto.
The difference: only POS/NRC coins really move, POW alts don't move much.
I think that it would continue for at least 2-2.5mo, after which we probably would have a fast move in btc (at least 10 points up in dominance from the lows at the end of March-beginning of April).

TBH, that's not a common point-of-view. I've heard people shouting "PoW will pump, PoS won't!" before, but not the opposite of it. Let's see if what you're saying actually happens.

Two coins out of my whole portfolio that pumped a hell lot in January are ADA and ZEC. One is PoS and the other is PoW. I've completely bitcoin-ed out my ZEC, but not ADA. I honestly would love to see ADA/BTC running up further. Tongue Let's see, let's see...

Will this support level hold? Or are we actually going to witness the continuation of "alt-season"?

Made another modification today:

...and another modification (upped the leverage a bit):

Today I closed the whole position for 0.27 XBT net profit, and entered the following positions with the whole stash:

1. Spot-buy 50,000 ADA
2. Margin long 100,000 ADA with 2x leverage.
3. Market bought WAN at Binance (at 2080 satoshis each) with remaining 0.20 BTC.

Feels good! Grin

Selling all my WAN at 2489 satoshis each, and with this balance, longing some ADA/BTC with 2x leverage again.

I am trying to follow your trade so far, my though initial was that you are just having a purple patch but it seems you know our onions, anyone looking for trade signals this thread is a must to follow, unless some paid group where you get no value for your money.

Thanks! Smiley
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elixxir (by David Chaum) - Fastest - Coming soon! on: January 31, 2020, 08:29:45 PM
I did tell Elixxir team when I opened this thread; I told them that I'm interested in setting up a thread for Elixxir. In reply, they gave a go-ahead and I opened this thread. As far as I remember, I talked about this with Amanda Cavaleri.

I'll try to keep this thread updated with new Elixxir-related announcements till we get someone from the Elixxir team to create a new official thread; however, I want you guys to help me too in keeping this thread up-to-date till we get a new thread.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elixxir (by David Chaum) - Fastest - Coming soon! on: January 30, 2020, 10:58:24 PM
I've not been following Elixxir's updates for the last few months, and I just found the following signature campaign:

[CFNP]DAVID CHAUM's XX Coin | Signature Campaign | Sr - Hero/Legendary Members

I've followed the URLs provided in that signature campaign and it seems like David Chaum has actually decided to go for a token sale:

https://sale.xx-coin.io/

I initially thought that David will not put it up for sale like this, but oh well. Roll Eyes It'd be great if someone can share further updates related to Elixxir or this (so-called quantum secure) xx coin.

Maybe we all should just pack our bags, forget hodl, sell off our BTC, and enjoy the last few days of our life before this corona thing kills us. Cry

FYI CryptoBridge exit scammed a while ago. I'm not sure what you're considering major or not, but there are lots of people out lots of crypto. I lost about 0.12BTC personally.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5207458.msg53735110#msg53735110

Thanks for the information! Well, sad to hear that you lost some of your precious BTC at CryptoBridge. I've removed CryptoBridge. Moreover, the "Last updated" section of the table tells about the last updates of the exchange platform. As CB's Last updated was September 2019, it meant that its complaints were last updated in September 2019 (and there weren't many complaints at that time).

Livecoin:

The total number of accusations: 6
The number of major accusations: 2

List:

6. Livecoin.net Scam

5. Livecoin.net stealing clients ETH assets

4. Livecoin took the money and ran

3. LiveCoin - ETH Scam Confirmed

2. Livecoin - did they exit.

1. Livecoin exchange - thieves and scammers

Note: It seems like they had some sort of Ethereum (and ERC20) deposits related issue a couple of years ago (which I believe is no more present). As it's a low-volume exchange, trade with low-funds only.

The other day I stumbled upon one of the last posts of bones261 in another thread. It seems that he sold too. Not that he had a huge stash, but still.

This. Is. Bad.

I wish that I had the BTC to set up a seastead.  Cheesy Atm I only have something like 2 bitcents left.  It's one of the reasons that I decided to lose my signature. Gambling just isn't something that I should be immersed in. Although I will still be keeping tabs on the Game protect thread. (I won't become one of his clients though.) However, although I'm BTC poor, I'm rich in source merit to give out. I have well over 300 to give out.

540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2020, 10:27:48 PM
Thinking about going all out is so 2015. (especially when it is down 50%+ from its ATH) That was the year I was afraid of bitcoin crashing to zero and I had no coins at that time. I was all out.
I totally agree. I went almost all out in 2015 when I bought my Ducati for 30 BTC.

Wow, I guess I wasn't alone when I sold my 20+ BTC for a stupid old Honda Civic back in 2015/16. I still regret that decision, and I still have that car parked.

Today I reached a new ATH in terms of USD (the last time I reached my ATH was in January 2018), but I'm absolutely sure that I'll never be able to reach a new ATH in terms of BTC as I had a hell lot of 'em many years ago.

Let's just forget the painful past and focus on the future. #StackSats
