It is getting real.

ICC should refund the ticket price to the audiences for the past abandoned matches.
Audiences bought tickets to watch the match, not rain. Rain can be enjoyed from home I guess.

Does anyone know anything about the refund policy of ICC?

AFAIK, ICC refunds them 100%.

Australia scored 307 runs against Pakistan today. They all out within 49overs, shame. Pakistan is looking decent until now, 124-2. Pakistan needs a solid partnership to make this match interesting. If Pakistan wins today, they will be one step ahead of qualifying Semi finale.
With the way Australia started batting they should have score above 330 runs but Mohammad Amir bowled exceptionally well and was swinging the ball in both directions and Pakistan missed many chances in the field, Pakistan likes to surprise everyone and with a good start they had now they end up losing 5 wickets and will loose by a big margin with the way the match is going.
Tomorrow we have an interesting match, India Vs New Zealand and hopefully we will have the full match.

Edit: Another surprise as the tail enders scored runs than their main batsmen. Grin

Can someone explain to me that why the hell did Sarfaraz take the run and give the strike to Afridi, the 11th man? Simply horrible. Sarfaraz seems to have absolutely no confidence in his batting skills. I've never seen any captain making such a stupid mistake. Roll Eyes

Guys, tell me, please, ZecWallet - is this ZCASH official wallet, supported by ZCASH developers?
https://github.com/ZcashFoundation/zecwallet/releases
Is it as safe as BitcoinCore?

Yes, that repository belongs to the Github of ZCash foundation and ZCash foundation is made up of ZCash developers. It should be safe.

I have zero interest in participating in some moron's attempt to play God when the universe itself has created far superior systems.

Which one are you going to prefer for traveling?

1. Donkey ride (so natural and a ride created by the universe itself)
2. Lamborghini ride (which is some moron's attempt)

 Roll Eyes

1)  Metals are superior to imaginary, valueless, digital shitcoins as a settlement system.

2)  A donkey is not a superior form of transportation.

3)  A Lamborghini is not an artificial, Keynesian construct; it's made of metal, so part of the natural world and not even a valid comparison.

Then other exchanges need to step up their game try harder when it comes to competing. That means offering better services such as moving to friendlier jurisdictions to avoid KYC for cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. Binance only grew so huge due to being better than their competition.

That's true. CZ's great policies pushed Binance (BNB) way up; Binance is undoubtedly a very good exchange right now and better than all crypto-exchanges out there. BUT, IMO, if you're having a good time with any other exchange, you've just gotta defend it when someone else is trying to bash it, especially when someone so powerful around is envisioning the rearrange of blocks on the one-and-only BTC chain just to clean his own sh!t. Roll Eyes If CZ could imagine it today, he can do it tomorrow if remains this powerful.

Apart from around 3 people that post constantly saying Bittrex is a scam - nobody says it.

those "3 people" are the most persistent ones or probably the newly scammed people. otherwise we said it 1.5 years ago are aren't willing to waste any more time repeating it.
majority of active traders left Bittrex because of it and that is why their rank dropped from #1 down to #100+ in 2017 and Binance grow overnight!
also the starter of the topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390 what more do you want?

I'm not sure why but I still find Bittrex as one of the best exchanges out there, especially when one single exchange (Binance) is trying to take over the whole crypto industry. I keep supporting Bittrex because I personally feel horrible seeing Binance destroy the coins of their choice and CZ thinking so lordly (he literally wished to reorganize the BTC chain recently). I don't think that Bittrex has ever been hacked since its creation, which is a very positive point for its reputation. Moreover, all (or maybe most of?) those complaints that were registered under the feedback of that profile that you shared seemed to have one single problem: unavailability of KYC when it was requested by Bittrex (I know that it wasn't very ethical of Bittrex to just ask for KYC out of nowhere, but you need to be ready for this sort of stuff when you're using a service registered in the US). Those who were willing to provide their verification documents never faced any issue(s) with Bittrex AFAIK; I'm one of those.

I just do not want CZ to have complete control over this whole industry, that's all. Let's keep some competition among exchanges alive! Roll Eyes

My picks for semi-finals:

1. England
2. India
3. Australia
4. West Indies/Pakistan (this slot will probably be filled up by the team having a better run rate)

Very surprising that you have picked West Indies and Pakistan ahead of New Zealand. Just check the points table, and you'll find NZ on the top of the table with 6 points from 3 matches. I have a feeling that NZ can be the dark horses this time. Everyone has a tendency to take them lightly, probably because they don't have heavyweights such as Virat or Warner.

I know that they're currently on the top of the points table, but that'd change. Just wait and see:

New Zealand might have won all three matches that they've played till now in the world cup, but I'd still say that they're not going to make it to the semi-finals. They actually haven't faced any good team yet; the three games that they've won were all against the weak teams: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. I believe that their losing streak is about to commence.

Just found this gem.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqpwuJw7cxY

If someone told me years ago that the Bitcoin blocksize drama would be discussed in Oxford of all places I would have thought that was the dumbest shit i've heard, yet here we are. Somehow CSW got there.

You can even discuss "Is LOL really a kind of obvious spam?" at Oxford if you've got only a few thousand dollars to spare:

Hire a Room

https://www.oxford-union.org/private_hire/hire_a_room

Goodman Library is present there; it's the place where CSW is talking in the video.

I doubt discussing if lol'ing all over this thread is acceptable or not would be acceptable, excuse the redundancy.

Why not? That's a very solid topic. We need to define the limits of spam and differentiate between the types of it such as mega-spam, mini-spam, obvious spam, spam to ruin the SEO of the website, etc, and categorize the "LOL" into one of these types.

Once we reach $100k, I'll prove to you that it's totally possible to discuss such a topic by booking a room (Goodman Library) in Oxford and inviting you there. Wink

Another great podcast by The Cardano Effect!

New Cardano Roadmap with Charles Hoskinson and David Esser - Episode 32

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vc9VQg1qCQ

I really enjoyed the way Charles talked about everything in this one - from Quantum resistant chain to the governance and treasury system within the Cardano ecosystem (Voltaire).

A couple of very good comments that Charles made in this podcast:

"IOHK is going to work for Cardano's development for a long time, if not forever."

(this will of course only happen if the ADA holders provide IOHK another chance to serve them after the Voltaire era is completely established, that is by the end of ~2020 according to the new roadmap).

"Less scalability failed Ethereum, and that's why the Basho era is going to be very interesting as it'll make Cardano much more scalable."

I agree with you that NZ hasn't faced any strong teams yet and the losing streak for NZ yet to come.
But also you cannot deny the fact that NZ is in good form now if we compare with their last few years performances.

Still I kept NZ in semi-finals in my prediction because I'm struggling to find another better team to replace with NZ. What's your pick?

My picks for semi-finals:

1. England
2. India
3. Australia
4. West Indies/Pakistan (this slot will probably be filled up by the team having a better run rate)

New Zealand, England, Australia, India will surely play semi finals, I don't think WI will get a chance to pull down any one of the top 4 teams (according to the current point table).

If my prediction is correct then I want either New Zealand or England to take the cup and also want to see both the team to play in final... just don't want other two to take the cup or even be the runners-up.

New Zealand might have won all three matches that they've played till now in the world cup, but I'd still say that they're not going to make it to the semi-finals. And India wins this. They rise on the table and presents themselves as one of the best team in this tournament. They are just behind New Zealand who are on top with 3 wins on 3 while India has 2 wins on 2. All of other teams would now have a loss. It would be wonderful to watch New Zeland playing with India.

Indian team, according to the RR, is currently standing at the 3rd position, not 2nd. Even though the English team lost against Pakistan, they're still on the 2nd number.
