'We felt a bit like we got the Ashes stolen' - Justin Langerhttps://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27521602/we-felt-bit-got-ashes-stolen-justin-langer"The main challenge, the biggest one, is that you know how much work's gone into winning this Ashes series," Langer said. "It's been huge, from the preparation, the Australia A stuff, the selections, everything that's gone into it, and it was that close, we were that close. That's the toughest part of it, we were that close, and we let an opportunity slip. Therefore, when you let an opportunity slip you can dwell on it or you can use it as fire to make sure it doesn't slip next time. I don't wanna say this, but... "after the World Cup, time to steal the Ashes!"

~snip~
What we refer as Mobile Money Services is MPESA (M-Pesa is a virtual banking system that provides transaction services through a SIM card - NO Internet is Required).
~snip~
We don't use the internet for mobile money services .... And most Cryptocurrency projects require internet connections at some point such as installing wallets, processing transactions etc.
That makes perfect sense. So it seems like that you guys are using these mobile money services for transactions (and other activities) through SMS/messaging and phone call methods. Even though the transactions of cryptocurrency require internet, I know a few projects which are working to make the stuff internet-free and let the users transact on SMS (such as the following project): Transact Bitcoin Cash Through SMS Text MessagesHowever, the major issue with such an approach is that it requires a 3rd party, which ruins the taste of a p2p system.

I just typed in www.binance.com in chrome. The site shows A lock icon on the left ... binance.com/en/login ~snip~ Can people here confirm this is all correct before i log in with my information? I haven't visited binance in a while so not sure why there is no https:// on the address bar. There is a lock sign on the left of it though. Binance.com. This is correct. If you're so afraid of making a typo and reaching an unwanted (phishing) website, you should bookmark the website's URL and use that particular bookmark to access the website from next time. Moreover: A green padlock indicates:
>You are definitely connected to the website whose address is shown in the address bar; the connection has not been intercepted.
>The connection between the browser and the website is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping.

I know this isn't the official Binance exchange thread but I got some questions about the exchange. I got some Bitcoin fork coins like Bitcoin Gold/ Bitcoin Diamond that I want to sell and seems that Binance has good liquidity.
What are the policies with KYC with Binance? I am not located in USA. I won't be doing large deposits or large trading just want to sell my BTG and BCD but rather not go thru the hassle of KYC just to transact something in the 3 figure range. My exchange that I use to withdraw my USD to my bank account doesn't trade these coins unfortunately.
So if you use this exchange please provide some input?
Binance doesn't require any KYC information as long as you don't wanna withdraw more than 2 BTC worth of assets. Even the US citizens, as of now, aren't required to provide any KYC at all for less than 2 BTC of withdrawals. So you may go ahead, create an account at Binance within a couple of minutes, and trade your sh!tforks for the real bitcoin.

Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How safe is Exodus Wallet ? [Help me plz]

- Sync problems: Lots of non-sync problems especially if your country has conversion problems using ShapeShift. - High fees: ShapeShift use higher fees than average and the wallet tends to pay higher fees.
Exodus has higher fees compared to other wallets.
May I ask that which "fee" you two are referring to? The OP wants to only store coins in the wallet, and sending coin fee ain't very much TBH. Yesterday, I used it for sending some BTC, and the transaction fee was only about ~0.00004 BTC (way less than a buck). However, in the case of "exchanging" or "trading" your coins, Exodus charges about 2% to 4% of the total amount, which is quite a lot. Using the software only as a wallet (like in the case of OP) doesn't require any big fee. Moreover, Exodus only generates the profit through this "exchange" feature, and for all the work which they do (like lightning-fast support at Slack and frequent GUI/operational updates), I guess it's still pretty reasonable.

Strange. Can you provide the source of the following? "The continent is home to over 50 percent of the world’s mobile money services" This percentage looks quite exaggerated. Africa is quite behind other continents when it comes to the usage of the internet (even in 2019):

First off, just wanna say great list!!!
You may wanna add details about if its still possible to use the exchange without verifying their account, the corresponding withdrawal limit if yes and maybe you could also rate their transparency?
Non-US BitMEX trader here. A few leverage trading sites that I know are not actively banning US IPs RIGHT NOW & SO FAR requires no KYC: BaseFEX Quedex KuMEX The issue with Binance isn't US authority requiring KYC. It is some more complicated legislation which essentially requires all American leverage traders to only trade on US-based, regulated, taxable exchanges. But they don’t have eyes on every exchange out there. Wow, I didn't even hear about BaseFEX and Quedex before. I'll soon be adding those three exchanges to the comparison, thanks mate!

Dapp.com seems much better. But i wonder why blockchains like NEO do not have popular Dapps? I remember back then, speculators wouls dub it the next Ethereum or Ethereum 2.0 Could one of the reason be that it's so expensive creating a dapp on NEO blockchain compared to EOS or Ethereum? Well, Dapp.com does have a page for NEO: https://www.dapp.com/dapps/Neo...but it seems like the Dapp.com platform has some personal hate for the "Chinese Ethereum", maybe that's why they've not given a good rating to the NEO dApps? P.S. TBH, almost all of these dApps (of Tron, EOS, NEO, Ethereum) look so trash.
